    This is the perfect little cooking kit! It came packaged so neat. It had all of the tools you need to make ramen, even rolling pins and a pizza cutter. The broths it came with were phenomenal, and the texture of the noodles rolled out thin were amazing as well. The instructions were easy to follow. This product was worth every penny! My kids and I had the funnest time making these!
  • Much simpler than I thought it would be.
    Everything was portioned out so we didn’t have to measure things out, it’s still messy kneading dough but fun, and the end result was really good! More of a udon noodle not like a rice noodle from a package of ramen. Way better. We will be making our own noodles from now on ☺️
  • Nasty gross doughy clumps, flavorless runny sauce
    It was difficult to get the dough thin enough, and then it was difficult to cut the dough into thin enough pieces. I ended up with clumps of doughy noodles. They tasted nasty and had a gross sticky-gluey texture. The sauce didn’t save them; it isn’t a good thick sauce, but a runny sauce with not much flavor.Before throwing them away, I decided to try putting them in the oven to see if I could get some sort of crispy snack out of them. The ones that had been boiled before baking came out still gluey and sticky and gross. The ones that hadn’t been boiled came out crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They weren’t the greatest, but the non-boiled baked ones were edible, and at least I wasn’t wasting as much food when food is so expensive these days.

    Not very useful and flavor packs offer no instructions. Threw it out, bought noodles and made our own ramen from scratch.

  • Great flavor but a lot of work
    This kit makes six bowls, in two sets of three bowls of ramen. It also comes with a very smooth roller and a cutter, which gives you most of the supplies you need to make more ramen, with mostly ingredients common in the kitchen. Ours anyway because we tend to have broth and various flours. This kit also comes with two broths, shoyu (basically soy sauce) and vegan beef flavor. The beef has a richer more complex flavor that I wouldn’t call beef.Rolling out the ramen takes a while to do, no matter how good you are at rolling pizza or pie dough. This dough is made more substantial with the vital wheat gluten but it still needs to be rolled thinly and then it gets boiled. It says 2mm which seems impossible. Alexa translates that to 0.079 inches. It then becomes very difficult to get into boiling water and yes it does stick to itself and roll around. Then knead. Then cut. It’s not pretty. It’s fun to try but all of my future ramen noodles are coming out of a bag.

(Raises hand) It makes 6 servings, but the ingredients are portioned so that you would make (2) 3-bowl servings at a time. Everything is pre-measured, except for water & salt. So it’s easy to use, and there’s no need to fuss with storing half-used packets.The rolling pin is surprisingly sturdy, and there’s even a pizza wheel cutter. Depending on how thick or thin you roll the dough, this makes more like 1-2 servings.There are 2 kinds of broth included: shoyu and vegan beef. They are tasty, if a little high in sodium.I still prefer my local ramen shop, but this is a fun activity and unique gift. Maybe a fun date night at home, or an afternoon with kids!

    It’s fun, it’s different. Nearly any type of noodle is best when used with a hand crank pasta roller as one can get the best stretch and create a better texture. But hand rolled and cut works in a pinch too. No *need* for special equipment, especially if just an occasional thing. Making the dough for the noodles is easy enough. I recommend giving the dough a good “knead and stretch””Make it yourself” kits are entertaining, and nearly always overpriced (but I dont rate on price). I think this is a fun kit, likely best used as a gift or as part of a little gathering Definitely would have caught my interest in college days or in my young adult days when I would have a few friends over often. Just fun to have something to do as part of the get together.Small box packs a lot.

    We highly respect the Ashirvad products, but this one was disappointing. Flours are meant to be eaten as fresh as possible. The use by information label on the original product was covered by another label. According to the original label, the product was expired for more than a couple of months. Paying $$$, one would expect fresh product.

    The communion wafer tastes plasticky and the juice is no more than a few drops. However, the point of this “Miracle Meal” branded communion cup/wafer set is not to enjoy the taste or get nutrition … it is to remember Jesus Christ and the grace we’ve received despite who we are. I belong to a church plant and we don’t own our own building and so logistically it’s more difficult to set up the sacrament when we’re renting out our space. These cups allow us to easily set up whenever we observe communion and, if there are leftovers, we can put them back in the box and into the closet where all of our other supplies and snacks are stored. I applaud the Miracle Meal company for solving a problem that we didn’t know existed. Even though you’re not getting saltines and Welch’s grape juice in a fancy cup, it does the job. I advise folks that use these cups to “pre-peel” the plastic off of both the wafer and the juice while the individual conducting communion is going over what each represents because they don’t peel off super easily … it will allow you to be in sync with everyone else in the church.

    These communion cups seem to be just fine. This comes with a box of 1000 of them, which is a lot. It’s a pretty good sized box. The juice in them as well as the water taste fine. I can’t really think of much else to say about these. If you’re supplying a church or someone who needs a massive quantity of these, this is not a bad option.
  • Does not taste good
    These tiny communion cups are convenient and easy to open. They provide enough for a small congregation, and are sealed well so they do not leak. I like that you have the host and “wine” all in one for ease. The taste however is not so good. The grape juice does not taste fresh. The host is your typical bland wafer, so nothing to really expect there and they are tinier than average.

