  • Fair price and good product
Heck ya, plays good, screens are both perfect. Very pleased!
  • Pretty Good So Far!
I was a little nervous to buy this seeing the overwhelmingly positive reviews. You never know if they are all fake reviews, however, I took the chance. It was a gift for my boyfriend after all! He REALLY wants to play Pokemon again, but he lost his DS years ago and I wanted to surprise him with it. Even just opening it myself gave me a blast from the past!Regardless,I bought the DS specifically from “Console Replay.” I don’t know if that makes a difference in the quality, but I thought I’d include it just in case anyone is curious. The DS works well so far though! The sound is good, the screens are not scratched or broken, and the buttons seem to work (other than the direction pad, it is a tiny bit loose. Overall though it still works). The game slot sounds like it might have some grime in it, but I inserted a game card and the game still ran. Awesome! The exterior is pretty clean too and had the stylus inside. The stylus was working well and wasn’t broken despite those things being the easiest part to break or lose. The best part though was that it came with its own charger. I really enjoyed not having to buy a separate cord for the device. Unfortunately, I don’t have any gameboy cartriges so I wouldn’t be able to test it out, but I’m sure it would work well too based off of everything else. Overall, it was a pretty good buy. I’m glad I did take that chance, although I hope nothing changes with the DS (quality wise) in the meantime.
  • Polar White? More like Smoker Teeth Yellow.
First, and foremost, as an Amazon Refurb item this product SHOULD come with a charger. It did not. So, even though it technically works and came pre-charged… I guess I only get to use it once?Second, the packaging was terrible. There was one small single piece of bubble wrap in an overly large box and that’s it. No casing, no protection, just a DS Lite rattling around in a box eight times its own size with about 15 bubbles worth of bubble wrap to hopefully cushion the 1800 mile journey. I’m genuinely surprised it arrived with only a few scuffs and not completely broken.Third, it was disgusting. Just pulled out of a toddler’s mouth disgusting. I had to take the entire thing apart and clean it with alcohol wipes and cotton tipped applicators before I could even consider giving it as a gift, which was the intent here.Fourth, it wasn’t “refurbished”. It wasn’t even reset. In fact, I’m pretty confident that they just took it from that toddler and shipped it directly to me. All of the original owners settings were still in place. Which for a DS is pretty impressive, considering they take less than 5 seconds to reset. Clearly this company didn’t have ten seconds to spare… five for the reset and five to throw in enough bubble wrap for the journey.Fifth, there was no GBA cartridge port cover. I guess we just leave a game in it indefinitely.Last, it’s not “Polar White” as described. It’s incredibly yellowed and from what appears to be sun damage. The only thing I can say that’s positive I guess is that it does in fact turn on… but from the looks of everything else I don’t expect that to be a recurring win.
  • Nostalgia
Works in great condition, had no problems. Only down side is that it does come a bit yellow in the screen and on the outside. And you can somewhat see that the bottom screen wasn’t placed in right. Not a problem to me when I play.
  • As described
Came in quickly, works fine. Initially had a problem with it not recognizing the DS card. Rebooting it a couple times fixed it.No damage or yellowing of components. Came with a charger.
  • Not a fake
Very good quality. Not even dirt in the sides like the pearl whites usually have. Also not fake like the one I bought on Amazon last week.
  • Lower quality than advertised
This DS does not come refurbished. It doesn’t even come cleaned. My particular example:- still dirty from previous owner, multiple stains- has all the rubbers completely sun-yellowed, it looks awful.- was not reset, and still has the last owners information- Has half of each screen tinted yellow with ages- Does not register “down” on the d-pad 70% of the time- Doesn’t hold a charge, battery light blinks green upon being unplugged from the wallOther than that, it mostly functions. Not worth the price, and don’t expect it to actual appear like new, or in anything above “fair” quality. It’s about as good as you’d get from a garage sale. This is NOT refurbished.
  • Came in good condition
    Working good so far

What Customers Say:

