I’m testing and comparing each function between this model and an Ecoflow, including the in/out USB-C PD port, QC3.0, the max negotiated current through each USB port, and how long the unit lasts under AC draw against competitors. I got a unit last week that seemed great but stopped responding to button presses and wouldn’t charge through the AC connector even though it recognized it (LED turned blue when it plugged in). This occurred after only about 15 minutes charging through the AC and USB-C ports combined. After that it would only charge through USB-C, but i thought it was just a weird temporary quirk. Then i went to power some low-watt devices I had through the AC ports and it either wouldn’t respond to button presses (any at all, even the display one), or when it did randomly respond it would come up properly, power the devices for about 10-20 minutes, then just quit. I couldn’t power the unit on again no matter what (it had only used about 15% of its battery), until it recognized USB-C charging and then came right back up- to where it showed it still had 85% life… then it’d run for about 20 minutes again and stop responding. Repeat. So i believed this was a faulty unit.I have a new one now that was working flawlessly for about a day, but again, the USB-C port seems to correspond to it doing really weird stuff. I plugged in my macbook to test its charge rate, and the LCD became extremely dim until it was blank (the Jackery battery was at 100%). Then i tried everything to get the LCD to work, including holding the LCD button for ~10 seconds which seemed to reset it (the manual doesn’t even mention that as a procedure which is the big issue, there’s zero troubleshooting or functional steps outlined). But the LCD then reverted to this pulsing backlight pattern, with all the LCD digits/icons on at all times. There’s nothing i could do to get out of that screen until, again, you try to recharge it through USB-C (AC does nothing). Then the LCD dims back to blank. If you insert the AC charger during USB-C charge it actually restores functionality perfectly for about 30 seconds and then goes back either the dim blank screen or the pulsating-all-icons-on screen.I’ve tried this all with PD compliant USB-C chargers, from trusted manufacturers like Anker and RAVpower. I’ve tried multiple cables, never connected any equipment even near the max wattage ratings, all my USB-C devices are 60w or below, tried my Macbook, cell phones, etc. and these units just do not respond/work when USB-C gets involved- they seem to permanently fail, and because there’s no documented unit reset steps out there I have no way to try and reset/get the Jackery to restart and running again. After it bricks in this way, I have never successfully gotten the unit to work correctly again. It can charge with the blank-dim LCD surprisingly (after 30 minutes of troubleshooting I realized this), but then you have no idea what the input/output or battery level is- and I have yet to get it to recharge- so functionally, it’s still pretty useless in this deprecated state.I genuinely think this is a super cool device and want to keep it- it’s quiet, compact, rated 5 stars on Amazon, is super efficient on AC power (the inverter lasts more than 30% longer than the Ecoflow I’m testing while powering through AC), but need help in understanding how to get it working because as of now I couldn’t trust it camping or anywhere else if I know it’ll just stop responding for some reason whenever it feels like it- and USB-C is the most important feature so I can’t just not use that port.I would love to learn how to fix this issue and keep this unit, but there are no documented troubleshooting steps, the manual is absolutely bare minimum in terms of operating instructions, and this is now my second (so two out of two) faulty unit I’ve received. I believe the USB-C in/out port is at the root of these issues but am not sure.

The manual warns that this ‘solar generator’ is ‘not to be used outdoors under any circumstances.’ Really.It is also not meant for temps that exceed 40C (104F), which means it is not safe to use or store in a vehicle. Heck, the power cord got hotter than that while charging it (indoors)!The AC outlets are not powerful enough to run any small electronics that I tried. Might be able to recharge a phone with them, but that’s what the USB power outlet is for. So don’t be fooled by the fact that there are 2 AC outlets, I found them to be useless.I didn’t open or try out the solar panel as I was fairly sure that it wouldn’t get enough sunlight to charge from the required indoor location.Returning was more difficult than it should have been; even though the 2 parts were shipped separately, they only provided one return label. When I requested another, it was with a different shipper and the two parts were credited to me separately.

What a monster of a battery pack. I use it for my astrophotography rig, it literally last me 3 nights in a row. 2 astrophotography cameras, a focuser, and the mount, at most 20% for a whole night imaging session. Just what I needed.

While I got the solar set up for my adult camping kids, I snagged to quick charge one to aid with christmas lights.

