The HP 67XL black ink works exactly as it should—prints are clear, consistent, and hassle-free. My only concern is that it seems to run out faster than expected. I don’t print often, so it’s possible the ink is drying out between uses, but overall it performs well for basic home printing.

Does the job!

Quality is good but the ink runs out so fast – prints a little over 50 pages and needs to change.! Price is reasonable after buying inks from Ebay which does not work then found that they were expired… My HP printer also requires black ink but when both inks are in, it does not print so I only use this trip-color ink to print.

I barely use my printer. And these do not last long. I don’t know if they’re just cheap or what but I don’t even print out 20 pieces of paper and it reads that it’s low and I have to replace it. So these cartridges are cheap. I don’t think they are as advertised.

The cutter head sits nicely atop of the almost 4 gallon basket. The over all look is nice and clean. It functions well. The cutter runs an extra second after the paper runs through it. Thus, cleaning out the blades so there’s no build-up. The motor is almost quiet. This 6 sheet shredder is fun to use, and it’s fast. It feels heavy duty and has good quality for the price. We got the slightly used one for 10 bucks off of the new unit. Highly recommended! A +++

This was probably my very first Amazon Basics product. The overall product reviews are generally good and the price wise, it was fairly reasonable for a shredder with this kind of specs. It shreds very fast and does so very reliably as well. Our previous shredder basically reached the end-of-life and had to be replaced. This one is a bit smaller in size but I think that it performs much better. If you are looking for a shredder that performs well and is priced reasonably, I would highly recommend this one.

When I saw how small the box was, I was about to send it back. I am glad I didn’t because it is actually a very nice size and it is very heavy duty and very good quality. One of my best purchases on Amazon. It shreds amazingly. I’ve shredded papers, as well as all credit cards no issues at all very easy to use. You can place a bag in it if you want to or just dump it out in a bag very easy to use.

This is a good basic shredder for home use or a small business, for occasional use. It’s lightweight and easy to use, and it just works. It can’t handle too many pages at a time, maybe 3 max, but once it’s set on auto you can keep running pages through it. I’ve found it to be fast and efficient. It jammed once, probably too many pages, and took tweezers to get the last of it out. The instructions say its max run time is 3 minutes at a time but I’ve probably used it for longer than that and it’s been fine. Not for heavy office use but for occasional home use it’s great and you can’t beat the price.

I gave this little shredder quite the workout. It did very well. 6 sheets at a time clogged it, but never two was no problem. It got warm but never shut down. I recommend it.

Excellent! No problems. Empties easily. Shreds paper and credit cards with no problems. Stories easily. I keep it out bc I’m constantly shredding mail, and it blends easily with furniture. I also keep a small trash bag inside to make emptying even simpler. I have had mine for 3 years and I love it! I highly recommend!

The shredder function as needed. I have used it for several weeks now, and very easy to use. I just plug it in and started using it right away. I inserted about 6 pages and it worked without any issue it jamming. It works great and the material seems durable and its compact/average size. I liked the side window to see the about of accumulation on the inside.

Based on reading the other reviews here I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I think that’s because people are coming with different expectations. So here is where I’m coming from: my previous shredder was a $30 minimum-size shredder from a dollar store; it was functional and did the job for many years but recently it broke (some of the gears/brackets inside got bent/stripped). I shred maybe 40 pages worth of paper in a month and a lot of receipts, etc.I got the Amazon Basics Cross Cut Shredder 12 Sheet model. That’s maybe one size bigger than the previous shredder I got. It is just about the same noise level as most other non-commercial shredders I’ve used; it is not a fancy ultra-quite office shredder but it is also not too bad. If you are going to be shredding constantly you may want to go for something quieter, but if (like me) you are only shredding a few times a week, this is quite acceptable in my humble opinion.I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. Both the shredder and the bucket and made of thick plastic. They don’t feel premium but they also don’t feel flimsy or fragile at all. The packing materials were also pretty sturdy, so I don’t think it will break in transit.The speed of printing seems about on par with what I’ve seen in other printers. I’ve not tried to actually shred 12 sheets at a time, but I have shredded single thick trifolds printed on heavy paper (like the advertisements you get from banks), which it handled just fine.Overall, very satisfied.

