My son‘s remote broke several months ago and finally decided to break down and get him one for an early Christmas gift. He came in here, just amazed at how smooth the knobs work, “like butter on a hot skillet” he said ????The price is fairly comparable to the non-PlayStation brands so that wasn’t an issue.I ordered the dark blue and it is very dark blue almost black but it’s heavyweight and I’m pleased with the purchase, even though I don’t know much else about it. But my son loves it. Based on his comments, I’ve definitely recommend.

This is by far my favorite of all the PS5 DualSense controllers. The external cosmetic design is obviously the only real differnce between any of the DualSense controllers since they for the most part have the same internals, and even though I already have red, teal, purple, and white controllers, I like this one the most and it has been designated as “my” remote, the kids can fight over the other ones. I love the camo pattern and the colors! It’s so much fun to use this camo controller!

Was an Xbox controller guy for years until I tried a PlayStation controller it feels more natural having the joysticks on the same level, definitely had to get used to it. only time I use it is to play rocket league but it’s still a very nice controller and would definitely recommend! I have heard of them getting stick drift tho so keep that in mind

The haptic feedback is amazing you can actually feel different textures through the controller. In some games, walking through mud or rubbing against rough surfaces feels totally unique.The adaptive triggers (L2/R2) add a whole new layer of immersion: pulling back a bowstring or driving a car feels way more realistic because the trigger’s resistance changes dynamically based on what you’re doing. There’s also a built-in mic and speaker, plus motion controls via the gyro, which are handy for certain games.On the downside, the battery life isn’t great, after a few hours of playing, I usually need to recharge. Also, if you don’t like strong feedback, some may find the triggers too forceful though you can reduce or turn off the adaptive trigger force in the PS5 settings.Overall, though, this controller brings a level of immersion I didn’t know I was missing. For most PS5 games, it feels like a real step forward.

It’s really hard to describe, but in games that do not have a PlayStation five pro patch it enhances them by stabilizing the frames, cleaning up a lot of the artifacts and slowdowns that were present before they’re no longer there the image and everything is just completely clean. MK one for example is getting a patch, but I played it before the patch and after the new system, there’s no frame drops, slow downs or weird stuttering. Everything is just more solid. Of course it’ll only get better once they patch it.Stellar Blade is MUCH more cleaner with patch. I also noticed the details, obviously because of the pro patch but the game runs solid and very fluid. It’s like a completely different game. I normally played game in 4K, but I had to drop down to performance mode on the original PS5 and it looked a little grainy, even with the 4K option on and you sit still and look into the distance. There was strange type of grain/artifacts. All that is completely gone now with Pro/Patched. The high frame and the good graphics are basically combining into one down. Even an option to play 120 Hz. (if into that)After the PS five pro patch games are a completely different animal, night and day. Crystal clear fluid higher frame rate and the resolution is just incredible. Everything is much more cleaner, no artifacts or weird strange noise in the background. It’s just clean it almost wants you to get closer to the television. Of course the bigger TV is really benefited from at the most I would say 60 and up. (I have a 82)As for the non-PlayStation 5 pro has games they just run more smoothly, load quicker, no studder, and overall everything is just solid. It’s really hard to explain now I know what some people were talking about saying that it’s very hard to describe. It’s one of those things you have to have inside your house. He won’t really notice a lot of of the details on a standard YouTube video or small handheld cell phone. You have to have the unit in your home. If I’m not mistaken, PlayStation five pro enhancements now after it’s released was encouraged and should be simple for the developers to turn on as the games being made.Either way i’d recommended it, very happy with it. It feels like this should’ve been the unit that came out originally back with the original PS five released. The lighting and reflection is far more noticeable like at least 2 to 3 times more detail. It’s in your face versus before barely noticeable now it’s just there and it looks really good when you see it in movement. Now some people may think is that worth it? Yes because between graphics, reflections, and real time light and animations and everything included and games nowadays when everything is performing on equal level, the experience is better.Games that are not patched seemed to run at a higher or more stable frame rate, which is something you physically notice. I tried devil may cry for the PlayStation five reflections look the same just more smoother. Not as real looking since its a release game when the Pro model wasn’t available.Games that take advantage of the more realistic reflections and better lighting have to be patched, but luckily the game ends up being more smoother feeling, frame drops are no longer a thing. Either way, old game would perform better. It also has an option to boost older games going all the way back to the PlayStation 4. I haven’t tried it since I don’t have any PS4 games, but from what I’ve read, it’s sharpens and cleans up a lot of the images even on games that were not patched.I’ll give you a tip with the 120 Hz. Sony does not have a full high speed. It’s cap the 32 something they can possibly unlock later in the future. HDR data never output full in a game that runs at 120hz, and it’s been that way since the original PlayStation 5. If you use 120 Hz and you have a 120 Hz TV the image will look darker. You can fix this by turning on HIGI in settings, (should be under tone mapping) or option in some tv that have game mode. In other TVs, it only appeared after turning on game mode.But there’s a workaround to force the system to output full color, which ends up being super bright. Change the setting for that specific game to 1080p by force in the PS5 Pro/PS5 system menu. However, I would recommend this more for the PRO because it has enhancement with a brand new 4K scaling system. Set the game to either fidelity on the P55 PRO mode or Pro Max try them both out you’ll notice the darkness goes instantly away because the HDMI now has less information to output so we can output full color resolution @120hz. Or you can just not play in 120 Hz and just use a standard Pro setting/leave system at 2k. Just giving a tip in case you try 120 Hz and realize it’s darker.I’m happy with the unit. It does feel like a completely different system. It’s just overall better performance, more cleaner, the pro enhanced games look freaking phenomenal and it definitely fixes a lot of problems with the older non-pro games.

