It’s a very good program if you are a do-it-yourself person. I did my husband’s will years ago had it notarized if you would like to, but in Maryland you don’t really have to get your will notarized. Very easy to do instead of paying some lawyer to do it for me. It was an extremely smallest state so I did it myself.

Very useful and helpful software. Having a updated will, trust and health care directive is very important. This software is an economical way of keeping these documents upto date.

4.5 stars. I’m upgrading from the 2007 version! More forms, but still “relatively” easy to use. Installation was easy. It should save me money in the long term by eliminating or reducing attorney costs.

After going around and around and around with customer service about authorizeing the software, a tech suggested I try to compleat and print a document. It worked. Still askes me to authorize my copy every time I open a new document! Customer support SUCKS!

Most of us need to write a will and or an estate plan. You can hire professional lawyers to do this, but it will be expensive. This Software is an alternative to lawyers and the document it provides a legally binding Will/Estate plan. The software walks you thru each item you need to consider easily and straightforwardly. If you want a good will/estate plan that doesn’t ruin your budget – this it.

This one is a must have. You don’t need to talk about your assets just put it in your revocable living trust

I’m going to preface this by saying that my daughter and I have two different ratings for this product. She currently thinks it’s a four star product, I say 5. We purchased this 3 years ago, when our daughter was 7. If you’d have asked her at that time, she would have said 1 star. She found it frustrating, wouldn’t try the games so much, and didn’t want to deal with it. And because I was dealing with some pretty intense stuff at the time, I figured I’d just wait until, oh, I don’t know, she found something she really wanted to do that needed typing and say “here you go, have at it!”So this time around it’s going much better. She says she doesn’t like all of the music, she thinks some of it’s annoying and that the lessons and games could be more interesting. And yet, when I tried to get my computer back to write this review, she kept playing the games, even after I told her to get off. So, that tells me they’re a bit more interesting then a 10 year old should want to admit to her mother. My perspective is that this is a better suite of lessons and games then I’ve seen available for free instruction on-line, and it was worth the price. It has run on two different computers with different versions of Windows (we’re currently running windows 10 and it works fine with that also), and I feel like it’s definitely a serious step up from how I had to learn typing back when I was in high school. Back when we actually had to use fossils called type writers.I think the take home message from this is that this is an effective bit of software, and will totally get the job done. How your child receives it, if you are planning on using it with a kiddo, may depend on their age and enthusiasm level for learning how to type. I don’t see anything wrong with it and would have found it infinitely preferable to the manner in which I learned typing back in high school.

With phone messaging — keyboard skills are not needed. However in the business world with emailing and using Office 365 – keyboard skills are still needed. This product can be used for older students or adults to increase speed and accuracy. It keeps you interested by providing the user with a variety of typing plans, lessons, tests, and games.

The software is ok but the customer service is horrible. I had computer issues with an old computer that I replaced. There is a limit on the number of installs which I exceeded. The process to remedy that is a help desk ticket system you get to after a long winded and patronizing voice message when you call. Nobody needs to hear 20 scenarios on why someone else wants to call. Get more numbers so people calling in don’t roll their eyes. Even when I did try and submit a help desk ticket, the web site would not accept it even when all required fields were entered. There was no feedback at all. The whole process stinks and not worth the $20 I spent on it. I am getting my money’s worth right now. Who actually limits the number of installs? Can’t they tell when I register how many copies I am running? I thought this stopped in 1985, the year most companies like this went under. I would not buy this again even for the software and the whole customer service process stinks. I would not buy any software from Individual Software again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Before installing I made sure to have my cd’s Activation Key available. Also, I hadn’t installed it already on any other PC. I think this can be installed on only one PC, but maybe two are allowed. The seller could maybe clarify that detail.With the one PC I installed it on, the program does allow for more than one user profile. I haven’t had to set up additional accounts, but I think allowance is made for up to five users.Installation from the cd seemed to just “hang”, like nothing was happening. I gave it ten minutes and then noticed on my taskbar an icon for the Install Shield Wizard. It was hidden behind the screen that first opens from the cd. It might’ve just appeared then or earlier on, but patience nevertheless is a recommended tool for anyone’s Windows toolkit.After installation completed, the Activation Key was required upon opening the installed program. Once activated, this Platinum version Typing Instructor program has since performed fine on my Windows 11 system.I am an adult user of this program whose interest in it is for times when my typing skill feels a little “rusty”. I can add to this program content of my own creating for use as practice articles, or as tests to refresh my skill. That is my favorite feature why I’ve stuck to this product.In the absence though of one’s own content, the selection of lessons, tests, practice articles, games and more provide plenty to work with for experienced leisure users like me, or for new learners. As a repeat consumer of this software, I do recommend it.