    Used at our church. Decent quality but good value compared to other options. We don’t normally go to these as a default, but out of necessity now and then. At the end of the day, it is a wafer and some stale juice. What matters is your heart.
  • Juice and wafers were fresh – 12 months shelf life
    This product arrived in one box (see picture). When the box arrived, I immediately placed a shipping ice pack in the box to help cool it down. Some of the packaging for the juice part was hard to open, others open easily no problem. I received these in the middle of the hot summer (90 plus degrees) so I’m not sure if the heat effects of the glue making some of the communion cups harder to open.The juice taste fresh as does the communion wafers. The wafers are on top of the package with juice. I literally thought they forgot the wafers until I realized they are all attached making this easy to distribute quickly and efficiently.The product information that came with this order stated that this product has a 12 month shelf life.

    These are very tasty, and fit a lot of filling nutrition into the small box. I love this variety. The sauce on the beef stuffed cabbage was a little sweet for me, but the rest was very good!     I am an US ARMY veteran and a fan of military MREs (meals ready to eat). I love to collect and taste meals of the armed forces of different countries. Most of these meals are shelf stable and can be eaten right of the pouch or heated using a chemical heating element. I am always on the lookout for new meals that can be eaten while outdoors, traveling, or in an emergency.I discovered KJ Poultry meals while browsing and ordered the 10 pack to try the different meals and because it lowered the cost per meal significantly. It took me a couple of weeks to eat them all but here are some pictures and my overall review which is positive.Positives:-First thing is the ingredient list. There are no strange preservatives or additives in these meals. All ingredients listed are recognizable.-Great flavor and low sodium for a shelf stable meal. Most shelf stable meals have a ton of sodium, these meals are flavorful without the excess salt.-Sauces, sides, stocks, and proteins have a ‘fresher’ taste than the standard US ARMY MRE. Plus many of the meals include actual vegetables/grains like carrots, peppers, cabbage, chickpeas, quinoa.-I was not familiar with Kosher standards but after looking into it a bit learned that it has the highest standards on sanitation when processing food.Negatives:-Some meals had a similar flavor profile all across. This happens when you produce different meals in the same facility.-Beef Pepper steak and Chicken chow mein’s rice had to be stired in the center after the 3 minutes heating time to ensure even heating. On the Beef Pepper steak the additional heating time made the rice turn mushy.If you are MRE enthusiast I strongly recommend trying these meals.

    We really wanted to love these as the food looks so good and the packaging is very convenient for travel. However, we tried the stuffed chicken and the ribsteak tonight and they were so horribly salty we could not eat them. While we are not food wasters – we had to toss these out due to the over salting. A big waste of money ($9+ each meal) and horrible dashed hopes. We will update this review once we have tried the other meals but saddly – we are not very hopeful.

    I bought these as a back up meal plan for hurricane prep. We were fortunate and did not lose power. We don’t have tons of extra pantry storage space so we started eating them. Omg! We didn’t have very high expectations but let me tell you these are outstanding. The portions are generous. The taste is 100% spot on. These are seasoned so well. One of the things lacking in most shelf stable or MRE meals is almost always seasoning. Not the case here. I just can’t day enough about how good these are. They all taste precisely true to the best home made or favorite restaurant version of the recipe. Very, very good. We are buying more just as easy meals. Bonus, no refrigeration or freezer required!

    These meals are great, specially when you are in a pinch to get something quick. The taste is good, but if you arent used to kosher meats, you might think it tastes funny. The chicken was cooked well, and the beef was very tender. A few minutes in the microwave, and youve got a hot meal ready to go. My favorite is the chicken and potato. These are shelf stable, and require no refrigeration, so theyre perfect for traveling or if you need emergency meals. Amazon has managed to keep the price down, at the same price point as most local groceries. I would definitely but these again.

    i was looking for more mre type meals that were highly shelf stable but less hassle and this variety pack checks all the boxes. The food tastes decent and is ok even when not heated in a pinch. They came in handy when we had no power in the house for a few days. the sodium is still high at 33% but the calories are super low, kosher with easy read and real ingredients and super filling. the price point is a bit high as i purchased at around $12 per meal so thats a downside. Still great to have for emergency or camping.