A longtime PlayStation fan, I had been putting off getting a PS5 until the three following milestones occurred:1) a reduction in size of the console2) a reduction in the price of the console3) a reduction in the price of games for the consoleI thought that the introduction of the PS5 Slim last fall would spur my purchase, but Sony didn’t cut the price, and even older PS5 games were still selling for $70.But finally, during the Days of Play event this spring, Sony knocked $50 off the console’s price — I didn’t want the Spiderman or COD bundles, not my favorite games — and I decided to act. Four years is a LONG time to wait to play a new R&C title, after all!So here are my thoughts on the PS5, now that’s in my house:1) Setup is remarkably easy, including wirelessly transferring game save information from a PS4. It did take me a while to figure out how to turn off the female voice heralding all my actions (under Accessibility options).2) The PS5 runs like a champ. So far, I have not been aware of any fan noises or clouds of warm air exhaust spewing out.3) The DualSense controllers had weaker rumble than I expected. It turns out that the rumble motors default to the “weak” setting if you have the controller’s microphone enabled. I turned off the mike, and the rumble was back at full force, but with more finesse than that experienced with the PS4’s DUALSHOCK controllers. If I’m not mistaken, the precision of the DS controller actually seems to improve my game scores…4) The new user interface is kind of a mess. In particular, leaving the POWER button off the Home page was a boneheaded move. One of my first issues with the new console was — how do I turn this bloody beast OFF??? I wish that the controller battery gauge was on the Home page as well.5) It was a brilliant idea making the disk drive detachable. The one problem I had with my PS4 involved the machine’s failure to read disks after a few years, which I am guessing was an issue of a dirty reading head; I sent the console to Sony to be fixed, and it came back working perfectly in one week. Now I assume I can just repair or replace the removable drive without sending in the entire console for repair…6) Now that the PS5 packs 1 TB of memory, I was wondering how soon I would need to add more memory. Currently, I have plenty of memory to switch back and forth between a number of games, including Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, plus several from the PS4, including WRC Generations, Far Cry 6, and Resident Evil 4, as well as the Pinball Arcade. One good reason I wanted the disk version of the PS5 was to minimize the size of game downloads to preserve memory.7) The audio/video performance of the PS5 to play back DVD’s and Blu-Rays is outstanding. And I was happy to find that the excellent Bluetooth PDP media controller I got for the PS4 works with the PS5 as well. Yea — that made me feel better about spending $30 for the PS5’s vertical stand instead!8) And some of the PS5 titles are FINALLY coming down in price: Rift Apart and the latest Star Wars game, for example — two AAA titles — are now available for a far more affordable $30.So if you have been putting off upgrading to a PS5, it may be time at last to make the move, provided you can catch a special promotion.And to those who say, “Game consoles’ days are numbered,” I say — as long as many of us prefer to play games sitting on a couch, enveloped in booming 3D sound and watching our dazzling big-screen TV’s — long live PlayStation consoles — especially those that serve as a 2-in-1 machine, with built-in (or detachable) disk drives that also play DVD’s and BR’s!

