Awesome item. Easy to install. Uses a normal light bulb, so super easy to replace. Very clean looking.I edited this review after hearing back from customer service about the original issue (see below) their suggestions worked and removed the residue from the protective plastic sticker that was on the hood.This item arrived with a protective blue plastic peel off piece across the front of the hood. After installation, I removed this blue plastic to find that there are marks all over the front of the hood now from that blue plastic. I tried first cleaning them off with just a soft rag and water nothing. Then I tried Windex that didn’t work. So I tried a soft drag with some Dr. Bronner‘s soap and that had no effect either. Otherwise it is a lovely hood. Not sure how to get rid of these ugly marks.I took a photo, but it’s very hard to photograph.

We are remodeling our kitchen and needed a new range hood…. and it had to be white. The box stores had very few choices of white range hoods. I chose this one because our old one was a Nu Tone and it lasted for over 40 years. I’m sure this one won’t last that long, but it has all the features of the old one.We did not install this ourselves. Our painter did it for us. He installed it quickly with no problems.Since we still haven’t completed the remodel, we haven’t really used the filter and fan but the LED light is much brighter.

Bought this to replace the same thing that we’ve had for over 15 years. The old one had yellowed and looked worn. Didn’t research this one much since it was the same. If I had I would have caught that you have to order the light cover separately. Really? Talk about cheapening out to cut costs. Other than that it works great and looks nice.

I’ve had the Broan-NuTone 413004 Non-Ducted Range Hood for four years, and it’s been incredibly durable and dependable. The stainless steel finish still looks great, and it’s super easy to clean. The built-in lights and exhaust fan work efficiently, making it a practical and stylish addition to my kitchen. A solid choice for anyone needing a ductless under-cabinet solution.

I got the item quickly and it was was in good condition. However i did not get the installation kit. As a result it delayed the installation. I only got the filter with the item. I gave 3 star as i did not get the kit with it. But it works fine and does what it is made for.

Simple, sleek, clean look. We needed a simple hood as we added a secondary stove. This fit perfect and it gets the job done. It’s light weight and easy to install. Helps remove the heat and odors from the room. The noise level is okay, slightly loud when on high but they all do that, I have yet seen or found a “quiet” one. It does not bother me as long as it works and does what it needs to.

Hubs finally put this in my kitchen, I absolutely love it , read reviews light wasn’t bright, but I beg to differ it lights up my kitchen area . Semi easy to install, ( screws were not long enough , so make sure you measure your cabinet) cleans up well and looks great, price was good .

Easy to install cheap. Quality is mediocre at best. Suction is minimal and the fan and components are lack luster. If it was up to me, I would go with a little bit more of an expensive model maybe $30-$50 more. It’s worth it for the upgrade.