Amazing quality prints! I was looking for a new photo printer that wasn’t too expensive and I highly recommend this printer! It is small and portable (I got a case as well to bring it with me to work). Printing is super easy, loading photo paper is a breeze, and changing the ink cartridge couldn’t be easier. I got this as a part of a “paper” anniversary gift and I’m (overall) very happy with it!Pros:- It prints pretty good quality photos- Easy to get up and running/set up- Seems to print around 10 (ish) photos before you need a new cart- Nice size- Easy to put a new cartridge in or more printer paperCons:- Does take a second before it starts printing- If scrolling for too long to find a photo, it will turn off and you have to reconnect the printer to your phone (though that could be seen as a pro as well if you forget to turn it off)- A bit annoying it connects through your wifi vs bluetooth because then you’re disconnected to wifi on your phone which can slow down scrolling on google photos or when using apps to make collages- Cuts off things in a photo vs fitting the photo to the size of photo sheetOverall very happy with this printer because it’s doing what I want it to do. The pictures I’ve attached are different in sizing and stuff because I’ll sometimes screenshot photos zoomed out on my iPhone so it prevents the printer from cutting things off (just incase you’re wondering how I got some of my photos to be like they are). I needed a home photo printer to add photos at the last minute for my Halloween gathering. I found this at a good price point and am very happy with the purchase. Arrived promptly and the quality of the photos is excellent – vibrant colors came through well. Easy to connect and function with my iphone. Compact but sturdy.

Of all the great deals to have for ink, this is one that I say not to pass up on. I say this because normally, if you only order one color cartridge, you’ll need the other one not too long after. It always happens to me every time. So if you want to avoid situations like that, I highly suggest looking for a bundle of both color cartridges just to stay on the safe side. Having said that, when I got my new printer, the minute I found out what kind of ink it took, I placed an order for this shortly afterwards. This was the one that was said to be compatible with my new printer at the time, and it was just right. When everything was installed, and I had to put these in for the first time, I saw these were the real deal, so they’re not knock offs posing as HP; they’re authentic. It’s not complicated to install them into my printer at all; very easy and straightforward with no hassle. After the installation, the printed pages I tested this on came out vibrant, just right, and worked alongside my printer with no problems. If you have an HP printer, or are looking for an HP printer, do check for the kind of compatible ink cartridges you need, and check them out here before going anywhere else. I received my ink in little to no time, and didn’t cost me as much as it would at other places.

This little label printer is great. The size is perfect and it is very easy to use once set up for the first time. Very portable and functional!! It is a thermal printer so dont expect any color printing out of it.

I love this thing!! So easy to connect to app. I label everything now. The print quality is good so long as you don’t make the text/image too small. The frames come out okay if they’re not too intricate but honestly not even a big deal. They have a lot of free fonts and images and u can also always upload ur own. Some u do have to pay for but u dont need them at all. All in all it was well worth my money. Perfect inkless printer!! No issue setting up or getting started!! Didn’t even have to read instructions!

This Nelko Label Maker Machine works better than I imagined it would, especially for the price. I love the different choices of designs options we get. I use the labels for many things around the house. I thought the best part was that we can connect it through bluetooth and its very user friendly! Print quality was clear. The size is convinient because I can take it with me to use anywhere.

I needed something quickly and was able to get this overnight, so I took a shot. I have printed 20+ labels using the app on my phone. This was super easy to setup, and the app is very user friendly. You can choose icons, change font, and alter alignment. The machine is roughly “back pocket” size, as I would call it. The quality of the labels that came with it are decently thick, seem to have good adhesive, and were very easily transferred from the paper to the material I was labeling. Overall, from grabbing the box off of my porch to printing my first label was less than 5min. Very happy with this machine.

