I waited a month after installing this before writing a review, because any changes always seem bad with anything new. I had a GE stovetop that lasted 24 years before the glass broke unexpectedly so I am comparing it to it. So here it is:Pros:1. Easy to install – Less than 1 hour and half of that time was just cleaning the surface and removing the old one. There is nothing complex changing these out if you are replacing an existing electric stovetop. There are only 2 hot wires and a ground. That should be true on your existing plug and what is coming out of the new stove top. Both wires are 110 each so either can go to either side. (No nuetral on 220). Mounting: There is no need to mount brackets. My old one popped up with a flat end screw driver and was just weight heavy holding it in place – so same thing with this. It doesn’t move just dropped it in after attaching felt edging that came with it. Note: It came with a scraper, mounting brackets and wire leads ready to attach to your old plug wires. I just attached the wire to where my old wires went to. SIMPLE. Nice!2. Matt coated top is just like my old GE that I had for 24 years. It never showed dirt or scratches that much even though it was old. A lot of the newer designs have a polished finish and they always look dirty. I didn’t want that.3. I like the fact that it has a metal edging. It think this will help prevent a broken glass top. And this is exactly what happened to my old GE.4. It warms up and cooks as good as my old GE stovetop and I absolutely loved that cooktop. If anything this stovetop may take slightly longer to heat up, but that is splitting hairs.5. The price of this stovetop was less that 1/2 of another GE which is what I wanted to get. So that seemed like a potential risk, but the reviews were good, so why not try it. What a bargain!.CONS:1. Functions: This was a little weird at first and had to figure it out – nothing serious though. The knobs turn very easily to each power number 1- 10. No clicks like my old GE, so if your cleaning the stove top they get moved ON or OFF with the slightest wipe… and I’m not joking, bump them slightly and they turn. This took some time to get used to. Also there is a main power button that, even though you turn a knob it will not turn on a burner without the main button activated. This was a little irritating too, but possibly a good safety feature in case you bump a knob while cleaning, it won’t come on unless you engage this button. But the Power Button comes ON every time you wipe the surface, so you have to watch for the red LED lights, if they came ON. I finally got used to that – this was very different.3. Power button – it is like a touch screen on your cell phone. If you have moisture on it from cleaning the stove top, it won’t activate. You have to wipe it down dry and make sure your finger is dry before activating it. At the same time, a wet washcloth will activate it sometimes, especially on the first wipe. So basically if you wipe up a spill on the stovetop while cooking, you turned everything off. This seems to happen a lot, but I’ve grown used to it and constantly look for red indicator lights.4. Knob location – Nothing big, but one front burner is in the very back and the other in the front. None of the button coincide with the location of the burners. Don’t know what idiot thought this made sense. Especially the double burner in front. The outer burner has to be activated by the button every single time you use it and the button is next to a different controller for the burner. What was this all about? I finally got used to this, but still weird.5. This glass top is about 20% thinner than my old GE. I don’t know if this will make any difference, but I did notice it. However it seems sturdy enough so it may not necessarily be a CON, just something noticeable.I would buy it again, even with the cons. NOTE: I deliberately bought the Knob version, because I have a touchscreen in my RV and I had problems with it being bumped on and off while wiping also, but that one has a lock on it so once set wiping won’t bother it. If that was true for this model, I would probably be a better option. The knobs didn’t turn out to be as good as my old one, but they are OK once getting used to it.

I am not going to recommend this product to anyone. My contractor opened the box at the same time; it has a broken corner. After installing it, it was damaged a little more. Actually, I am not aware of the return time period on Amzone policy. When I checked, it was already past the date. It’s so a delicate product and it’s not used for a gas top. Sorry, but not recommended.

Easy to use! This cooktop heats up very fast. Save me time. I love the 9 heat levels for precise cooking. Works with all my pots and pans and cleans up easily. This cooktop has exceeded my expectations for the price.

Very happy with this cook top. Very easy to use and works really well. We have a gas stove and decided to stop using the gas stove. This option was very affordable and a simple transformation. Buying and installing a new electric stove would of cost several hundred dollars, with this option only about 200.00 total after buying a counter top to set it down in that sets over the the burners on the gas stove. This stove top heats up quickly and clean up is a snap. And not to brag but looks very nice also.

