What Customers Say:

  • Reliable. Compact. Simple. Works how it should.
Exactly as described. I needed a small inexpensive laptop for my child while her other laptop is getting repaired. It came packaged well. Came with a charger. Needed charging of course before setting it up. Easy to set up. Touch screen is responsive. The keyboard functions well. I kind of wished I found this computer sooner. The size is compact and light to carry. The screen is bright enough and connection is good. It is a solid laptop.
  • Great computer!
This computer was such a great deal! I’m really happy with my purchase. It works great! I was a little apprehensive when ordering this because of other reviews saying that theirs didn’t hold a charge or their volume didn’t work but mine works perfect! I couldn’t be happier.
  • Great but SLOW
If you can get past the small size (11″), this Chromebook is a good buy. The keyboard doesn’t feel cramped at all, screen is fine for work/web/videos and the sound is good and made better with headphones. But it’s *alarmingly* slow. Pages often time out before loading, and I’m spending a lot of time hitting the Refresh button. For a newer Chromebook, and a Dell at that, this is a surprise! I have a truly ancient Dell Latitude laptop running Windows XP that can do some things faster than this, and every other laptop or tablet I’ve used here has been quick to get up and at ’em, so it’s not the fault of my internet connection. This works out OK for me as I’d rather be online less overall, but if you need to be plugged in, something a bit faster might be better for your needs.
  • Just what I needed
Just what I needed, I just wanted something simple, I had a MacBook, but it was too much for me for what I wanted to do. I gave it to my niece and asked her if this is what I really needed. She said this was perfect for me. I just check emails and maybe a little surfing. And with me being on a fixed income, the price was affordable. It was easy to set up, and the chrome book itself looks new.
  • My new writing buddy that I’ve named Lilbit
Was not expecting to love this as much as I do and did not know what to expect with a refurb. I am astonished because this little beast is practically brand new. Barely barely noticeable scuffs on the outside. Started up fast and set up was quick and easy. Bought this at recommendation of my engineer bf to use scrictly for writing a novel, and it is going to be perfect. I have a really nice Lenovo but it’s connected to all kinds of peripherals and a hassle to disconnect for portability, and it’s honestly not as physically durable as this little Dell. I wanted something small and rugged just to do writing, and this is absolutely perfect. Very pleased with the seller as well for shipping so quickly and well packaged and for offering such great products at such a great price.
  • I would buy again
I bought two of the touchscreen laptops for my kids. If you want touchscreen you have to make sure it says touchscreen in the description. They look great, and work as they should.
  • Not as described
This item was not in described condition. It was listed as excellent condition. And was more expensive because of the condition. It did not come with a Chromebook charger it had a phone charger with it. It also was all scratched up. The other two I ordered were in excellent condition but this one was Fair at best.
  • Don’t know what to believe yet, it could be defective
I was amazed to receive a laptop that seemed light and new, shipped with care, but today, working with it, I was aggravated. Got it for job interviews, to save money, but not sure if I will get used to it, a no-screen touch Chromebook. Well, it is a great value, none the less.

What Customers Say:

  • 100% over joyed with the price & quality
I’ve only had it 3 days, which still leaves a window left open for my review to change, but i live it so much i had to give it 5 stars and a HUGE shout out to anyone like me who needs a new, inexpensive, up to date and powerful laptop.

This Amazon restored, not refurb, but restored Dell Latitude with full new install of Win 11 Pro, for $139 and it has touch screen with full flip cover, was my dream come true.

It looks brand new and runs like a dream… 3 days old, but it’s so silent and clean in it’s speed and performance, that i just can’t get over the price i paid.
It was even packaged like it was brand new.

  • AWESOME LIKE NEW COMPUTER!
I hate that some people are having issues with these little computers but the one I received seems perfect. I’ve thoroughly inspected it and I’ve used it for several hours. It looks and works like new. I feel there is a distinct advantage to buying refurbished electronics like this. Someone bought it new and had problems with it so they returned it. The issues were resolved and it was sold to me. I now have a like new computer with all the problems worked out before I bought it at a great price. All my programs and apps loaded without any problems. Some seem to be receiving these computers without a power supply. Mine had one that was also in new condition. Would I like for the battery to last longer? Sure I would, but it lasts for several hours which is an acceptable amount of time and it recharges quickly. The screen is clear and sharp and the colors are excellent. The keyboard is also excellent with no “sticky keys.” I bought this computer with a 256 gig hard drive so it has a lot of space left after loading my programs and apps, and the 4 gigs of RAM makes the computer fast enough for my needs. I have not noticed any lag time. The fact that it came with the latest version of Windows preinstalled was a strong selling point for me. I love that it folds up to work much like a tablet if I want. It’s a bit heavier than I expected but that is not a deal breaker for me. In summation, I couldn’t be happier with this computer. I highly recommend the refurbished Dell Latitude 3190 HD 2-in-1 for anyone who is looking for a computer that is small but still powerful and easy to use. For the price, it is a true bargain. I would definitely buy it again, and I would recommend it to my friends and family.
  • Good value
Works well and good value. I run sims 4 on it, and it works well for a couple hours before it starts lagging. Considering the price and all that’s quite good to me.
My only complaint is that the right shift key is whack. It either doesn’t press down, or it felt like it pressed but my letter didn’t capitalize, or I have to press it really hard.
  • Great Value for the Money!
Great value for the money! Minimal cosmetic wear and working like new. At first I was concerned because the keyboard wasnt working but I reset the computer and it solved the issue. Mine also came with a charger but I saw other reviews say they didnt get one so keep that in mind. Battery life seems decent but I havent tested it too thoroughly. I tend to use my laptops plugged in anyways so it isnt a big deal to me. Having Windows 11 pre installed is nice too. Overall very happy with my purchase!
  • Issue with the refurb being described as “excellent”…
Now let’s get to the condition. In the ad this was described as “refurbished excellent”. Well, cosmetically it turned out to be pretty good… no significant scratches, scuffs or dings (but not totally free of them). I would have given it a good to very good score. But after getting it all set up with files and apps installed I noticed that the “G” and “V” key operations were flaky… then found the keyboard bezel was broken (cracked) in three places… making it somewhat annoying when writing (which I do a lot of). Now keyboards for this are inexpensive, and replacement is pretty straight forward (for the DIY types) so that’s what I’m going to do… however, I could do without the extra drama… Buyer beware and YMMV.
  • would buy again
i love mine! it came well packaged it does have some minor scuff marks barely noticeable unless your really looking closely. screen had no scratches keyboard works like it should. charger works. the initial set up was fast. all n all for the $165 that i spent on this pretty little laptop, im impressed! will recommend to all who is looking for an affordable laptop.
  • Excellent laptop and a bargain for me
This laptop arrived in like-new condition, with no scratches on the screen, and no indications of use. It booted up immediately, updated itself, and installed Windows 11, without a hitch. I have a MacBook, but I needed a computer to run one old Windows program. It functions perfectly. I am more than satisfied.
  • works okay, sorta slow, needs a lot more repairs
computer works, however both bottom corners of the screen have what appear to be pressure marks or something that turn a burnt-ish yellow when the screen is black or tilted. additionally the top left screw holding the bottom of the computer together arrived damaged, the lip that hold the head of the screw is broken and now the screw does not secure the bottom plate, which causes the bottom plate to pop open any time the screen itself is moved, which is a lot considering its supposed to be used as a tablet as well. a random broken plastic piece flew out of the inside of the computer in one of the instances of the plate popping open. i think what is either some forgotten screws, or stripped parts is causing these issues and also somehow has resulted in the left hinge of the computer not staying in place, it wiggles all over the place, and the lid falling open.
There are scuff, or almost scratch marks on the bottom right corner of the rubber edge of the keyboard section, as well as many cosmetic errors like the keyboard keys printed letters missing portions.

