There’s a reason this is one of if not the most popular microprocessor, at least for beginners. So easy to use. Compatible with nearly any other component. Compared to most microprocessors, it’s a great price for what you’re getting. Quality is consistent and long lasting.

I bought it for my son, it works very well for his electronics and programming projects.

It was wonderful until I hooked some wires up wrong and burnt something out on the board. All my fault.

Great device. I bought 3 of these and they are my go-to controller for some pretty sophisticated DIY projects. Do read about how not to over-drive the pins (demanding too much current from them). And, DO read about the difference in the +5v and “Vin” pins. There is a company that sells just the processor chip. They are reasonable (pkg 3) and I recommend having them on hand in case Murphy stops by for a visit. If you follow basic principles and NEVER try connecting a pin to something for “trial & error” but instead, be certain of the voltage AND current potential that you are supplying (or demanding), and this beautiful device will work like a horse. When it comes to your connection to the computer, some Windows serial “portage” issues arise but it’s a matter of persistence. The Arduino IDE (programmer) has ways to let you see how things are going and which PORTs are connected and working. This is the only part that can be frustrating (other than writing software bugs. 🙂 Enjoy.. here’s what I think about it and how I use it this week:Have fun:Keep in mind that if your project is complex and you need more pins, you can use the nice I2c bus that this UNO has available and you can connect Slave devices to expand the “pin-age”. 🙂 I am going to add a AdaFruit Trinket Pro (powered from this UNO 5v bus) and let these two guys talk to each other over I2c; exchange info, and I get tons more PWMs and digital pins too. The cool thing is that the Trinket fits right on the back of this UNO’s added shield. SWEET !!As usual, these are great. Notice that this is the R3 — exactly what you want. I’ve written some great control software for controlling the RF oscillator in radio transmitters and this made the project a success. I added a stacking shield (Gikfun Prototype) for the additional hardware I needed and this UNO allows the flexibility of updating my own sketches if a new feature in my RF unit is warranted.

This is a micro-PLC. (Programmable logic controller). The setup () loop does first time execution. the loop() does continual scanning of Inputs and writing outputs. I’m an electrical engineer and control systems engineer, and I was enjoying learning to program the arduino as an embedded controller (PLC). The arduino.org arduino is a spec product (same as other Chinese knockoffs, but as long as they meet spec, they are a hammer…just not with the same namebrand). If you look on the web, arduino.cc is the Italian webpage with rights…but arduino s.r.l. also says that they have rights. it is confusing. the software from arduino.org for the ARDUINO IDE (The programming environment to make arduino code, to compile it, and to push it to the controller) is software revision 1.7.5. When you load it, it says that it is a modified version of the arduino.cc software. this is messed up, as arduino.cc has version 1.6.5. I found it suspect after installing the .org software so I uninstalled, ran a virus scan, and installed the .cc software. (.cc software will work on any arduino that meets the arduino specification).All in all it is a cool product. for intro to programming, it gives quick results. if you are a control systems engineer like me, then you have a $25-ish PLC that you can make to do any amount of awesomeness (provided that you use the 14 digital In/outs and 6 analogs to accomplish said awesomeness). Tomorrow night I get to work on using add-on cards.Word of advice: D13 is internally connected to an LED with inline resistor on the board. You don’t need any extra stuff (LEDS, resistors, etc) in order to do a first program to make the D13 an output and toggle it high and low, and feel good that the board works. Similarly, a blinking D13 can prove that a program is running when it blinks on at the beginning of the loop() function and off in the midst of the loop() function. Word to the wise.

As far as the Arduino platform is concerned, it’s great. Great idea, great design, generally quality stuff. If it helps you, the Amazon shopper looking for a genuine UNO, I ordered mine from CanaKit and it is the genuine artifact, not a clone (fast shipping too!). There is one problem though and that is that these little boards (clone or original) are fairly easy to destroy (i.e. short circuit). I don’t understand (well, I gue$$ I do) why someone who is making a product supposedly intended for students, artists and creative types doesn’t put more protection on these things. After I fried my second UNO for a reason that was not clear to me at the time, I searched and found the Ruggeduino. Same stuff and though it’s not “genuine” and costs a little less than twice as much, it has resettable fuses on every I/O port and then some, and it’s made in the US! No, you’re not exactly funding the Arduino project, but if that really appeals to you, I’m sure you can just donate money to them. Look it up if you are interested in Arduino, but have fat fingers or are sometimes clumsy with your circuits or just want to have the ability to make a mistake and not be fined for it. To me, Ruggeduino is what Arduino should have been from the beginning. Something that prevents you from making $20 mistakes because your lazy, ignorant, impatient or just plain stupid.