Easy to use; finally I’m using a good stove to cook! Bought a small one from Walmart, that was a nightmare since the beginning, completely unreliable..burning things… I received this in about 4 days, and it’s perfect! After cancelled orders from other stoves…The spacing between the two burners it’s good, I cooked some lentils the other night and they were perfect, cooking with this is a pleasure! I like gas stoves.. but I’m very happy with this product so far! Looks sleek, heat up very fast, super responsive, I think that it’s much efficient than the one that I was using in my previous apartment, it was a traditional stove with oven…I’m disconnecting the stovetop when it’s not in use, in part because of the fan, and because it’s taking the counter space of one side of my sinks. I’m happy that I ordered this one, such a great price! And hopefully it’s going to last!

Among all I have tried, this is still the best. Both faces still working, no ER code so far. Well built. I will recommend.

Its a very efficient cooktop .Its easy to setup and operate and cooks evenly at a perfect heat.First I was skeptical about the quality of this product but its beyond my expectations!I cooked scrambled cottage cheese with whole wheat naan.

We purchased too early, bought it the end of May, just used it and found it will not hold large frying pan and even a small pot/pan. The heating elements are too close together.There than that, it cooks well.

I had to call customer service due to one of the burners not staying lit. They sent out a replacement which works great. Product looks great too.

Astonishing piece of rubbish. Like others, only 1 burner would remain lit. Troubleshooting guide recommends taking the thing apart to check if the wires to the thermocuplers are loose or damaged – there’s effectively no real way to take the thing apart. The gauge of the stainless steel is shockingly thin. When the knobs are in their position and turned on they scratch the steel. I returned the stove instantly. It was cheap and lived up to it.

This spacious cooktop looks great and functions very well. I especially like having the continuous cooktop so I don’t have to pick up heavily laden pots to move them. The smooth grill top allows pans to be slid out of the way as needed. The way the surface it set up, the highest output burner is in the middle and the other high output ones are in the back corners and more safely out of reach of children. The lesser used warming burners are at the front. There are 3, heavy-duty, cast iron grills, all removable to be able to wipe down the stainless steel cook top. Everything is so smooth and seamless that it is super easy to keep clean. I love all the space this cooktop gives me. I was upgrading from 4 burners and the amount of room is a real luxury to have when I have several things cooking. The installation is straightforward if you have the gas connection and a nearby outlet for the igniter switches. A cardboard cutout was included to get the layout how I wanted before making the required cut. It was installed in a couple hours. The cooktop works well, good and even heat.

This was for a mobile home kitchen remodel. Previously, there was a range, but the client wanted a cooktop. I found this cooktop, which ran on either natural gas or propane, had great reviews and looked good. It came well packaged, no dents. I used the template to cut out the Formica, which was easy to do. The Gas Plumber installed it, and the client loves it.

Looks great but the gas connection is not standard size and it’s made of thin plastic instead of metal. It only came with 2 mounting brackets which didn’t fit my counter anyhow and the instructions are junk. I couldn’t actually use it so I can’t speak to functionality.Update: After a new hose and adapters ($47) I was able to get the gas line connected. The stove seems to work pretty well so far.

I love my new cooktop. My kitchen looks a professional kitchen. I love the cooking came alive again. I enjoy it so much that I keep wondering what I should cook next I highly recommend this product came quick easy and install was easy. Also, I had a professional do it as it is propane.

This stovetop arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. It also arrived 3 days sooner than the original estimate. The old stovetop that this replaced was a little smaller than this one and I had to enlarge the hole slightly but it was an easy fix that I was expecting. Once the opening was prepared the cooktop dropped easily into place and the hookups were simple to attach. Don’t use the supplied Teflon tape as it is not the proper tape for gas connections. I used pipe thread compound to install the regulator to the cooktop and the flared fittings do not require any sealant. I had to swap out the orifices from natural gas to propane but that was fairly simple. The cooktop seems to be well made and the grates are heavy cast iron and it really made a difference in the looks of my outdated kitchen. I also purchased the 4 year protection plan just in case I have problems but after seeing it I doubt it will be needed but its good to have the peace of mind. If you’re looking for a good cooktop for a very low price I would recommend this one.