it seems almost like in refurbishing it, however that was done, they also damaged it more.

What Customers Say:

  • Great condition, near perfect
I love my MacBook!!! It was shipped so fast, (received it 4 days after purchase) and it’s in wonderful condition. It looks so close to new. The tiniest scratches here and there and just a bit of dust under the keyboard. But honestly I don’t notice them unless I’m looking really hard. I was fairly unsure about how it would end up buying a refurbished MacBook from a 3rd party but I’m glad I did and I feel like I saved a lot of money this way. It works like a charm. The battery health is at 95% which is amazing. I’m treating this thing like my baby from now on lol. I bought the 4 yr protection plan just to make sure I’m all covered too. This seller is legit, and if you’re unsure I say go for it!
  • Will purchase again
The physical condition is great with 1 small dent that doesnt bother me. The battery health is great which I was concerned about buying an older used laptop. Everything functions great and the price was unbeatable. Customer service is also very friendly and the company is based in the states. Will eventually buy another one for my partner
  • This is a fantastic laptop if you know what you’re getting
This is one of the best laptops I can recommend. Its Great thats really all there is to say. I use this for mainly multi-media purposes. It is great at that. The M1 chip is a beast, needs no fans, and CAN do mild gaming. It sounds good and the picture quality of the display is what you’d expect; very good. Obviously since it’s a mac its easy to use, and made well as it is solid aluminum. A timeless design. Its got basically a 500gb SSD so its got decent storage and its fast, but I also use a samsung usb type c flash drive thing for most my media to not max it out instantly. I really do like the track pad too, I normally am very picky about them and don’t like most very much at all. However I have always liked the mac ones, and this is not exception is as really responsive and a good size. I got mine for around $700 or so and I could not love it more. I have it for over a year and a half with no issues!

FYI there is only 2 type c ports and 1 headphone jack on this laptop

  • Good laptop
Very good computer. It is fast and reliable. I mean you do get what you pay for but last one I ordered from wallmart was so trash the battery sucked. Good job Amazon. I recommend getting it if you need it for school or if your kid wants something and you don’t wanna spend 1k on a new one. But there is a few tiny dents on the corner but it ain’t noticeable if you put a case on it.
  • “A Smart and Worthwhile Purchase”
This is my first MacBook laptop, and I must say, I’m impressed! I’m glad I purchased a refurbished MacBook instead of a new one since I mainly need it for school. It’s in excellent condition, with only one or two very minimal surface scratches that are barely noticeable. The speed and battery life are great—I have no complaints. I even bought a protective case to match the rose gold color. Loving it so far!
  • Review for 2020 MacBook Air (16GB RAM / 1TB / Space Gray)
I purchased this MacBook Air on August 15, 2025, and it arrived in excellent “premium” condition. For being a 5-year-old laptop, it’s still holding up incredibly well. I bought it as I was starting my freshman year of college and needed a powerful, reliable device.

Previously, I was using a Dell Latitude E7440 from 2013, which was really showing its age—still running Windows 10 with poor audio quality, outdated graphics, and overall performance issues. Upgrading to this MacBook Air has been a huge step up in every way.

The M1 chip may not be the newest anymore, but it runs beautifully for my needs. The only feature I wish this generation had is a touchscreen, but honestly, that’s a small tradeoff considering how much of an upgrade this has been.

My only real complaint is that the screen tends to pick up everything—lint, dust, fingerprints, and smudges—but aside from that, I’ve been extremely happy with it. The build quality, performance, and overall premium Apple experience make this laptop well worth it.

    Key Points for Buyers:
    – Space Gray color was correct
    – Portability is on point with the 13-inch display size
    – Doesn’t heat up like my older laptop, and doesn’t have loud, noisy fans
    – 16GB RAM & 1TB SSD Storage
    – All the right USB ports!

  • Excellent !
The Macbook Air M1 i received had a few scuffs and marks near the usb ports and bottom back.
The keyboard had no signs of wear, the screen was scratch free and no other defects.

Upon opening i was greeted with the installation screen of Monterey version of MacOS (the best option for this model)
After configuring the Macbook for my wife i checked the battery and was at 92% health (that’s excellent)

I myself have the Macbook Air M3 and i was really surprised with the audio quality if the Macbook Air M1 !!! It sounds way better !!!

I will buy renewed products in the future again from Amazon !

  • MacBook Air 2020 13
I got really lucky the Mac is in excellent shape and operates exceptionally so far. Light weight, sleek and simple to use. Heat level is normal nothing running hot. Also my battery capacity is excellent. I recommend buying a refurbished in excellent condition it’s worth spending the extra funds. Also Purchase Macs with the in house M chips avoid Intel on a Mac. I was happy to find this with the M1

What Customers Say:

  • Good deal. It’s worth every penny.
The MacBook that I received is superb so far. I’m using the computer currently and it is working great. With used and/or refurbished, it’s like a box of chocolates and you ever know what you might get. With the reviews I read, I took the gamble and bought the computer.