Packaged well and arrived in a timely manner – this was important to me since it is a gift for my grandson. This game is the newest version meant to work with the PS5 and I’m certain my grandson will love it since he loves games and football!

Game play is better and the quality of the game overall is great. Big improvement from earlier versions. Specially the offensive side of the ball is great the defensive side seems to be tougher and the AI seems stronger.

It’s Madden. If you’ve played it it’s more of the same. I will say the franchise mode is better than before they’ve added some coaching features that make it more fun to play. If your think of getting I would suggest waiting for the eventual holiday sales at this point

Great as always, I love that they have added a “fan” cam. Great game as always that always gets better! They need to give my Seahawks a higher OVR but what can I say.

My son absolutely loves this game. He’s nine years old and he practically wants to live inside the game if he could of course he loves all of the NBA 2K games. He was really excited about this one and he’s been added pretty much nonstop since he’s got the game it was on sale when I purchased it which was nice for me because I feel like I might’ve saved maybe $10-$15 and any dollar you can save in this economy is always going to be a win.

PlayStation NBA has been part of our son’s birthday gift every year for 20 years. I honestly don’t think much more needs saying. He still asks for it each year, and sits down to play as soon as it arrives!Makes my son happy… makes me happy!

Overall a fun game but requires app purchases for VC if you want to play online. Hard to find players who will play with a low overall.

NBA 2K26 is pretty much what you’d expect if you’ve been playing the series the past five years. The graphics are sharp, presentation is on point, and gameplay feels smooth overall. Shooting definitely feels improved this year, which makes scoring more satisfying, but defense hasn’t really taken the same step forward.As always, the biggest gripe comes down to the money grabs-MyPlayer and MyTeam are still heavily tied to microtransactions. There are a few new spins on game modes, but nothing truly groundbreaking or game-changing.At the end of the day, it’s a solid basketball video game. If you’re a longtime 2K player, you’ll feel right at home. Just don’t expect a major leap forward-it’s more like a clean, polished update with a few tweaks rather than a revolution.

Well Ladies and Gentlemen, Fans of the Spider-Man/Insomniac Universe…. What else can I say after this. After getting my first PlayStation 5 and getting this as the first game to play, but since the middle of March I have finished Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5. This game was seriously a great improvement then the first two previous games and I think both the Missions of the Main Story and Side Missions are quite the Challenge as well as the many other things you’ll see while Web Swinging “and Web Gliding.” all over New York City as 2 of the Web-Swingers, Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Both of them take on everything in this sequel game as they both take on a New Threat, Kraven, along with his group of Hunters as they are turning the city as their own personal hunting grounds and capturing all of the Spiders Villains, well I’m not gonna spoil it for you, but as you can expect it it’s definitely worth getting. I’ve still never understood why it didn’t have Game of the Year Edition, but still a Great Spider-Man game to have and play, especially for the many things it has to offer and oh and I have to say I’ve been at it for a week and a few days, it’s the first game I’ve played on the PlayStation 5 and already I’ve gotten A Platinum Trophy on there and I was like Awesome like 12 times over, It’s really the 2nd Time for me to get a Platinum Trophy for my game, the first one being Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PS4 and it’s DLC. And yeah here’s a pic of mine to prove it and of course two pics of Peter and Miles in their Main Spider Suits close to Avengers Tower. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is sure is a Great Game, first We’ve became Greater, then we’ve been Yourself and Now we’ve become Greater Together!!!!