I own one of each of the following Jackery Portable Power Stations: Explorer 300, 500 and 1000.Both 300 and 500 are pieces of junks. The 300 was so weak that it was simply not strong enough to support any electronic devices such as wireless router or laptops for more than a few hours. Worse yet, the first time I need the 300, it died on me and I had to return it for a replacement. The first 500 worked okay for a year or two, then it died and I got a replacement which also died. It was simply not dependable and again not strong enough for anything. You are much better off buying a small generator from one of the wholesale warehouses which give you more juice when there is a power outage. I did end up getting one for about what I paid for a 500.The 1000 is probably the only one that is reliable but it costs a fortune. I mainly used it to hook up our tankless water heat when there is a power outage (our gas tankless water heater needs electricity to light up the gas and keeps it running). It will allow it to run for a few days.The other problems in getting these Jackery power stations are:(1) Amazon.com can send you one of these Jackery power station but you cannot return any of them via FedEx or UPS for any reasons because the batteries in them are hazardous material and you are not allowed to ship them back even with the proper warning signs were placed on the return boxes (I only found out when I tried to return them);(2) When I returned the defective power stations to Jackery for replacements under warranty, they had to provide me with a postage paid label with a person’s address (not the company’s) and nobody wanted to return them if a hazardous labels were put on the shipping boxes. That should tell you something;(3) You may be better off buying them directly from Jackery’s web sit since they did not charge sales taxes and you do not need to register the products separately;(4) Amazon only gave one month’s return time which is simply too short.The pros:Jackery did have decent warranties for their power stations and they did not give me a hard time for return but it did take more than a week to get a replacement.

Wont even run a coffee pot. Drained from 100% charge to 32% while 2 phones were plugged in overnight. Listening to whoever makes these reviews absolutely ruined my 2 week camping trip. Wouldn’t ever buy this unless you want a $500 phone charger. 100% complete waste of $. And haven’t even got to the solar panels.. which was the “only” concern I thought I had. Hope ya listen to me and not the Chinese review panel.

It charges quickly, powerful, about 80% in two hours and I can run multiple devices at once without any issues with no noise. I got this portable power station to send to my family in Venezuela, where power cuts happen often, and it’s been a real help for them. It charges fast and holds power for a good amount of time. The M82 portable supply gives a quick charge in a relatively short amount of time. It can charge multiple devices at one time. Its lite in weight and small so i can bring it fishing to charge my phone, radio, fan or whatever else i need. It has two plug outputs w/ one having a prong and one without. Four USB ports, two of those are fast charging, a type C and a DC output but haven’t used that one yet. Has a flashlight built in with three levels thar have come in handy at night when I’ve used outside. When I charged my Laptop, the internal fan kept the power station from getting hot. Charged my laptop from 83% to 100% in under 20 to 30 min which was good for me. Over all I’m very happy with it so far and am looking into getting solar panels next to recharge the station when out all day. Worth the money compared to other power stations that are a bit costly.

All is ok, very dependable and easy to use even it is small. It gives power up to the very last charged. Slightly pricey compared to other mini solar generator and little bit slow in terms of charging. Overall everything is ok but i need more way bigger in terms of my needs and wants.

I got this in August 2024 and it is only now January 2025 and it doesn’t seem to be working correctly. I just tried to use it to power my laptop while it itself is plugged in and it was fine for a little while but all of a sudden stopped doing anything and won’t power the laptop any longer. I have the Marbero battery plugged in and I pressed the Power button and then pressed the Outlet button. Like I said, it was fine, the blue battery bars were full and the red plug picture lit up. Now the blue battery bars is only showing one, it’s blinking, and when I try and turn on the Outlet button it blinks red quickly but doesn’t do anything. I’ve checked the outlet this device is plugged into and it’s working fine and other things that are plugged into the same outlet are working no problem.I originally gave this a great review and I thought it was great and very helpful but it hasn’t even been a year and I’ve only used it I think two other times (aside from when I first got it to test it out) so I’m really annoyed by this. Thankfully, my shifts are only two hours at a time and neither my router nor laptop are all that power-hungry. But any time that I’m not able to work that’s time that I’m not getting paid for and that’s obviously a problem. My power has gone out more than once while I’ve been working so I’ve been looking for something like this for a while and it happened again recently so I decided enough was enough. I got this hoping that I can prevent losing any work time (and money.)I’ve looked at other, similar power stations, but they were either way too expensive, way too big/overkill for my needs, or both. This one was inexpensive and had a coupon and it seems to be able to do what I need. I especially like that it has regular outlets for things that have two or three prongs (like my modem/router). In addition to that it’s got multiple USB ports, a USB C port (for my laptop), and even has a port where you can plug in a car charger (it also includes the car charger adapter thing). In addition to that, there is a big flashlight that is nice and bright and has three brightness levels and an SOS mode. If you do use the flashlight keep in mind that aside from that eating up power from the device, the brightness that you have it set to will determine how long you’re able to use it. In other words, if you have it at the brightest level you won’t be able to use it as long as if you have it at the dimmest level. The same thing goes for what you’re charging with it. If you’re using it to charge a phone you will get more use out of it than if you’re using it to power a computer. Different devices use different amounts of power so it’s hard to say how much of a charge you will get from what you’re using it for.The entire device is quite small, smaller than I realized when purchasing it, and is also very light. I think it would be useful to have when road-tripping, camping, backpacking, etc. because of how tiny and portable it is.I also want to point out that you can get a compatible solar panel to use with this which can help charge it and recharging it via a wall outlet will bring you up to around 80% in about two hours. Now, there are others out there that will charge to around 80% in less time, but they’re also quite a bit more money. This one also has these safety features that I wanted to point out: Short-circuit Protection, Low-voltage Protection, Over-current Protection, Over-voltage Protection, Over-load Protection. So in simple terms, you don’t need to worry about it lol.