I purchased this disc about 8 years ago, and taught myself to type. Since then, I occasionally go back to polish my skills. It’s THAT good.But, beware! I had no trouble loading my 8 year old disc onto my Windows 11 laptop using an external drive. It worked wonderfully. But there is a downloadable version of what is essentially the same software that requires an annually renewed subscription. That is a laughable reach for legal extortion. The program is fine, just as it is. It’s self-contained. What would anyone need a subscription for, to begin with?If you don’t have a disc drive in your computer, buy an external one. They cost about $25.00 – $30.00 and will save you money in the long run.Long story short, get this disc, not the downloadable subscription of the same software featured elsewhere on Amazon.

Great program, makes learning a new language fun!

I am not able to pull it up on my phone. It keeps wanting to sell me more babble information, more than three months worth. I’m getting very frustrated and there is no refund.

I have always wanted to learn a new language but just don’t have time to sit in a physical class. I’ve seen a lot of ads on social media about Babbel and decided to give it a try. So far I love it!! You can set a reminder to do a class which is great. The lessons are short but have a lot of practice prompts. It is also a really good price. You can choose how long you want to have access to lessons which is a great motivator to get things done.

Great learning platform, especially if you are trying learn basic and advanced second language.The lessons are in ways to help reinforce and memorize what you are learning. You really get to practice. I like the review sections (flashcards, writing, speaking, etc.)Very good software. You even get to speak it back to make sure you saying it correctly.The only reason I am giving a 4, as I would like to be able to review in my car, and the is software really requires interaction, so listening in the car does not really work. Also, you cannot go to sleep listening to what you have been learning which would be nice.Otherwise, highly recommend this to anyone who is trying to learn a new language.

I think it is a fun and easy way to learn a new language. They used a quick little quiz/memory game to test what you learn in your session. I think it’s suitable for all of us living busy lifestyles and feel we don’t have enough time to do certain things. I love that it offers several languages for you to choose from and you can change which one you’re learning at any time.

I used this program to help me learn Spanish for working with my Spanish speaking students, future travel, and personal enrichment. I really liked the different features whether it was matching words, fill in the blank, speaking, and listening and writing. It really helps since I’m a visual learner because usually I can see a sentence and understand it. But, if I hear it, I cannot as well. Babble pushes me to listen and translate.

I tried the free version of Babbel and wanted to upgrade to the subscription. They sent me way too many email solicitations but I finally decided to try a paid subscription- put all my information in, and nothing happened. Now I tried the Amazon version to try a subscription and the voucher is not working. The app just keeps telling me I need to upgrade for the full version. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but seems like it shouldn’t be this complicated – I just wasted my money.

Technically 4.5 stars. The learning experience is awesome online, the value of unlimited time and languages is unparalleled, but mobile app is WEAK (just use the online interface). As for the Rosetta Stone experience, while I’ll admit my laziness in actually being diligent about using it, when I do it’s awesome and I really do get a quick absorb of the language (French in this case). Also, unlike listening to my wife use DuoLingo and learning stupid words you would never need off the bat (e.g. whale), what you learn through Rosetta Stone is actually useful and applicable.Rosetta Stone – FIX THE APP!!!

I got the lifetime subscription around Christmas time and combined with other resources (easy reading materials, watching Youtube videos and music or podcasts in your target language and getting a dictionary which is recommend regardless how you go about learning a language) , this really helped with my French and right now focusing on learning Spanish (also sometimes dabble in Japanese, Korean and Mandarin).It doesn’t have every language; but does have a lot of the most common and popular ones which is great as other programs don’t always have Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, etc…. My biggest piece of advice is that really should get a headset with a microphone to really pick up when you speak. This is the most frustrating part, especially for beginners; but not their fault per say as this is a common issue with almost every program/app. Lessons are broken up by grammar, vocab, writing (at least the web version) and speaking. I am not sure for every language; but some lessons do have translations if you click on it which is useful; but overall, the first lessons are probably easy to figure out as they usually just have a word for animals, people, food, numbers, etc….with pictures. It will get more complex though as you continue,. But if you write it down and use a dictionary (even free online ones such as Papago or DeepL), it can really help you out a lot. Practice, exposure (why I suggesting reading and listening) and consistency is key to learning a new language. This can also be a good aid when taking courses. The lessons will even tell you how well you did and if you passed them or not. Another issue though is that you do have to get around a 90% to pass. While you can just go back over lessons and should if there is something you are struggling with before moving on to the next unit, it can be a bit time consuming at times.The lifetime version was worth it as I can use it for as long as want and switch back and forth between any of the languages that they do have. It used to be extremely expensive in the past; though pretty reasonable now, especially when there is a holiday sale.