Big spider man fan especially open world games, this game is amazing only 1 hour of playing it and I am in love with it.

After playing a bunch of gloomy open world horror- and quest-type games, I came back to Spiderman 2 with low expectations. I forgot how sunny and fun ol’ Spidey is. This game is a blast!I’m a LONG time fan of Insomnia games. If you go back with them, too, you’ll notice underneath the controls some elements first released in Sly Cooper decades ago. Some elements were refined later in Infamous and Infamous: Second Son. And of course, building atop those foundations, this is the third Spiderman game. My point is: the controls are EXTREMELY refined and tight. You have a fabulous swinging mechanic for webbing around town, which has tons of refinements build atop it with “web wings” and the ability to sling around corners, do tricks in the air, etc. Manipulating your on-screen avatar is very satisfying.There is actually a story to this game. While you spend a lot of time on random crime-busting and neighborhood Spiderman stuff like helping a blind woman who hears a noise in her back yard, the interaction among Peter Parker, MJ, Miles Morales, and Harry Osborn has heart and feels like it matters. Some famous villains from the past, such as Sandman, are given richer backgrounds and rounded out. The tale centers around the struggle to understand (what we now know is) Venom; and the main action supports Kraven the Hunter’s quest to find a worthy opponent to hunt. (Guess who it turns out to be, duh….)Gameplay gets quite challenging in places. Some of the boss battles feel more like a twitch game than a conflict you can enter with strategy or a plan. But the lively feel of the city, the incredibly polished controls, and the feeling of optimism and heart make me rate this the highest I can.

Great marvel ps5 game

LOVED IT! Played the first Spider-Man game, and the Mile Morales game. This one builds on the world established in the first two games and adds even more flavor. They way they incorporate characters and stories from the Spiderman mythos in a new and fresh way is just amazing. I’ve been a Spiderman for over 30 years and this game still brings excitement to the franchise. Lots of new things to do and the story is just phenomenal.The new gadgets were great, but I did miss some old ones from the first game. And the new suits feature was interesting, but I liked that unlocking suits unlocked abilities in the first one, this one they are definitely pure cosmetics. The map set up encourages you to explore NYC, rather than unlock through tower locations, which I really loved.Wish they were making DLC but I’ll take what I can get!

Okay, honestly.I played this game before.I will say this very spider mancentric.Why?I was not a perfect game.It is enjoyable.It just hops you right back in the thrill of being a superhero my favorite villains in this game venom really enjoyed.It.Can’t wait for part three

It seems like every CoD that comes out is worse than the last one. They don’t get better, they get worse. Such is the case with B07. First off, there is actually a solo campaign, but they really encourage you to play co-op. The worst part is that there are no points in the campaign to save. If you have to quit, you start over from the beginning. Every. Time. How lame is that? How hard would it be to put save points in? I only have a couple hours at most in the evening to play, so if the campaign is over 2 hours, I’ll never be able to finish. So that’s off the table now. The multiplayer maps that I’ve played are OK, nothing great. I can’t find any way to filter the multiplayer game modes either. The standard multiplayer mode, which teams you up with similar skill levels, only has one mode, Moshpit. That includes 6-7 different game modes. I really only play team deathmatch and free-for-all, so I have to play through the other modes that I don’t really like to try to get to some that I do like? This is not a good addition to the franchise, a big disappointment. I really don’t see buying any more of the Black Ops series for me.