I picked up this little power station because I wanted something simple for camping and small projects. It is pretty compact and easy to carry, kind of like a chunky lunchbox. The design is nothing fancy but it feels sturdy enough to toss in the car without worrying. I like that it has a regular plug plus USB ports so I can charge a mix of stuff.I used it to keep my phone, a small fan, and a light going on a weekend trip. It handled all that without any drama. The fan only ran a few hours but honestly that is expected since it is a small unit. Charging it back up was simple with the wall plug, though I might grab a solar panel down the line.There are a couple small cons. The battery does not last long if you plug in bigger things, so do not expect it to power a fridge or anything crazy. The little screen is also kind of plain and does not give a lot of info. Still, for basic stuff it does the trick.Overall, I am happy with it for what it is. It makes camping and power outages less of a headache and gives me a backup without taking up a ton of space. This is a handy addition to my cordless tool set. I use it to charge everything from phones, lights, etc. I have even powered a laptop. I haven’t used it with power tools but suspect it will work in a pinch. The light is a nice addition. It’s compact and light weight and will be good for any power outages too. Time will tell how long it lasts but overall i am quite happy with this product.

This thing is genius!!! Used it for a trunk or treat blow up and it’s worked perfectly!!! Highly recommend getting one of these!! I haven’t Thad to use it for longer than two hours but it was still going strong! So I’d say the battery life is excellent. Not noisy at all! Light weight and very easy to travel with. So far it’s super durable. The voltage seems to work great!

1st unit shipped had a loose screen inside the unit, when you lightly shake it you can hear that the circuit board was loose and screw was rattling. This is a serious safety issue with 550 watts of power. The box was sealed and it was a new unit, so it was a manufacturing issue.Replacement unit came next day as a used unit, with scratches on the top, and the box was opened and lightly mangled.I returned the unit, since I paid for a new unit, not a used one. 2 things were not acceptable with the design, #1 the battery holders were 2 close to each other, so I can only use one new physically larger 8AH battery, with a physically smaller 9AH battery next to it, no space for 2 larger 8AH batteries. I ran a quick test for a small 40 watt load of LED lamp, well below the 550 watt rating, and the super loud fan would repeatably kick on every so many minutes. #2 This fan is too loud for indoor use, if I used it to power a TV during an outage. Summary: like the fact that it is 550 watt and pure sine wave, but the design needs to correct these 2 issues. When working the fan is too loud, the product spec does not show the decibels from fan. In comparison, the original Milwaukee 175 watt unit runs super quiet, granted much smaller wattage.I ordered a different unit, from another supplier, My time is also valuable and I should not test units for Amazon and play the return game, over and over, where is the quality control?

Have owned this for a year. Bought it with the intentions of using the flashlight and chargers for phones in an event of power outage since my tools are Milwaukee brand. Also wanted to run a bedroom box fan to continue to sleep on short outages. Does power the box fan at a strange speed I’m sure due to power constraints and does everything I want it to.Only thing I have found I do not like is if your battery isn’t fully charged or you use a smaller battery it doesn’t always want to turn on. I am not sure if it takes a certain amount of watts or amps to work or not but so far we are happy with the purchase.

First thing I want to say as I was wondering is it can run on a single battery.I believe this to be a pure sine wave as my cheap ossiliscope appears to show one (a competitors was very square). The fuzzier sine wave picture is under load from a 200 watt led (really 200 watts not equal to 200 watt incandescent). I don’t think that’s bad and it worked great for testing my propane tube heaters. Hz was 59.8 and voltage was 116.I have done no testing on the USB outlets.Edit 10/18/25While using this inverter to test a low powered device I learned that if the inverter does not detect a high enough load for a certain amount of time (did not time) it will shut itself down. I tested it after realizing this and a 30 watt load would keep it from turning off (have yet determined the lowest load needed). This is a good feature to save your battery but can be an annoyance in some cases. A work around would be to find the lowest load needed to keep it running and run that with your load that is too low to keep inverter on. Will post lowest load needed if I figure it out.

Would definitely buy this brand again!I don’t know if I got a bad one or what but it can’t even run a single strand of Led bulbs drawing 2.4 watts. Didn’t even last ten minutes without over heating and shutting off.

I occasionally need to use my jig saw where no outlet is available. I did not want to to buy the tool only, so I gave this option a try. Works like a champ with the jig saw. Also use to run a fan to cool riding lawn mowers before covering them. I have used it with Dewalt batteries and compatibles. I would recommend to a friend.

So far so good. I have this sitting on the hood of an 81 Toyota pickup for the past 3 weeks in Phoenix. It has dealt with the heat no problem, made it through two thunderstorms, and has kept the battery topped up. I usually start the truck once every weekend, and let it run for an hour or so to charge, so this saves me the trouble. Easy to use, plug and play essentially, just stuck it to the hood, and ran the wires through the front grille. For as inexpensive as it is, it has held up well. Indicator light is difficult to see during the day, but works properly. And most importantly it has not overcharged, or discharged the battery.