The quality of the output of this device feels cheap but it does amazing things. the entire process is completely easy to setup. The Black Color quality is phenomenal. Makes so dang good labels for the price.

Love that ink is never a concern!Easy to setup, quick use, lots of cute graphic options, lightweight and minimal storage. There are plenty of free graphic options so I have not needed to pay any subscription fees for what I need, but those are available.Can use both white & clear labels and they stick well. I bought this to make labels for my son’s bottles for daycare. The app is easy to use and the labels are exactly what I needed. The labels are surprisingly durable and I’ve been able to use the same level four days in a row on his bottles. One label even made it through the bottle washer unscathed!The color is also great and matches my son’s nursery colors.Overall I’d recommend this since it’s simple and easy to use.

3M Scotch is the acknowledged leader in adhesive films, among other products. It is reflected in these laminating pouches. Expect and receive bubble-free, ultra clear and firmly bonded laminations. The quality is extremely high and there is little worry of a bad lamination that could mangle the original. That is particularly important when laminating one-of-a-kind materials that are irreplaceable. Partnered with a 3M-Scotch laminator, the recommended thickness setting worked perfectly for these pouches. I have not found a need to run projects through twice. I purchased a big pack of pouches on Prime Day and was thrilled that the price rivaled junk commodity alternatives. Even so, for the limited volume of lamination work I do, I wouldn’t care if the price were double or even triple that of the competition. Buy quality and never worry.

I absolutely love these laminating sheets! They’re super clear, easy to use, and seal smoothly without bubbles. I use them for planner covers, business cards, and craft labels — they make everything look professional and durable. The thickness is just right — not too flimsy, not too stiff. They also cut nicely with my Cricut and trim well with scissors. Definitely great quality for the price. I’ll keep repurchasing for my small business projects!

I have ordered this pack of laminate sheets multiple times, and for many years as a teacher. The quality of the laminate is exceptional. The sheets adhere perfectly and protect paper products perfectly. The price point beats every local store around me!

I love these laminator sheets. We homeschool and also have a farm stand and it’s so nice to have these to protect sheets of paper. They seal really well, have never had problems with how they adhere. The size is perfect. You can laminate a regular sheet of paper and still have plenty of room.

My old (very old) laminator finally gave out so I bought this 3M model and some 3 and 4 mil pouches. I’m pleased with the purchase. The laminator does a nice job and doesn’t require a secondary sleeve to go through. You just put the paper into the laminating pouch and put it into the machine. I always flip it over and run it through a second time.

These laminating pouches feed perfectly every single time—no bubbles, no wrinkles, no drama. I’ve used them for kids’ artwork, planner pages, and random “important” papers I’ll probably never look at again, but at least they’re laminated. Crystal clear and durable. If you love pretending you run a tiny office out of your kitchen, these are a must.

No major issues but there is occasional “corner pieces” in between the pouches from the manufacturing process. Quality otherwise is Great. Thanks, and God Bless ❤️

Works well for small projects!