  • Great Value & Solid Customer Support
I purchased the A11 September, 2024 and have been using it primarily for note-taking and occasional doodles on the iPad 9th gen. Though it lacks pen pressure support, it was $17 USD at time of purchase compared to the $70 USD of the Apple USB-C. Functionally it does what I need, but if you’re an artist, you’ll want to look elsewhere for pressure capability. I did encounter an issue with the stylus, which is mentioned at the end. What you get:The box comes with the stylus, a 6″ USB-C charging cable, 2 replacement hard plastic tips, 2 hard plastic USB-C port covers, and the typical manual/warranty information papers.Operation/Side Button:There’s a single side button that’s used to power the stylus on with one click and off by holding it for a few seconds. Though the button can also be set to other functions while on, it seems to require the installation of either the Metapen app or the Wellnotes app (both on the App Store), which not everyone may be interested in doing. Further, the speed in which the functions respond after the input click(s) are a bit delayed for my liking, so I generally just ignore the feature and use the iPad gesture controls instead. This stylus does have an internal magnet for attaching to the iPad, but my iPad has a case with no stylus holder, and the magnet is not strong enough to hold the stylus to the iPad through the case. As a result, I just stick the stylus to something metal on the edge of my desk or my computer case (which secures just fine), but if you’re more mobile, then you may want to consider a case that has a place to put the stylus.Battery/Charging:Unfortunately, I have not been keeping close track of battery life and charge times, so I cannot give an accurate, metrics-backed representation of this category. The stylus has power when I need it, and keeps its charge while powered off when I don’t use it. I do check the battery level after I finish using it for the session, and if it’s low, I’ll connect it to the included USB-C charging cable for around 30 minutes, and that generally leaves it at a high enough amount for the next few sessions (typically over an hour per session).Writing Experience:The design of the stylus is mostly round, with a single flat side, where the LED battery indicator and side button are positioned (seems like the indicator function has to be enabled in the Wellnotes app). It’s comfortable enough for me to hold for longer periods of time, and for what it’s worth, I personally have not encountered accidental presses of the side button no matter how I held the stylus. When writing notes, the only problem in quality is the readability of my handwriting; the stylus is fine. When doodling, I noticed that diagonal lines will have some semblance of line jitter/wobble, unless you use software stabilisation or draw the line quickly. This appears to be a problem with most digital styluses I’ve seen, outside of styluses from companies that specialise in digital drawing devices, such as Wacom, XPPen, Huion, etc. so it is expected. The wobble with this stylus is not terrible, and personally, it does not bother me, but it’s something I will mention since it is somewhat noticeable.App:I use the Apple Notes app because I’m cheap. The stylus works with the app.Apparently Metapen has a Wellnotes app that appears to be a part of their troubleshooting steps, but also is a note-taking app. It looks like this app can change the function of the side button (albeit with limited options); tune the stylus with sensitivity gain settings and adjustments based on the kind of tip used (plastic, rubber, metal, etc.), hand position relative to iPad orientation, screen protector; change the auto-power off time; etc., but I have not played around with those settings much since the stylus works out of the box. I have not used Wellnotes for my note-taking either, so I can’t really speak to how well it functions there.Issue/Customer Support:A timeline/TL;DR: My initial email was sent Saturday evening with Metapen’s initial response including troubleshooting steps and video-of-issue request on Monday just past midnight (likely based overseas, though fine as the representative seemed more fluent in English than myself). My video was sent on Monday evening, with their follow-up conclusion just past midnight on Wednesday. The rest of the correspondence occurred Wednesday evening, with the order for replacement created then, and it arrived Thursday afternoon. 4-5 days for the resolution, mostly slower due to time zones.About 6-7 months in, the stylus started to cut out when writing. I sent the Metapen support email a message detailing the issue, and they got back to me in just under two days (I sent the first message on Saturday evening so it’s understandable. Overall their responses took no more than a day during the weekdays, excepting a single other occasion where it took a bit more time). The support representative, Rosie, sent a list of troubleshooting steps, and, assuming the steps were unsuccessful in resolving the issue, requested a video of the problem for their technical support department. At the end of their response, they provided me the option of either a full refund or a replacement stylus (without having to send the broken one in), should the issue be unresolvable. I sent the video of the malfunction, and about 29 hours later the representative responded stating that it was probably a broken sensor and could not be fixed, so my options were the full refund or a replacement pen. I went with the replacement pen as it worked fine for the months I had it, and it was only $17. I provided my shipping address, and the replacement stylus arrived the next day.The replacement works just fine so I’m satisfied with how it turned out.
  • Review
Pencil works so well and battery last for about 4 hours! Great cheaper replacement for the Apple Pencil.
  • Great customer service
The pen and nibs work good for my kids older iPad. The pen or the nib at some point quit working, but customer support helped replace an item in order to resolve all problems.
  • My Kid Agreed, It’s a great alternative to the Apple Pencil!
The quality of this stylus is nice, it’s literally “okay.” It isn’t an Apple Pencil and doesn’t claim to be. I got this for my middle daughter, because spending 80 on an Apple Pencil that she’d possibly lose in a week wasn’t going to happen. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. The price point made this decision easy. I had no expectations for this product and only needed it to last till the end of April. I originally opened the box to try the stylus I was more than surprised. My daughter immediately loved this pencil. The meta pen is slightly larger than the apple pencil which gives more comfort to smaller hands. The material is plastic, and it feels like plastic. Which isn’t a concern to younger children. The design fit the aesthetic of an Apple Pencil. I haven’t notice much lag, and of course I only used it to ensure my daughter would have a good experience. My daughter loves the feel of this pencil and the rapid charging that the pencil has. I will be buying more of these because let’s face it she’s seven and will likely damage it in some way.If you’re looking for an Apple Pencil alternative for a child, this is the pencil for you.
  • Precision, Comfort, and Performance — The Perfect Apple Pencil Alternative!
was honestly blown away by how smooth the Metapencil feels on my iPad A11. The precision is spot-on — no lag, skips, or pressure issues — and it writes just like a real pen on paper. The magnetic charging works flawlessly, and the battery life is impressive; I can go days without needing a recharge. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and pairs instantly without any complicated setup.I use it daily for note-taking, drawing, and editing, and it’s every bit as responsive as the official Apple Pencil, if not better for the price. The palm rejection is excellent, and the tilt-sensitivity gives me great control when sketching. If you’re looking for an affordable, high-quality stylus that performs like the real deal, the Metapencil for iPad A11 is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
  • Very good value for the price.
It does everything that you would expect it to; it has a magnet for your iPad, a button to change writing tool (dependent on your note taking app – I use notability and it lets me switch between pen and eraser), battery percentage (only on app, though), and good responsiveness (no broken lines; works with very shallow angles)Things it doesn’t have: wireless charging, pressure, doesn’t turn on automatically, angle sensingNote: I did lose my Apple Pencil 2nd gen prior to buying this. All in all, no frills stylus with the necessary features and a good price. So far very satisfactory.
  • Magnets are weak, works great
Works really good, the magnets are really weak on my iPad Air m3 tho, but anything else is fine, no delays or issues.