This has been keeping my 2 boat batteries fully charged going on 3 years. I have it zip-tied to the top of the T-Top and continuously clipped to the posts of the 2 batteries.

Doesn’t work on my Tahoe. Solar panel has been sitting on my dashboard in the sun for weeks. I have it plugged into the cigarette lighter–which does receive power w/o key-on. Dead battery this morning.Updating review. The 7.5Watt model did not provide enough power to keep my Tahoe charged. Which I don’t fully understand as an old vehicle shouldn’t have an excessive power draw at rest. I’m changing the stars for my review because of POWOXI’s exceptional customer service. I received immediate attention solely because of my poor review of the product. We exchanged messages back and forth for a few days describing my issue, my results/images of the tests I ran, etc. (0.162 amps @ 17.29 Volts). POWOXI agreed that the 7.5 Watt model should have sufficed for my vehicle but suggested a higher watt model and offered me a full refund of the 7.5 watt–even even outside the 30 day amazon return policy.I just purchased a higher watt model from them.

This one worked great after trying two other ones that either drained my car battery or was hard to install outside. I wanted it for my F150 that isnt driven often I has a dash cam and a parasitic slow voltage loss somewhere. Things to know solar chargers really need to have direct light to panel, even mounting inside a car on dashboard will lose 2 to 4 volts. On a typical day about 20 volts come from the panel. As someone else mentioned going through the controler it does lose 2 volts so now 18 volts leaves controler to battery. I was getting 1.5 amps to battery. Controller i feel works well shutting panel off at night and not allowing a power drain. Seams to keep battery at a constant 12.8 volts for me. I have never had charger say fully charged even with car running. I actually moaned mine to the rear bed and ran wires under car to inside visor for my controler and hard wired to battery.

I purchased to trickle / maintain my generator battery. I hooked up the leads to a DEAD battery, “set it and forget it” IYKYK!!I don’t know how long it took or exactly when in the last four weeks, but yesterday the Charged Light was glowing. Generator fired right up. Impressive!I have the panel on a southern exposure. I live in a neighborhood with several old, established, very tall trees. So the panel is not in direct sunlight for too long. But the Solar light is lit all day.My generator is stored in a plastic yard storage box so the electronics are protected from the rain. Solar panel is mounted to the side of the box and lives there rain or shine. No issues.I found this was a good value for the money and it exceeded my expectations.

This was my first (& second & third) Solar panel and definitely aided in my learning experience! The 30W panel with MPPT worked exactly as advertised. It trickle charged my LiFePO4 battery as expected, and the easy mount was great to work with! So why 4 stars?First, there are no specifications provided for the MPPT controller. Granted, support was amazing and sent me the full spec sheet but some of that information should be included here, up-front. Primarily, the description needs to include what the max solar load the MPPT controller can support (50W). This leads me to my second reason — there is very little room to grow!If you’re looking for that slow trickle charger with manual feedback, this is perfect! However, I found that, in real-world use, I needed 80-100W of solar power to do what I needed so this controller just wouldn’t cut it for me (had to buy another unit instead).Overall, while knowing what I know now, I would have never purchased this FOR MY PROJECT. But it doesn’t change the facts about this unit — it is a good product with a great company backing it (I should know – I have 2x 30W panels and a 20W panel in use!).Summary:Pros:- Good build.- Long power cords with SAE connectors.- Lightweight, angled mounting hardware.- MPPT controller works as advertised.- Great for trickle-charging batteries [for long-term storage].- GREAT customer support!Cons:- No real room for growth.- Company doesn’t sell JUST panels (must be in a kit).- Controller doesn’t offer any remote monitoring.

I bought this for my RV battery. It does what it says. It’s a compact size. I reccomend it and will buy more. I like it.Cons…1. They can’t be connected to other solar panels, unless the other panel has a daisy chain.2. It’s firm, but still a little delicate. If you keep your box and packing materials to store it in, you’ll be fine.3. This can really only be used to recharge RV or golf cart batteries, and like devices with like or lesser power batteries.4. It is weather proof, but I wouldn’t leave it out for long periods in summer heat or freezing conditions.Pros…1. The compact size is great if needed.2. It comes with everything needed to do the job.3. Detailed, in-color instruction manual.4. Packed well for shipping.5. It’s aluminum, so the frame doesn’t get too hot.

