    I am super impressed with the quality and functionality of the cinch and cutting tools in this kit. Both work excellent. The included assortment of stainless steel PEX clamp rings are also excellent quality. This tool was a game changer for me. It’s SO much easier to use than the bulky PEX crimper I have, and it’s so much more versatile because it fits in tighter spaces. I’m done using my old PEX crimper, and I will only be using this cinch tool from now on. It is a great value, and it’s comes in a nice quality case. If needed, it’s simple to remove a cinch ring, and the cinch rings are so much easier to place on the tubing without accidentally moving them out of position compared to a PEX crimper. The connections are every bit as reliable, if not moreso, because the cinch rings are stainless steel as opposed to copper.

    Quality tool. The included rings are a nice bonus. The ratchet mechanism works much better than my big box store brand. That said, the handles are on the short side and it takes A LOT of pressure especially to cinch 1″ PEX. This is a very clever tool that can easily be switched from cinch to remove. And the remove function works WAY better than the big box brand dedicated tool. A nit, the switch for changing from to cinch to remove is very hard to read especially if working with limited light. When removing rings you MUST wear eye protection. The rings often break into multiple pieces and fly around.

    These were advertised as adjustable, they are not. However, they do and have continued to function very well with no issues! They are extremely easy to use, you don’t have to strain in the least to use them. They get into the tightest spots with no problems! Very pleased with the quality and cost!

  • Probably the best all around air hose option.
    The hybrid hoses in general are great. They’re light, abrasion resistant, don’t kink too bad, very little memory, and at least the Flexzilla ones aren’t really affected by UV. Flexzilla, maybe worse than some of the others, does get pretty grubby looking – I think half of it is the color. That being said, the neon green color makes it less likely to get walked on or tripped over I suppose too. I’d say that is really the biggest downside, one of the biggest benefits to me has been working with them when it’s cold out – still very flexible.

    This hose is lightweight and had no leaks the first time I used it. Normally I would have to use Teflon tape on fittings, these were tight! I had absolutely no issue with kinks when I ran this hose throughout the house. Coiling the hose up after use was simple. Just stretch out the hose and twist and loop it onto itself. I am wishing I would have bought the spring-loaded reel system. The value is undeniable. I have an older 50ft hose that wouldn’t reach without moving my compressor, so I bought this hose. I was able to just maneuver this around doors with no difficulty, and it didn’t mark any walls or trim.

  • Nice air hose but …
    I purchased the 3/8” 50-ft hose. True, it is much lighter and a more flexible hose than others I have owned and It does not kink, but I would argue the point that it “coils easily and lays flat with zero memory”. Not so. It twists and holds tight coils very easily and I have to pull out all 50 ft, lay it out flat by un-coiling it every time I want to put it away. I bought this purposely because I wanted a hose easy to wrap up and hang. This is NOT that hose. On all other counts this is a great hose but having to untwist the coils before putting away has become tiresome. Maybe a heavier all-rubber hose would hang better?

  • Fantastic Hose
    I use this hose mainly for inflating tires on one of my 6 gallon pancake air compressors. It has worked perfectly for me so far, does not leak at all, and handles 100psi with ease. Even when fully charged up, I am easily able to untwist the hose if it starts bunching up. It’s truly worth the extra spend over a traditional cheaper polymer hose that turns into stiff rock when fully charged. In my opinion, the Flexzilla hybrid hoses are truly fantastic. I also use the Flexzilla hybrid pressure washer hose (water pressure washing), and it’s made my pressure washing experiences so much better in terms of unravelling the hose and pulling it where I need it to be. The polymer pressure washing hoses could never do that. If I moved the hose, it will always go right back to the same spot because it’s too stiff. Use these hybrid hoses. they are so much better.
  • No regrets, we love flexzilla
    Flexzilla air hoses are the best I’ve used. This hose is exposed to solvents, oils, dirt, and being ran over by cars in our shop everyday. The hose is flexible when brand new, instead of needed a ‘break in period’ like some other cheaper hoses I’ve used. the green color lasts and can be cleaned up to look brand new even after soaking in dirt and grime. The flexzilla hoses have nice anodized black fittings, and flexzilla sells compatible fittings so you can cut any of there hoses and install new fittings with just a couple wrenches or channel lock pliers. We replaced all of our hoses with these almost a decade ago and we have been very impressed.