It has minor scratches on the cover of the computer and it’s working like new. The previous owner barely used it or the seller changed the battery on it. The keyboard isn’t worn out and it doesn’t have performance defect as of now.

I recommend it as a gift if you get the kind that I received.

  • BUY THIS NOW
This is the best computer I have ever had. I enjoy it so much. I got the refurbished excellent in gray but they sent m silver which is the color I originally wanted. I have never in my life been so satisfied with a purchase. If you are thinking about it. GO FOR IT. IT is so snappy and fast I’ve never wanted to do school work so much. I can playtimes or do hard work for hours STRAIGHT and the battery will last hours. and there’s relatively no heat. It’s so light and portable I LOVE IT. Ive never had wifi issues or bluetooth, the handoff is wonderful and the connectivity to the other products in your apple ecosystem is just AUGH. No touch screen but who needs that its a computer. And god I just love the color so much. I really do love this computer. I can’t even stop typing on this review!!!!
  • A great deal on an awesome MacBook at a great price 🙂
Let me begin by saying I purchased this 128gb 8gb Memory 2020 M1 MacBook Air from MOBILESUPPLY, as Refurbished – Acceptable condition. Total purchase price was 358.00 after tax and shipping. I had placed the order late Wednesday Evening and received my MacBook Friday Afternoon, The seller overnighted my MacBook to me (Kudos to MOBILESUPPLY for the fast shipping). The MacBook I received is in almost near mint condition with only two very tiny nicks, and a small smudge on the lid of the MacBook. It did come with a generic charger but I have an extra Apple branded charger lying around so I use that instead.

This thing is really fast and I love the convenience of the Apple ecosystem. It’s so nice to answer calls, and read/write text messages all from my MacBook, not to mention how light the MacBook is. 128gb Storage is a little on the lower end of things, however I use an Samsung 1tb External SSD and that solves that problem. Be assured for regular use 8gb of system memory is more than enough to serve your needs. I bought Acceptable condition as a baseline knowing that I would at least receive a decent MacBook, but that there is a possibility of getting lucky and receiving a much better condition one. If you’re on the fence about purchasing a refurbished MacBook just take the plunge and buy it. Lastly be sure to research and review your seller prior to purchasing. Thanks for your time in reading my review.

  • Mostly good, can recommend.
Please note that if you purchase this, it might get shipped by fedex and you will have to sign for it. This wasn’t able to work for me due to my work schedule so I had to have held somewhere. This came mostly clean. Had nice scrach on the logo and a couple of surface scratches but that is normal with a used/refurbished product. I will be tossing a dbrand skin over it but it came looking mostly good. One thing I will fault is the hinge part had a decent amount of dirt in it. Something I think could’ve been cleaned better in my opinion. The battery was at 91% which is pretty good for something this old. All of the keys work fine, I couldn’t locate any scratches on the screen itself. It came with a charger that I haven’t used at the time of writing. People have noted that theirs came with a 3rd party charger. Mine seems to be 1st party (very scratched up and used looking but expected) but came with a 3rd part cable. Packaging was good, it was wrapped in very stiff bubble wrap, i do wish they had put it in a bag just in case of water damage but overall, it was fine.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants to save a buck on a great device but wants some sorta warranty from one of the big chains. I was satisfied

  • Wow, M1 chip with 8gb RAM and 128gb storage is still such an upgrade from my Intel Mac.
I’m so pleased with this Macbook Air M1 with 8gb RAM and 128gb SSD. I was worried about buying refurbished and my budget is tight so I went with the “acceptable” condition. Also, I was worried 128gb would not be enough storage but my last computer was a 2015 Macbook Pro with the same amount of internal memory. So, I’ve learned to use SSDs and iCloud.

It arrived in great condition! It is incredibly fast due to the M1 chip, looks so beautiful and battery life is 88%! It can last an entire day, 14 hours at work. Does not overheat. The screen looks amazing. It’s far, far more than expected and it’s helping the environment too! I’m much less stressed about using this computer which fits in my budget (about $350) than I would be buying a more expensive version. Makes me hesitate to buy new when there are refurbished gems like this one! Thank you, Mobilesupply!

As long as you are good with managing storage, I find the 128gb to be enough! Please make sure to check how much storage you are currently using prior to purchasing. Also, I received a non-OEM charger that didn’t work so be aware of this as a possibility. The company gave me a small courtesy credit to buy a new one. Of course I wish it came with original Apple charger but still five stars!

  • Covers cracked screen and blown UCS-B port
One of the USB-C outlets was blown so only one USB-C is functioning. The bottom portion of the screen was cracked and just covered up (which I later found out after it fell off). I ordered a new labtop so I could replace this one but that one wouldn’t even turn on (I charged it correctly) so I returned that and then got called away for work.

I have been out of the country and needed a labtop so I wasn’t able to return this in time.

Other than those two things, this is a good computer.

What Customers Say:

  • Really impressed with how well this device from 2017 stands up in 2025.
I wanted to get an older Intel Mac for the sake of hauling it around and doing some things to it that are “off label” so to speak. I had low expectations, but for under $200, I figured, worst-case, I’d throw some flavor of Linux on it and use it as a secondary device. While it isn’t as fast as my M3 MacBook Air that I use mostly at home, it is incredibly serviceable. It is refurbished, mine came with a brand new battery and for this particular device the battery life is really great, even under a bit of load it’s 4+ hours, and I’m a bit of a heavy user so you may get more. Upgradeable (just ordered a larger SSD for it because I am using it so much that I’m investing in more storage, the specialized drive for it runs around $60 or you can get the NVMe SSD of your choice with an adapter if you have a spare lying around you want to use.) OpenCore will get you to Sequoia and I’ve heard some people are able to run Tahoe Beta. Without modification though it runs Sonoma which for most people will do just fine.

You’re not getting the greatest screen with an 8 year old computer but the screen actually looks really good. The i5 Processor and 8 GB of RAM are not powerhouses these days but if you have a $200 budget and have to choose between this and one of those new budget laptops with a Celeron or N95/100/etc. this will do much better! Just remember, this is an 8 year old device as far as the tech. It does great. But if you’re expecting an experience similar to the new M-series processors, you won’t get it. I would suggest looking into a refurbished Air with an M1 if you want that experience. That said, it packs a lot more punch than I thought it would and I am currently using it as my out of the house daily driver.