I purchased the SOLPERK Solar Panel Kit 20W 12V, Solar Battery Trickle Charger Maintainer to charge the battery on my lawn tractor, which sits in a shed without electric service. So, the battery didn’t seem to maintain a full charge between uses and sometimes wouldn’t turn the engine over. I installed this yesterday to help maintain the lawn tractor battery in full capacity. The installation is pretty simple, with a bracket to hold the solar panel provided. Just a note, the bracket can only be mounted in a horizontal position to support the solar panel and provide directional control for the panel to face the sun. Installing the bracket vertically, will only allow the solar panel to be turned left and right and will be perpendicular to the sun if mounted on a vertical post or wall. There is about 6′ of wiring to the controller which connects to the panel. The controller requires no programming by the user. Connect the controller to the 12V battery (battery clamps provided with unit) then plug it in to the solar panel and three lights will tell you everything. The blue light (on top of the others) tells you the panel is in the sunlight and providing normal voltage. The second light is red and will tell you that it is charging the battery. The third light (green) appears only when the battery is charged, which means the battery has 14.2 volt charge. It comes with a set of wires to actually screw down on battery posts. So far, the unit seems to be working and has charged my 12V battery fully! No need to remove the connections when charged, as the controller will prevent it from overcharging the battery. I don’t know about longevity of the product, the controller is supposed to be waterproof but I keep it inside with the lawn tractor. Other than keeping the solar panel clean with a damp towel, and the battery clamps clean, there isn’t much more maintenance required, the instructions say! So far, I do like the unit and being able to keep my lawn tractor battery at full charge! Easy installation!

Box took a beating and had a couple of corner dents, but the panel itself was unharmed thanks to the thick foam inserts SOLPERK used. Honestly, I’d rather have a tougher panel than pretty cardboard.Bottom line: If you need a set-and-forget 20W maintainer for a car, boat, tractor, gate opener, or deer feeder, grab this one. At this price point nothing else even comes close in build quality. Already ordered a second one for the RV.Highly recommended – SOLPERK just earned a permanent spot on my “buy again” list.

Charged my dead battery in a a few hours. My quad was low and would not start hooked up for 2 hours in the evening next day was cloudy but still got a charge. Plan on mounting it on the equipment shed and running to various piece of equipment.

*** update*** one of my best purchases! Changed it from four stars to five because I had not had it very long. This thing is fantastic! I have an older 2000 4 Runner where if I don’t have a stronger battery like an AMD or EFG the battery is dead in three days without driving. There’s a constant known drain on these Toyota’s. The stronger batteries last about three weeks before they start to slowly disintegrate in charging. After having to get a second EFG battery the mechanic down the street told me to get a solar charger. I read lots of reviews and this is the one that I decided on. I had my portable jumper with me today prepared for the battery to not be working because I literally have not driven it in at least three months! I thought no way!?? But yes, it started up like a perfect brand new battery. I brought the charger on my errands because I thought maybe when I stopped it will discharge but no, it started right up again! I love this thing! Remember if you’re gonna let your car sit to have a full tank of gas for the Health of the tank*****I like that the size is not overly obtrusive, and it’s got plenty of length in the cords which is a huge plus for me as it doesn’t limit where and how I decide to connect the solar panel to my battery. That being said, I have an older 2000 Toyota 4Runner and it’s one of the models that does not work with the cigarette lighter which my sister said to use. Her husband used to have a collection of cars including Ferraris and $400,000 Porsches etc. all on trickle chargers but unfortunately I tried that mode and it will only connect while the engine is running which defeats the purpose! The small clamps are covered in cheap plastic and just barely fit around my battery terminals but they seem to work and send a signal. The third option doesn’t look like it goes with my traditional type of (EFB) battery even if I unscrew the bolts and put it underneath. I’m not sure so I’m going to have to ask my mechanic because the kind that could just attach to your terminals without clamps. I could leave on and just disconnect and connect at will. The photos show a different type of battery for that straight wire connection so it looks like I am stuck with the clamps. I bought a 4 pack of round Dyi…?(you can find it by searching rubber coated magnets ) that won’t rust or hurt my car and actually attach strongly to car. I read a lot of reviews on a lot of different magnets and many of these magnets won’t even stick to stainless steel. You can’t really attach them to this all on their own so what I did was I glued two of the magnets that are the exact size of the suction cups and added them to one end/side of the back of the board. This magnetized the board very strongly to the top of my roof and I was able to put up an angle on my roof rack. (See pictures ) It’s not going anywhere! I don’t know if I would want to attach it to my window as I’m not a big believer in suction cups holding in extreme circumstances like the magnets would . I have every confidence that these magnets will work through my car cover when I put that on. I sure wish I could’ve used the cigarette lighter but cannot so don’t expect it to necessarily work on your car or think that it’s defective because it doesn’t light up on your model. It’s charging right now so I will get back in a week or two to see if it stays fully charged. I know some people are recommending that you buy a battery status contraption for another 40+ dollars that if you get Bluetooth and you stand within 30 feet of your car it will give you the status of your battery health. I don’t know if I need to go to that extreme. It’s for a car that I don’t drive that often, either of them that often, so I always have to worry about the battery. I sure hope for the price that this last for a while and from some reviews it seems to kind of be hit or miss so check the status light fairly frequently.