I like the look, and the grill is good (heavy and sturdy).Disliked the start up because sometimes you have to repeat to ignite or have to hold the gas for 2-3 seconds to get the fire stay lid.I have to use the old gas line and connector to install the stove (new one doesn’t fit).

I just received the gas stove and it arrived well packaged and it has a nice appearance, but they do not provide a pressure (gas) regulator nor a gas hose with the cooktop, so you’ll need to buy those at Home Depot, etc. After I have installed the cooktop, I’ll update this review. This cooktop is replacing an Empava gas cooktop that was purchased in February 2018 whose electronic ignition stopped working and the company has no spare parts for it to be repaired. I have cars older than that where I can obtain spare parts easily, so I’d recommend staying away from Empava. (It still works but you have to use a match to light the burners.

Awesome stove. I bought this stove for my outdoor kitchen which it worked great. I can now cook outdoors and enjoy the texas weather. Device is 110v which made it easier for me because I don’t have a 220v outlet in my outside kitchen. I got this on sale so it was worth the buy.

We bought this cooktop for an outdoor kitchen on the deck, but we have a roof, so it’s protected from rain, sun and snow. So far it is working well, easy to use and clean. Definitely recommend it – very good price.

The media could not be loaded. Good choice for small spaces, it has two burners and adjustable power levels and heats up quickly. It is easy to clean and so far it has worked with all my pans.

It looks nice on our counter but I must say it’s not the fastest cook, it’s takes time for the water to boil so keep that in mind.

This works well. I like that the dials are simple to use, and that it stays lit after you turn it off to remind you that the surface is still hot. The downside is that it scratches easily on top. And, if you or someone else using it is impatient and turns it to high to hasten the warming, then forgets to turn it back down, the bottom of your pot burns and so does the cooktop. Starting at a medium heat setting is fine, it warms up pretty quickly. It’s easy to clean, until the top gets scratchy and burned, then not so much. I would buy it again for my own use, because I would take better care of it than my renter does so none of the problems would be an issue. I do wish it had a self shut off timer, so that if he forgets to turn it off, I don’t need to worry.

Our first unit came, immediately started buzzing, started smoking and tripped circuits, showing well in excess of the 1800 watts rated. We promptly returned for a refund. This unit fits our space on our boat the best of any 2 burner induction cooktop. So after waiting about 3 weeks we decided to give it another try. We’ve only cooked with it a few times, but have tested out all functions with a couple pots of water on the burners. This second unit is much quieter and runs as it should. Burners automatically increase or decrease wattage as you change the settings to maintain a maximum of 1800 watts. In actuality, we found maximum watts to be roughly 100-200 watts less than manufacturers rating. This was based on our Victron Cerbo DX display. We’ll keep using it on our sailboat and see how it performs. If our rating changes up or down, we’ll update this review. For now – we’ll recommend it.

I love this product. I must say this you can only cook with pots and pans that have or are magnetic, I would highly suggest you use a regular magnetic to test your pots and pans 1st. Also it won’t turn on unless you have a pot/pan on top of the cooking area.

Love this induction burner. Cooking is a breeze and boiling water in large pan heats up in a snap. Love the ease of cleanup. I no longer use the burners on my stove.

Order the stove top for our little cabin in the wood. Opened the box just over a month after the purchase and went to install the legs for the unit to sit on our countertop. There are interior threads the feet screw into. As I went to install the last leg the interior thread pushed through which did not allow the let to install. Really no way to fix. I contacted AMAZON as the return time had expired by 5 days. Amazon advised me to contact Empava. I contacted them and was told to send an email with pictures of the issue, and they would take care of it. I sent the picture and emailed them with the issue and was told to contact Amazon. I advised them that was already done with not results. The next email from EMPAVA I was shown how to install the legs? REALLY?? I have made several calls and left messages as they are supposed to return the calls. I have had no luck. Very poor customer service on a defective issue, with a very short window for returns.