I’m going to award 5 stars for this hood, but I want to be clear about the trade-offs being made in this purchase. So, let’s say you live in a nice house, but you want to upgrade your “builder-grade” under cabinet hood to match your new 36 inch gas stove. When I say, match your stove, I mean your hood has to be able to draw in the gases (fuel+CO), smoke and grease. Without a decent hood, your gas stove is going to be a source of pollutants, irritation to the lungs and even cause asthma (apparently). So a good range hood is essential. Now, I normally think of high quality appliances as being heavy and sturdy, with lightweight appliances being cheap. So, I was disappointed when I first lifted the feather weight package. I thought how can something so light be better than what I have? But, lighter materials allow cheaper shipping, which allows more technology. Frankly, this is the ONLY range hood I have seen with gesture controls, whereby you can simply wave your hand in front of the sensor and change the speed or turn on or off the lights. Wave left or wave right to go up or down in fan speed. For the low price, light weight item you are also getting 3 fan speeds instead of 2 from the big box stores. I use the lowest setting mostly, but if I use multiple burners I need to crank it up. It is relatively quiet and sounds ‘smooth’ like a fan without obstruction. Surprisingly it is advertised as 450 cfm, that is double the power of most of the similar priced hoods I am seeing. Now, I have no way of proving it is 450 cfm, but the high setting seems to be drawing a lot of air. You also get your choice between ducted (mine) or a ductless filtered system. I advise going ducted if you can, because it is less maintenance and the smells go outside rather than clogging a filter. Now, interestingly, this unit blows the Samsung model out of the water when it comes to actual surface area of the hood that draws air. The Samsung has a 30 inch model with about a 15 inch area that draws air. This one is much wider to (I think) draw more air. So, these factors are why I am giving it a 5 star review. I also saw that Comfee won a consumer award for some appliance, so the manufacturer seems legit. Yet, I still have reservations about the feather weight appliance that enables such great technology. Firstly, I have read the reviews before posting my own. Not one of the 11 reviews mentioned the gesture controls, but instead referred to the touch controls. I assume this is because the gesturing might take time to get used to (waving your hand instead of touching a button). But it might be because it isnt working. Indeed, when I first received my unit I was standing in front of the sensor (do not block the sensor) and my gesturing was inoperable. I ended up getting a replacement because I did not think gesturing worked. And in reality, it seemed to vary according to how fast/hard I waved my hand. And we have to wonder how often the smoke and grease will clog the sensors? I have no idea about that. I also worry about digital controls. How long will they last, as compared to manual controls? With all of this said, for the added technology and the more powerful cfm (which I think is safer as it pulls more exhaust out of the living area) and the wider area for the fan to operate as compared to competitors, I still give it 5 stars. I suppose the worst that could happen is needing to replace it after couple of years (it has a one year warranty). All up, it is kinda cool and a little awesome if you have appropriate expectations.

Only negative I have about this is the fan doesn’t seem very strong. Install is super simple and looks great.

Junk. Don’t buy.First one I bought was sent to me used (even though I bought new). It was scratched up and one of the buttons was stuck in (the on position).So I returned it and reordered the same thing. Second one arrived and looked new. We installed it. It’s now been 2 weeks since install (but 40 days since purchase) and two of the buttons are also stuck on the on position.Now you know why it’s cheap. Wish I’d never installed it. Now I’ll have to spend considerably more to uninstall, buy a different brand, and install new one. Wish I could still return it.

I highly recommend this portable range hood. When I cook steak or anything that requires high heat, the next thing I know, I’m receiving a call from my alarm company to ensure I’m not burning the house down, which I appreciate nonetheless. However, this can get a wee bit annoying. I came across this and saved it, then when Prime hit, I was notified that there was a better price. So, I pounced, and let’s say, it worked greatly! I used it in my kitchen, of course, and the noise was no louder than the top range. So it didn’t add any obnoxious news whilst cooking. AND, the best part… the alarm did NOT go off. The portable hood is easy to clean (wipe down) and works as needed. I recommend this product if you need extra suction power for high-heat cooking.

Got a new stove top took our exhaust fan out & didn’t want a big overhead fan. Only used it a couple of times but works as well as my old built in fan. I thought it might be a bit smaller but it works to get it out & set next to burners for xhausr fan.

. I needed two range hoods for my new remodeled kitchen. After considerable research, I selected a 30” and a 36” IKTCH 900 CFM. My kitchen is very large so it was essential to select hoods with high CFM. Both hoods arrived the same day , packed well and in perfect condition. My professional installer had no problems installing both. They are modern, beautiful and though I haven’t used them a lot yet, they are quiet and appear to be efficient. A nice addition are the remote controls they come with that allow you to adjust according to your needs. But What was really impressive is their customer service. My home was burglarized during the remodel and left is a state of chaos. I searched everywhere to locate the the instruction booklets and the remote controls but never was able to locate them. I contacted customer service and explained my dilemma. I offered to buy new remotes but the customer rep EMMA was so wonderful, she offered to send me two new remotes for free and sent me a link to download the instructions. Wow! It’s difficult to find a good product backed by great customer service. I have no doubt that if anything goes wrong with my new hoods, customer service will stand by their product. If it is important to you to buy from a company that stands by its product, consider IKTCH.