UPDATE: My initial review of this Suner Power BC-12W-Pro solar battery charger was one star, because it just sat there and did nothing and neither I nor Amazon could get any response from Suner. I suspect that Amazon didn’t really contact Suner, because once Suner saw my review they contacted me and have been VERY responsive, even on nights and weekends. Mason of Suner Power walked me through some very simple tests requiring nothing more than a digital voltmeter and some sunshine and explained where I had erred. His diligence, my patience, the tests, and my better understanding of how to use and what to expect from a small solar panel resolved every issue efficiently and gave me faith in the company and its products.The initial problem with the panel was that it refused to even detect any of four automotive batteries I hooked it directly to via Suner’s battery clamps. Their instructions didn’t make it clear that the panel must be in sunshine just to detect a battery. Once Mason explained that to me, the panel came alive in the sun as verified by its informative brightly blinking LED.The next problem was that the panel still couldn’t detect a fully charged battery, let alone a marginally charged one. The third and most frustrating problem was that I could not contact Suner Power. The support and technical email links on their website did not work and Amazon’s call to Suner on my behalf got no response in more than a week. When frustration morphed into anger, I ripped Suner Power a new one in a one-star review here. THAT got immediate, clear, very helpful, and ultimately very effective responses from Suner. That bumped my rating to two stars, but I still couldn’t get any … you know … CHARGING from my charger.Suner/Mason then very generously sent me a pre-tested replacement and has continued to work closely with me to perform simple, sensible performance tests on both the original and replacement panels. Still, many hours of comparison on multiple vehicles in various stages of charge in various lighting conditions produced negligible charging.I have graduate degrees in engineering including many courses in electronics. I’ve been an avid automotive DIYer for many decades. I’ve installed big rooftop solar systems on two RVs and fixed automotive electrical problems that left me stranded and subsequently stumped dealers and independent garages. Yet this time I was stumped. Where does that leave the average consumer?I finally found the “secret” to making the panels work: Hook them up and let them sit in blazing sun for half an hour. Only then did the voltage start to climb, ultimately to a reassuring 13V or so. Once that happened, I switched panels and the second one, the one that initially couldn’t detect a battery, quickly detected the battery and hit 13V. I anticipate that the Suner Power 12W panel will work even better on the small 18aH jet ski battery mine is intended for.At this point I suggested to Mason that adding comments addressing these three additional caveats in their otherwise thorough instructions might save him and his customers a lot of time and angst:1. Even for a panel to simply detect a battery, the panel must be in sunshine.2. A quick operational test is insufficient. It may take up to an hour for a panel to boost a fully operational but marginally charged automotive battery’s voltage to 13 volts, even in bright sunshine.3. To contact Suner Power, customers must manually type [email protected] or [email protected] into an email address window. Clicking on those links on the Suner Power website does not work.My only remaining dilemma was how many stars Suner has earned at this point. Just 3, because even though the panel works fine now, an initial glitch and shortcomings in the instructions thwarted the anticipated no-brainer plug and play? Naah … maybe 4 because it now works due to my better understanding? OTOH, how about 5 because of Mason’s outstanding, and these days rare, support? Yeah, let’s do 5, and hope that Suner Power adds a couple of comments to their instructions. That’s a cheap and hopefully helpful fix.

I purchased this solar charger 15 months ago. It worked flawlessly until recently where is stopped functioning. I sent a note to Suner Power where they were very responsive. Frank at Suner Power is currently working on getting me a replacement unit. The warranty period is 12 months, but they are doing there best for a replacement. I would purchase again based on there resposiveness in helping me. Update Suner Power shipped me a new unit. Great Company to deal with. Very responsive.

For my Jeep that gets driven only once a week. I use it as a battery tender, keep it plugged into the unswitched cargo area 12 volt plug. Solid green light tells you when the batter is fully charged, and the circuit shuts off to prevent overcharging supposedly. Well, my battery has not exploded yet, so I guess it works. 4 stars because the suction cups do an OK job of holding this to the window. I’ve accidently hit the roll down switch for the window a couple times, and the suction cups did break away from the panel, that’s better than breaking entirely. Overall I think it works, and hopefully will prolong the battery life, the Jeep has 2 batteries.

i maintain a lot of vehicles for myself and family. many sit for months on end like atvs, motorcycles, heavy equipment, trailers with dump and winches, and extra or project vehicles.it’s way too many batteries to let sit and die and then have to replace year after year.I’ve bought around 15 of these chargers over the last 5 years and they all still work great! keeping the batteries in great shape and vehicles ready to work or play! I’ve built a few mounts to sheds or storage units and ran extensions to reach anywhere i need to go. it’s nice to plug them in after use and forget about it.

I bought it for the lower price, safety features and positive reviews. I am impressed by its quality and usefulness. I am a van lifer and this jump starter is a must have! It jumps my van battery faster than using another vehicle does. It’s super simple to use, fast, safe and reliable. I was told to get one that is twice the price but couldn’t afford it. This one is just as good and does the job perfectly. If you’re considering purchasing this jump starter I highly recommend it.