I didn’t expect such great quality from something this small. Setup was super easy — I connected it to my phone over Wi-Fi in minutes, and it also works perfectly with Bluetooth or a direct cable. I have used dozens of digital projectors over years. Everything from cheap models like this one, all the way up to commercial models costing thousands of dollars. Is it the brightest? No. Is it the quietest? No. Does it have the best key stone adjustments? No. Is the audio great? No. But, you aren’t going to find anything better at this price range. (I got mine 30% off during one of Amazon’s various Prime sales.) Honestly, I’m surprised how good this thing is for the price.A few things to know:The lens is, understandably, of simple construction. It needs to be directly in front of the screen to get maximum sharpness of focus. The size of the image depends on the distance from the projector to the screen. You’ll need to place the projector 12-13 feet from the screen to get it to project a 100 inch image. It can, however, provide a surprisingly sharp image at this distance. You can even get it to project an image around 110 inches without issue, if you have old tired eyes and don’t mind a slightly soft image. Another thing to keep in mind is that it is not terribly bright. Bright bulbs are expensive, and this model saves some money here. That being said, at night, in a garage or a dark room, it is very pleasing to look at. The sound from the device is not great. This is no surprise as there simply isn’t enough room inside this tiny box to include any sort of substantial speakers. Watching videos off a USB thumb drive is so easy on this device. Just plug and play. Would I use this as my primary video source? No, I would not. But the beauty of this device is how small, and cheap, it is. Very easy to carry around. My neighborhood is filled with young aspiring film makers, and they love to have a “movie night” where they show their creations. This is an excellent printer, and I’m very happy with my purchase! I’ve had absolutely no connectivity issues. The print quality—both color and black-and-white—is outstanding. Document printing looks crisp and professional, and photo printing is equally impressive with rich, vibrant colors. The speed is great too; it’s quite fast for home use.I can easily print and scan from my iPad, Mac, or iPhone with complete control. It handles everything—printing, scanning, color, and black-and-white—with no problems at all. I’ve used it frequently for small projects, documents, pictures etc., and the ink efficiency has been great. It doesn’t use much ink, which is a big plus.I also appreciate that I can print in black even if the color ink is low, and vice versa. Overall, this printer has exceeded my expectations!

The printer works great! It does sometimes turn off after it’s not in use, so you would have to disconnect and reconnect the charger. The main issue I had at first was that the printer wouldn’t connect to my WiFi. This printer only works with 2.4 WP2. The good news though, you can connect to the printer by setting it up as your WiFi. It’ll just mean when you print something, you’ll have to use cellular service which isn’t as annoying as it sounds. The setup was easy (besides WiFi), the printer is pretty smart when it’s trouble shooting. There’s a whole infographic about how the different flashes on the printer means literally different things. It’s not super noising and it’s not too bulky where it doesn’t take over my entire desk. I’m pretty happy with my purchase, especially with the price. The customer service is really great too. They are very thorough with helping you troubleshoot.