When I fly I always like to have one of these with me. You never really know what the ground is going to be like and I really don’t want debris getting stirred up and getting inside my drone. This drone landing pad is the best one I have ever had. First, it’s heavy. You put it down and it’s not going anywhere. No steaks to hold it in place from the prop wash. Second, it folds up pretty small, only 10.5 by 8 inches. Third, it comes with it’s own zippered nylon bag. I love this landing pad a lot! It will always be part of my kit.

Love the fact that now when I use a landing pad, the wind from my drone propellers doesn’t cause the paid to move.

This landing pad is a great size for my DJI Mini 3 and makes takeoff a lot easier on uneven ground. It’s weighted enough to stay flat, even on grass, and folds down neatly to about a quarter of its size. The carrying case clips right onto my drone bag, which is a nice touch. The material feels durable and reflective markings help visibility. My only wish is that the surface were a little softer — landing can be tricky until you get the hang of it.

I received this drone last night and immediately put the two batteries that came with it on the charger. Here are some initial observations before even using this thing:1. It comes with a very nice zippered case2. Not only does it come with two batteries, which most of the drones seem to have, but it also has two charging cables so that you can have them both ready at the same time.3. Downloading the app, creating an account and setting it up was simple.I just installed the batteries and took it outside for a test run. This drone is very stable. With no adjustments at all, it hovers right where you left it. Control is a breeze. Great drone and very easy to fly and control. I’m a total rookie with drones, but found this very easy to operate and fly. The lights make it very easy to spot when flying late in the day. For a first time drone owner, this is a fantastic deal. It’s not a professional tool, and it’s not marketed as such. What it does, it does competently. It comes with two batteries, including a set for the controller which is nice. It has a good range of features, though I’m not sure I would take it off manual control. Taking photos and video is easy. This is a great drone for the price, and a good starting point to refine some skills and learn features and basics. It also comes with backup blades and protecors. Exactly what it says it is and easy to spot from the Drone. If it is breezy you’ll need to stake it down. I used 2 small rocks on concrete and it didn’t move. Folds up easily for storage and the carrying case is a bonus.

This landing pad is made of solid, heavy weight material and includes anchoring stakes although, in most cases, you may never need them. The folded size is approximately 7 inches by 11 inches and it comes with a protective bag. Good product.

This STARTRC Drone Landing Pad is fantastic and has quickly become an essential part of my flying gear. I purchased the 22-inch/55cm size, and it provides the perfect, solid surface for my drone (Potensic Atom 2 SE).I initially thought a landing pad was just a gimmick, but it provides several benefits: it gives a level surface, it makes it quick and easy to return to home if you’re running low on battery, but the biggest benefit is that it prevents grass from getting in the props of my mini drone. Using this pad means I get clean takeoffs and landings every time, preventing grass, dust, or sand from getting kicked up into the motors or onto the lens. So I bought a DJI Neo with no intention of buying a remote control. I intended on just using my phone to control it or the selectable patterns on the drone. The patterns were fun for a day or so. Then I flew it with my phone and immediately found out that the range was garbage. I have a huge lake right in front of my house and I couldn’t dare to fly my drone out over it for fear that I would lose connection and it would just sit there until the battery died and it plunged to its death.So I got this remote and man. It took my flying from kindergarten to college level. Not only did I fly over the entire lake multiple times, on another flight I flew so far away from my house that I couldn’t even see my drone anymore. I had to hit return to home on the remote. And let me just say that unless I had this remote return to home wouldn’t have even been an option.Yes, this remote is almost as much as I paid for the drone itself but it opens up so many more possibilities. Highly recommend it.

