Blends in very well. I had to sand a little first because of the damage but seemed to cover it up well. I didn’t use the brush it came with, instead I used a small art brush. It didn’t appear to match at first but when it dried it looked really good.

I scratched a little area on my all black matte rims. I did some research to see what can I do without taking it to a shop. Well look no further. This product worked like a gem. You can’t tell I covered the scratch.

Like many others I also was not real happy when my rim got scratched.???? After it sunk in for a couple days I realized that this is gonna happen sooner or later. Better the rim than the side of my head. ???? So, after looking at a few repair paint options I ordered this one. Mostly because it got a favorable review on a 2024 black Honda Civic repair and I have 2024 black Ridgeline. I was pleasantly surprised after I did the paint repair. NO it does not remove the deeper scrapes. But, it did hide them very well. I followed the instruction to the letter, glad I did. I have posted 3 picture here far, medium and close. Just walking by and looking a person would not know it had been scraped. You would know because you’re intimate with it but only you. It was worth the 10 bucks. I put the tube of paint into a ziplock bag and into the refidgerator. Hopefully it won’t be hardened next time I need it. So, yes go for it, if I can you can.

Used the black glossy version on the black wheels of my 2022 Ford Explorer ST and it definitely passes the 5 foot test, and would be even better if I had taken the time to sand down the ridges from the curb rash. Instructions definitely converted from probably Chinese, but the product seems to work. No info on how long this will last since I just put it on.

Good for touching up. It’s a good match for my fiancé’s 2024 Civic Sport wheels. You can see all the filler on the wheel. After painting, it looks really good.Not noticeable when standing 1-3 feet away. It’s been a few months now and it still looks good. Then you can see that she hit another curb after I filled and repainted the wheel. I have enough touch up paint to cover the scratches.

This high gloss paint I think is very well good quality it is held up on my vehicle on my rims for touch up very good. So I recommend this because it’s not the shiniest paint but it’s semi glossy not high gloss but semi-gloss so it really depends you if you’re having paint touch up on your Rim that might look different because of this paint otherwise it’s good quality I like it and it holds up well

It may look a bit funny up close on my black matte rims, but it’s definitely doable! It’s like painting nails—transformative and creative for your ride.

This is the first time I’ve tried a waterless wash/wax spray. Prior to this I’d been using my power washer/foam gun to wash the car, which worked well but was a lot of work to not even get a “fresh wax” look. My initial concern with waterless wash/wax was that it wouldn’t really “clean” the car but just cover up or spread around the ick. Additionally, I wasn’t confident it would clean glass as well as a wash or glass cleaner. After reading the reviews of several different sprays though, I decided it would be worth a shot. This one stood out from the others in the reviews -it seemed to give consistent results and not leave streaks behind. And yes, it worked exactly as expected. Easy to apply, and the instructions were straightforward.There’s a lot of physical labor that goes into getting it done correctly (that or I’m fat), but I still took some shortcuts. I sprayed larger areas and then wiped them down, opposed to the recommended ‘small’ areas. As long as you move quick enough with the drying, it doesn’t seem to make a difference. It certainly sped things up and I still got great results (no streaks, no gunk left behind, great shine). Funny story: When I was working on the hood, I set the bottle down on a section that I’d already waxed. The bottle slid off the hood lol. That would not have happened on an unwaxed section. Slick, shiny, and appears to cover up swirls.My compact SUV used up about half the bottle for one wax. I applied it in my garage, at night, with no issues. My car is black so, if there were going to be any issues applying it, it would’ve happened to me. I went through 6 of the 12″x12″ microfiber cloths (3 wet, 3 dry) that I purchased for this. The wet ones were nice and dirty which was a relief given my initial concerns. The glass was spotless. 0 streaks. Since I was applying it in a half-lit garage, there were a couple spots that I touched up on, but that was likely user error and had nothing to do with the product.Depending on how long it lasts (this is Day 1), this could be a product that I use long term. I saw one review that said it lasted two months, but with their being rain and snow in my area I’m interested to see how long it lasts. If it lasts a month I’ll be more than happy. I’ll update this when it’s time to re-apply the next coat. So far though, easily a 10/10. Hopefully they start selling refills of this in Gallon size, because 16oz won’t last long.