Our exhaust fan was just installed last week, and took a bit of a learning curve to figure out how to make the hand controls work (tip — swipe your hand quickly below the sensors rather than slowly), but so far I love it and it’s working exactly as it should! And I love the additional lighting it provides over the cooktop work area! It looks very high-end and streamlined. I did have a couple of questions about it and reached out to customer service. Emma from IKTCH has been so wonderful in helping resolve the issue and following up to see if installation went well and if we’re happy with the product, which we definitely are! So I’d give an additional 5 stars for the amazing customer service!

Absolutely love my Range insert. I love how the light dims and it runs very efficiently. I had a question about the light and the customer service rep. Emma was fantastic and immediately resolved my issue and gave me instructions on how to dim the light. She even followed up to make sure it was working properly. We installed the IKTCH range hood three weeks ago and it works very well. It is a little bit loud when used at the highest setting, but it works great. If used at a lower setting, it is not too noisy. We also needed to install a duct cover and Emma from customer services answered all our questions. We are very happy with the product and their customer service department.

We love our range hood. It’s easy to clean, the fan is very powerful, but not loud like some range hoods can be. We did have an issue with the main control board, so I reached out to customer service and they responded right away. They were very friendly and helpful and agreed to send me the new part.

The sensor feature is not great. My husband was using it before it was put up and almost immediately after it was permanently installed they never worked again.

The installation was made easier by an included template. Since I have a custom kitchen with a window where the vent was installed the actual installation was a little more challenging because I couldn’t place the vent lower than 29 inches from the top of the stove. This made the vent sleeves above the fan too long. As a result I only used the sleeve with the air discharge vents in the top because I chose the ductless option. Vivi with customer service was very helpful in helping me get set up with the correct charcoal filters. I bought this 30″ model because of it’s ability to move a lot of air when necessary. However, I find that most of the time I only need to run it at it’s lowest setting and the noise level is very tolerable. When you turn it to the 2nd and 3rd speed of course the noise level is louder but, in my opinion, you’d only have to use these settings for a short while to clear excessive smoke.

So far I’m loving this stove hood in my kitchen as an upgrade to my old hood. Once installed, this feels rock solid on the wall. The fan airflow is super strong, but also gets a bit loud on the highest setting so I mostly run it on low or medium. The size was as described, and it even came with a pre-printed paper installation template for screw placement. The stainless steel sections look quite nice and were protected by plastic film in the box. The light only has on and off, no dimming, which is fine for me as I only use it while cooking (not as a night light). Only caveat with the advertised. functionality. is you need extra charcoal filters if you want to run this ductless, which they can send you or you can look up Cosmo CFK1-TM filters which should fit. Overall a great value for such a nice unit!

I purchased this product during my house renovation. I am pretty satisfied as it turns out to be a better choice compared to the other pricy brand I have used. The stainless steel quality is very good, strong and beautiful. It looks pretty nice in my kitchen after installation, and especially the non-touch sensor function impresses that anyone can switch between the fan power by waiving my hand without touching the control panel. Secondly, it is also quiet when functioning and even at the highest level of fan, it is still good. With 980CFM, it clears all kitchen smell out when my wife stir fries dishes. Last but not the least, Great Customer Service! It is very important for a product selling online if customers get response in time for questions or parts for replacement. I was not very sure part of the installation was done correctly by my contractor and emailed the customer service to confirm. The representative Vivi responded quickly even it was their holiday time. So much appreciated of the timely response and help.

Really solid range hood. Our smoke detector was going off constantly, but now our range hood sucks the smoke up immediately. I ducted it through the roof, worth doing if you do it right.

The smoke I’m testing it with drifts around with almost not noticeable impact. It is vented through an exterior wall. I guess *maybe* it will capture whatever smoke or steam floats literally directly into it… but it’s little more than a noisy pipe. I guess that’s what I get for saving money and getting a cheap vent. Also, the touch screen controls are finicky and sometimes it takes a few tries to get it to respond. If I feel like it one day I’ll buy a more expensive “real” vent hood, I guess…

The suction power isn’t that bad. We bought the 36” it’s not too big for our space. It’s worth the money.