It does get a little warm under load but not hot. If you’re just web browsing, YouTubing, doing school or office work, maybe some very basic photo or video editing, this machine will do just fine.

For people with a little less tech experience, I would suggest making sure you save files to the cloud or a USB drive (also has an SD card slot if you want to go that route.)

This does NOT have USB-C and Thunderbolt 2 does not natively connect to current Thunderbolt/USB-C. There are adapters for that on Amazon if you need it for any reason. With the right cable that port can also be used to connect to an external monitor if you need it.

OH. And! Keyboard and Apple Logo are both backlit. I believe this was the last MacBook Air with a backlit Apple Logo. If nothing else that increases its “cool factor.”

Bigger bezels than new devices, but honestly, they don’t bother me and I think most people won’t find them excessive.

I would say this laptop is for:
    Students
Children who you want to give a first computer to where you don’t need them to have the latest and the greatest.
People who have been using Windows and want to try a Mac but don’t want to commit big money to the ecosystem yet
People who have a Chromebook budget but don’t want a crappy underpowered machine that is effectively a web browser with mobile apps and don’t know how to use the Linux environment
People who are interested in the Hackintosh community but would rather have the real thing.
People looking at those sub-$300 computers with EMMC memory and 4 GB of RAM and underpowered processors

Hope that this helps people who are thinking about this computer but are on the fence. It’s truly a great machine. And while Apple has dropped support for Intel, security updates should continue to roll out for a few years in case safety is a concern.

  • Great Macbook at an affordable price!
I’m 100% satisfied with this purchase. I highly recommend that people don’t need to pay a fortune for brand new. This laptop looks great and it works perfectly. Highest recommendation.
  • A mess
I ordered one and the entire two bottom rows of keys stuck, would click like there was sand under the keyboard, or wouldn’t pop back up so my sentence looked like this
    “Mmmmmmmmy nnnnew laptop Is unnnnnnnnusabbble”
So I reached out to Amazon support who processed a replacement. Unfortunately the replacement was also unusable because the charging port would not hold the charger in it. So unless I wanted to sit there and hold the charger for 2 hours to charge it I had to return that one too. So I reached out to support again and processed that return.

I ordered a third one hoping the third time would be the charm but alas, it was not. This one has a battery life of about 18 minutes from full charge until it’s dead. I understand these are refurbished but I have some major concerns about quality control at this point as it doesn’t seem like random bad luck that I’d get 3 laptops with major problems.
Also adding that these are listed in excellent condition however there are also significant cosmetic issues as well. Scratches, deep dents, bent corners. Not something I’d look at and say “yeah this is in excellent condition”. I hope the seller takes more care in refurbishing these in the future because it feels like they are just out here taking in a computer, restoring it to factory settings and listing it for sale. No way they could do even a cursory check of these and not notice 20 sticky keys or the inability to charge a computer.
This process has taken me about 3 weeks from placing my first order and has been a headache all around. I wouldn’t recommend these unless you are fully aware that you’ll need to dedicate time and money to making the computer you receive able to be used.

  • Love it ❤️
Looks and work like brand new, which did not surprised me because a few years ago , I got a renewed MacBook Pro from Amazon and it was the same: it arrived like new and is still working perfectly. Of course, you have treat it gently and keep up with any maintenance (both physical and software-related) This MacBook Air was a gift for my father. It came like brand new, free of any cosmetic damage like scratches and scuffs. Nothing!

After examining the physical appearance we made sure we’re getting the right specifications, too. To see basic information about the Mac, choose Apple menu > About This Mac. In this case, this info was just as described.

The battery is in great condition too and it last for so many hours, I don’t know exactly how many because I never let the battery to run out of power.
    Also We tested all ports:
    * Two USB ports
    * 1 Thunderbolt port
    * 1 MagSafe power port
    * 1 SDXC card slot
All five ports are working perfectly., as well as the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Stereo speaker and the microphones are working fine too. The Full-size backlit keyboard is fantastic The backlit is sooo bright, but we know to pessF5 to lower keyboard brightness and F6 to raise it. That’s so simple.

The MacBook came with “Catalina version 10.15.6” and it was asking to update to “ Monterrey’ , which at first we were very hesitant to do because the laptop ran so smoothly just as it came and didn’t want to ruin it. We consulted by phone the local computer shop and they said It’s best for your computer to be on the latest software update. It fixes bugs, gives some new features, but most importantly, they have tons of security fixes. So we did it and now the laptop is running just as fine as it came, just with better features.

All in all we are very happy with this purchase!!! Thanks Amazon for offering these amazing renewed laptops and many, many thanks to the vendor!!!

  • Still Powerful and Reliable
I bought my 2019 MacBook Pro (13-inch, 1.4GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD) back in 2023, and even in 2025, it continues to impress me. The performance is smooth and consistent for everyday use—whether I’m multitasking with documents, streaming, or managing real estate files, it handles everything with ease. The retina display still looks vibrant and sharp, and the keyboard feels comfortable for long typing sessions.
Battery life holds up surprisingly well, lasting several hours on a full charge, and the aluminum Space Gray design still looks sleek and professional. Even though it’s a few years old, macOS updates continue to run flawlessly, making this laptop feel modern and dependable.
Overall, this MacBook Pro is a great long-term investment—perfect for students, professionals, or anyone who values quality and reliability. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a durable and high-performing laptop without breaking the bank
  • Worst Purchase Ever: A Total Waste of $400 and Endless Frustration
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience deserves a warning label. I bought this “renewed” 2019 MacBook Pro (13-inch, i5, 8GB, 512GB) thinking I’d save some money. Instead, I ended up with a $400 paperweight.

From day one, I noticed the screen bleeding light from the bottom corner, which should’ve been a red flag. I trusted Amazon’s “renewed” label, assuming it had been properly inspected and repaired. Big mistake. Within days, the laptop started overheating like a toaster whenever I watched a movie. The fan noise was so loud it drowned out the speakers, imagine trying to enjoy a film over a constant irritating sound…

Im just 4 months, it completely gave up. While watching a movie, the laptop heated up, the fan roared, and then the screen literally cracked by itself. No drops, it just broke under its own heat. Now I’m stuck with a useless machine. The screen replacement alone costs $200+, not including labor. Why throw more money at something that might overheat and die again?