To start: I did not receive this product free, nor was I compensated in any way. It’s a shame this has to be said.In full transparency, I used this on on an 8 month old 2018 Mazda CX-5 with a premium factory paint (Soul Red Crystal). The paint is pretty impeccable condition, so if you’re using this on an older car, you may have more noticeable results (whether good or disappointing, depending on your paint quality.).Overall, I think this is an above average quick detailer spray, albeit a slightly pricy one. I do think the shine quality is a notch above something like Griot’s, but just barely.Product applied easily and wiped off easily with absolutely no hazing or streaking. Bonus points that you can use this to treat your wheel, windows, and trim as well. Added a slightly deeper depth to the paint, but no more than a full claybar and coat of quality wax would do (though this is less work).As I spent a few hours washing the car and about twenty minutes applying this, you’ll have to wait for an update as to how well this “ceramic” spray beads up water as I’m not undoing my work! That may change it to a 4/5 star review if it sheets off well.I don’t know that I’d spend $20 again on this. The results are decent but not as awe-inspiring as viral marketing may lead you to believe. Take that at face value, as my car’s paint is nearly brand new and we’ll maintained, so your mileage may vary. Nothing is a replacement for a day’s worth of clay barring and waxing.UPDATE: after applying two coats of this a few weeks ago, we had a late-season snowstorm Saturday, followed by constant rain. I added additional photos today to show how much this product beads water. I was floored. I have never waxed this car since I leased it last August- it never beaded up this well. I’ve adjusted to five/five stars. I recommend without hesitation.

I ordered this product, not knowing what to expect. I’m disabled so I can’t use a wax that takes a lot of muscle to rub into the car and then wait for it to dry and rub it off. I have to say this was as simple as it gets spray it on wipe it off. My car was left. Very very shiny. I can’t say anything negative about this product. I’m very pleased with it.

This is my third bottle of Shine Armor — and I’ve given a few friends and family as gifts. It works great! No smudging, leaves the car clean and shiny, and is perfect for in-between washes. Unlike MAXLONE, this one truly is “spray, wipe, done”!

Easy to use. Product was sealed well so there was no danger of leakage in shipping. While the product was good for overall cleaning, I was hoping it could remove water spots. After several applications hoping for a better outcome than the previous application, it did not. Final decision on the product was that it cleaned but didn’t do a superior job overall.

Arrived promptly, I applied it this morning to my 2021 GMC pickup (used about 20% of the bottle) and was surprised with how well it worked. Not sure how it will hold up over time but so far I am really impressed. It looks like glass and works well on paint, glass and plastic.

Easy to use. Spray, wipe with wet towel, gently buffer with dry rag, and repeat. Coated the entire car in 30 minutes without a lot of effort. No streak. The car looks new instantly. The product smells good making the process pleasurable. The coating stays very well so far after a week under the hot sun. Happy with the product.

It took me a while to commit to trying this paint. I love my old swivel chairs…they’ve always been a great style & conversation piece to my room…but with chihuahuas on the arms and sun in the room for 8 years (plus the 20-30 years prior to my owning them) well…the royal purple of them became more the color of grape Big League Chew after you’ve had it in your mouth for an hour (who can do that, even?) anyway…I don’t have the money to get them reupholstered they way I want to…with covid, no one is coming to the house to do it and shipping them would be insane…but I’m OCD and the arms and color were killing me. So…I researched the heck out of ANY paint or covering I could use on my cushions. The link that won me over was a fella’ that used it to redo the black velvet seats in his classic car. I figured…well, if it worked well for him, I would give it a go on my “classic” chairs. I read his tutorial and a few others, and all the reviews here. Everyone IS correct: it doesn’t leave softer material soft. Now, I REALLY covered the crap out of mine. I had a “waffle” 70s fabric on these chairs – basically, the surface was like a Triscut cracker. So, I sprayed it in one direction, waited a few mins “combed” it with a high end leather brush, then sprayed in the opposite direction, waited a few mins, then “combed” it again. THEN I used a “round brush” I used to use for my hair – a medium sized one. Scratchy bristles. The kind of brush you can use to get fuzz and lint off of surfaces (yes! It works! It will also brush your wool blankets soft, too!). I did this to “soften” the paint, so it didn’t pool in the divots of the fabric. I did use a LOT of it the first time…like a can for one side of the cushion. I used less on the second cushion…with the caveat by that time I HAD to use enough to make the cushions match. I let them dry overnight – and then did a final spray and let that dry during the day in the sun a bit. I’ve never seen it come off on my hands or clothing. I’ve vacuumed it and it doesn’t crack. There is no “dust” that comes off it – that I can see. I can STILL run a brush over it to get lint off, without any harm coming to it, and no loss of color. Yes, it IS a little hard to the touch, but honestly, the chairs are for looking, not sitting generally…except for the dogs, and the dogs actually don’t seem to be ruining the paint either – they’ve “nested” in them – to my shock and surprise!!!!!! – but nothing happened. They’re still happy to sit there and, when I’ve completed the project, I’m sure I’ll sit on them, too (I’m painting the entire chair, but trying to reupholster the arms with Turkish rug material, as opposed to reupholstering all of it). I will try to post again when the entire chair is done, but the cushions turned out great so far, so I am posting in case anyone was wondering if this would work for something INDOOR. Again, would I want to paint my couch with it…that I sit on everyday…probably not. But, for a weird old fabric that was wool-based anyhow and that needed a POP of color in an affordable and DOABLE way (I’m adventurous with projects but…have to be confident I can do them without ruining something before I go for it), well…it was 100% what I was looking for. I ordered 6 more cans of it (I think I have 10?) to do the rest of the chairs. It’ll be a project that cost me less than $100. I think if I can get the entire chair looking as good as the cushions, it’ll be well worth it for the “wow factor” of the before and after. And really, this burgundy color is quite beautiful. Give it a try! ^_^