The game is horrible. The Campaign is pure garbage. The multiplayer is ok but most of the maps suck right now. Save your money. Buy a better game. You might be thinking “it can’t be that bad” or “maybe it’s so bad that it’s funny?” Nope. It’s not. If it’s not boring then it’s just frustrating to play, not because it’s hard, but because everything about it is annoying. Don’t waste money on this. If it drops to $10 then it might be worth it just for a few minutes of decent multiplayer or even zombies, but those modes are still far better in previous games. Don’t waste your time or money on this one. It’s not even worth the plastic box it comes in.

No save in campaign amd the copy/paste bots are possibly the stupidest Ai I’ve seen in a COD game, and ive been playing since the first MW. Its almost like the developers realized if they gave all the bots storm trooper armor they wouldn’t have to be creative.. disappointed.. dont even get me started kn the absurdity of the story line.. should have learned to stay away from future warfare..

Its decent at best. Black ops 6 was alot better. I dont know wat they were doing with black ops 7…you literally spawn and die. Its ridiculous I rly hope they fix the problems in the game with a huge update. I love call of duty so it makes me sad to see black ops 7 this way.

The media could not be loaded. Disc is loose inside of the case. I imagine it’s scratched at this point. This is supposed to be a gift, so we will not be unwrapping the packaging until after it is given. I suspect we will have to return it and wait for another slow shipping period to get a replacement.

I typically find the campaigns decent, but this one is so bad I don’t think I’ll be able to push through it. The story is boring so far. The level design and enemy AI are both terrible… also you can’t pause the game even if you’re playing solo.

If you’re a fan of the first game (Ghost of Tsushima), you’re going to love this one.I’m a few hours in, and the game is already fantastic!Graphics are amazing, even on the PS5 OG console on performance settings so if you have a PS5 pro even better.The world is absolutely gorgeous, the music and sounds are great, the fighting is even better than the first game it’s much more dark and gritty in my honest opinion.The story is great so far and looking to be on par or even better than the first game.The horse riding is also much better than the first game.It doesn’t feel so clunky, and the horse doesn’t feel like it weighs 5,000 lbs lol.Don’t let political nonsense or biased non-gamers tell you the game is bad because That couldn’t be more false and it’s incredibly dishonest to judge a game based on anything other than the game itself.These people purposely downvoted the game on YouTube and other sites to try and “cancel” the game without playing 1 second of it and epically failed, all because the voice actress used her Second Amendment right and said something some people didn’t like.I’m actually enjoying it even more than the original game, and I absolutely love Ghost of Tsushima.This game is a masterpiece and a must-play for anyone that was a fan of the Ghost of Tsushima game.5/5

Really fun, engrossing and very well done. I love this game. It has a lot to it and will keep me occupied for hours. It has an engaging story and the graphics are first rate.

Looks great on PS5 Pro, I use with Ray Tracing Pro setting with Dramatic contrast, looks and plays great on my 4K monitor at 60fps!As for the game itself, I’m loving it so far. From a gameplay standpoint, I really love how you switch weapons and styles on the fly. There’s strengths and weaknesses of each weapon, so despite having a favorite weapon, it encourages you to mix and match weapons on an enemy to enemy basis. The game also encourages you to explore and do things in the open world versus B-Lining the story.

This is a worthy follow-up of the Ghost franchise by Sucker Punch. The game-loop is even better than its predecessor. Even though the story layout is simple, the way it is presented is really captivating. Excellent technical performance (played on both PS5 and PS5 Pro).Recommended, even more if you love Ghost of Tsushima and/or samurai related media.5/5

This is a great follow up to the first ghost. The graphics are amazing , more weapons, advanced fighting style . A fun game .

It’s good. It’s not better than the first game. Has some interesting new features, new weapons are cool but it felt like I flowed less. I enjoyed it but I also wanted more from it. Story was lacking, very predictable at almost all points. Never had the emotional impact of the first game.

Builds on all that was great about Ghost of Tsushima and never blinks in terms of action, play mechanics, you name it. It’s also probably the most optimized and immersive use of the DuelSense controllers ever implemented. Pair all that with nice headphones and you will enter another world. Simply an awesome game, with a fantastic story and protagonist.