I even tried using a portable monitor just to salvage some use out of it, but the setup is clunky and miserable. The laptop continues to run hot, making it risky to fix or even use for basic work.

This “renewed” MacBook was a total rip-off. The quality control clearly failed. I’ve been a loyal Amazon customer for years, but this experience has shaken my trust completely. If you’re tempted by the lower price, don’t be. Spend a bit more and buy something reliable. Saving a few hundred dollars isn’t worth the stress, noise, heat, and disappointment.

  • appleMacbook
just got this today i can say that it’s like a purchased a brandnew computer no one can tell that it’s 2019 and for the price best purchase made no scratches everything new works lightning fast it’s like whoever had it before used it 1 sec and just said i don’t want it no more . great job ????
  • Excellent purchase!
This is the first Mac I’ve ever owned and coming from Windows there was a bit of a learning curve. However, after a few days of use and exploration I’m extremely pleased with the integration with my iPhone and Airpods.

The Macbook itself is in basically perfect condition, the only flaws I have found is a scuffed up S key and all keys are a bit worn out on the surface but function normally. Other than those two things, there are no scratches or imperfections to the laptop’s exterior.

The only cons I have found so far is that I occasionally hit the touch bar when typing and accidentally turn my music up too loud or mute it. Also, at first the battery life was a bit underwhelming but after some tweaking I think I have fixed it (Turning low power mdoe to be on all the time). Today I charged the Macbook to 100% and have been doing light browsing on Chrome and have lost 7%. To be fair, some more battery life could be saved if I used Safari as it is more optimized for Mac’s and isn’t as big of a resource hog as Chrome is.

Edit*: Forgot to add this in my original review but the macbook didn’t come in its original box, it was only wrapped in bubble wrap. Luckily, it did not come damaged.

Overall, this was a great purchase for me and I have zero regrets.

  • Good Quality
Great other then the couple of glitches and the overheating issue. It gets extremely hot during use of any app other than safari.
  • Great product…if your on the fence read this!
An amazing laptop everything works I was super concerned after reading the reviews but I needed a laptop for my stock trades and this MacBook has been perfect! The touch pad works perfectly the battery holds a charge great…the only way you can tell that is was a used MacBook is it had a few scratches would definitely buy again…roll the dice and order one
  • Better Luck Next Time.
Let me first say that the MacBook Pro 2019 came in pretty good condition, except for a couple of unnoticeable scratches on the side. Jumped right in, plugged up got started with the setup …everything went smoothly. Beautiful bright clear screen as expected. The next day I hopped on but the laptop did not turn on.. thought that was a little strange. Anyhow, I plugged it up and back in I went. I checked the battery life and it displayed 40% but still didn’t understand why I couldn’t use without the charger. I took another look and read the additional information “Battery not charged service required”. You got to be kidding me. I immediately called Amazon spoke to customer service (very helpful) and they were not able to get a replacement because the sale price had changed. I was referred over to Apple support who confirmed “No warranty”. They were able to take a closer look at the laptop and found that the MacBook battery was considered dead. I had the option to purchase a new battery for at least $249 which I kindly declined. Apple support was great and assisted me in removing all of my information from the Laptop as I have opt to return this device! Yes, I know it was a refurbished item. However, I refuse for the “Amazon seller” to receive profit for an item that came without a decent battery. Unfortunately for me I can’t trust to repurchase or take a chance on this seller. I will just have to wait and pay a little more for the peace of mind. Very disappointed.

  • It’s here! Very happy
Wow ! So far, so good would be an understatement ! This arrived less than a 1/2 hour ago via Fed Ex. So prompt ! Ordered 2 days ago. I verry much appreciate the seller using Fed Ex to ship, with signature required, & in a package that did not identify the computer. Excellent security. Was packed well & thoroughly secured. I opened to find a pristine looking computer that turned on immediately ! Ahhhh … great to hear that familiar Apple / Mac sound again after turning it on. I am setting it up now. Accompanying charger appears to be compatible. My vintage 2010 MacBook Pro bit the dust some years back & this purchase has been a long time coming. I’m thrilled ! Thank you !
  • Hands down the best MacBook value
Full disclosure, when i made my purchase back in Sep /Oct, the price was $1449; $70 lower than today’s post but I believe this is still the absolute best value that exists (until the 2nd or 3rd gen M1s come out), and here’s why:
    • Current M1 versions lack support, compatibility and stability. Resetting to factory apparently bricks the system, and half the programs are running on an emulator. This is why Apple has not released them in their flagship models yet (ie 16″ Pro) … too many bugs to work out. I felt purchasing an M1 at this time would be like being a free “beta tester” for Apple; no thanks, I’ll wait until everything’s solid again.
    • Core i7 upgrade is just negligible. Evaluating online benchmarks as well as real-world use tests seemed to indicate that this i5 works practically identically to the more expensive i7. Paying for the i7 version would be like throwing bad money after good, if you know what I mean.
    • 128Gb and 256Gb are too little, but 512Gb is perfect for most people and purposes, and if more space is necessary, then an external HD was probably always in the future no matter what, so why pay $300 extra for only 500 more Gbs integrated?

My received unit was most likely a floor model based on its battery time and cord condition, which is perfect, and it feels like brand new. Delivery was spot on time. Can’t say enough about how well it works and fulfills all needs and purposes at such a higher level than my previous laptop, a 2017 Air 13″. Highly recommend if you can get it at such a reasonable price point. This review will be valid until probably early 2022, at which time, or shortly thereafter, the new M1s will blow this one out of the water… and I’ll have to upgrade again… {sigh}.

  • Refurbished electronics will break down faster, and repairs are next to impossible
I bought this item refurbished, and due to an issue with the included charger, the laptop shorted out and stopped working within 8 months (beyond when they were accepting returns, naturally). Buying any electronics refurbished is inherently risky since they’ve already got years of use, so I can forgive it breaking down. What I CAN’T forgive is the process for getting it repaired (which, since it’s refurbished, is a pretty important factor).