This stuff works amazing! Used this along with the adhesion promoter to paint the trim pieces in my 1984 firebird. Sticks really well. Is flexible. And looks great!

Okay I was having so many issues with this paint until I figured out what the actual problem was. Me personally I live in Florida and it gets very humid here. Do not use this when it is humid it just won’t work on anything. But I ended up wasting like three cans trying to paint two doors until I said let me try this tomorrow and it was nice and dry outside and it just took one coat and now it’s perfectly black. This paint absolutely works and will work for you it’s very good just don’t use it while it’s humid or moist outside. Don’t wet the fabric either before trying to use this wait till things are completely dry and then use this and it’ll work wonders it’s so easy and finishes so well as long as everything is dry when you’re painting. It can get wet afterwards and be fine. But this stuff works wonders I tried it on fabric on my vinyl on the plastic bonds well looks uniform no one even splotches even when I’m not doing that even of a job this thing is so easy and it’s like perfect beginner paint transform your interior for your car in literal seconds. My only complaint is that some of the spray nozzles are oriented weirdly they’re not all the same it will not spray in the same direction one bottle will spray horizontally another will spray vertically another will spray diagonally so something to keep in mind too.

Ordered this for gas mask components (valve caps, covers, outsert rings etcetera), so far it’s working great! Can didn’t become a grenade like others had issues with but it can still be possible if others had issues.Tried to spray a full GP5 and unsurprisingly the paint didn’t stick at all, but for a chemical hood it did actually surprisingly really good. Dried within maybe 25 minutes.Even with all of this, I feel like what makes my specific product I recieved as bad as it was, is that every here or there it would spray another colour. For example on a couple parts it sprayed out a pink, and on the cardboard I used there were purple blots and marks. I didn’t experience others’ issues but I did have that personally.Otherwise I think any issues I had were mostly because I’ve never used spraypaint before! (Ignore the giant white running blob on my black mask, it was intentional!)

Paint quality is great, not too watery unless you spray too much as once. No leakage on mine. Adheres great to even flimsy fabric. Went on thick enough to change the color of these costume pants.

The color matched up perfectly with the matte black of my wheels. I used the brush to apply it which was easy to use. Everything blended nice and smooth. It dried quickly and works well. Now my wheels look like new again.

Just an incredible product. Used it to touch up my dj speakers and worked like a charm!! Very, very durable too with no prep needed.

My 2012 Nissan Altima had some paint that had come off and in some spots the areas were pretty good size. So I decided to start looking for a good paint (marker) to try and fix it myself. I got my cars paint color from the label inside my cars door frame and ordered this product in that exact color Brilliant Silver K23 and it matched my car exact!! I followed the directions and did about 3 layers letting it dry in-between each application. It turned out awesome and i could not be more happy! If you didn’t know prior that paint was missing on those areas you would never be able to tell cause it blends that good!! Im very happy with this product due to the color match and the easy application and will definitely order more if my paint continues to peel off in any other areas.