I read the product thoroughly and went to the Rosetta Stone store here on Amazon. Rosetta made it sound like I would be getting the lifetime package and could switch between languages at will and have all the lessons available. That did not turn out to be the case. I spent around $170 for access to several languages of value to me and so far, I am only able to study one language at all, and I’m not convinced I have the lifetime package for that one language either.There is no tech support to help you. I went through all the FAQs and Help articles Rosetta has. This is for an older version of the product that they technically no longer support. This is an outdated product that doesn’t give what it claims. Have no fear however, I found a loophole!I activated this language learning puppy on my laptop and set it up to learn modern Greek. I also wanted to do Korean and Irish Gaelic. I feel like the program was mocking me with, “well, how does it feel to want?” So, I tried something out. I downloaded the Rosetta Stone App from the Apple Store, and placed it on two different devices. On one device, I logged in as myself but since it was the first time logging in on that particular device, I was able to select a completely different language than Greek, so I chose Irish.Then, on the other device, I got to go through the same process. Download the app on different devices and log in, and pick a different language for each device. I now have my Rosetta Stone set up for the three languages I want. Now, I have not tested each device beyond lesson 1, so I still don’t know if I have the lifetime access and can go through all the lessons free of charge or not. If I cannot and the apps request payment, then I will come back here and update this review with that information.For now, all I know is: this product package isn’t supported by Rosetta, once you activate it you only get one language to learn and cannot switch between any languages at all, and the work around for switching languages is to download the app on many devices and designate each device to a particular language.The unknown: does the app register that you have lifetime access and not charge you?

Yes my activation key did not work. So I emailed Rosetta Stone with the information. They got back to me with a case number and they wanted proof of purchase. After all is said and done I called them and the problem was resolved to my liking. I love the lessons and their format

Outstanding value! Totally amazed by the massive number of legal documents for the price. Fairly easy interface and data entry is a snap.

Unlike the other review, I just received this software and since I no longer have a disk drive, I had to download it to my computer. I use Windows 10. I followed their directions and had no problem. I’m now in the middle of setting it up. So far so good. When I am down, I will review it again!

Saves you from the everyday need of a lawyer. Soon, AI will be on the scene but until then this works ok. Pays for itself if you only use just once.Wish there was a bit more customization, but overall a good product if all you need are basic legal docs.

Just as described

Their website has been taken down to be able to use it without the disc. Unless you have a computer you can put the disc in…don’t buy it. You can not get on their site they say to go to put in your code to use it. Wasted my $40 (as I waited too long to return it) and on page 25 of searching online of the site they say to go to ..you will find it’s down and there is a ton of reviews of others that said they wasted their money too. I hear it’s great if you can use the disc though.

I loved this book. It has so much good information. I am a new business owner and I love having this book so refer to.

not what i expected

great software

As much as you can call a CD-ROM game a classic, Oregon Trail is such. It was one of the first extended play CD games to make good use of the computer over the video game console. So far, it has been through five versions. The second was such an improvement over the first, that users may have had extremely high expectations for the next several versions of the game, but there has never been the leap in graphics or play options since the jump from one to two.However, the smoothness of play, and the speed of the game have improved with each version. While five doesn’t have the options that four had, and is in some ways a rehash of the second version, it is still the best. Four had too many bugs and glitches. If you have never played Oregon Trail, or have played only one of the first two versions, I would reccomend five over the other available versions (all are available used through Amazon.com).If you have never played Oregon Trail, at all, you are missing out; OT is a simulation of the journey made in the 1840’s by so many Americans from the Mid-West to California. Even though the game is simple, the harshness and difficulty of the journey communicate unmistakably. It is a wonderful simulation. Kids will play it over and over without realizing it’s “educational,” and adults won’t care.This is a great game.

I love this game. I grew up on it and it is a great learning tool. Although they need up update their stuff because while these will run on Windows 10 they don’t let you finish the game. After playing some of the game it cuts out and kicks you off the game. My kids were really bummed because they LOVED this game!

is a really cool game. even though its very rigged to make you fail. lots of reviews on this game talked of it not working. it worked perfectly for me. took 2 minutes to install. 3 minutes later was playing it. i think is an automatic update function that needs to be turned on for the games launcher to function. it so primitive that i dont think its had an update since 1848. but the game must use this launcher. its like “Steam”. you cant access your game if “Steam” wont start. this does not use “Steam” is more like a schools game launcher program with “wheres carmen san diego” and other learning games.