I love the living tweedle out of the DJI RC-N3 controller!!! :-)The ability for you to remap the controls to suit your needs is a HUGE PLUS it has going for it!!! (I fell prey to a crippling stroke over three years ago and lost the use of my right hand; I moved the most-used functions of my DJI Neo to the left stick and I fly like a champ; I’ve already begun to use my proprioception (muscle memory) while manipulating the remote).Being rechargeable is another bonus.

If you have a neo, you need this control. Works perfect, connects easily and really changes how your drone will fly. Add a lot of function to your flight and easier to control.

As most others have said, this is an OEM Avata 2 battery that I purchased to augment my Avata 2 Fly More combo. Took a charge properly and gave proper flight times. Pricing is inline with any other true FPV LiPo pack of similar capacity and capability. It’s nice to have a fourth battery that can be charged in the aircraft while my other three batteries are charging in the hub. Good product, reasonable price, extra flight time; 5 stars.

Just as good as the original. Last long the writing is actually a lot better on so I can read it. It’s just great I do wish wish it would last longer but the original lasts this long so it is what it is but you’re doing a lot of high g’s a lot of turns a lot of flips a lot of rolls so what can you expect. The media could not be loaded. DJI is the leader in drone technology and the FPV drones makes flying even more exciting. The Avata 2 is one of my favorite FPV drones. Testing proved to give you 10 minutes of rip roaring fun with full throttle. You can get longer flight times if you fly slower. Multiple batteries is a must to enjoy a day of flying.Price is on par if not cheaper then other brands batteries. Go with the authentic batteries and don’t trust your expensive drones with cheaper alternatives.

Great quality as always from DJI

The media could not be loaded. This is great to limit the area for the robot to work, it works as expected with our vacuum.Good quality magnetic strip, but it could cost less 🙂

I got a Shark vacuum. This strip works perfectly and the Shark vacuum will not go past this strip.

This is a band that can be used to protect wires from a robot vacuum cleaner. I was dubious at first, but once I tested I was impressed. The magnetic based band really worked to turn the robot vac away from tv cords and electric cables. Easy to cut to size with just a pair of kitchen scissors.

We used this to contain the robo vacuum from crossing into another room.

Very disappointing. I bought this tape to put under the tassels on my Oriental carpets. They did not work at all. The robot runs right over them. Better solution: put a 2 X 4 over the fringes while cleaning. I also tried to put the tape in a doorway to keep the bot out of the mud room, it happily goes over the 2 inch drop to the lower floor, but can’t get up again. The tape didn’t help. I think the problem is not with the tape, but with the robot. The sensors are too far from the front of the robot. By the time the robot senses the tape, it is already 3 or 4 inches into the area you are trying to keep it out of, the tassels have already been swept up by the side arms, or it is dropping off into the mud room. To work at all, the sensors should be at the front of the robot. I have to keep the door to the mud room closed when cleaning, there seems to be no other answer. Could I move the tape 3 inches into the room? No. That would be really ugly and people walking through would kick the tape out of place. It sort of looks ok on the thresh hold because the door is actually an exterior door and ugly anyway. The tapes actually do not adhere to anything and do not stay in place unless something is on top of them or they are wedged into place. I have tried these in various other locations and I have not actually find any place where they have worked.

It was easy to cut and tape down. Definitely needed more double sided tape than what was included, but we made it work. I had enough to tape off two sides of my queen sized bed and the bathroom.It worked. We followed the instructions: make sure it isn’t being covered and it’s fully secure, and it kept the robot out of the bathroom and away from the underside of my bed. Definitely worth the money to keep the litter box accessible to the cats (in the bathroom) and also clean the bedroom floors as well without ruining the cords underneath the bed. I will 100% buy it again when we move houses.

Works well on spots that you don’t want the robot vacuum to enter or stay away from. Our triple glass slider has a large gap between the interior floor and the third door, when closed. Vacuum would get stuck in this gap and had to be removed before it would continue. By placing a length of the strip along the edge of the floor, the vacuum backs away when it attempts to get close to the door. Also, placed around a bench in the master that the vacuum would “climb” over the leg base that runs on all four sides, but would “climb” back out of and got trapped. Bench is against a wall and I cut three lengths of the border strip and placed them on the floor on three sides. Now the vacuum doesn’t attempt to “climb” over the base and doesn’t get hung up.