****UPDATE: We resolved the reliability problem by never using wireless printing for more than one or two pages (after confirming with our service provider and testing on multiple routers that it is *not* a problem with our wifi), but we’ve discovered further issues as we’ve used this printer over the past year that make me regret this purchase.(1) Double-sided printing is also unreliable and only works with certain mobile devices despite the settings being exactly the same (we’ve never succeeded in getting it to work with a computer, only phones).(2) Borderless printing results in a drastic decrease in the quality of the image even when all other settings are the same. Apparently this has been a known issue among users with many different Canon printers since at least 2014 (!!!) but Canon has refused to acknowledge the problem, let alone attempt to fix it. Some reviewers on the help forums recommend switching to an HP printer if you plan to do a lot of borderless printing.(3) As usual, ink runs out quickly. But on top of that, the printer will switch to printing out lower quality/washed out images even before ink is used up. Presumably this is to prolong the ink that is left, but the result is that you start getting washed out prints after using less than half of an ink cartridge. The first time this happened, I made the mistake of replacing the ink in order to get full-color print-outs again — what a waste of money! A work-around for this problem is to delete the printer and reinstall it on your computer; this will prevent the computer from automatically sensing remaining ink levels and lowering the quality to compensate, unfortunately you have to do this every time you start a new print job. What a waste of time.Overall, I would NOT buy this printer again and would definitely NOT recommend it to others. It’s not worth the money unless you need a super cheap way to scan in and make copies of your standard text documents. It’s too much hassle and money to use for photos and images — save yourself the headache and buy yourself a nicer home printer (and just get prints made somewhere where at least they’re accountable for the quality). ****Original Review Below:Astoundingly unreliable! I would say that it drops print jobs upwards of 70% of the time, which means wasted ink and sheets of half-printed pages and (if you’re trying to handle a double-sided print job) sometimes even more if the remaining pages then get printed out of order. If you’re printing anything longer than a few pages, you have to sit and monitor it while it prints to make sure this doesn’t happen. I’m thinking we’ll probably have to buy a cord to connect the printer to the computer directly in order to ensure no more dropped jobs, so it was a waste of money to get a wireless printer. I know for sure this is not a problem with our wifi connection, as no other wireless device in our home has this kind of trouble and the printer sits in the same room as our router.Also, when we first set up the printer (several months ago now) it was an incredible hassle and took three hours of trouble-shooting. The set up *would not work* with our computer. I had to download the app and use my smart phone to set it up b/c there was no way to use a computer to input our wifi password — this functionality is only available if you use the mobile app. WTF WHY?! This is absolutely idiotic and frustrating, since the majority of printing is done from a computer, not your phone. Also, there was no indication in any of the trouble-shooting FAQs provided by Canon that this very simple step was not available via computer, only on the mobile app (even just pointing that out in the manual would have saved me hours of wasted time trying all sorts of work-arounds).The printing itself is… fine.** [See update. It’s not fine.] No complaints. Haven’t tried the photo printer yet. The scanner is not super great quality for images but will work fine for copying printed documents. But if you want a wireless printer/scanner, I can’t recommend this — it’s a nightmare of counter-intuitive steps to set up and once it’s set up, it’s a coin toss whether or not the printer will drop its connection and cancel your print job without finishing.