  • QUICK, TASTY, FILLING MEAL.
    This meal heats up very quickly. One does need a sharp knife to open the sealed top. I ate it directly out of the container it came in and it was truly filling with a piece of Challah Bread to soak up the gravy. Very flavorful, but not too salty. I also had a fresh green salad with it so it really was a complete meal. I will definitely purchase these meals again to keep on hand for times when I can’t get out of the house to buy fresh food, to enjoy a “restaurant style” meal without fussing over it myself, or if I am short on time and just have enough time to toss together a salad and cut some bread. In addition, these meals have a long shelf life so they are good to keep around in a pinch or if you are going somewhere and are not sure about where you will be able to eat.
  • It’s hearty
    If you are a meat and potatoes person and work late too tired for take out or delivery (or not in a delivery area like me), I am very happy to pop this in the microwave while I take a shower. Eat it with a glass of wine and then fall into bed. You don’t need to add anything to jazz it up. It is what it is and if you take it for what it is it’s delicious. Absolutely the best survival food I’ve eaten. Big portion no fuss and it’s there when you need it.
  • Beef stew good, stuffed cabbage not so much…
    I ordered both the Beef Goulash (which is more correctly described as stew, not goulash) and the stuffed cabbage. Honestly, I was afraid I was going to hate both of them, so I was happily surprised to find that the “goulash” was reasonably good. Very heavy on the potatoes, but still, reasonably tasty and hearty. A very satisfying lunch for work during Passover, easy to transport, heat, no worries about dishes, etc. Would/will definitely buy again.Unfortunately, the stuffed cabbage not so much. Which made me very sad because 1) I was hungry and 2) I was really hoping to like it since stuffed cabbage is a favorite of mine. Alas, this just didn’t do it for me. It wasn’t dry, in fact, it was swimming in sauce. But the meat was kind of a funny texture and the flavor wasn’t to my taste. I ate the one I heated because I was very hungry but I think I will either donate or toss the other.
  • It’s no longer good. I will not trust it again.
    It so overcooked, the potatoes are mushy. I can’t describe the chicken. I couldn’t eat it. There was an orange piece of mush in it that may have been a carrot at one time. From the taste, I cannot say for sure it was carrot. The flavor was still adequate, so I dumped the bad. Tasting chicken and added beef hot dog to the potatoes to at least get a meal out of it.

    The goulash was bland and I got something like dirt crunching between my teeth. The beef stuffed cabbage didn’t look like it at all. Oh my, the gravy taste like vinegar but the beef tast ok. Thank you KJ Poultry for your try, sorry to say I won’t become your customer.

    Like I mentioned for another item of the same, but just a little different, seeing as how I have lots of friends who are of the Jewish religion that like to visit me, I try to make sure I have plenty of these on hand. I find them quite tasty myself, which presents that problem of making sure to have them on hand for my friends… lol ????

    The beef was not fully cooked. One side was still pink/rare. Honestly not a good value either.

The wafer has no taste and the juice oddly enough slightly tastes like wine yet very delicious. Great value for a great product!!!

    Absolutely awful! I bought this to take communion at home with my children, and we all agree the taste is terrible. I hate to feel this way consuming something in rememberance of our Lord, but it’s the truth. We have managed to push through as to not be wasteful. But every single day it’s miserable. The juice is like a sour, rancid taste. I confirmed it’s not expired so perhaps it’s just awful ingredients?! Will not purchase again! Bought this due to price point on support of a smaller business. Unfortunately we will be switching back to our tried and true brand for communion. Really wanted to have a positive review!

    Summary: Communion is done in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.     I was not happy with the taste of the juice. It looked murky, and did not taste fresh. expiration date for August, got in June. Thought I would try to help a small business.

    These are great if you need to easily and quickly hand out communion, as there is no waiting in line or needing anyone to get it ready or anything. The taste is great, it tastes like communion juice, and the wafers are fine as well. They look really high quality, the plastic is not flimsy and they stay fresh for a long time. They’re quite small but it’s communion so. It is actually a perfect proportion. You are paying for convenience mostly. You’ll have to decide whether or not that is worth it to you, but overall it’s a high quality product if it fits your/your church’s needs.

    The grape juice has sat so long its vinegar . Wouldn’t recommend this.
  • Too difficult to open the wine
    It is next to impossible to open the seal on the wine. I have been handing out pliers so the cup can be opened. Also the wine is rather sour.

    These are perfect (I’ll update on taste – even tho, we all know that’s not the important part).There’s 25 individual cups (tried to use a clothes pin to show how small they are); I got these for my family because it’s very important to us that they participate in the Lords Table every other week, and, somehow/someway we’ve been missing it every month..   • I am a little torn on the concept of these.
    So, I get that these are for a very specific purpose, and I get that because of that reason they don’t really have to be logical. However, they are pretty wasteful. Lots of plastic, little gain.The tabs can be a bit difficult to use. I think this is an improvement over past versions but they could be yet improved more. Press down on the tab until you hear a snap, then lift it up to get the wafer. After that pull the rest up to get the juice.Speaking of wafer, I am not sure if there is any “requirement” that it be wheat? But it looks and tastes like exactly nothing it’s so processed, so it should be a rice cracker that way more people could eat it. It would taste, feel, and look identical if it were. Given that this entire thing is symbolic rather than actual I think this would allow more people to feel included. Then again I guess God is the one who made those specific people allergic to this ceremony, so what do I know.The juice is quite good, none of them were spoiled or in any way bad. I put these in the freezer and pop them out as juice ice cubes. The first half I fermented into actual wine just to see if it had preservatives. It didn’t or had so little that it still worked. So the quality is good.