We have two old (02 & 98) vehicles with over 200k miles. You can see from the before photos of both vehicles that the rock chips were rusted and looked pretty bad. Although the result is far from perfect, the improvement was remarkable for the cost & effort. You can still see the painted-over chips, but they no longer draw your eye and look fine at a glance. The tool comes with a chisel tip to rough up the surface, but I used a Dremel tool due to the extremely large number of rock chips. Each vehicle took several hours and look way better than before.The tool also comes with clear coat, which worked extremely well on other scratches. I learned from Youtube (Chrix Fix) that you can tell whether a scratch is just in the clear coat by getting it wet. If the water makes the scratch disappear, then the scratch is only in the clear coat layer (not in paint or primer) and can be fixed with the clear coat brush in this tool. It is extremely easy to use and several scratches are completely gone, though they looked pretty bad before.I have practically no experience with automotive paint, and this tool was really easy to use and made our vehicles look way less like heaps. These cars are not worth the cost of a proper paint job, which is what would fix it right. However, it does make them look much more respectable for their few remaining years with our family.It is really easy – go for it!!Update: This review is for the white color, which I (obviously ?) didn’t use on the silver car. Also, my case is for two horrible looking paint jobs that went to ‘passable at a quick glance’. In other words, it didn’t take much to make a big improvement for the paint. The scratches are another matter. This clear coat works like magic!Finally, go see Chris Fix (and others) on Youtube for a comprehensive approach to scratch repair. My old vehicles are too far gone to warrant that level of care, so the All-in-one was plenty good enough.

A good match for my 2008 F-150 with paint code “DX” which is a dark blue. The match was not perfect, but it was good enough. This paint goes on easily enough and dries fast. I like the included clear coat. This touch up paint doesn’t hide the scrapes and dings on my truck but it makes the damage look much less obvious. My only complaint is the $18 price. What a total rip off.

I like how fine point the tip is to avoid applying too much. It is the exact color of my Toyota RAV4. I have used it on a couple of rock chips on my car and the job was easy. I also have some small stratches on my passenger side that I will do soon. It dries quickly.

I don’t write reviews. But this is the best there is. Keep in mind that both ends up, one is base paint, one is the sparkle and tri coat. It will not be perfect, but it beats 3,000 for a paint job. The color is perfection, it’s the texture from the scratch that I couldn’t hide. But still, if you’re not three inches from it staring at it, you won’t notice it.

I got this for a Ford that is a pearlescent white. If you use this color alone, it will NOT match the car’s original color if the scratch is anything more than superficial. If you’re down to bare metal or black plastic, you have more work to do.I got this to paint a replacement backup sensor that comes unpainted (black plastic). In order to get it to match, I sprayed the sensor with primer, let that dry. Then I sprayed the primer with plain white. Next, I used the product being reviewed here since it adds the metallic/pearlescent finish. Finally, you have to clearcoat it or it will be a matte finish.If you just brush this on anything other than a white finish, it will just be metallic silver. You must also add a gloss to it.The finished product once you do everything properly, is a very good match to the original, but you can’t just smear this stuff on by itself.The only part I didn’t like is that the consistency is a lot runny. If you’re not careful, the surface will not be even. Also, it will take at least two light coats applied gently. The stuff in the pen has a lot of solvent and will remove the white layer below if you’re not careful. One quick brushstroke and be done.In the photo, you can see the upper right (old) sensor side was primed and painted with the Duplicolor brush. It is silver, not white. On the face of the sensor, you can see the actual car color. On the lower left sensor side, you can see a sloppy test with primer, white, and Duplicolor (did not gloss the test part).

Use for touch ups rather than restoration. Improves the ugly curb scratches looks. Certainly an inexpensive option.The videos were helpful-easy to apply paint. Haven’t run the car thru the wash rack yet-hope it lasts.

I have a 2012 Scion TC with 220K miles on it. Somehow I stupidly rode along a granite curb with both right wheels, causing major rim scraping and a flat tire. I thought I ruined the right side of my car. But, I replaced the tire for a reasonable price and had my car aligned. What really stuck out was the rim scrapes (more like gouges).The standard rim color for a black Scion TC is charcoal. But, the charcoal in this kit looked too dark. So, I matched the color on the included color chart with the wheels and it looked most like Dark Silver.I really thought this was going to look awful since I did so much damage, but it actually came out great! I just followed the instructions, taped it off, sanded with the sanding block, wiped it with the rubbing alcohol, repeated, and painted, and repeated that as well. I took off the masking tape a couple of hours later and voila! I won’t says good as new, but from a distance, you can not tell there is damage.