Came perfect and well packaged but I don’t know why they would cut these at 29 1/2 inches when all standard cutouts for appliances are at 30 inches. We had to do some extra trim around the tile and the cabinets to make it look like it was custom. The stainless steel itself is great quality, has a really good look and it protects my wall. We will see how it holds up to everyday cooking but as long as I don’t take a scrubbing pad to it, I think it will keep its shine and look. Happy with my purchase but wish it were an actual 30×30 piece.

great range hood with strong airflow, I have a Smog detector at home that came active with even a Bit smog, but this range help to flow smog out of home, because of its great suction power.

This range hood is a perfect fit for our remodel and we were very impressed with the easy installation.

The media could not be loaded. Upon unboxing you quickly realize why it is much cheaper than the competition. Instructions and templates are almost useless as the English is terrible. The product itself works well. The light is okay, I wish it could be brighter. I cook mostly on the back burners closest to the wall now, as they sit directly under the vent. The vent has great suction but the suction isn’t dispersed to the front burners very well. Installing the cover that goes over the vent pipe it tedious work, I gave up and used self tapping sheet metal screws. I also don’t recommend using the supplied flex duct. That becomes a fire hazard 10 years down the road when grease inevitably accumulates in each wrinkle. Instead I reduced the vent size from 6” to 4” and used smooth wall snap duct from the big box store. Much easier to work with and gives you more pride in your work for going above and beyond. I didn’t have a vent through the ceiling before and I didn’t want to hole saw a 6” hole as that would’ve landed me directly on a stud above the ceiling. If I was a tad more wealthy I would’ve bought a higher end fixture, but this works just as well.

DO NOT waste your money in this. Not worth it, I had it professionally installed and he said it was one of the cheapest crap made he’s ever installed.Spend an extra $80-120 for a good quality one.

Excellent quality for the money. Beautiful looking range hood, easy to install by myself, quiet as promised. It’s a little short, but works really well. We use the ductless version with charcoal filters. I do agree with other reviewers that the blue film is a pain to remove from the baffle filters.

Installation was easy – we didn’t cuss or get mad at each other not one single time. Range hood looks nice, and works well. The light is sufficient, the fan is a bit noisy, but it’s not as if it runs a long time. The logo comes with it, so you can decide if and where you want to apply it.

Low profile, quiet, and easy to install. My family could not believe how quiet this is compared to the old unit we replaced. It looks nice in our kitchen and it appears to be really easy to clean.

This hood is a well-built and functional product at a good proce point. Well designed, sturdy, easy to install with the clear instructions provided, and has a quiet but efficient fan. The filters are very easy to clean. I really like this hood. The one drawback is the light is not very powerful.

The Cosmo range hood was jus what I was looking for it looks very stylish & modern.I also like the fact that it’s quiet & clears out smoke very fast from the kitchen. The led light is a plus as well it lights up the area nicely..if you’re looking for a nice sleek & modern range hood this is it. Overall I am very happy with my purchase

Product is easy to install on our own. It can be used ductless or with duct .Easy setup to setup this in duct in top or rear. Looks compact and beautiful in the kitchen

Installed as a ductless range hood. Used the measurement template for under the cabinet installtion. Simple installation and usage. The push button is more reliable than the digital control. It looks elegant and has enough suction power.

Looks great, simple install, and had no issues. Only down a star because I wish the lighting was a bit brighter. Would have also been nice if it came with a carbon filter for the ductless install.

Good value. I like the slim style and that the logo badge was made to be optional. The low speed is pretty quiet. Two improvements could be made: 1) nuts and bolts, rather than screws for installation 2) stronger, less blue light.

Good quality, easy to install and appears to be a good value for the money. Was disappointed that the LED light was not brighter and also that there does not seem to be a cover for the wiring as is normally found on most hoods. Fan suction was good.

I ordered this and wasn’t sure what to expect and how hard it would be to put up. It definitely exceeded my expectations and was easy to install. Noise level is minimal. Build has exceeded expectations. And I personally think it looks great.

Light is about a fish tank strength, a little dim, but it works. Range is light duty, a little flimsy, but ok for the price. Hope it lasts. Install fairly easy.