I have had several of these printers and I have to say my experiences with them are highly varied.- It is a wonderful printer- It is a terrible printerFrom what I can tell these printers self-destruct after awhile. The self-destruct process is invoked by the printer dumping ink by its ink sensor THEN after a certain amount of ink flow, the ink sensor renders the printer inoperative.The idea is that Canon thinks that if you print a lot and flush ink past the sensor, after some amount of volume is flushed the printer is no good anymore. Now you can open the printer easily and suck the ink out of the overage trays. Not hard to do. But I _think_ the sensor is closer to the head itself so even if you clean the printer out the device is going to fail.These printers do require occasional cleaning and you have to be careful not to jar anything loose when cleaning ink slop out of the printer. It also seems to be the case that if you print your photos with white borders [ie no ink], the amount of ink shed into the trays will be lessened. If you print with black borders it appears the printer is much more likely to dump ink into the trays, shortening the printer’s usable lifespan! Interesting design.I do not know if a factory reset of the printer before it is disabled due to ink being tossed into the bins will fix the problem. Could be.On the flip side…This printer can be had for a very good price, especially at certain times of the year.The quality of output (in both color photos and black+white) is stellar, for an inkjet printer. Really amazing!For this reason I have gone from satsified, to incensed, to almost satisfied again after owning two of these printers.If you can get this printer for a good price or are going to only use it for occasional printing I think it’s a very nice deal.I will add that I only had luck with USB printing. I do not try and use this printer wirelessly. If you are going to use it wirelessly you may want to read the comments on doing so. I set up my first printer to do wireless printing and was not happy. Neither was my computer w/ the new drivers, etc.Eventually I did a factory reset+restored the printer to as-arrived firmware and it worked better for me.With a little work, Canon could make provide a workhorse printer that lasts for years. Further, if they turned off the ink overflow counter it would be possible to come up with a modified case that lets you drain the ink out of the trays now and then, eliminating any chance of spillage, which would indeed be messy!Okay, Canon has a great product here. They just need to do a little work to straighten it out. I think they can’t be happy what I assume is many returns. I really think hmm- with just a few changes this could be one of the best printers of its kind in a generation (since the Epson MX-80, say).As such, I’m changing my former one-star review to a four-star review. Yes, I’m on my third printer. It’s true. However if I can stretch them out to last at least a year… at these prices I’ll be happy.BTW I found out recently that I could return my first printer to Canon to receive a replacement printer. They sent me a Canon TS3700, which only prints, doesn’t scan. It is also sub-par in terms of performance, print quality and has a sensor-alignment problem, causing some images to be printed slightly diagonally!So altho’ i have that TS3700 and it works ok I’m purchasing a third MG3620.I’m doing this partly because it’s a great printer and also because I want to see how long I can make it last if I disassemble, baby+clean it regularly. Finally they are cheap enough right now that I feel I can take another shot at it.In closing, this is a printer I have spent a lot of time with on the repair bench. I have done a lot of research on its capabilities and features. I have taken the time to learn many of its Idiosyncrasies. I took one of these printers apart many times to clean+fix things that went wrong. Overall I have found it to be a good design. I hope Canon will make a few improvements to help these printers last longer when used heavily.OK this is probably not the review you were expecting but I think it may have some useful information in it that you can use to evaluate what printer you want to buy next!Regards.