I don’t know how since I don’t park by curbs…..but my 2023 Subaru BRZ limited got a road rash wound on the rounded edge of the alloy wheel about 8 in long. Very rough. I was not happy.The wheel is a hard to match dark grey but I have to admit that the Satin Dark Grey from this kit matched perfectly. I am very pleased.Although you can get all the pieces of the kit separately, I did find it convenient to get all the pieces I need at one time. The sponge sandpaper worked well for me and the masking tape was adequate. But I am happiest about the color and quality of the paint….at least so far. Since I just painted it today, I will revise this review if anything surprising occurs.Should have taken a before and after pic. It is not perfect in terms of surface smoothness. But that is probably more due to me not wanted to sand it too flat since the edge of the wheel is rounded. With the tire installed I could not mold the sponge to sand the rounded edge properly. So sanding mostly just flattened the rounded edge a bit which I tried to avoid. More than a foot or 2 away I could not tell the difference since the color matched so perfectly.Recommended……

This product could be so much better but it did fix the problem if you look at the tire from a distance. Be prepared to use your own masking tape as the one in the kit is worthless. Not very sticky, kept curling up, Use your own detail brush because the foam tip on this brush is flimsy and as I knew it would , it came off during the painting. Lastly the paint is not good. If it were self-leveling it would be perfect. Fill in the grooves and give an even coat. However, this is more like cheap model/hobby paint. It is tacky, doesn’t spread well. The main thing is that it covered the white scratches on a glossy black wheel so it’s not so noticeable. But, don’t look closely. (a second coat was applied after the photo on the right; the picture did not come out right due to glare, but it does look better). Saved me about $150 for a professional road rash repair.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I thought I must on this product. I needed to repair some major curb rash and this product was not up to the task. First issue was only one paint tip included. Basically all I had was a paint paint pen tip. There was no brush in my kit. This caused the paint to go on very thin and would not match the black paint.

Was skeptical about when buying but this actually covered a pretty nasty curb rash very well. Comes with everything you need.

This stuff is amazing. I use it on alot of my automotive metals. I’ve even tried it out on 3d prints in the past with plastic adhesion promoter. I see some reviews where people say it runs too easy….yes it is thin because it has to be to give that shine from the metal or base coat. You have to be patient and dust it. If you miss a spot while dusting then just wait the ten minutes and dust it again. Do not spray a heavy coat! If your painting metal and it starts to dull out then once done painting, bake in the oven around 80-100 degrees for at least 30 minutes. The color will come back. It dulls easily with humidity or too much uncured heavy paint under the next coat. For instance, my red was turning a dull purplish. I finished painting and baked in the oven and the color came back better than ever afterwards. I highly recommend baking. It enhances the color and shine while making it more permanent. I also shoot gloss high heat ceramic coating on mine and then a color coat over the ceramic. It seems to withstand heat alot better. This stuff really is a good paint if done correctly. Just have patience with it is the key and bake it once done….do not bake plastic though lol. Idk you may be able to but I haven’t tried that out. Ive posted some of my new pieces I’ve done. In the past I’ve painted exhaust pieces and still today, six months later, the color is still holding up well on a motorcycle exhaust.

I love this paint. I wanted a true Christmas red, and this was perfect! It made my large ornaments made from old lamp globes and chandelier parts look so high end. I love the 10 minute wait time between coats. It dries so fast and goes on so smoothly. I did use a whole can for just these two ornaments, but it was a bit windy when I was spraying outside so that may be part of it. I wish it came in gold. I’d buy more!

Great paint that makes metal look anadized

Works fantastic on metallic surfaces; I would say this paint is more like a tint and is very thin, so apply in light thin coats until desired color/darkness is achieved. can use a metallic paint like gold or silver to make a surface have the required look it needs to really shine. I have used this for painting razor dirt bike frames and plastic, and used it for painting 3D printed helmets and props. My only complaints are that the paint will run very easily, its more like a tint so you need to apply in very thin layers. It also chips really easily, more so on metal surfaces than 3d prints. I have tried adding a clear coat to help prevent chipping but the clear coat makes no difference.