Just what I was looking for, I recommend it

I got the same 2 burner induction in vertical type, but it took forever to make soups and it was too crowded for two pots or pans. I really didn’t want to go back to gas cook top, so ordered the same one in horizontal type. Surprisingly, it takes a lot faster to make soups! I am very happy with this induction!

I wanted to get the NuWave induction hob advertised on the infomercials, but as is typical of things sold that way, they wanted outrageous shipping fees (30% of the $100 price) plus tried to sell me seemingly endless upgrades (all with additional outrageous shipping fees) and extended warranties. Plus, delivery was not expected for weeks. All that put me off, so I hung up on them before they got my credit card number and went looking for alternatives.This one is cheaper by $40 when the shipping is figured in, and has more power (1800 watts vs 1300 watts). It was also rated highest by Cook’s Illustrated among the models they tested. The NuWave claims precise temperature control in 10-degree increments which is what interested me most. The Max Burton has only ten temperature settings from 100 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit in roughly 50 degree increments, specifically 100, 150, 210, 250, 280, 320, 360, 390, 430, and 450. In my tests the temperatures do hold pretty steady but they do not match the readout AT ALL, and what the temperature actually is depends upon how big the pan being used is and how much is in it. In the Nuwave ads, they claim that if you set 375 degrees for frying chicken, in their example, then 375 degrees is exactly what you will get. For instance, when I make a single serving of fries in a particular cast iron skillet, I get a consistent temperature of about 358 degrees when the cooker readout is set to 430. With some other pan set at 430, the temperature will be something else, but it will be steady.The lack of being able to set a temperature and being able to count on that being the temperature of the pan is a disappointment so I will try the NuWave if it ever becomes available through conventional retail, but all things considered, I am very satisfied with the purchase of the Max Burton.ETA 9/20/12: Since I posted the review above, I have seen some customer reviews of the NuWave which say that it doesn’t hold the same temperature as the readout either. I now think I have a better understanding of what is happening. The temperature sensor has to be located somewhere under the glass top and it takes some time for the temperature at that location to match the temperature of the pan. I have tried setting pans on the unit and letting them sit while monitoring temperature. What happens is that the temperature will overshoot the set temperature because the pan heats up very quickly and the heat has not had time to travel through the glass top and reach the sensor. Then it will come back down below the set temperature for a while. After maybe thirty minutes, the temperature will finally settle out and be pretty close to the chosen temperature setting. Before, when I said that 430 degrees gave me 358, I was cooking a single serving of fries and was finished long before thirty minutes, so I had not given it time to settle in.Bottom line, what I think the producers of the infomercial for the NuWave do is to monitor the temperature of the pan until it exactly matches the readout and THEN turn on the cameras. Either that or they just do multiple takes and pick out the one where the cooker’s readout and their infrared thermometer’s readout just happen to exactly match. I don’t believe that a NuWave smoothly ramps up to the set temperature and locks it in without about thirty minutes of temperature oscillation and is any better at temperature regulation than every other induction cooker with a temperature feature that I have read about over the past couple of weeks.ETA 11/01/2012: I bought a NuWave PIC on eBay for about $100 as I refuse to deal with infomercial marketers, and with an empty cast iron skillet, the temperature overshoots the set temperature, then goes below and oscillates before settling into a fairly steady temperature after about 30 minutes, but the temperature is not necessary what the readout says it is, so I am still calling BS on the infomercial having a thermometer read out to exactly match the cooker’s temperature setting. The temperature does not oscillate so wildly if the skillet is full of oil, since the heat capacity of the oil itself helps to regulate the temperature. There is more control than on the Max Burton, since the temperature (no power settings per se are available, other than the maximum which NuWave calls “sear”) is adjustable in increments of 10 degrees. But still, you cannot depend on the temperature being right in every case. I thought I could slowly heat up some frozen spinach in a covered pan at 175 but that resulted in a very rapid hard boil, so the temperature was obviously higher than 175. I had to decrement the setting to 150 before I could get a slow simmer.The timer is more versatile than the Max Burton’s, since it can be programmed to start at a later time, and also to cook at different temperature settings for different time periods whereas the Max Burton offers only a single countdown timer with no programmable temperature settings. I will probably use the NuWave most of the time unless I need to boil a big pot of water quickly for which I will use the more powerful Max Burton.ETA 11/02/2012: Since my previous update, I tried my only pan with a perfectly flat bottom on the NuWave and the temperature control seems much better than with every other pan I have used. All the other pans have an indentation of about 2″ in diameter centered in the bottom of the pan where the brand is stamped so there is an air gap between the pan and the cooktop. This leads me to wonder if the temperature sensor is located in the center of the induction coil, like where the hole in a donut would be. If so, these indents would prevent the pan from effectively transferring its heat back to the cooktop’s center point. Can anyone else weigh in on this? It may be that best temperature regulation depends on the pan being flat and uniform across the bottom.Update later in the day: I went to Walmart and just happened to see a thin steel wok with a flat 5″ bottom for $5. That’s right, five dollars. I put two cups of oil in it and put it on the NuWave at 350 degrees with a thermocouple in the oil. The temperature went up to 350 in about ten minutes and stayed there within about +/- 10 degrees. So, I’m really thinkin’ at this point that a flat bottom pan with no irregularities is the way to go. I’ll put it on the Max Burton later to see if I get good temperature regulation there as well, but since I’ve already eaten way too much fried food today, it will have to wait for another day.Update later in the evening: I decided to go ahead and not wait to see how the Max Burton 6200 handled the same wok with the same amount of oil. I used the closest temperature setting to 350 which is 360, and it heated to 360 within just a few minutes, much quicker than the NuWave. But, it also kept going right past 360 all the way to 383 before starting to come back down again to 316 before it reversed and started to climb back up. That was enough to show me that this has much poorer temperature regulation than the NuWave, at least when the NuWave has a pan with a flat, smooth bottom to work with. The irony is that in my tests with this very cheap wok, even though the Max Burton has 500 watts more power than the NuWave, I have to wait much longer for the temperature to settle out on the Max Burton before I can begin frying. Now, it looks like I’m going to have to buy more smooth-bottomed pans to play with.

