  • We enjoy watching this series
It’s The Office, what can I say?! My daughter loved the dated nature of this show she will probably not experience anything like it today. The ending was not her favorite but we still enjoy playing it in the background a lot.
  • Review based on DISC QUALITY
It’s the OFFICE! GREAT SHOW! However, the discs are left to be questioned.Discs are not scratched. However discs skip terribly. The Office discs that skipSeason 1 disc 1Season 2 disc 1Season 3 disc 1 Skips terribly bad, missed the last 10 minutes in total from one episode.Missed the first 10 minutes from another episode right in the beginning.Season 3 Disc 3 just started playing without giving me the option of the main menu. Skips horribly and the picture is completely unseeable and the audio in inaudible. At first it wouldn’t play at all. Has A LOT of static. Disc is clean and there is nothing wrong with it using the naked eye. Disc takes super long to do a SIMPLE task, like rewind, fast forward, or god forbid you have to go back to the main menu. It just completely freezes and stops working all together and stays on the frozen screen. Disc is unresponsive for a few minutes and is VERY LOUD in my dvd player. After a couple tries, the disc finally behaved and started playing the intro like it was supposed to from the very beginning. But the disc itself is still kind of loud in my DVD player.Season 5 Disc 4 skips starting at the second episode, disc got noisy as well.Season 7 Disc 2 skips up until the christening.Season 7 Disc 4 skips multiple times through “the Search” episode, misses key parts of the episode, at least 10 minutes.Season 7 Disc 5 doesn’t skip but plays the same episode twice, every episode due to the “extended directors cut”. Time waster. Not a fan of the directors cut that plays directly after the original episode in “play all” mode.Season 8 Disc 3 skips first episodeSeason 8 Disc 4 Skips for the first FULL 5 minutes of the FIRST episode.Season 8 Disc 4 Skips in the second episode as well for 5 minutes when Andy is in Florida bringing Erin back.Season 8 Disc 4, the 3rd episode literally just got stuck playing. Right at the beginning. I feel like I missed half the episode because it got stuck before it finally started playing. The entire intro was skipped until Nellie was docking Andy’s pay.Season 9 Disc 1 skipsSeason 9 Disc 4 skips randomly during the last episode of the disc towards the end.Season 9 Disc 5 skips the whole intro until Angela is dressing Philip in Oscar’s apartment.Update:I’ve changed my star review based on it’s not the discs that skip. It was the fault of my dvd player.Long story short I bought a dvd player off amazon, the office dvds were the first ones to skip, initially I thought it was the dvds. Anyone would. Found out my dvd player was defective since it started skipping other dvds it had never skipped before.
  • One of the best sitcoms ever
The Office was, especially during the Steve Carell years, one of the best sitcoms to ever air. Chances are most people looking to get this already know what the series is like so I will not spend a ton of time reviewing the show itself. In a nutshell, it is a sitcom that follows the day-to-day operations of the Scranton PA office of the Dunder-Mifflin paper company headed by Michael Scott (Carell), the manager of the Scranton branch. It is a Mockumentary in which the various characters are “interviewed” although we never see an interviewer, so they are essentially just talking to a camera. It is a very character-driven show and the plots were a mix of self-contained stories and then arcs, usually dealing with various character relationships. It ran for nine seasons (although season one was very short, just six episodes) and was adapted from a British show of the same name that starred Ricky Gervais and Martin Freeman. The first season mirrors the BBC version sometimes slightly and sometimes a lot, and then after that really becomes its own thing. This DVD set is just the individual season sets packaged together. So, if you purchased the seasons separately you are not getting anything different aside from a box to hold all the individual season cases. All of the extras (and there are a lot of them) are exactly the same, and nothing (at least in the DVD version) was added. I cannot say what they did with the Blu-Ray complete series set, although from what I have read it has the same extras as the DVD set. The extras include audio commentaries on many of the episodes which rotate various members of the cast. There are many commentary tracks in the early seasons and fewer as the seasons go on. Then there are a ton of deleted scenes (the best of which involve Creed and “Schrute Bucks”, blooper reels, webisodes, promo material, and more. Basically, if you love watching bonus content, there are hours worth (apart from the commentary tracks) to keep you busy.Overall, the series is very good. Like many shows that last nine seasons, it was not as good at the end as it was in the beginning, especially after Steve Carell left. It had a large ensemble cast that included Rainn Wilson, Jenna Fischer, Mindy Kaling, John Krasinski (who, other than Carell, has probably had the biggest post-office career), and Craig Robinson. There are also a ton of very recognizable comedy actors and actresses that appeared in the series in both large and small roles. The show definitely lives up to the hype, and even though the last couple of seasons are not as good as the early seasons, they are not as bad as some people make them out to be. So, if you are a fan of the show, this is a great pickup.