First Issue: most electronic repair shops don’t fix Apple products, so you need to go to a specialized iRepair store to get it fixed. I live in a fairly isolated city without such a store, and the nearest one is about a 2-hour drive from me. Already a pain. Once I bring it in, they tell me the short impacted the motherboard, which has apparently been welded into the laptop and can only be removed and replaced by an even more specialized person, so they have to ship it to a different location, which adds an extra 2-4 weeks to the process. Once this new location got it, though, they realized the motherboard was actually damaged beyond repair, and all they could do was recover my data. Easy, right? No. Thanks to the hard drive ALSO being welded into the motherboard, it’s yet another specialized repair to recover any data, which ends up costing me an additional $600 and still leaves me with no laptop. The alternative is to retroactively buy increased iCloud storage, which isn’t helpful advice at this point, and would STILL require that I buy another Apple product for recovery. So they’re going to make money off of me for this break.

To recap, my data essentially got held hostage thanks to Apple designing this laptop to be as difficult to repair as possible to ensure nobody else can do it. How is any of this benefiting the consumer at all? I don’t really care about the scratch resistance or screen quality (the screen for the laptop I received had multiple points of damage that led to discoloration in the display, in case you’re curious) if it stops working quickly and Apple’s gonna charge me an arm and a leg to keep using it!

Personally, I think this experience was kind of my last straw with Apple products in general. This product is certainly cheap for an Apple laptop, but thanks to a design focused on making repairs as difficult as possible in order to require you to use Apple’s repair services, you will pay more in the long run, be it with time or with money. You can get a brand-new laptop of the same quality – often with better RAM and compatible with more software – for the same price from basically any other company. Honestly, just buy something else, cuz after this laptop breaks on you, you’re gonna have to anyway.

  • Best laptop!
Great item! Has served me many purposes for work.
  • as expected, in excellent condition. everything works.
Laptop came as advertised in excellent condition. Seems like it was lightly used by the previous owner. No real scratches, screen, keyboard, and touch bar works perfectly. It came with no original box (as expected) but was packaged well. It came with the correct OEM charger & cable. Battery arrived dead and is almost ready to be replaced (630 cycle counts out of 1000) but I am comfortable with buying a new one and replacing it myself. I am happy with the purchase and if anything happens I will update this review.
  • Love my New MacBook!
I love this MacBook! I always wanted one with the Touch Bar, and don’t use my computer too much outside of Netflix and shopping. The battery doesn’t last long, but I didn’t expect much from a a $400 computer. It works great and looks like new. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a computer.
  • Good With Flaws
Firstly came in an off brand packaging so got skeptical. Everything was in it, a charger and the MacBook. You can tell the MacBook has been used, scratches all over it. Came dead so had to charge it. The battery is pretty crappy and it overheats pretty quick. The v key is pretty busted and barely useable. It is my first MacBook and can’t afford a new one so it is good enough for me.

What Customers Say:

  • What did I do to deserve this?
I rarely write reviews because they are time consuming, and to be honest I’m really tired and lazy at the end of the day, but I had to jump on here and write a review because this company has very much earned it.
Initially, I was really hesitant to order this. I had the same exact year and model and LOVED my old laptop, but alas, it was not meant to be. One night of FaceTiming with a long distance friend and three glasses of rosé paired with…I don’t know, apparently I like to move my hands a lot when I’m excited? Weird, I know…and my laptop got to experience the wine, but not in a good way, and it fried.
Now, I’m a Mac girl through and through. Call me trendy, extra, basic, but come on. Have you seen the screens on these things? GORGEOUS. So I wasn’t going to but a middle of the road laptop. I had finished college, and I have a desktop in my office for work, so I figured I could bypass a laptop. Nope. Being salaried and a preschool director with a killer new job, I’m going to need a laptop to work from home on weekends. But we all know Apple is not budget friendly. You want a new Apple product? Cool, we’re gonna need you to take out a second mortgage or work four jobs for approximately ten years. Yeah, no thanks.
After window shopping, I found this beauty. Less than four hundred dollars? Excellent condition? Add to cart. Once I ordered, I realized I didn’t check reviews, so off I went, and found they were very mixed. I contemplated cancelling the order, but then figured it was already put through and charged, so I might as well risk it. I am so glad I did.
When it arrived, my husband immediately charged it. I got home and saw it sitting on our kitchen island in all its glory. Beautiful color, zero keyboard deficiencies, screen with zero flaws. There is a chip on the bottom right corner of the shell which is very small. You can’t notice it unless you are studying it like you’re back in high school biology. Installed a case, and you can barely remember it’s there.
So far, so good. I turned it on very hesitantly, worried that it would have a flaw on the screen, freeze, have a fan that sounded like a turbo jet, any amount of things. Nope. It runs better than my previous one. Setup was simple, my account is connected, runs like a marathon runner who has trained their entire life. I am in love. If this was laptop was a good looking man, I would run away with it. All in all, it runs beautifully and I will one hundred percent be purchasing from this company again. My daughter is going to need a laptop soon, so…take my money.
All in all, I’m incredibly surprised in the best way possible. HUGE thank you to this company. I’m so happy.
  • You won’t regret it
I had to wait some time to write my review before I made it . BUT so far so good with the MacBook . I believe it came with one little ding but I’ve had it almost a month and I can’t even remember where the ding is tbh . I put a case on it & went about my way . I use it WAYYYY more than my iPad for sure . Came SUPER SUPER fast . Had a tiny hiccup in the beginning which made me panic instantly. BUT I contacted Apple , and all I had to do was update the computer, and I may have hiccups here and there . (Nothing worth returning the computer, maybe user error as a 2nd time MacBook user) but I would say GO FOR IT. If you’re scary like me just contact the seller or get it in great condition so you don’t have to worry. Don’t be cheap lol. I got the rose gold & im in love with her . I’ve customized the screen, and it’s cool to me. If I could think of any flaw it would be that it dies really fast. But that could also be because I just close it all the time, and never really turn it off. Again. User error. I was super scared of getting scammed. But these are the good guys. I can assure you lol I would’ve definitely written a not nice one if they weren’t . Don’t hesitate . The deal is there, if you have the money just buy it.
  • Great quality for being renewed!
This lap top works great! For being a renewed lap top it works fast! It’s super light weight and great for travel! It was so simple to set up and connect my iPhone to. The lap top came with very minor scratches on the top but other than that it is in great condition!
  • Good laptop and exactly as described
Very impressed with the laptop I received. I was hesitant due to other reviews. My MacBook is a 2020, specs all exactly as described, the battery life is fine. There is minimal scratching (barely noticeable – expected more honestly on a 5 year old device). It works great, very fast, came with a charger and was hand delivered via FedEx! Highly preferred for electronics so they’re not sitting in a mail room. I’ve used it daily for about a week now and haven’t had any issues. It needed to be charged and some software updates upon arrival but to be expected. Overall very happy with my purchase.
  • Great Use No Fakes
Looks brand new out the box(minus the original Apple charger). Use it for schooling only so works very well. Power Last very long after closing it but not turning it off. Left it closed for 2 days, it did die but impressive .Definitely get it for more casual things than gaming. Clear screen with watching moving.
  • Decent; lighting in keyboards are not working however. Highly disappointing.
No dents or scratches when I bought it; good. Dead when you open it, so its advised you charge jt first before opening it up. My issue is the lighting regarding keyboards however. Sections of it work well depending on how brightly I press, and some don’t. Very disappointing. Nothing perfect to say however, since I’ve only just gotten it. So far though, not bad. Expected better on the keyboards though.
  • Great Value for a Reliable Mac – Perfect for Everyday Use!
I purchased this renewed Early 2020 MacBook Air (Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD) on March 31, 2025, and I’ve been using it daily since. For a renewed product, I’m genuinely impressed by the quality – it looks almost brand new and runs smoothly for most everyday tasks like browsing, email, streaming, and light productivity.