Years ago, I bought an induction cooktop from HSN. It was wonderful, but finally blew up in a spectacular cloud of smoke. ‘kind of like a A-Bomb; worth the money. The explosion. So, I bought the Max Burton 6200.Before I go into the 6200, a brief overview of induction cooking. First, this is the future. Most people are ignorant of these devices just as they were ignorant about the microwave oven forty years ago. Induction cooktops are basically a huge electromagnet under a ceramic surface. Put the right kind of cookware (a test magnet must stick to the utensil) and the magnetic field will heat the pan/pot/whatever, faster than any other kind of cooktop. The pan gets hot, the cooktop, other than transfer of heat FROM the pan, stays cool.There are many advantages to induction cooktops. Very energy efficient. Will not start a fire in your kitchen; you can put a dollar bill on the cooktop, put the pan on top, and boil water. The dollar will be just fine. The control of energy (heat) is computer controlled and perfectly repeatable. Another great bonus is that since the cooktop does not get hot, it is astoundingly easy to clean. No burned food on the cooktop as there is no heat to burn anything. You can clean it easily with a paper towel! And, it’s kind of weird, but you can actually clean the cooktop with a paper towel while the thing is operating!So, now a caveat… the magnetic field is powerful. It will not hurt you at all, but do not wear a watch when cooking with an induction cooktop. Don’t even use a cellphone while cooking.These things are a dream come true for cooking in an apartment or dorm. Impossible to start a fire, efficient (no blown fuses), and very fast heating up. grow some water in the pan, two minutes and it is boiling hot and a squirt of dish soap and the dishes are done!Yes, special pans are needed. Copper, aluminum, and a lot of stainless steel pans will not work. However, there are pans specially made for induction cooktops, and they range from inexpensive to “holy cow, how could it be worth that much?” Many styles are available, and Amazon sells a bunch of them.Now about the Burton 6200. As I said, my original induction cooktop finally smoked itself. So, with a little searching and reading reviews, I bought the 6200. I have used it for over a year and it has operated perfectly. It has digital controls that allow you to set the temperature, the power, and the time of cooking. I always enter a number in the digital time of cooking function, like 1, 2, or 3 minutes no matter what. That way, if I get distracted, the unit shuts itself off. Naturally, I learned this the hard way. If you have any doubt what an induction cooktop can do, just put an empty pan on, turn it on, and then go away and forget it. LIFE TIP: If you EVER think you are smelling something that could be bad… IT IS BAD! Run to find what’s wrong. Something is burning up or flooding, etc.So, I just almost melted out an non-stick frying pan by leaving it running. I was upstairs and said, “My, what”s that?” What it was but now wasn’t was a usable frying pan. It was fried. Destroyed. But, think of the power of this thing. They look just like a big hotplate. In fact don’t buy a hot plate thinking it’s an induction.I have two houses,so I decided to buy one for the other house. I got into trouble. I bought a $50 induction cooktop from COSTCO. It worked great except the digital readouts instantly went gaga lady. ‘took it right back. I still needed a cooktop, so I went on Amazon to buy another Burton. Except I didn’t buy a Burton. I thought that as long as I was buying another one, why not get one more expensive and sexier. So, although the Burton was working perfectly, I had to try something new. What can I say?The other brand sucked. It worked okay, but on every induction cooktop is a a special safety detector that knows if the pan is not in contact with the cooktop. This is to protect the cooktop, as it has to have a load on it for the magnetic field. Without a pan on the ceramic surface, the cooktop would get so hot it would melt something. So, there is a device inside that detects that a pan is there. Sometimes, though, it detects ghosts. i.e. it thinks there is no pan there when there is, and shuts off the unit. Anyway, the new model I tried (not Burton) was supersensitive to the position of the pan, and if it was the least off center, it shut down. I sent it back and did what I should have done in the first place; I bought another Burton 6200.You may see above that I gave it six stars. The extra star is there, but hidden behind the waterfall.So get a Burton. Get two Burtons. Hey, I don’t work for them. In fact It’s late and I’m goofy.One other thing. Whereas some brands are very picky about where the pan sits. The Burton is pretty forgiving so it won’t safety-shut itself off for nothing. You can even put a plastic spatula under one side of the pan so the stuff you’re cooking stays together. The plastic will not burn.Lots of fun, good cooking, no mess, very fast, and energy efficient. How can you go wrong?Midnight. I’m worst than beat. I feel like I spent the day in a Burton 6200.I am hallucinating; past one a.m. Good Bye.