  • Great price. High quality picture , packaging could be annoying
I got my box set signed. Great quality same as Blu-ray. Packaging can be annoying sometimes but the DVDs don’t get scratched easily. Good bonus features
  • How can I resist this price?
Everyone knows how great this series was and still is. All episodes for a great price. DVDs provide great TV when things go awry. Also, this comedy series marks a great time in history. No canned laughter. A very very smart comedy with great actors.
  • Must have
Great deal, arrived quickly. It’s on Peacock but you never know when you need the internet will fail you and you need your comfort show.
  • Cheaper than streaming
Always enjoyed the uncomfortable comedy of the Office. The quality for DVD’s is quite good. There were a couple errors with episode sequencing and playing episodes at random and duplicate episodes, but all in all, worth it.
  • The office in best quality you will find with good packaging.
Great show and good packaging, this is not one of those sets which contains big chubby cases with 10+ discs inside. Each season has its own case with 3-5 discs, Season 1 has only 1 disc.-1 star because i had some loose discs inside few cases due to small broken plastics. I dunno if it’s either because of poor QC or international shipping damage. Nevertheless I have checked first 4 seasons yet and all discs play fine flawlessly and video/audio quality is good, much better that you get from streaming so i can overlook minor damage to packaging. Overall, a great product.

What Customers Say:

  • A technical tour de force
I watched Dead Reckoning for the second time the night before in order to catch up on the plot. Watched Final Reckoning last night, and well, together the two make one heck of a movie. I have a 7.1.4 (eleven channel) rig, with four powerful subwoofers and a 77-inch Samsung S90F TV installed in a proper room, and the movie used up every bit of the potential power of the group. This movie is an AV enthusiasts dream come true, especially if they have a proper TV, serious surround power, and serious subwoofer power. Better yet, the movie (and its precursor) is gripping, with Tom Cruise being his usual sensational action movie star. Very highly recommended, especially for those with decent AV rigs.
  • Excellent Part 2 Movie
This is the second part of the Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning. The first part was excellent with high reviews. The second part called the Final Reckoning was also an excellent movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. As the first part, the action will leave you breathless. Exciting movie and highly recommended to watch. As with all the Tom Cruise Mission Impossible movies, they are as this one was, fun to watch over and over.
  • …FROM A MASTER
Just fantastic, from The Hardest Working Man in the film industry. What makes Tom’s films soooo superior (IMHO) is how much of a fan he is of what-all makes going to the Cinema a truly memorable experience! The Man DELIVERS, every time!!!Thank you Tom!
  • Big fan of MI series. All included disks work but Paramount limits where you can use digital copy
What can you say about Mission Impossible, if you are already a fan? This movie does not disappoint. A great ending to this two part series and to the Mission Impossible series with Tom Cruise, as a whole. Tom Cruise is aging and watching was sweet sorrow. That being said, the story line is not unfamiliar. End of the world is coming and the crew faces death, bad guys and political obstacles. But I will not reveal more to avoid spoiling the ending. The cast of characters is great and the movie is well made. I especially like that they go to the places where the scenes take place to lend realism.PRODUCT QUALITYAll the discs (4K, Extras and BluRay) were tested using my PS5 and they work fabulously.PARAMOUNT licensing for digital copy sucks! The digital copy code inside the case did not work with anything but my Apple TV. Paramount restricts usage and wouldn’t let me put it on Movies Anywhere. So it isn’t really a digital copy from the standpoint that I can use it on any of my streaming services except Apple. A big letdown. As I originally bought this movie using Amazon Prime (digital) and it was unable to be used on any other digital service. So thought if I got the discs with digital copy that I could use the digital copy on Movies Anywhere. But NO. So it was a paramount licensing thing. Everyone knows some services don’t work as well as others and that can be up and down depending on what hacker is attacking what company. I think I can download it to a device but not sure. Will think twice before ordering any Paramount movies disks with digital copies in the future.