  • BUY THIS NOW!!
tl;dr works well, comfortable, perfect.I’ve struggled my entire life writing with pens and pencils. Even with proper posture and hand grip, my forearm begins to burn immediately. In-class writing assignments were a nightmare.I really wanted to use Apple Pencil, but it was a struggle. I tried multiple grips on the market and gave up. The Pencil was docked on my iPad for a year. Why did I even buy it?Frustrated, I looked for user suggestions and several raved about The Pro-Draw Grip for Apple Pencil. I was unsure after reading reviews, but was desperate for a solution.Let me tell you, I feel NO PAIN in my hand, wrist, forearm, and shoulder when I use the Pencil with this Grip. No burning, no tingling from Carpal Tunnel. Nothing. Just really comfortably positioned pencil, comfortable to grip, and putting it on and off is quick and easy.Yes, this is a thick grip. Small-sized gloves are usually too long for me, yet this grip is the perfect size. In the first photo, you can see how I use it “backwards” (with the thicker side toward the front of the pencil). I line up the opening so it is even with the flat side of the pencil. The second photo shows the other side of the pencil with grip. The third photo is zoomed in to show the “dimple” that is on each side of the grip. This is where I place my thumb. The quality of the material is great and the appearance is sleek. I’m not sure how many years the grip’s material can withstand being put on and removed from the pencil. The only con would be storage of the grip when not in use. I recommend this grip.
  • Wacom Pro Pen 2
Thanks to the other reviewer who said this worked for the Wacom Pro Pen 2, I decided to try this grip out. While this is obviously not designed for the Wacom pen, this functions completely fine for me. I’ve been using this for almost a month and it has made a drastic change in comfortability while drawing.Being able to pick one up for 13 bucks rather than $36 is much appreciated and is a great value for the money. The grip is thick and seems to be quite durable and I definitely recommend any sort of grip to any digital artist to help wade off any discomfort from overused wrist muscles. The grip does accumulate dust but can be easily cleaned with an alcohol prep pad and Qtips.
  • Kind of tricky to get the hang of & pretty big for female hands
Figuring out how to orient the grip to my hands (i.e. where to place my thumb and other fingers) took some trial and error – maybe I’m just a little slow lol, but it was a little less intuitive than some other grips I’ve tried. I find that it’s quite large but that has its benefits. I have pretty medium size hands and would say the fatter end is a little too big while the thinner end is a little too small for my own preferences…but the bigger end is easier to hold when my wrist starts getting sore from drawing/writing.The other issue I have with it is it is a pet hair magnet! Within an hour of taking it out of the package, it was covered in cat hair. Like other silicone stuff, it’s tough to get the hair off too.Overall 4/5, not perfect but it’ll do and for $12 I’m glad I took the chance. I expect for men with larger hands this might be more comfortable, but even for my (not even particularly small) female hands I find it is still more comfortable than without a grip, and actually more comfortable than those really thin rubber grips you can get packs of like four for $6 or whatever on here for, since it offers more of an ergonomic grip.
  • Game Changer
I ordered this grip and a slightly cheaper pack of 5 assorted variety grips on Amazon to finally try to figure out if there was a comfortable way to hold the pencil for drawing. I tried holding it a few different ways but ultimately found the bigger end to be my vastly preferred way to hold it.I’ve been drawing on my iPad a TON recently and the for me the Apple Pencil just as it is by itself, quite hard hard to feel comfortable using for drawing and I was struggling with it more and more and honestly getting frustrated recently. So I went to see if there was anything that could remedy this discomfort and voila this grip solved all my issues and more! Not only does it make the pencil SO MUCH more comfortable to use for drawing but it makes it easier to draw itself as I’m able to manipulate the pencil with more dexterity and control now so when I draw I get straighter lines and better flow. I didn’t even think of this being possible simply by finding a perfect grip for it!This grip in a second changed my entire experience with drawing on my iPad and I’m so dang happy about finding it. ????Last thoughts on it are that the price is very good for its quality and design. The design having the slit on one side is so dang nice for getting it in and on instantly and for adjusting it in any way you may need in no time at all. Also because of the slit, taking it off to charge on my iPad is never an issue/annoying because it’s removes like butter!!I guess the only thing I could ask for would be more color options!! I’d love to get it in a couple fun colors!