  • Easy install – worked immediately
    Our condensate pump recently died, leaving a mess on our garage floor when we started our central AC for the first time this summer. Naturally, the older pump was no longer available, so I couldn’t do an exact 1:1 swap. I found this one after a little research, and couldn’t be happier.Installation was simple: It took all of 10 minutes to remove the old unit and reattach hoses, stabilizing screws and the drain pipe to the new one. It tested perfectly the minute I plugged it in. As a bonus, it also turned out to be quieter than the old pump.Summer is just ramping up, but so far, so good. I’ll be back to update this review if anything goes wrong later on.
  • FIVE STARS for Durability & IMP Installation Notes
    First, the crap and gunk that this unit battled – I am amazed that it was still running. Here are some notes from my experience:-+ DON’T ASSUME THE PUMP TANK IS CLEANED WITH ANNUAL OR PERIODIC SERVICES. Many companies (I have experience with a fairly wide range) will do just enough to clear the lines and keep the unit functioning. Not once have any of the companies *ever* cleaned this tank.+ DON’T ASSUME THE PUMP IS REPLACED WHEN THE FURNACE IS REPLACED. We had a huge, new Lennox system installed and the not inexpensive, certified installers just left the old pump in place. If the photo wasn’t so terrible, I’d attach it. Cannot believe this Little Giant battled through.+ DRAIN LINE. There was so much gunk in the unit that the line out was also full of sediments. I replaced it based on guidance from amazon contributors. It was not at all difficult. I think you will do much more for your own unit than someone normally has time to do on a usual service. If you want it replaced, it is probably something you’d have to specially request.+ DRAIN LINE CONFIGURATION. There are notes on how to do this given your specific location (rise precedes horizontal run, length, etc.). Mine was twisted, tied so tightly to the pipes that it was constricted in multiple places, and the run configuration was inverted. The Little Giant manual contains relevant info. as well.+ REPLACEMENT. For less than $50 it is much, much more economical to replace the pump. There are also many good notes in the reviews — together with You Tube vids.+ INTAKE PIPES. I just knew before I removed the unit, I’d find that the ends of the pipes were not only flat cut, but also almost flush up against the bottom of the tank. A read of the very straightforward installation instructions highlights this as an issue. It’s just not something the normal retail customer would even know to check until a water or functional issue develops. Cut at a 45 degree angle.+ P TRAP. So important and so often overlooked. Equipment manufacturers may not really focus on these, and service technicians are busy once there’s an obvious fail. My installation was riddled with errors. No wonder it has been leaking for years. Every time I asked about it, every co. agent just said, yeah, they do that. Well they do if they are not installed correctly. It is easy to check the levels and venting requirements by reading 1.5 pages of the manual. Risks of improper installation: water damage to the system and area, and worse, distribution of substandard air throughout the house.+ MAINTENANCE. The tank needs to be flushed and cleaned regularly. That’s IMPORTANT. From what I gleaned, that’s a minimum of every 2 years…….. but realistically at *least* annually (with that service contract) and possibly more frequently in humid or damp areas.I have friends who are GREAT service technicians. I admire their skills. The thing is that unless you understand the equipment in your own house, it’s hard to appreciate those talents — and also know when someone is lacking. It also helps to do some normal maintenance to preclude issues.Edit: The check valve (and float switch) supplied with the unit are working well; no issue and there is a 10 ft vertical run preceding the inverted U down to the drain entry point. Nevertheless I will cut in a second check valve given the length of the vertical rise.

    This is the second one I have bought. There’s nothing wrong with the first one, it just had been working continuously for five years and ended up eventually getting clogged with the bacteria slime that was coming out of the dehumidifier, that needed to be replaced. I loved it so much, and it worked so well, that I just bought the exact same one.I have to run my dehumidifier constantly in my basement, but in order to have it be effective I need it in the middle of the room and not tucked away in the corner in the laundry room. Which means I have to run a hose up into the ceiling tiles, across the ceiling, and then drop down into the laundry room sink. This compressor works so beautifully that it easily pushes the water up 7 feet, across 15 feet, and then down into the laundry room sink. So if you have a distance that you need your water to travel, this is the product for you!It’s also extremely easy to use when you’re hooking it up to a dehumidifier. The hose from the dehumidifier goes into one hole and the hose that the water travels through sticks onto the nozzle. And then you plug it in and you’re done.