I discovered that our printer was out of ink late Saturday afternoon(10/18/25) at around 6:00pm and I needed to print Sunday School lessons for my class the very next day (Sunday morning) so I ordered this ink cartridge right away because it said that I would receive it in the next few hours!!!IT ARRIVED AT 9:00pm and I was able to print all of my lessons for my Teen Sunday School Bible Study and the Ink Quality WAS PERFECT!THANK YOU LORD JESUS, and thank you Amazon for the super-duper-quick-shipment of this high quality ink!! I am so grateful!!!!

I’ve been buying for years.The good – They last a long time. No issues with the printer. Snap off plastic and put right in. Never a problem.The Ok – No way 825 pages HP claims but probably ~400 – 600 pages depending what you print.@ ~.10 cents per page, a decent value.Just pay attention to the ink levels because the good is they don’t fade but when you are out , you are out.

This product is just great. I have been using it for several weeks now and am constantly in the app thinking up new label ideas.D30 Printer – The product itself is well made, put simply it just works as intended. The printing is fast even if you print a solid black label and DPI is the highest and same as any of the other competitors available. When printing super small there may be some issues with text and legibility. I prefer to keep things simple with 1 or 2 line of big text. At 3 lines it is 100% readable as well. When you start putting super tiny text on there the letters begin to not print as intended due to problems with DPI if I am not mistaken. Letters may not print as they are supposed look thus making it hard to read. We are talking super small at this point though and it is unreasonable to expect to get micro text out of this thing that most people would need magnification to read anyways. Icons still look pretty good even at fairly small sizes. Just buy this one, it is the best one because it has the best ecosystem, the printer is easily equal or best… don’t buy it based on just looks but it looks/is decent, app which is super important is complete meaning all it’s features work unlike many other printers and it has the most label refill options.The APP – The app you need to download can be downloaded and tested before you even buy. I did just that with this and other best sellers and found this app had more icons and the competing apps actually had a similar app always but lacked icons, had usability issues, and some features that did not work yet because the app was not done yet but they still promote the app features as if they worked. This app seems to me like the best app thus making this the best printer IMHO because the app is the most important part of this whole printer label thing. If you are like me you will be spending most of the time with your phone and the app not holding the printer itself obviously until you need to grab your label(s). It may seem trivial but the app is super fun because you get to create things there then ultimately print them out on labels. The app lets you save all your labels and also manage them by deleting some if you want to get rid of some. The app has two modes, a basic simple mode and a more comprehensive mode. Tbh they are both modes are fine and comprehensive mode is very easy to use and has many features to help you create with great tiny precision so I just use that by default. The comprehensive mode is very intuitive and easy to learn to use. I have been in the app a ton since I got the printer and am always creating something new or saving labels I will print or that are or will be handy or fun to use now or later. Again saving everything is huge, because if you print the same things often you can simply select it before you enter creation mode and just print it.QR Code feature in the app – Short version is it works for sure, but filling it to the 200 character limit seems unprintable no matter what. There are two small problems. 1) First, in the app if you increase the size of the of the QR code via dragging the corner it can sometimes distort the shape. This is doesn’t happen every time and I would call it a bug. You want to keep it Square. I suggest two things if resizing the QR code. Copy your text to clipboard before finishing the QR code. Hit the check mark to place it. Don’t move it from where it initially appears on the app, resize it in baby steps and remember there is an undo button if the QR code distorts. If trying for max size move it to the top left corner, then finish resizing it to the max. A max size QR code code does work, so does a smaller default size smaller QR code but the number of characters used may make a difference. Also alternately, instead of undo if you distort the QR code, if you have trouble just delete it and make a new one, paste the clipboard, and try again. The real problem is it seems you cannot use the full 200/200 character limit as I am about to explain. 2) Second links and info work fine in the QR code depending on error correction and size, but you can only use so many characters. I tried using the maximum and it could not be read with it set to either LOW or SUPER as the error correction level. I took a only minutes and printed a few tests and I can print 100/200 characters of text at LOW error correction but not at SUPER error correction. At SUPER, 100 characters, the corners were distorted enough where I could tell directly from the app it was unprintable because the corner blocks were too small to be printed due to DPI limitations. I am sure I can go higher than 100 on LOW for example, but I didn’t want to do a super comprehensive definitive test just for my review. I suggest you guys play around with both character limit and error correction and don’t distort your QR codes!Label refills – Some people and reviewers have had trouble with refills. I came across the same issue as another reviewer yet his solution was drastically different and complicated but the actual issue is trivial but an understandable mistake. The D30 Printer comes pre-loaded with a roll of labels. The labels face outward and you are supposed to put the label side facing the printer head thus it feeds through the left of the circular chamber when you use that first roll. However the refills I purchased came wound up differently so the label faced the inward. I believe this may have been a change in the way they were wound up by the manufacturer and that is all. This means that to get the labels on the printer head you need to feed them through the right side of the circular chamber instead(see my image, that is a refill roll fed through right side). That is all. To me it was obvious but I understand the confusion as the product didn’t comer out of the box that way and I too initially fed the refill roll to the left and was confused. Again to recap the D30 comes with a roll with labels on the outside/up and the refills seem to be wound now with the label facing inside/down so need to be fed through the right. Just remember label has to face the printer head or it will obviously try and print on the back of the label paper that you throw away.Customer Support – Top notch 5 Star customer support that responded pretty fast. I genuinely believe they are trying hard to support their products and will continue well into the future and meet their customers expectations and are responsive to feedback and actually try to fix issues that arise.At times I am so bored but since getting the D30 printer I have been so distracted and immersed for weeks in the app creating and thinking of new labels. I have even seen some mental health benefits, my anxiety and stress I suffer from have gone down some because I am in the app so often. Who knew a simple label maker could be so fun!