When I took the AstroAI S8 out of the packaging, I looked at the unit and said to myself “you’re kidding me this will never work but whatev’s I’ll give it a try”. Boy was I wrong, this jump starter nails it every time.Early am, I took my dogs to the beach, returned, opened the lift gate, the pups jumped in and that was it, out of nowhere the battery died…..literally nothing was working. Got a jump and was back on the road. Back home, left it over night same thing. Luckily, I thought this would be a good time to buy a jump starter, cause you never know. I’d been toying with it for a while and already have a tire inflator/pressure monitor as a ‘just in case’. Honestly, I didn’t expect this to happen again but it did.My car is only a few years old, it’s a BMW X5 4.0i. The jump charger not only needs to be able to crank & spark the engine but power-up all the monitors/heads-up display/driving/safety/management/seat passenger detectors/climate/level & motion sensors and way more stuff/systems in tandem with cranking the engine. By-Jove….it can do all of it, the car starts without any hesitation. Unfortunately, from a dead battery, the default is for all the electronics to fire up at once, so there’s no ‘lite start’ option. I was really surprised.Useability is a sinch. Plug-in the jumper cables to the AstroAI S8 unit, pop the hood, connect the cables to the vehicle contacts (a tiny green LED by the Boost button start flashing), press the ‘Boost’ button at the base of the cables, get behind the wheel and start the car. I couldn’t tell the difference between the jump start and regular start. It can even start the car with less than 75% charge. I can expect at least 4-5 starts from the device. It charges from a standard USB port (USB A) and when it’s fully topped-up it stops charging.I’m not sure if this makes a difference but I should point-out the car was jumped from designated contact points, not the battery. Also, as soon as I press the ‘boost’ button I can hear the car come to life and go through some sort of boot-up. By the time I get behind the wheel, my key is detected, everything is as normal and start the vehicle. There was an instance whereby the alarm went off, I just hit ‘unlock’ on the fob and that did the trick.On the downside, the jumper cables seem a little short (I had no problem reaching my car’s contact points) and you will have no problems jumping the battery directly. Although, I’ve see in some vehicles the contact points are more than 18in apart, this will require some sort of extension.As a blanket synopsis: The AstroAI S8 works great, it easily starts a super systems-power hungry vehicle w. a 3.0 inline 6.

Easy to use, charging is easy with USB cable included. Does take a while to charge if you let it get to 25%, has boost feature if you need more juice if battery needs it. Portable comes with a bag for storage fits in your hand, cables are right length and charger tell you if it’s connected properly great safety feature gives a a peace of mind. Remember it’s great power ln a small package

Several times in a matter of a few months my battery on my Toyota Tundra was dead leaving me stranded in the desert. When I was considering a car battery jumper that would work for my Toyota Tundra and my wife’s Honda CRV, I wanted a jumper that would not fail. My friend had a different brand I had to use to jump my truck but after some research I decided to try this unit. I purchased my first one in Jan. 2025 and tried it out on my totally dead battery on my Tundra. It immediately started my truck so I drained the battery again and it jumped my truck the second time. I was sold. So I purchased my second one in Feb. 2025 for my wife’s car. To ensure the battery pack’s are fully charged, I confirm the charge every 90 days. I am very impressed. Peace of mind is priceless. I will tell you their customer service is excellent and very responsive. I would recommend this car starter to anyone.

Quick recharge and help to start an engine

This is a great jump starter. I used it on my mom’s car two times in 2 days. Her battery went back so needed to jump it each time. I wanted to test the battery and the power. It was on 100% the first time and then right after the jump it went to 75%. The next day I jumped it again and the power went to 50% and it started right up again. I did charge it after that and a quick charge within it seemed like 30-40 minutes if that. You want to make sure it is charged over 75% for more powerful cars. My mom had a v6 SUV. Good buy.