  • Another great MIP movie and main characters still have what it takes to entertain us!
Another great MIP movie! Wonder when they will do another since only one of the team gets killed in this one, and new potential members are now available?! Of course Tom Cruise is getting older but he’s still alive after this episode, so maybe he’ll recruit a younger partner whom he’ll train. Like all great series, it’s hard when the main character(s) get too old to continue playing their roles, and either they have to script them as retiring or dying 🙁 so enjoy all the great MIP movies while they are still being made!
  • Amongst some of the best 4K Blu Ray discs released.
While it was far from being ranked amongst the best in the series and some of the best finales ever made, I still find the movie itself to be very enjoyable. And also for those who are wondering, Paramount definitely did justice for the 4K, and Blu Ray discs by including the expanded aspect ratio for certain scenes that you’d see in a IMAX theater, and the Dolby Atmos track is great as well. It comes with 3 audio commentaries, and some behind the scene features, so (at least for me) it was worth the $25.
  • What an epic thrill ride this is.
As a long time Mission Impossible fan, this franchise went out on a high note. Don’t let the nay sayers get the best of you and think this is a let down. It isn’t.

  • Recommend
    Great Value. On these Classics
  • Loved all these!
    Childhood memories unlocked!
  • Nostalgia
I’m absolutely thrilled with this collection! As someone who grew up watching many of these shows, it brings back so many fond memories. Not only does it include a great variety of classic shows from my childhood, but there are also plenty of shows that my parents used to enjoy. It’s wonderful to see such a broad selection of content that spans generations, which makes it easy to connect with the past while introducing my kids to the same shows I loved growing up.The quality of the shows is fantastic as well. I was pleasantly surprised by how crisp and clear the visuals are, despite some of these shows being older. The sound quality is equally impressive, which makes watching these classic shows a truly enjoyable experience. It’s clear that a lot of care and effort went into preserving and presenting this content in a way that feels fresh and accessible, even in today’s high-definition world. What excites me the most is that I’m now able to share these timeless shows with my own children. It’s a unique feeling to pass down the tradition of watching these beloved programs, and I can already see them enjoying the same things I did when I was their age. It’s not just about the entertainment; it’s about creating shared experiences and connecting with family through something as simple, yet meaningful, as watching a show together.Whether it’s a cartoon I used to watch on Saturday mornings or a classic sitcom that my parents enjoyed, this collection has it all. I can tell my kids are already developing their own favorites, and it’s heartwarming to know that they’re now part of this multi-generational tradition. If you’re someone who wants to relive the past while introducing your children to some of the great shows that shaped your own childhood, this is absolutely the perfect collection. In conclusion, I’m beyond happy with this purchase. It’s the perfect blend of nostalgia, quality, and family connection. The wide variety of shows, the high-quality presentation, and the ability to share these timeless programs with my children make it a purchase I’ll never regret. I can’t wait for the next generation of memories to be made with these classic shows!
  • RANKIN BASS COMPLETE COLLECTION BLU RAY IS A KEEPER; WELL WORTH THE UPGRADE!
With the Holiday season upon us once again a new Rankin Bass collection has been released. This year’s offering is a complete collection of all of the Rankin Bass Christmas themed specials. All 18 original Specials on 5 discs in a nice compact case with slipcover. The case is a hinged type case so there is no awkward stacking of discs. I never bothered buying any of these specials on Blu Ray before this set as I felt my DVD versions were on par with the first release of Blu Rays. I can say that this set is a worthy upgrade and all of the Specials featured look very good on Blu Ray.I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these specials. Naturally Rudolph got the most attention being the crown jewel of the lot and the one that put Rankin Bass on the map.The Little Drummer Boy and Frosty’s Winter Wonderland are the weakest in terms of dirt, scratches etc, but they do not look bad by any stretch. The Little Drummer Boy is a low lighted special so I assume it was hard to brighten it too much without ruining the integrity of the original design. Frosty’s Winter Wonderland has some dirt here and there, but both of these specials look better than they’ve ever looked before and should not disappoint. Bonus material I believe were carried over from past releases and can be found on the first few discs..The specials are arranged in chronological order, so that may answer some other reviewers questions why the sequels weren’t arranged on the disc featuring their original counter parts. There is a play all feature on each disc, but no matter what special you choose the disc will play the following specials in order there after. This is easily remedied by pressing menu and picking the particular special you want to see. It’s not a big deal as I very rarely watch more than two or three at a time and I will watch certain specials more often that others. The thick cardboard slipcover is sturdy and attractive. Considering many of these specials were not available on factory pressed discs; this set is a no-brainer and should not be passed up. The only thing that could be better is if it were a complete set of all of the Rankin Bass productions including many that haven’t seen an official Home Video release.Maybe we will see another set featuring the remaining Specials, TV shows and Films from the unique team of Rankin Bass who were so much a part of many of our childhoods. It’s hard to imagine Christmas without at least a few of these timeless specials and this set is keeper for sure.