This is a funny game. But, a lot of reading.

As a kid I remember playing this on a Apple II but when you have less than an hour in the computer lab at school there is not much you can do. I finished my first game with the 5th Edition just last night – a four hour game – and felt good for making it, with all the members of my party alive, four out of the six oxen I started out with, some money, some supplies, a wagon still in on piece and even 10 skill points I didn’t use when I made my character. And I was a farmer to boot! Course, I also played at the Greenhorn level but I enjoyed it. And learned a lot. Rest before going up or down hills. Go easy – don’t rush. Food is more important than anything else but keeping the wagon working and oxen healthy. I plan to pick my own supplies next time and maybe fish and gather more than hunt – you don’t waste ammo when you fish. Frankly, I may just leave the rifle and ammo behind, and just bring a few extra fishing rods. Maybe bring more salt, leave the coffee behind and so on. As you can see I am already planning my next game and that’s still at the Greenhorn level. The guide in the game seemed very helpful and you should use it as much as you can – it gives you a lot of information on certain campsites and about the trails themselves. I went slow – 8 miles a day – and made sure that everybody, much of the time, had three meals a day. Even with a lot of mistakes – selling my water keg and trying to rush through the mountains – I still made it. Because of that I would suggest it for kids also. Kids hate it when they die. But if they win, even after all the tough decisions and rough terrain, it will make them feel great.And they learn while they play. Hehe!

Anyone purchases this game to play on a new Mac – system OS10 an above should be aware that this game will be useless to you. The system requires the font New York 18 to run. It is impossible to find and download this font on the internet, and unless you have access to the OS9 system disks, you will be very frustrated and waste much time. I took my laptop to the Apple store and they were able to download the font from an internet site that I have since been unable to find. However, once installed, the game is skippy and the audio sped up. I am sooooo frustrated and unhappy. This was a great game, and I need it for my fourth grade Oregon Trail unit. This information is not stated when you purchase this game – so I hope this post can get moved to the top of the list. IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO FIX THIS ISSUE (please don’t say Google New York 18 – been there – done that – for hours) I would appreciate the help so much. [email protected]

This is a good learning game, the newest version available and better than the previous versions.

I really like the 3rd edition better, because you can choose who you want in your wagon, the graphics/people look better, and the game is less ‘animated’ educational, and more realistic educational. (and fun). This edition is fun, and you can get through the trail a little quicker than past editions, but I am still disappointed that the updated edition is not as good as the old one.This version is very much based on points you recieve for things; you choose your level (greenhorn, adventurer, trail guide) based on the types of decisions you want to make, you choose your profession based on the points multiplier you want (and amount of money you want to start with), and you make all decisions based on the points you recieve in the end. There is less of a show, also, when you reach oregon city (it actually seems like this version is a bit dumbed down, or something).However, it probably would entertain younger kids because this version is a little simpler, and offers more personalization for the intensity of game you are looking for.Overall, still a fun game, but if your computer will run the 3rd editions, i would get that one instead.

I have been practicing diligently with this program for about two weeks. I have improved my typing speed by about 15 wpm in that time, from about 35wpm to 50 wpm. I think the main factor that has helped my speed is practicing the exercises that have taught me to touch type the numbers at the top of the keyboard, and the symbols at the top, bottom and far right side of the keyboard. I was already mostly doing that with the letters of the alphabet, but I had never learned to touch type the numbers and symbols (except very common ones, like the comma and period). It’s so nice to be able to type without constantly looking down. This program gives a lot of practice options that I believe will keep most people engaged. Of course, you have to practice to make it work, but I can definitely say, based on my results, that if you do practice your typing will improve. Additionally, the program has training exercises to teach you to touch type ten key (the numbers on the far right of your keyboard). I have never been able to do that, until now. Improving my typing is my priority, so I spend most of my time on that, but I have been spending a little time on learning the ten key, and that is improving daily as well.I used to work at a temporary staffing agency, and so many people would come and apply for clerical work, thinking that because they could use personal email and search the internet that they could work as administrative assistants. Often the typing speed was very low, and data entry as well. We had training programs that they could use to learn software programs like MS Word and Excel, but we did not have anything to use for typing practice. Too bad. If I worked there again, I would tell everyone who needed to improve to just buy this inexpensive teaching program.

I enjoy the program and it has helped me type faster, but I have had problems with the product. The download had glitches , so I bought the software and the music does not work on the program. I can still type, but the music helped make it more fun.

A very nice program that is basic but helps hone your typing speed and accuracy. Great for beginners. Once installed you can use it offline. If your on a budget and need to advance your typing skills, this is the program to get..