Because the paint is transparent the color underneath will show through. I painted directly over new calipers and the color started off very light blue. It gets darker with every coat. I used 6 coats to get it as close to the cap color as possible.The spray nozzle gives a perfect v shaped spray, just like a paint gun, and it works in any orientation. Which is very helpful when getting good coverage on an awkwardly shaped part like a brake caliper.One can was more than enough for my front calipers, but I don’t know if I’ll have enough for when i do the rears.10/10, would purchase again

Where is the quality? I don’t mean about the color, because the color is perfect. But why do I have to suffer through the fact that it will not stop spraying after i’m done? I had to yank the head off of the spray can to make it stop and even then, it kept spitting red paint everywhere. Amazing, perfect coverage, very beautiful bud.I don’t need to get covered in paint when i’m using a spray can. I ask, where is the quality. I am literally typing this right now. As the can empties itself upside down without a nozzle on it, because it wouldn’t stop spraying, but it also wouldn’t stop spitting its paint out of it. I love the color. It coded perfectly. But I did not need to have my fingers covered along with everything else near me when I was trying to make it stop spraying. This is worse than 3m products. That literally stick to nothing but human skin. And ten years ago I would have spent half as much. I’m really really mad. But darn, the projects I was working on, look amazing.. I bought a second can that arrived yesterday. This can will not spray anything at all! If I could give zero stars, I would give zero stars. Thank you so much for and a half cans of paint that I cannot use.

I don’t know if i got the wrong color or if this just low quality paint. I followed the directions fine, this is multiple coats on a metallic surface and it just looks red and not like anodized copper. It runs very easy but also dries quickly.Definitely not worth 20 bucks but its to late to go back now.

I scrapped the front spoiler of my car on a curb. Many white marks too deep to remove with scratch repair, rubbing compound, etc. I’ve used the small touch up bottles before for paint repair, but they are not smooth and leave obvious paint lines on the repair. Decided to do a full spray of 1/4 of the spoiler with Victory Red Dupli-Color.Before doing so I watched several videos on auto paint repair. A few points that stand out from the videos. Preparation is key. The paint area has to be degreased and absolutely clean. Light coats are better than heavy coats. You need to use primer and clear coat if you want a professional finish. To that end, I applied two coats of primer, four coats of paint, and two coats of clear coat. The color matched perfectly and from a distance you would not know the spoiler had been painted. Up close, the painted area is a bit higher in texture due to the 8 coats of primer, paint and clear, but I wanted to assure the paint would not peel, which is a common paint repair problem particularly on composite nonmetallic parts. If you want a smoother finish, a coat of primer, two coats of primer of paint and one or two coats of clear may work better.The paint itself is an exact match. I did not use Dupli-Color primer or clear, but rather a name brand substitute. This worked fine. If you decided to take on this project, make sure you have a respirator. This paint definitely has more fumes than regular spray paint. Also, paint on a day when you can keep you garage door open. I don’t recommend spraying outside as this increases the chance of overspray. Mask off everything you don’t want painted and tarp your floor as the spray will descend on a wide area of the floor.With a little bit of patience, work and adherence to directions, anyone can do this project. My guess for a body shop to do a similar project would be around $500, as they would remove the spoiler and likely paint the entire spoiler. Time and labor add up even on small repair projects. I know this from experience as the same car was t-boned by someone who ran a red light and the repair costs was $18,000, most of it body and paint related. I paid $40 for all paint and masking tape. Save yourself some money and do it yourself.

This product is the perfect match even if I didn’t do a perfect job. I had a big rusty dent on the back of my truck and I wanted it to stop rusting away. I wasn’t sure about this product but with the price being low it was worth trying. It’s easy to use, clean. I sanded it, primed it, then spray painted it, and finally applied a clear gel coat. As I said, not the perfect job, but close enough and good enough. Saved mesome money.

It says perfect match and it basically is. Shake well and might need a few light sprays–not too heavy at a time. Color matches fine, but finish isn’t the same so noticeable close up. This is a Mercury Grand Marquis that Ford did a terrible job in preparing the metal at the factory so all the Mercury and Fords that year peeled. This covered up the frequent peels until it was so bad I had to repaint the whole car. But it is perfect match.

