This kit makes cleaning my K&N filter super easy. I just sprayed it on, let it sit a few minutes, rinsed it out, let the filter dry, then added the oil. The dirt washed right out and the red oil makes it easy to see when it is coated evenly.After reinstalling the filter, my truck runs smoother and feels like it breathes better. I’ve been using KNN air filters for 20 years. This recharge kit is wonderful and at a great price. The instructions are easy to follow and allows. You to reuse the filter multiple times.

I had read several videos and k&n how-to video. All said the pump on cleaner was hard to use, similar to finger pump on hair spray bottle. Pump was usable but hard to use, especially when primed it leaked drops of cleaner out of pump mechanism with every pump. Definitely a cheap, poor design. I changed position so leaking cleaner fell on filter being cleaned instead of running down my hand. Sprayed (and dribbled) filter both sides, let soak 10 minutes, rinsed out with lo pressure hose, let drybhanging up for 2 hours. Aerosol spray oil worked good, lightly coating both sides. Soaked in until dry, wiped down edges. Looked good, will see when put back in.

This works very well and is super easy to use. It goes on red so you know how much coverage you have and if you sprayed the whole filter. It didn’t seem to stain anything I accidentally got the oil on, which was a plus. Highly recommend this.

Worked great to clean and re-oil my K&N Filter. Lesson learned: be patient with the oil and don’t use too much. It will soak in more than it seems upon application. I ended up having to wait a while for the oil to drip out after I used too much.

K&N cleaning kit works as it states on the instructions. Simple as spraying on and rinsing off. The cleaning fluid and oil provided has plenty for multiple applications, so you will save money in the long run.

I suppose to get the dry filter cleaner so I got me the wrong kind but that is on me. Great product clean on spot so the oil I did not used.

The product fits and worked well with my CTEK MXS 5.0. Connects well with the connections and helped keep the charger out of the heat and sun. It’s a pretty quality product.

This cable is useful to run the battery charger from an outlet far away. I combined this with the battery terminal adapter so that I can charge my car through this wire sticking near the windshield wiper area from the hood. It works pretty well to keep my car charged up. I have lojack and a few other items that are always on leaving my battery drained all the time… I appreciate being able to keep my car battery charged and in good condition whenever I need it.

I ordered 3 items: CTEK MXS 5.0 battery charger and maintainer, this extension cable and the 12 volt adapter. Rather than sent to my home I had them delivered to a nearby Whole Foods store. Delivery was prompt, picking up at the store was easy and everything works as advertised. Very pleased with purchase!

This extension made it MUCH EASYER to maintain my battery during the winter months. It works GREAT.

Have not used yet but like the length as it will be permanently attached to battery via the short section that comes with the creek unit that bolts onto the battery terminals. I think the opposite end should have the protective end cap installed when not plugged into the charger cord.

I installed this in my SUV with just a little bit showing from under the hood. Very convenient. A word of caution, you WILL drive off and forget to disconnect. I did and dragged my charger down the driveway. So now I place a plastic water bottle on my hood – can’t miss it.

Great fit on my 3.2 911 (at maximum diameter). The flange is thick and can be tightened down well, the filter itself is well made and well, it does what it says on the tin.

On my Sonoma the line would just pop off the clutch. I found that someone ordered a n-3 X 48” hose and two adapters to make it all works. fine for about six months now. I feel like the clutch is finally fixed. I would tell everybody to do what I did.

I installed these front brake pads and rotors in my 2010 Toyota Corolla S Model with the 1.8 liter engine. I work on a lot of cars and have had really good experiences with this brand, Power Stop, in the past. They’re one of the better online brake parts brands. These installed easily and were a good fit to vehicle. The included hardware is high quality. I followed the recommended break in procedure (see pictures) and they initially didn’t feel that great. The Corolla they went into has 145k miles so I bled the brakes and that was my problem. After I bled the brakes and got all the old fluid out of the system, these brakes felt amazing with really great stopping power. The old rotors were warped which made my brake peddle pulse and vibrate. These are great brake parts and I really recommend them.

I cross-referenced the mfr. oil filter part number to several oil filter models. When I saw K&N listed, I immediately chose them. Why? The company has a great reputation for quality products, the oil filter is Made in USA, and it has a one-inch removal nut welded onto the casing.I then went to their web site and compared filter specs. to the models listed on the cross-reference. Having looked at a few filters at a local auto parts store, I decided that either the HP-1004 or the KN-198 would do the job. Ultimately, I chose the HP-1004.After removing the generic — blown seal — piece of pure garbage that a previous owner had purchased, I installed the K&N HP-1004, making sure to tighten to Yanmar specification. (Hand tighten until the filter gasket seats against the mount point and tighten 3/4 to 1-1/4 turn.)When the oil and filter change was completed, I tested for leaks with a test drive. No leaks!I plan on evaluating the K&N KN-198 oil filter at the next filter change. The KN-198 has a 17mm removal nut and a slightly smaller diameter. This will allow more clearance around a few parts on the engine and vehicle frame.

Just installed this past weekend and the car is running nice and smooth. Premium build and easy to install. Combined with a the K&N engine lifetime filter and good quality oil makes a great combo. Spend a couple extra bucks and go with this, your car will thank you.

K&N are quality filters, but for most daily-drivers they are probably not the best value. On some engines the filter placement is very tight or very odd. This is when the 1″ nut on the canister is a big time saver. If you change your own oil and have a couple vehicles like mine with odd placement, the 3-4$ premium is worth it. Then you don’t need to keep 4 different filter wrench cups and straps in your tool chest. Just use a cheap 1″ combo.On my 6.0L Silverado, the filter is recessed so a strap wrench is useless if the filter is on tight. With K&N I can quickly pop it loose with a 1″ combo.Same with my 3.6 Subaru. The filter is under a skid-plate, longitudinally placed, with about 1/2″ clearance from a sensor. Rather than pulling off the plate to use a strap, I can run a 1″ combo up through the maintenance hole and pop the filter off easily.Note: Do not use the canister nut to over-tighten your oil filter. Hand-tight + a 1/4 turn is usually plenty.

I have been purchasing K&N filters for my cars since I was 16. The quality and reliability of this brand is exactly what I look for, for my daily driver as well as my project car. I’m never disappointed what I’ve bought from K&N. Use oil filters are easy to remove and easy to install and my car always drive so much happier after putting a new filter in. I can’t say enough good things!