The 13-inch display is crisp and vibrant, and the gold color gives it a sleek, premium look. Battery life has been decent so far, and the keyboard feels comfortable to type on.

    A few things to note:
    • It’s not the fastest MacBook out there, especially compared to M1/M2 models, so I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy video editing or gaming.
    • The fan does spin up during multitasking, but nothing extreme.

Overall, this is a great budget-friendly option if you want to enjoy the Mac experience without paying full price. Solid choice for students, writers, or casual users.

What Customers Say:

  • Very satisfied with quality and fast delivery ???? nothing short of excellent !
I am very satisfied with my Apple Mid 2019 MacBook Air with 1.6Gaa as Hz Intel Core computer I’ve been using the Apple Mid 2019 MacBook Air with the 1.6GHz Intel Core processor for a while now, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my purchase!

The sleek design and lightweight build make it incredibly portable, perfect for on-the-go use. The Retina display is simply stunning, providing vibrant colors and sharp text that make everything from browsing to photo editing a pleasure.

Performance-wise, the 1.6GHz Intel Core processor handles multitasking with ease. Whether I’m juggling multiple applications or streaming videos, everything runs smoothly without a hitch. The battery life is also impressive, lasting through long workdays without needing a recharge.

I appreciate the seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem, making it easy to sync with my iPhone and iPad. The trackpad is incredibly responsive, and typing on the keyboard feels comfortable and satisfying.

Overall, my experience with the MacBook Air has been nothing short of excellent. It combines style, performance, and usability in a way that makes it a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a reliable and beautiful laptop. Highly recommend!

  • Amazing value for the cost: clean and completely functional.
I bought this Apple MacBook Air MVFK2LLA (Renewed) for a surprisingly low price on Amazon, and it turned out to be a great deal. The laptop arrived in excellent condition, basically like new with no scratches or visible wear. Performance has been smooth, and despite my worries about overheating with Intel models, this one stays cool and stable.
The only issue is that it didn’t come with an Apple-branded charger, but for the price I paid, that’s not a dealbreaker.
  • Pretty dang good + 2 Updates
Looks physically nearly perfect. There is some kind scratchy adhesive “skin” that’s been put on the top cover… I cannot tell if it is stock to the computer or something added on later or to potentially hide something on the actual surface underneath….? It’s coming up a touch along the edges…. But..: it took me awhile to even notice it and I am not taking it off. In fact I ordered a new case for this and it gets here tomorrow.

As for software, I hit one or two snags but one of them appears to be fixed while the other isn’t the fault of the computer itself the fault of the place I work blocking simple tasks like logging into email. Not computers fault.

I used this fairly extensively all day, zip zapping around like usual and did not really encounter any interferences or hiccups. Messages works; FaceTime works, music works, iCloud photos are synced, a few things mirror from the phone if wanted, so the device to device communication works… it came with a new looking charger, which worked immediately.

I would not say it holds battery as well as my older 2015. I think the retina display chews up a lot of power. I also was on FaceTime for about an hour. Heavy battery usage. I can generally get through half my work day on a charge before I need to get it plugged in. I’m a teacher and I have this open almost the entire day.

RIP USB ports 🙁 I used those pretty extensively as well. I miss those. Only think I like about the USB C is that its the same as chromebook ports so there’s always chargers around that work. My old had a MAC only port.

Otherwise this was a really good purchase. I know by tonight it will take a dump bc jinxes.

Overall pretty happy so far. 🙂

Update: It did not take a dump. I have been using it for about a month and a half. Day in and day out. In school, out of school, tutoring, face Time, email, Google classroom, etc. I charge it each day. At the exact moment I am typing this, the charger stopped working lol Can’t make it up. The charger looked sus from the beginning. It worked though so I couldn’t complain. But the little silver piece that actually going into the charging port was always a little loose looking, almost slightly crooked. I always figured id get another one. But since that USB C is so common chargers are nothing. Overall still REALLY happy with this purchase.

Update 3 months later: Still going strong. Still doesn’t hold a charge as long as my other one but it isnt terrible. I just did a shtld of work on Canva for about 40 min and I have a ton of battery left. Usage is fine, no issues with anything major. I suddenly couldn’t get into my apple ID when I had to change a password, it just short ciruited everything and i couldnt load messages app, the sign on would just circle around and around. I was able to force quit and shut down entirely. Then restart and use my phones hotspot and it worked. Who knows. But that was probably the only real issue lately. Very Very happy with this purchase I can’t even imagine why anyone buys a computer at $1600 dollars when we have access to such good refurbs or older models.

  • Love it!
I would say it is excellent condition tho it had a few dings on each side and fingerprints that I cannot get off the screen at all (which doesn’t hurt it’s function) and the random sticker from the last owner had for the collage they went to on the keyboard being left.