I’ll just get the negative part of this review over with now. When I received the can I couldn’t help but notice it was about half the size of any other spray paint can. With that said I had more than enough for one guitar. Now with out of the way. It went on effortlessly. Nice smooth, even coats and dried amazingly fast. Didn’t have any fish eye. Slight over spraying with the metal base coat but that was my fault and was easily sanding out. The thing is in order to get it to look good you need to get all the prep work done correctly. If you don’t it’s your fault you did a shitty job. Not the paint. Of course you are going to want to use a primer first. Then they sell something called metal cast 100. Very important. You need to use this stuff if you are spraying anything not metal like wood. if you want your color coat to look like metallic red. It’s the color of metallic silver so when you spray your transparent red over it you get the metallic look. Second anyone who says that the paint or the nozzle doesn’t flow evenly. Here’s a tip that will save you a lot of time and hassle. They have these attachments for $5 a piece that attaches to any spray paint can and turns the uneven spraying into fine and even coats as if you were using a paint gun. If you are trying to paint something with a rattle can and you keep have problems with running paint and/or overspray and you don’t use this simple device I honestly have no sympathy for you. When used with one of those you will have great results. If you don’t then you have no one to blame but yourself. Also to those of you you have said the nozzle stopped working. Odds are the hole that the paint comes out of just has dried paint blocking the paint from coming out or coming out evenly. Simple soap and water should fix that (how did you swap one cap for another with this paint?). For best results remember this anocronym AKCMAlwaysKeepCanMovingNever let your hand stop moving if your finger is in that trigger. Especially with colors like these. Otherwise it will look uneven. Darker in some spots and lighter in others or the dreaded overpainting an area. If you make a mistake you don’t have to start over. Remember just be patient and let it dry and you can then just sand the mistake out.

P&S has a reputation for delivering quality detailing products at a fair price, and the Bead Maker Paint Sealant (1 Gallon) is no exception. Used as a topper, it does a fantastic job of enhancing gloss and creating tight water beading. It’s easy to apply with a simple spray-and-wipe method, and it leaves a slick finish that really makes paint pop.That said, in Arizona conditions, it has a few drawbacks. Because cars here dry almost instantly and our hard water leaves spots, I can’t really use it effectively as a drying aid. More importantly, it tends to attract dust — which is a big issue during our frequent dust storms. On my black vehicles, they can look brown overnight after using this. A good workaround is to mix it with P&S Dream Maker, which offsets the dust-clinging problem nicely.If your goal is maximum durability, you’ll get better long-term protection from a ceramic spray or coating (my personal favorite is the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic Spray). But as a quick topper for gloss and water beading, Bead Maker absolutely delivers, especially for the price.

I had a buddy turn me onto this (He didn’t buy it, he just sent me links to it and asked me what I thought). Since I’ve been an avid detailer for over 30 years, from what I saw, it looked interesting, so I bought a gallon of it (I never go small).Now, to be clear, I’m nobody’s disciple on car detailing products, but I do have my go-to’s and products that I consider to be very high quality. I do like a lot of the chemical guys products, especially their spray on detailers, glossers, etc. And of course, any Klasse products are high on the list, albeit far more work than most are willing to subscribe to.This P&S was interesting to me due to the water sheeting claims. And to be clear, it does sheet water pretty good, but no better than any other “Applied” Wax (like a good coat of klasse acrylic (Silver bottle), a good carnauba wax, or basically many of them, even the cheapest waxes will sheet water). Where this P&S product really excels is in the category of the EASE of application. It is very easy to apply, and who doesn’t like that? More so than that; when you do apply it the streaks are pretty much minimal, so it’s very forgiving and easy to work with..Of course, Step 1: Clean your car well! Nuff said on that..Step2: I recommend claying your car at least 3 times a year, at a minimum. If you don’t like to use actual clay (some don’t) then at least use those claying mitts, which work very well and they’re fast (sold on amazon, get the “fine” grade when it comes to grit). Plus the mitts don’t flag trim with clay scraps, so that’s a good part. Note: You don’t have to clay your car EVERY TIME you want to use the P&S, but it’s good to do it every once in a while, especially if you park it outside..Step 3: After claying and completely drying off the car (use an air compressor or leaf blower to get water out of all the cracks, seams, etc). Take a fine piled microfiber cloth (like a medium to large drying type cloth) and liberally spray on the P&S. Wipe it down quick, with minimal buffing. If it’s a reasonable mild day it should dry immediately and not streak. Remember, with this product there’s a difference between “Dry” and “Cure”..Now, when you apply it, at first you might not “Feel” like it’s that slippery, in fact, many of the “Detailers”, like the Chemical Guys Ultimate Synthetic detailer, or their “Glosser”, may in fact, seem slicker when applied.Where the P&S really comes into play is when it’s past drying and it’s CURED. Once it’s cured it feels like you just got a ceramic coating put on your car (No, I’ve never purchased Ceramic coatings, but felt them after being done, most of which you’d feel anyway just with the prep work done on any car, before the ceramic coating is applied.. Personally, if you take care of your car, to me, they’re kind of a waste of money, but that’s just my opinion)..Once the P&S is cured, about ~4 hours, you’ll really noticed the benefit of it. Run your fingers on it. Slick. I typically do two coats. It’s very fast and easy to apply, after claying and drying, one can do an entire car in about 15 minutes. Two coats a little more, obviously, 2nd coat goes on quicker..Remember; once it’s fully Cured is when the full benefit comes into play with this product. I recently was driving my car in some heavy rain, and it in fact did work similar to like a fresh coat of wax, so with that, I was very impressed. I do not believe, however, that it would last as long as something like a Klasse Acrylic type coating. But, since it’s so easy to apply, who cares, use it like a detailing spray and just do your car all the time; it’s quick and efficient and really not that expensive if you buy it in the gallon, buy a good sprayer, and go to town..Happy Detailing.