    The most remarkable feature of this item was the speed at which it was delivered. Ordered at 4:00 pm and got it by 9:30 pm same day! The A/C system was accumulating 30+ gallons a day so this was much appreciated. Great overall value and power. Relatively easy to install. Noisier and more powerful than previous. Details below:1. It is more powerful than the previous unit which is great, but it is also is more noisy – which isn’t so great. I’ve added some foam against the wall to muffle some vibration and noise. Choose what you need and limit excess noise. For me, the noise level is probably worth having fewer clogging problems, easily blown out by the more powerful unit.2. Installation: Mounts easily to the wall on 2 screws and if you are replacing an existing unit, it is easy to set up. There are 3 intake openings and snap-in caps for the ones you don’t use. The hose clamp shown on the outtake nipple isn’t included and may not be necessary. $1.49 for that extra peace of mind is worth it. This model came with a grounded plug, which I used to test the unit. I later cut off the plug and wired it into the fused shut-off box for the whole A/C system.3. Reliable switching: The internal switches (attached to floats) come on when an inch or so of water enters and a second switch cuts off the A/C unit via the thermostat when there is too much water in the reservoir. If the motor fails or there is a clog in your pipes, your house will not get flooded. The shut off works great when there is about 3″ of water in the reservoir. Typical run time to empty the reservoir is about 5-7 seconds.4. Quirks: (Which may mean nothing) A. The motor smelled a little oily/smokey for the first 3 days until it broke in. It settled in nicely. The ice cold air from a high efficiency A/C unit creates some condensation on the outside of the reservoir. (See photo) I have not noticed dripping but keep squared plastic shoe container beneath just in case. So far, so good.

    I bought this to replace the 3/8″ hose on my Harbor Freight hose reel. It is very pliable and works well, but keep in mind that the fittings are 1/4″NPT. My reel fitting is 3/8″NPT female, so it needed a 1/4 to 3/8 bushing.The only issue right now is, it isn’t as slick as the old hose, so it’s not as easy to get it to wrap straight on the reel, but I’m hoping that will improve after using it for a while. Maybe some talc will help that.

    Great selection of sizes the glue or sealant is Great. Shrink size is tighter then most. Knowing this, I can use a bigger the normal and it shrink as listed 4:1.I not a fan of the big box. I divided them up in smaller containers.I will definitely buy again.

    These were overall good quality in a reasonable value. They do include the marine grade glue inside so once they’re heated to an appropriate heat and shrunk, they have a glue inside that assists with holding everything together and truly making a good waterproof seal.

    Barely closes. Would be nicer if it had a wider range of sizes with the level of shrink it has. Has far too many small sizes that are nearly the same. The 4:1 ration is great and doesnt require as many sizes so close to each other.Con. Any little nick in this will rip them apart when shrinking.

  • Nice assortment of heat shrink
    Seems like a decent product. At first I questioned whether they were adhesive lined, as there wasn’t a detectable glue lining like I’ve had on other brands. But upon using my first piece, I had a glue bead seeping out of both ends. So they certainly are adhesive lined.They are fairly light duty with a thin wall, but the shrink ratio is excellent.The cutting job is marginal with slight length variations and many of the cuts are not square to the end. Electricians tend to be quite OCD about things looking good when we are doing wiring. I don’t want angled ends on my heat shrink, so I have to recut a lot of these to make them square before use. I also had a couple unusable pieces that were mangled, looking like they were caught in some machinery during production. For those few things, I have to knock a star. But I would still buy this product again.

    I’m using it as a pool cover pump to remove water after heavy rains. I have a 16 x 32 inground pool, so no telling how many gallons the cover collects when we get 2″-3″ of rain over a few days. Works good, but does not move water too quickly. I am using the small diameter hose and one of the fittings that it came with, so maybe this could be improved if I purchased a larger (adapter) fitting and larger diameter hose. Very happy that it came with a long cord and the included hose and several different fittings. Packaging was great, no issues. For the price, I’m happy with it. Have used it a few times and it has been plugged in for several hours each time and takes water down to a very minimal level as advertised. I am enjoying the ease of using this pump vs. dragging out my larger sump pump each time that I had previously been using.