This product and business is a scam .. j didn’t want the product not compatible w my pc .. returned and they said it was damaged.. not even removed from packaging. They didn’t refund but I talked w Amazon and thought it was resolved.. but just noticed I’m being charged monthly – since January! Calling tomorrow.. I don’t recommend this company or product. Rip off .. you can get a free typing program online. They won’t respond.. must be offshore somewhere.

I bought this for my 15 year old son to help teach him the home row and to familiarize him with actual typing, not just gaming on the keyboard. It is easy and the lessons are quick and not too long. I also found out that I type 50 wpm! This is a great product!

I was disappointed with this product. It had such nice reviews. I had problems with it installing on Windows XP. I asked for help over email and phone – no customer service response! Fortunately we just purchased Windows7. It worked on it fine, and it seems to be a good software, except for one game not working. I exchanged the CD, thinking it’s a defective one, but the next one showed the same problem. Again, no customer service, even after registering the product.

I’ve always loved math and I played this in my elementary/middle school growing up. It increased my math skills by getting me to actually know my multiplication and division. The only way to complete missions is by completing math equations and you can pick levels to your child’s math level. Bought it for my little sister so she have a computer game that has education tied into it. This game will keep math skills sharp over Christmas and summer breaks.

I debated on writing a review. But, I will. This did not work with any computer that I owned. I had to return it. Probably would have been fun had it worked. Pay attention at the requirements.

Brought a while ago and just opened – tried to use it and none of the buttons clicked are processed by the game. Doesn’t work. Not recommended.

Nice quick delivery. Math Blaster helped my oldest when he was struggling with math years ago. I hope my youngest will get the same result.

Please make sure you order the correct version for your system. I mistakenly ordered wrong version and can not use.

I guess I didn’t read the fine print because when this arrived it contained 2, not 1 game! Bonus! Totally inexpensive for the one game, very pleased that it was 2. My kids love these games. They are fun and very educational. I have probably every Cluefinders CDrom. Love them all. It is so nice when your kid is begging for more computer time so he can play Cluefinders and is happily learning essential math and language art skills as well as geography all at the same time. Works on my Vista which is great because so many of the other educational games don’t even though they say they do.

Clue-finders are great games for learning, however if you decide to buy other clue-finders games, this one includes a second cd, Mystery of the Missing Amulet, which is the same as the Clue-finders Reading adventures for 9-12, I wasted some money not knowing, now I own 2, would have been nice if they had the name in the title.

I purchased this software last month but I am unable to rate it because it locked up during the “Pattern” skill. Maybe it is just my version, but my grandchildren were disappointed.

I bought this for my 10 year old grandson. It works on windows 10. It is a Christmas gift and I know we will be happy with it as we have used their programs for years.

I played clue Finder games as a kid for hours and loved it helped with solving problems, math, English, and social skills. I haven’t played this game yet since I personally didn’t it as a child. I wanted to get a few that I didn’t play and try them out as an adult.

Well, I have been waiting for this game for a while and I was finally able to get it! The shipping was fast and so far it seems it works just fine. You do get 2 games which is nice since I did not have the other one. So far is good, when I finish it I will see if i write another review if there was something bad with it. Good purchase so far! 😀

Even though I am now much older than the suggested of the games, I ordered them anyway because (1) due to their anachronistic nature, no one else will want them so they’re cheap and (2) I loved playing them as a child, but I never got to go through all of the different stories.I managed to go through almost all of them — yes, that’s right. I was stumped by a kid’s game, but in my defense I think something is wrong with the CD. I could NOT for the life of me get it.But I LOVE THEM ALL. I’M SO GLAD I GOT THEM.

In grade school, I remember us lovingggg computer class.These old computer games were so much fun, and we learned a lot!I know these discs are old, but because they are still listed on Amazon, I thought they would still work.Disappointed because I purchased a few, and each ran too slow and froze up the laptop screen.

We purchased this for our 5-year old twins and they love it. It is fun and educational, providing a variety of activities within the program, as well as music videos (Echo Location is the hot video among the Kindergarten Set) and printed projects. I would highly recommend this software.

My son is 6 & he plays this with his 4 year old brother. He has learned many new facts about the different places he visits in the software. Most of all they love the crafts they get to make. Seem slike you earn points & then based on how many points you have you can earn crafts to do that relate to the places you have been. They really enjoy playing this & they have told me many things they have learned about Egypt, China, the Antarctic and other places they visit in the program.

My son finished this game in a day maybe he was to old (8yrs old) or super excited lol