I waited a month after installing this before writing a review, because any changes always seem bad with anything new. I had a GE stovetop that lasted 24 years before the glass broke unexpectedly so I am comparing it to it. So here it is:Pros:1. Easy to install – Less than 1 hour and half of that time was just cleaning the surface and removing the old one. There is nothing complex changing these out if you are replacing an existing electric stovetop. There are only 2 hot wires and a ground. That should be true on your existing plug and what is coming out of the new stove top. Both wires are 110 each so either can go to either side. (No nuetral on 220). Mounting: There is no need to mount brackets. My old one popped up with a flat end screw driver and was just weight heavy holding it in place – so same thing with this. It doesn’t move just dropped it in after attaching felt edging that came with it. Note: It came with a scraper, mounting brackets and wire leads ready to attach to your old plug wires. I just attached the wire to where my old wires went to. SIMPLE. Nice!2. Matt coated top is just like my old GE that I had for 24 years. It never showed dirt or scratches that much even though it was old. A lot of the newer designs have a polished finish and they always look dirty. I didn’t want that.3. I like the fact that it has a metal edging. It think this will help prevent a broken glass top. And this is exactly what happened to my old GE.4. It warms up and cooks as good as my old GE stovetop and I absolutely loved that cooktop. If anything this stovetop may take slightly longer to heat up, but that is splitting hairs.5. The price of this stovetop was less that 1/2 of another GE which is what I wanted to get. So that seemed like a potential risk, but the reviews were good, so why not try it. What a bargain!.CONS:1. Functions: This was a little weird at first and had to figure it out – nothing serious though. The knobs turn very easily to each power number 1- 10. No clicks like my old GE, so if your cleaning the stove top they get moved ON or OFF with the slightest wipe… and I’m not joking, bump them slightly and they turn. This took some time to get used to. Also there is a main power button that, even though you turn a knob it will not turn on a burner without the main button activated. This was a little irritating too, but possibly a good safety feature in case you bump a knob while cleaning, it won’t come on unless you engage this button. But the Power Button comes ON every time you wipe the surface, so you have to watch for the red LED lights, if they came ON. I finally got used to that – this was very different.3. Power button – it is like a touch screen on your cell phone. If you have moisture on it from cleaning the stove top, it won’t activate. You have to wipe it down dry and make sure your finger is dry before activating it. At the same time, a wet washcloth will activate it sometimes, especially on the first wipe. So basically if you wipe up a spill on the stovetop while cooking, you turned everything off. This seems to happen a lot, but I’ve grown used to it and constantly look for red indicator lights.4. Knob location – Nothing big, but one front burner is in the very back and the other in the front. None of the button coincide with the location of the burners. Don’t know what idiot thought this made sense. Especially the double burner in front. The outer burner has to be activated by the button every single time you use it and the button is next to a different controller for the burner. What was this all about? I finally got used to this, but still weird.5. This glass top is about 20% thinner than my old GE. I don’t know if this will make any difference, but I did notice it. However it seems sturdy enough so it may not necessarily be a CON, just something noticeable.I would buy it again, even with the cons. NOTE: I deliberately bought the Knob version, because I have a touchscreen in my RV and I had problems with it being bumped on and off while wiping also, but that one has a lock on it so once set wiping won’t bother it. If that was true for this model, I would probably be a better option. The knobs didn’t turn out to be as good as my old one, but they are OK once getting used to it.