Honestly did not trust the company in the beginning. It’s hard to find this drone in America. I can confirm tho it was legit DJI product and you can register it on Faa drone zone. Fly good haven’t really test the obstacle sensors yet or the automatic flying features yet. I can confirm the camera is incredibly tho. The box it came in was little beat up little but none of the product was harm.

Thanks for making this drone available to people in the US! The seller threw in an extra cable so it’s compatible with United States plugs. Registration went smoothly. The drone works amazing! This is a truly amazing drone! The control, picture, and general quality/polish of DJI build is great.

Probably the best drone I have flown. The video image quality is dramatically better in dynamic range and the color is so great. Couple that with incredible battery life and it’s an excellent combination for professional use.

I’m my opinion, this is the best drone camera there is, under $15,000. (Just remember, it has to be registered.) Zoom is incredible. It’s fast! I’ve had it going 55mph on a windy day. There’s a few things that I hope they fix, like the slow camera tilt, and lag between taking photos, but all minor issues. Did I mention, the zoom is incredible!! Super fast delivery. Arrived on time undamaged. Unfortunately the registration process with DJI was a failure. Called DJI (and also chatted online with them) and they said the firmware was bad. Sent it back and got a refund. Heartbroken but these things happen now and then.

This thing is awesome. Paired up with zero hassles to a DJI Neo and allowed me to pretty much immediately fly around and take good quality video of the surroundings. While this review is about the controller I wanted to mention the Neo does not have GPS so I was not expecting return to home to work on the controller. I was surprised to find it does work although I think it mentioned some limitation of some sort. There’s a lot to take in while operating this thing. Im in my mid 40s and reaching a point where I MIGHT just be falling behind on cutting edge technologies. Handed the controller off to a 13 year old with zero flight experience and they flew around, flew back to us and landed at our feet like a pro. Honestly that moment alone was worth the price of admission. They were nervous to take the controls at first but then it was all smiles. It was super easy to set up with a DJI drone. Im seeing these tiny whoop drones that are micro sized and will probably pick one up to try to make work with this controller as well. I see a lot of folks posting videos flying those indoors and that seems like fun too.. anyways great controller I’d buy it again if needed and will be buying one as a gift in the near future. Biggest problem? Showing your friends and them wanting one too!

Having the standard controller sold time ago with the mini 4 pro, though I am accustomed to steps of mounting my phone to the controller, then connecting to the controller via the app is a pain, so I easily got bit by the bug to have a controller with a screen, and today that bug got mashed, and now there’s no need to connect to anything…BUT need to update firmware, activate the controller RC 2, then bind the m4pro to the new controller was a welcome pain. In the many procedures to go through, I thought I’d try calibrating the drone with this newer controller.Calibrated the gimbal. Quick and easy.Calibrated the compass. Not quick but easy.Calibrated the IMU – which before would never calibrate, along with the compass with the older controller, and done in less than 5mins for the very first time ever, since the m4pro flew into my life almost a month ago! WoW!!!Easy to use. Pain in the butt to get online on this newer controller but finally done.Took a long walk with drone connected to this new controller, and loved how easy it was and without connecting the phone!!! VERY slow in startup but still worthwhile.Now if only I could figure out how to transfer my m4pro’s previous 90+ flight data to the RC 2 controller! I already have the file of my previous flight data on a card, but still cannot transfer it over to the RC 2.BE logged in to the RC 2 during first use.

First the order was delayed but never got a notification until the day it was to be delivered. Then when I receive 6 days after original ETA its DEFECTIVE with a issue that DJI is aware of. Rc will not ACTIVATE. This issue can’t be resolved and needs to be sent back. Tried to replace it, but only option is to refund. Then I have to REPURCHASE on Amazon for a higher price point and pray it arrives as quoted and functional.

Best choice for compatible drones. Simplifies use. Prices and supplies will be crazy thanks to “the ban”.

I have 2 of the rc2 controllers, they both work great and its so nice to not have connect acell phone to the controller for a video screen. It works great on my Neo, Flip & mini 4 Pro but my mini 4k wont work on this controller.

Battery life is good. Compatible with my Air 3s. Connectivity to my drone was quick also quick to connect to internet