This was a great guy. It works as should. It’s my first MacBook. I will say the battery doesn’t last long if I just close the laptop without turning it off, but it lasts a good 6 or so hours while I’m working on it depending on what I’m doing

I would recommend as everything works as it should.

  • The computer work just not the cord
The computer work great but the cord that came with it it does not work it does not charge it so there is that issue
  • Good Computer
Works great! Have no problems with it, it’s not slow or anything.
  • Great investment
This product works better than I anticipated it to work. It arrived in excellent condition. It was very easy to set up and so far since I’ve had it I haven’t had any glitches. It has been running smoothly, apps open up with excellent speed. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
  • Excellent Condition BUT here’s some set up tips
Great MacBook in Excellent Condition, But a Few Setup Tips!

I purchased the 2019 13-inch MacBook in Excellent condition and it truly lived up to the description—no dents, scratches, or visible wear at all. It looked brand new right out of the box, which I was very happy about.

Just a couple of things to know during setup:

    – When setting up the MacBook for the first time, don’t log into iCloud right away. Choose “Sign in Later,” because if you sign in too early, you won’t be able to bypass the Terms & Conditions screen.
    – Once you reach the Home Screen, you’ll need to run a system update. If you don’t, you may get a message that says “ Update Apple ID Settings.” The update fixed the notification for me.

The only downside was that the charger stopped working after about four days, so I had to purchase a replacement. Other than that, the laptop itself is perfect and performs great.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase and the condition of the MacBook was exactly what I hoped for.

What Customers Say:

  • Decent Chromebook
I bought this refurbished Lenovo Chromebook. The touch screen works well, though I mostly only use it as a laptop. It is easy to use and is the light enough to carry as a tablet. The screen quality is fine and the speed is as expected. Sometimes it freezes up and I have to restart it; which only a minute to reboot. It is durable for what I do with it.
  • Third Lenovo 300e – Still Going Strong: Touchscreen, Kid‑Friendly
This is our third Lenovo 11.6″ 300e Chromebook, and the kids love it. If you want something simple that works for school, browsing, streaming, and everyday tasks, this is it. The kids love that it’s a touchscreen with a 2-in-1 hinge, which makes it easy to switch between laptop and tablet modes—perfect for homework or watching videos on the couch. I’ll be using this third one for my small business and may upgrade sometime in the future. For now, I highly recommend this product while it’s still available. Note: We bought the first two over a year ago, and they are still running strong. It’s lightweight and easy to set up. Touchscreen + 2-in-1 is very versatile. It delivers good everyday performance thanks to the MediaTek chip, has a sturdy build, and is kid-friendly. The sound is okay.
  • Definitely not “like new” as described, but functional and will do in a pinch
***Update: I amended this review from three stars to one star, because a couple of weeks after I posted this initial review, my computer simply stopped working. It will turn on, but I get a plain black screen. With all the other issues I was having, I simply decided this was not worth the hassle and returned it. I will also note that I didn’t mention it in my initial review, but this whole process also included another purchase of the same item that was for some reason flagged as undeliverable during shipping, so I never received that one. It’s just become a massive headache that’s already worth more than $80 in my time and energy, so I opted to simply return the computer.

The return process was easy at least, but I will not be buying refurbished electronics on Amazon again.

I’m leaving my original review below for posterity.***

I bought this computer advertised in “like new” condition for around $75. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but there are a couple things I have an issue with enough to give a 3 star review. They’re not a big enough deal to request a refund (again, $75 computer here…I feel like going through the process of requesting a return/replacement is more of hassle), but not great. If this had been advertised for its actual condition, I still might have bought it, but I’d be giving it a much better rating.

Biggest one is that in my “like new” computer, the track pad is wonky. It sometimes catches clicked down in a way I can feel if I click too far to the bottom left, and I have yet to be able to successfully highlight anything because the drag is weird. Neither of these are a huge deal for the way I plan to use this computer (especially because the touch screen does work fine so worst case I just highlight by touch), but it’s less than I expected based on the listing.

The other is that my computer arrived dirty, which I wasn’t surprised by as other reviewers have mentioned it, but it was kind of disappointing. I don’t think it was anything particularly gross, but there was a goopy smear on one of the device’s silver-colored hinges that was rather off-putting, along with a spray of dried droplets on the screen. Probably just grease or oil and the residue of cleaner, but let’s just say I cleaned the whole thing thoroughly before I used it.

Overall, though, I just needed a really cheap computer to get me through a couple weeks, and this fits the bill. It runs fine other than the trackpad issue, comes with a decent charger, set up easily, all that good stuff. Just, you know, be aware that you’re definitely getting what you’re paying for!

  • It’s a value at a bargain price.
Just as stated in the header and as many have rated it is bargain for a reason. I purchase one as a small personal device as i have my phone and pc the second one was for my child as a learning device and a first introductory lap top/tablet as he is 5 years old and is in home-school program. The price is a steal if you are looking on the cheap side. But make sure you dont get upset when it may come with defects.

    Pros: Value, 2-in-1, compact.
Cons: No cap button and defects vary.

As i stated I bought two as shown in the pics; the first one I bought seemed to be brand new never touch; no problems, so i decided to get a second to appease my child as he was immediately drawn to it and i figured it would be a great tool for his schooling. some of the best features from Google is the supervision so i can monitor what my child is doing limiting how much time he is using it for and so on. Sorry if this is a run on. the only fustrating thing is the No Cap button as u are forced to shift + what ever letter ur trying to capitalize in replace is the quick button to google search which i find annoying retraining the muscle memory of my fingers.

Another thing is that some time it will not power on and you have to google why and find out why there is a refresh button. They also provided two different charge cord DO NOT SWAP! Other wise it will crash; any way hope this help in deciding if it is worth the buy. iMO it is as I wanted something not expensive does the basics and is both a lap/ tablet.

    **** UPDATE ****

in order to stop with the google search button you can change the keyboard layout or its control functions in Setting > Devices > Keyboard> Custom KeyBoard Keys… It took me almost 1month to figure it out. Hope this help some one.

  • Good cheap chromebook
I’ve bought two of these from this seller over the past year and they are both great for the price and get the job done. They were gifts for two different family members I think the worst thing about them is one had a scratch on the outside, not a big deal at all it still works fine and looks good even with it.