I’m kind of a freak about organization and I label EVERYTHING, so thank goodness this little printer is almost effortless to use. Similar in size to a cell phone about twice as thick, but way lighter, making it easy to pop into your purse, backpack, or briefcase if you need to. The biggest issue I have with thermal printers is normally loading the paper correctly. This printer is easy to load. Just seat the spool onto the raised circle and feed the end of the label into the narrow slot. Close the lid and press the button on the top of the machine and it will auto-feed the label to the correct position. You will be sacrificing the first label, but that’s typical in my experience. It doesn’t matter if you feed a little or a lot into the slot, the auto-feed will correctly set the label regardless. As you can see in the picture, the ends of the label are perfectly centered, which is because of the auto-feed setting positioning the label in the right place. The border, however, is pretty tight to the bottom of the label, but that’s more likely a software issue because from the print screen on my phone it looks perfectly centered and the paper is seated properly in the printer. The print quality is good, but I find that it helps if my text is medium to large in relation to the size of the label for the best quality. I generally prefer labels with larger text anyway, since the point of putting a label on something is to be able to identify what it is at a glance.The uses for this label printer are virtually endless. From spice jars to file folders and everything in between, if it needs a label, you can make one with this printer. I have another label printer similar to this one, but it’s difficult to get the label tape perfectly installed and it has to be plugged in when you want to use it because it’s not rechargeable. This printer is rechargeable which makes a big difference because I can easily take it into the kitchen or the office depending on what I need to do with it. It uses a micro USB for recharging and a charging cable is included for your convenience. Mine arrived without a usable charge, but it only takes a few hours to fully charge it. I plugged it in to charge around midday, and it was already charged when I checked it around dinner time. It has a little cutout on one end where you could easily attach a lanyard (not included) if you wanted to which might be handy depending on your individual usage habits.The app you need to create and print labels is easy to use and there’s a huge selection of fonts, icons, borders, and templates. You can also create and save your own templates if you have a particular type of label you make frequently. I find this useful for creating food storage labels so that I know the date I put something in the freezer or pantry. Phomemo also has a lot of different label styles, so you’re not just stuck with the plain old boring white ones. It’s nice that you can get different colors to showcase your own personal style. There’s no comprehensive list of labels that are compatible with this printer, but it supports thermal labels that range from 12-15mm wide, and you can use either the precut or continuous labels. If you search “D30 labels” on Amazon, you’ll see there are tons of choices out there.The device is almost genius in its simplicity. There is a single light that illuminates when the device is turned on, blinks when it’s charging, turns solid red if there’s a problem like the cover is open or there are no labels installed, and blinks red when you’re running low on power. I initially thought the round black circle was some sort of display when I unboxed the printer, but it’s purely decorative and makes the printer look kind of like a vintage radio. As I already described, the labels are easy to load, and the only other part of the device you’ll use is the charging port. Everything else is controlled via the app.The app has a lot to offer, but as with anything new, it will take some time playing around with it to discover all the features and how to apply them. When you open the app, you’ll see at the very top there is a section labeled “Operations Guide.” If you click it and select the model of the device (D30) you’ll see a number of topics to help you navigate and get to know the software including how to create a label, how to center text, and so on. When you click on them, it takes you to an instructional video which is infinitely more useful than reading a manual. If you just want to go for it, I have found that just playing with the different settings and features has worked well for me. The label I made as a test for this review took around 5 minutes to create, so it’s pretty easy to intuit your way around. There are hardware instructions as well, and from there you will find the entire instruction manual (great in the event you lose your paper copy) as well as a video showing how to clean the print head. If you still need help, there is a “contact us” link from your profile page in the app as well as a live chat. So, no need to be intimidated by this cute little machine!All in all, this is a great label maker that you can use throughout your home and office. I find myself using it every week, mostly for food-related stuff, but also in my office when I need a file folder labeled. It’s also great for labeling things for storage. The labels themselves are easy to use and easy to remove from most things. If you’re putting them on food storage containers that you intend to refill, you can even wash the container, and the label will stay put and not smudge – although they won’t do as well in the dishwasher. What I really love is that I’m no longer tethered to my computer to make labels with this compact rechargeable printer. The only thing I wish this printer could do is recognize the label size automatically. Maybe AI will get us there eventually. As it is, it’s hard not to love this little cutie!

Still going strong after two years! It’s not without issues — the labels have fairly low resolution, and it’s difficult to get them perfectly aligned to the printer, so you often have to waste a label or two trying to make sure it will print in the center. My trick is, when I’m done printing for the day (and the stickers are aligned), I peel the last sticker off and then trim the strip so that about a half inch is still peeking out. That way, you don’t need to re-feed the strip through the mouth and mess up the alignment. Also, you do have to install an app to send print jobs to the printer, which I’m never a fan of. But you really can’t beat this price, and it works just fine for all of my use cases. I’ve used it to make everything from spice labels to little stickers. I’ll be buying more labels soon, as I’ve just run out!
