    If you’re considering buying this and the price isn’t an issue for you, just buy it.Bought because my 3 year old daughter loves music and dancing, and she’s really into “Loop Daddy” Marc Rebillet who live loops his own improvised music…I knew she’s prob too young to really understand how to use it. It’s immediately become a source of entertainment for the whole family, well worth the price. Once she saw me playing with it, she was interested. She loves recording her own voice and was able to learn how to do that pretty quick, which has been a lot of silly fun.This thing is loaded with some legit bops in a variety of styles. It’s fun even for me and my wife to put together a song we enjoy and my daughter loves dancing to it.3 things I don’t like (that shouldn’t stop anyone from buying this!):1. The actual turntable function thing is pretty unsatisfying. Between the lackluster sounds, the way it doesn’t interact with the song, and just the inability to make the sound work well with any song is frustrating.2. The main buttons can’t/don’t work as a sound sound machine during the two main modes. The way they work in the academy mode is what I was expecting to be possible in the other modes but I don’t see how to do that.3. The installed vocals are actually coolish, buuuut if you push the tempo of the music, the vocal speed gets weird, kinda rending that useless when changing tempos.These are all minor issues, not getting in the way of our overall and immediate enjoyment of this thing.I hope this will continue to encourage and facilitate my daughter’s love of music.If you’re still reading this, definitely just buy it. Even just one or two plays with it pays for itself IMO.

    Ok so this review may be a bit odd, as I did not purchase for a human toddler. I actually purchased this for my kittens. I have a kitten that is fascinated with her self cleaning litter box. I have been looking for various “cat toys” to draw her attention elsewhere. The standard interactive cat toys weren’t cutting it. So I had to get creative. This oddly has worked in combination with other things. She is a smart little thing and loves the action and response aspect. This mat has various options that seem to appeal to her such as the animal sounds and the melodies it plays when activated. I like that there is volume control in two forms, so it’s not obnoxiously loud. The size is just right and folds up easily when not in use. I didn’t mind the price as it serves multiple purposes. It draws attention away from the excitement of the rotating litter box, it reduces boredom, and stimulates her mind with the interactiveness. She can channel her inner Beethoven or sit and listen to the King of Rock n Roll melody.If I had purchased this for my kids when they were little, I’m certain they would’ve loved this for the same reasons minus the litter box dilemma.

    The idea of this piano mat is great and both of my girls love it. This is our second one. On the first one the power switch stopped working. It was loose and when reattached just didn’t sit right likely due to damage from being dropped. On the second one, the inside wiring can bunch when my toddler crumples it and it has gotten stuck that way. I suggest sewing down the inside so it can’t shift. I would also add a non slip bottom for those of us with hard floors. It slides around very easily and can cause a child to fall as they step on it. The idea is great and it works well, but the quality of materials is poor and it does not hold up to long term use well.

    This baby toy functions as it was intended. My 22 month old great granddaughter loves playing with it and it was easy for her to learn how to mimic the sounds. She is entertained for hours by the sounds, keyboard functions and colors.
  • Very loud and the first keys stopped working after 6 months
    The tone and play options are nice, but the volume is set at max every time it turns on again and it is super loud. We had to put a layer of packing tape over the speaker to bring it down to a manageable level. Additionallt, we store it partially folded and it only gets played with a couple times a week for 5 minutes at most. But the individual keys started out needing some significant force to activate and now have completely stopped working at 10months.

The volume settings are a part of the play pad, so anytime I try to turn it town, he turns it right back up even if its by accident. But still, we just deal with the annoying loudness, its worth it for him to have so much fun.

The mat feels durable and is easy to wipe clean. The mat offers a lot of functions for the price and makes a great gift.

    I had seen this DJ table raved about after the kick and play piano stage (iykyk) and decided to give it a shot! What surprised me was that my 2 year old LOVES it and barely wants to share with baby sister who I intended it for. It’s light enough that he has no problem pushing or carrying it around. So if you have multiple littles, this is a great toy for them to play with together as there’s plenty of things to push from all sides. It’s the perfect size for sitters and will be great with legs when learning to stand. FP always holds up for us. Came with batteries and was extremely easy to assemble (and dissemble when I decided to take the legs off). My only reason for a 4/5 is I wish the yellow pad with numbers 1-6 allowed each button to be pushed separately instead of one big button, and I feel like it could have a couple more songs. My son LOVES the record and playback. Super cute. Overall this toy is a hit for the toddler and baby!

I give it a four because the volume isn’t very high even on the highest volume setting. Overall not bad for the price but I did get it on sale.