I read a lot of reviews and watched many videos before buying the Ecoflow Delta2.My main use for this Delta2 is for overnight camping trips and use as a back-up power in case of black-out conditions to run some equipment like Refrigerator and be able to heat food using the microwave.Delta2 doesn’t have the battery capacity like Delta Pro but with a good solar panel it can definitely come handy when required. One can always add an additional battery that again works seamlessly to extend the battery capacity or buy the Ecoflow Smart Generator.I was debating between Bluetti EB70s and Ecofow Delta2.The reason I bought Delta 2 over Bluetti was the battery capacity. Delta 2 provides 1024WH as compared to the 716WH from the EB70s. Delta 2 met the power requirements that I was looking for. I could not find any offering by Bluetti in the range of 1000WH capacity. Delta 2 was of course more expensive than Bluetti but the surge power (also called X-BOOST by Ecoflow) is really high. So running a microwave for a short time or a coffee machine at a campsite or picnic is not an issue at all. I bought a combo pack (Delta 2 and solar panel). More about this combo later in the review.The other reason was the 5 year warranty that comes with the Ecoflow Delta2 vs 2 years for Bluetti. Some models from Bluetti do offer 4 years but were expensive for my use.Below are a few things I like about Ecoflow Delta2 after using it for sometime.1) Construction – This is a solid built product. The bottom edges have these rubber bumpers for extra protection. The form factor is designed well to fit in the car. I hope the handles were not protruding out as they are now and were more integrated into the main box. The box is strong and one can easily put heavy items on the top without any issues. With the LFP battery and 3000 battery cycles, the Delta 2 will last forever.2) Display – It’s big and clear. Very easy to read even on a bright day. All the connections that are turned on are shown on the display even when a load is not connected but for USB only when a load is connected, the icon is displayed. Not sure why only the USB icon behaves like that. Not an issue at all but just wondering why a different behavior as compared to other connections.3) App and Connectivity – The phone app works great and it’s very easy to use. There are so many options that you can set via the app. Connecting the Delta 2 to the app was a breeze. It connects to WiFi without any issue and also to bluetooth. The app shows correct data 99.9% of the time. Once in a while you have to refresh (close/open) the app to get the latest data. It is very rare but I did notice it.When the WiFi is available, the Delta 2 connects via WiFi. If there is no WiFi connection, it automatically switches to Bluetooth connection. The connection is just seamless and you are always connected to the Delta 2.4) Charging – Delta 2 can charge at a whopping 1200W to be ready from 0% to 100% in about just 80 minutes. The fans do kick-in to dissipate all the heat generated during this fast charging. I personally charge the unit at 500 W with fan running but much less noisier and may be better for the battery life.The solar charging can go up to 500 W. I don’t have enough solar panels to check that max limit but this can be a really handy feature during a blackout conditions or with limited hours of sun during camping.One can charge the battery before leaving camping or any other work. Charge while driving from the 12V DC outlet in the car (Also known as the Cigarette lighter port) and the battery will be 100% when you reach your camp/work site.5) Output Connections – There are more than enough connections that one can use, in my view. With a massive 1800 W peak capacity and 2700 W of surge capacity, I think you can run almost any home appliance with this Delta 2. The provided ports like USB A, USB C, Power Outlets and 12 V (Car type) are good to power any device you may have.Now coming to the combo I got. I bought the combo of Delta 2 and Solar Panels that were rigid. I was not happy with the size and format of rigid panels so I reached the Ecoflow support team. Even though I made that choice and now wanted to get portable panels, the Ecoflow team worked with me. The support team was amazing with quick responses and answering all the questions I had. It was good to see Ecoflow believes in good customer service that still cares about their customers. One of the best customer service teams I have worked with.One option that I would like Ecoflow to add will be to set the discharging and charging percentages even when connected to the power outlet. I would like to connect a solar panel for charging and connect my garage refrigerator to Delta 2 and use the battery power. If the battery falls below a certain level (let’s say 30%) it can charge via the power outlet, else the refrigerator can keep running via the solar power. This option is provided when you connect a Ecoflow smart generator to Delta 2 but not when connected to a power outlet. I hope Ecoflow will implement this feature in the future software update.

These power stations have really come a long way. You can now set schedules to turn them on and off. Turn on the Ecoflow Delta 3 Classic during peak hours when electricity is most expensive then off during off-peak hours all from the app! You can monitor usage and even get storm warnings too. With all these new features, it’s only a matter of time before we start calling them “smart” stations!The feature that caught my attention the most is the near-instant (<10ms) switchover when the power goes out essentially making the Ecoflow Delta 3 Classic a viable UPS backup power source. It gave me the idea to hook this power station up between my fridge and my van. Under normal conditions, the fridge would draw power from the van itself. But now if I turn off the van for any reason, the power station automatically kicks and continues to power the fridge! And when I turn the van back on, it again automatically switches back to drawing power from the van! I no longer have to get into the trunk where the fridge is and switch out the cables manually. It is all seamless and truly hands-off now! One less thing to worry about on my road trips!Beyond that, I really have to give props to Ecoflow. Right from the unboxing you can tell that you are getting a quality product. The tape sealing the box that holds the charging cable has a small flap at the edge to make it easier for you to peel it off. The charging cable itself is hefty and clearly labeled. The bag that holds the instruction manual is not made of just any cheap plastic but the kind of plastic that has that soft velvety touch to it. Even the foam inside the box is of high quality. It is soft, it doesn't make that grating noise when you handle it, and it doesn't break apart and have little bits flying all over the place.The Ecoflow Delta 3 Classic itself has two nice-sized handles at the top on each side making it much easier to lift--especially in tight spots like, say, the back of a minivan. Two generous non-skid pads cover the bottom of the power station. On the input side, there is a cover that swings up to open and that can be tucked right into the power station itself and out of the way. Also, the two three-pronged outlets are oriented on their sides to flare outward so that whatever you plug into them won't get in each other's way. It's just genuine thoughtful designs throughout.All of this might seem trivial at first, but when taken altogether, it shows that Ecoflow is a company that cares. They stand behind their products and you can rest assure that you are getting great value for your money.