  • Includes titles I don’t remember
    Holiday favorite
  • Wonderful For Kids or Gen X/Baby Boomers Who Are Kids At Heart
If you’re a Boomer or Gen X-er, you will remember these cartoons as a child. They used to be broadcast every Christmas on TV. I understand a lot of them are being streamed, so if you don’t subscribe to that streaming service, you’ll miss what was a wonderful holiday tradition for us older folks when we were kids. But never fear, because you can own the entire Rankin/Bass collection in this set. These “Stop Action” specials and hand-drawn cartoons are sweet and nostalgic. They are reminders of how children’s shows used to be created; back then there were no computers, Pixar studios and slick computer animation. But they are timeless stories that kids today can enjoy. They are voiced by actors who are no longer with us, but have left us with a wonderful legacy; in fact, kids today who are curious about these actors can learn about them on the internet.I recommend you buy this set, because it comes with lots of extras. You’ll learn about how these cartoons were made and other interesting facts. Plus you can view these shows any time you want and not worry about missing them on TV or not being able to view them unless you subscribe to certain streaming services. Your kids will love them, and you can watch them together as a family.

  • Great DVD
This is a great DVD. I have already read Jonathan Cahn’s book and Dinesh DiSousa’s followup documentary is a great follow up with many scholars and references to historical events as well as prophecy to come.
  • Modern event documentation DVD
The DVD is based on current events and the Holy Scriptures. Very well done and worth having… Also to share with others.
  • Dinesh scores again!
    Informative, well done. Entertaining.
  • Interesting new film from Dinesh D’Souza
As with all Dinesh D’Souza’s films, this one is outstanding. Very disconcerting videos of Hamas in action. If you’d like to know what’s really going on this one seems to hit it right on the Mark.
  • Absolutely Powerful Documentary, gripping and filled with deep wisdom and profound insight.
My wife and I just watched for the first time this documentary. The DVD arrived this late afternoon and we immediately played it. It is far above in all categories (powerful presentation, direction, meaning, immediacy and relevance) of any other documentary of Dinesh D’Souza’s. I will write more on this film documentary after I have time to watch it again and take in all that it offers and presents. This is a continuously gripping film. Seeing this film for the first time just moments ago, the words I have in reviewing this film is: Absolutely fantastic!
  • Everyone should watch

What Customers Say:

  • A brilliant return to the magic of the 1960’s done at warp speed…
Ok. I purchased this 4K disc with no preconceptions except having grown up in the 1960’s with the original comic books (many of which I still have) and having followed all the subsequent TV series and movies. I figured a reboot would be fairly typical with staid plot progression, a fun viewing but unremarkable. I was delighted to be totally wrong. This is a stunning production worth watching many times over! The characters all have new depth from scintillating actors. Reed stretches only when needed and organic to the situation. Sue is more powerful than ever before. The torch isn’t just a headstrong kid but contributes key scientific achievements. And Ben is the most believable orange cobblestone ever put on film (incredible special effects maturation). It’s a true tour de force setting them back into a credible alternate reality derived from the 1960’s!Plus, Galactus is the most awesome and shocking ever. The Silver Surfer as a woman is both tragic and heroic. The city’s destruction is stunning. The futuristic space scenes are amazing. And the “tape reel” robot is the cutest sidekick ever. This is an engrossing movie that this old fan totally recognizes from the magic of blurry pictures printed on cheap paper from the 1960’s.Viewed projected in 4K onto a large wall screen with full surround sound turned up, it’s an immersive experience. Truly, the heart and soul of the great comic book artists from the golden age of comics is here to be enjoyed, both by old and new fans. To all those who made and provided this marvelous trip melding the past and future I have only one word: BRAVO!