I recently installed this electric cooktop and it has been working great so far. The heating elements warm up quickly and cook evenly, which makes everyday cooking much easier. The glass surface looks modern and is simple to clean after use.The installation was straightforward, and the wiring came clearly labeled, which really helps if you’re connecting it yourself or with an electrician. I am not going to recommend this product to anyone. My contractor opened the box at the same time; it has a broken corner. After installing it, it was damaged a little more. Actually, I am not aware of the return time period on Amzone policy. When I checked, it was already past the date. It’s so a delicate product and it’s not used for a gas top. Sorry, but not recommended.

I really like the Karinear 30-inch 4-burner electric cooktop. It heats up fast, is easy to clean, and looks modern in my kitchen. Perfect size for daily cooking and good value for the price.

I did open the package and I did review it it seems to be really good I plugged it in it started really nice and it heat it up really quick I have not installed it yet so I’m not sure how good the quality is going to be but at this time it does look good.

This stove is a of junk. I had to pay to have it installed. I didn’t use for a week later and it gets warm, not warm enough to cook anything. I can’t believe they are even selling this to anyone. I can’t afford to pay to have an electrician to uninstall and then install a second stove top. I feel like they scammed me. It is nothing but junk.

I have used this daily for several months now and I love it! It’s easy to clean, it heats up quick, I like the safety features. Great if you live in a smaller space and need to move it around because it’s light enough but also solidly built. The beeping is a bit loud, but at least you know when you hit a button!

This was the only 120v double burner insert I could find. All else needed 240v.I like: touch controls at the front, can be inserted into countertop, uses 120v outlet without tripping the gfi or breaker. Both burners can be used simultaneously but you are limited to a maximum combined total wattage.Dislike: Not too easy to clean- the hot surface melted some upc stickers off some new pans, which has left a burnt plastic film on the front burner that will not clean away.The only reason I’d give this 4 stars is because I have a nicer induction 120v double burner right next to it. Induction is faster and easier to clean because the burner itself doesn’t have to be as hot. However I DO highly recommend this glasstop burner especially when using nonmagnetic cookware. 5 stars