What Customers Say:

  • Fully functional
I’ll start off by mentioning the one thing that actually bothered me, when this arrived. It came in a suspiciously large box that made me double check Amazon and the tracking number to be extra certain what it was, as I hadn’t recently ordered anything even remotely big enough to merit that box size. That aside, after getting it out of the box, I proceeded to check it over, dust it, and test it. It had a bit of dust, but that was easily wiped away with a good dust cloth. With the exception of one white scratch-shaped mark next to the volume slider, there weren’t any aesthetic issues. After that, I turned it on and tested it. The touch screen’s calibration was crazy off, at first, but after getting through the initial setup, a simple normal re-calibration fixed that right up. I proceeded to test it with both DS and GBA games – testing all buttons on the console. Everything functions cleanly and smoothly. After a quick test of the charger that it came with (also fully functional), I handed it over to the one I bought it for – my best friend who had this same color of DS lite as a kid. She has been enjoying playing on a DS just like the one she once had ever since.
  • Great
    That every thing works
  • Too good to be true
I was excited in getting this great console. When I opened it, I was surprised on how clean and new it looked. The buttons felt fine and no scratches on the screen. Even the stylus looked new. So I popped the game in and the moment I slid the power button up to turn on, I knew there was a problem. And sure enough it never turned on. I even charged it overnight and nothing powers up. I was disappointed.
  • Excelllentttt! Looks like newwww
They done a really good job in refurbishing this DS & such an affordable price $90? Can’t beat that! With this excellent condition!! There’s just minor scratch on top of DS but it doesn’t bother me. ????Now I can relive my childhood games
  • Great game great value!!
Great product for the price. Was really impressed that is in such good quality condition. Our son is autistic and this is his favorite game system! Thank you !
  • New
Nice. nothing problem. It’s look new!
  • Not bad for used

  • Screen doesn’t work right

Thank you! Great packaging, my son is so happy! ????
  • Nostalgia
I found my DS the other day and couldn’t help but indulge in the nostalgia of this game. I played until I got to the 5th world and then finally took my first break.
  • All Levels Beaten Already… Definitely Not New
⭐ 1 out of 5 stars – Not New as AdvertisedI ordered this Mario Bros. Nintendo DS game expecting a brand new, unopened copy, but it’s very clear it has already been played. As soon as I loaded it, all the levels were already completed and saved, meaning someone had definitely used it before. The cartridge itself even showed signs of wear. This is really disappointing because it was sold as new, not used. Definitely not what I paid for. I’d like a replacement or refund for this misleading listing.
  • It’s legit
The games legit. It was a littler dirty and didn’t come in the original box but if your just looking to play it then it’s worth it.