  • A MCU movie that actually feels like an MCU movie.
A fun movie that feels like a classic comic book come to life. There was obviously a lot of effort put into it and the cast seems to having fun. I know there’s quite a few people that find it dull and not as good as what was expected. Honestly, I can see their point. There could have been a couple more action set pieces and it could have been 20-30 minutes longer. It would have allowed the writers to add a bit more depth to the characters and build the stakes a bit more. No worries tho, the movies fine as is. The 4k Blu-ray is pretty basic with no slipcover. Which is kind of a drag but for 26.00 I can’t really complain. Definitely worth a purchase, especially if you have a tv and player that supports Dolby vision.
  • Love the Retro Look
I like the retro look and feel of this version of The Fantastic Four. Sound quality is fantastic as is the video. There are some plot holes, but what movies doesn’t have them. It’s well structured. It’s a good movie overall.
  • Marvel’s First Family Join the MCU!
Matt Shakman’s 2025 film “Fantastic Four: First Steps” adapts a screenplay by Josh Friedman, Eric Pearson, Jeff Kaplan, & Ian Springer, bringing Marvel’s First Family into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, and Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer. It focuses on the FF four years after they received their cosmic powers on a test flight in a retro-futuristic 1960s parallel Earth. They’ve battled many of their 1960s enemies from the comics, including the Mole Man (Paul Water Hauser), and inspired the people of Earth to be better. Amid this Camelot, a new threat arises in the form of Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his herald, the Silver Surfer. The FF must work to thwart Galactus from devouring the Earth and protect both their family and the Earth itself.Shakman’s retro-futuristic parallel Earth brilliantly evokes the time and place of Marvel’s origins while also subtly fueling the multiverse saga. Every element of the background from buildings to appliances to clothing feels of its era and evokes the same historic tone as “Captain America: The First Avenger.” While Tim Story and Josh Trank each turned their hand to adapting the Fantastic Four, this film is the first that fully embraces the comic book tone of the source material while also portraying the characters as a real family. The 2005 film portrayed banter among the cast, but it often felt more like snide remarks than real relationships. “First Steps” shows the First Family as a real family. The film features several references to Marvel’s history, particularly to Jack Kirby, with a version of Timely Comics appearing when the Silver Surfer first visits the Earth. The main cast of the unreleased 1994 “The Fantastic Four” film also appear in cameos that link this to the legacy of Marvel Comics on film. “First Steps” does an admirable job brining the FF to the MCU in a way that honors their legacy while also feeling fresh. The only detractor for this film is the “Twilight”-style CGI baby, but the story, characters, and settings are otherwise all brilliant for fans of Marvel and the Silver Age of comics. This 4K/Blu-ray Steelbook is a great way for fans to add the film to their home media collection. Bonus features include a featurette from Shakman and the cast about crafting the First Family; a look at the film’s retro-futuristic aesthetic; a discussion of the process of transitioning the characters from the page to the screen an audio commentary; a gag reel; and deleted scenes.
  • Marvel’s First Family is Fantastic!
The movie in my opinion is fun, heartwarming and emotional. The action is top notch! The acting is really good. Julia Garner, Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn are AMAZING as are the other cast! She’s really cool. I love how spectacular and epic the movie is. The Blu-ray came with a slipcover. I ordered from The Philippines and I was glad that the case and disc came home in great condition. ????????⛄♥️
  • Don’t sleep on this release! amazing!
this actually arrived in a box with paper! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PACK JOB TO DATE. HANDS DOWN! phew!the quality of steelbook is great and the movie is – well you know how it is. the quality of disc was amazing. mine was not loose or scratched and my digital code worked flawlessly.
  • It’s Fantastic…
A fantastic….first step for the FF into the Marvel universe! A solid story where each character shines in ways you would not expect. You have to watch it to know what I mean. Just an all around great film….