I originally bought a cheap TP tools gun that was a pain to use. It didn’t come with a cup, and it had odd threads, so the closest thing I could find, was always falling off. Needed to heat the Fluid Film to thin, and it would barely spray. It got tossed in the trash…. I ended up using a 2″ chip brush to apply the Fluid Film, to the undercarriage.Fast forward to this year…. I bought this based on the reviews and it’s a game changer! Cup locks on nicely, and flow is easily adjustable…. I set it, more out, than in. Set the regulator, so I was seeing 60psi, at the tip. Once I got the flow nozzle tweaked, I was leaving a heavy film in areas I had difficulty reaching, with the brush. I was done in less than 30 minutes.The ambient was probably around 75-80°, so the only heating I did was to place the can of FF in the sun for a bit, and it sprayed perfectly. I didn’t try the extension wands, but the gun is great!

This works excellent. I wish the 360 degree wand was as long as the other wand. The Kittmip 4 Pcs 20.87” 360 degree wands for $12.49 work as replacement wands. Buy them as you will need them eventually and they fit perfectly. This will fit in 1/2″ frame holes but not in door drain holes. You cannot fabricate smaller tubing wands to fit in door openings as it will not work properly with the back pressure that would cause.. But for the price it works excellent and really blasts out the product in the frame rails and also just cover spray. Worth it.

Unit construction is better than expected for this price point. It will not blow your socks off but it’s not paper thin.The regulator on my unit does nothing other than turn the air on or off. I have an external regulator off the tank, was not a deal breaker for me.Every connection on the gun needs to be removed and taped to prevent leaks.The adapters work for their intended purpose, the main sprayer functions very well.My intended use with this gun was to create my own adapter with a thin 90 degree wand for low pressure spray into door skins, rockers, frame, etc. The way this unit is designed will not allow that to work, because it needs a very specific amount of pressure inside the line. It just starts pressurizing the relief hole in the product reservoir with the small amount of restriction created by the different tip. I will not hold that against the product, they do not advertise any such capability. However, learn from my experience that the spray accessories for this gun cannot be modified in any way.Small issues, overall it does what it claims to do for a reasonable price. If you added a 90 degree wand accessory that allows you to do a complete professional job you could charge $100 for this unit and it would still be a deal. The included accessories are limiting, as they will not fit into any body skins. However, if all you need to do is flat surfaces like on a sedan floor, or simple equipment, this could be your perfect sprayer.

Worked great for Fluid Filming my 97 Jeep XJ that came to MI from AZ. For the price, can’t beat this gun it’s flippin’ awesome!!! Has everything you need w/ the nozzles ect. Cup closes securely, did not open when I didn’t want it to & I had it in all orientations while applying the Fluid Film. I did set the can of fluid film (and the bottom of the feed cup) in hot water before spraying as it was about 45f outside when applying.

Used this to undercoat my 94 c2500. Used it with blaster surface shield at 100 psi . Got the job done perfectly. The 360 spray wand coverage was a little too sparse, but better than doing nothing in the frame cavities. The direct spray wand was a GAME CHANGER, excellent for getting in every little space that giant bulky sprayer can’t. I’m no expert on these, but for the price I’m extremely happy with how my truck turned out.Only thing I will say is make sure the locking latch is pushed ALL THE WAY closed, or it could pop open and spill your precious undercoat all over????

Very impressed with how handy this is for undercoating my vehicles. One was older and I used oil and the other is new so I used fluid film. I can say enough about how pleased I am with this sprayer.

Finally used it by undercoating my truck for the second time. The pervious time I just used the cans with the adaptor on them which was a huge mess with leaks. This did not lead at all and yes you do get messy doing it, it worked very well once I got the pressure dialed in. It did seem to have a little bit of an issue getting the contents out of the container but it was a cool day around 50 deg. which probably didn’t help. Using this I ended up using less material than I did using the spay cans which saves money and can be reused over and over again.
