    this item worked great on my kitchen sink. length of handle is good. it does retain water and you have to pull out the toilet part for it to drain. no big deal. like the other reviewer stated there is an odor coming from it. i put it in the garage, no big deal! smell kept me from going with 5 stars

  • Heavy smoke smelling Rubber
    We loved this, but then could not figure out why the bathroom was starting to smell like fire again. We just came back to the house after 7 months displaced and remediating severe ash and soot damage and landscape debris removal from the So Cal fires. At one point my wife was wiping off the floor ad decided that the smell was getting much worse at the floor, thinking maybe a subfloor problem etc. I realized she was cleaning near the new plunger set that we had not quite unwrapped yet, picked it up and was BLOWN AWAY by the severe smell of smoke coming from the rubber plunger!!! I mean, enough to affect the whole room. We found the culprit and put it outside. It is so overpowering that it is not a smell that will dissipate. Must be a petroleum based rubber product on this plunger. Of course, the last thing we need after over a month of Servpro cleaning the interior is a product that has such a heavy smoke smell. It’s too bad, because we otherwise loved the set and how it neatly fit in and nice looking it was compared to a lot of alternatives.

    I’ve installed the Fluidmaster 400H-002 Performax Universal Toilet Fill Valve in all my toilets and generally love its performance—quiet, efficient, and easy to install. The adjustable settings make it versatile for different tank sizes, and it’s been reliable in most cases.However, one unit has an issue: it emits a high-pitched noise, likely from a leaking valve, and the water level slowly rises to the top of the overflow tube, wasting water. Jiggling the float temporarily stops the noise, but the problem persists. I raised the overflow tube to force the valve to shut off, but the water level still creeps up over time, indicating a faulty shutoff valve. Unfortunately, it’s past the return window, so I’m stuck with it.Check my attached photo for a visual of the issue (overflow tube and water level). I’d still recommend this product for its overall quality, but be aware of potential valve issues and test it promptly after installation. A replacement valve might resolve this for others.

    This unit is better than advertised. It is well built, easy to adjust re height, water flow etc. Five minute install which included time to read / see the notes regarding length of the unit adjustment, hose placement etc.Works as advertised. And the price……more than A ok.
  • Easy to install and customize.
    This was extremely easy to install and customize. Simply unscrew the water line and nut on the old fill valve and remove it. Then place this one in the tank and screw the nut on and connect the water. Make sure you turn off the water and hold down the flush lever to get rid of as much water as you can from the tank first. I was able to hold the old valve in place after removing the nut so I could place a pitcher under the hole to catch the remaining water.Once connected, you can turn the valve next to the soft tube to adjust the water flow or turn the knob above the float arm to adjust how much water goes into the toilet. The whole process took me a few minutes and the most difficult part was getting to the correct spot on the toilet due to tight spacing.I like how easily it can be adjusted once installed. No need to remove lines or anything, just turn the knob.The valve is no quieter than the OEM one, but it is also no louder when the fill knob is opened all the way. If you close that little knob a bit, the toilet will get noisier.EDIT: I realized some of the noise I was hearing was because the water shut-off wasn’t open all the way. Once I opened it, this became very quiet and it fills very quickly.One thing I will point out is that, while the description says you can adjust how much water is added to the tank and can control how much water is used during a flush, this may not work with your toilet. In my case, if I do not have it fill to the same level as before, the toilet doesn’t flush unless I hold the handle down longer, resulting in using the same amount of water overall.

  • Works Quickly – Great Seal and Suction
    I ordered the MR. SIGA toilet plunger in black. This one was much more effective for my toilet than the Clorox toilet plunger that has a similar caddy concept. The toilet I used it for has an elongated hole. The MR.SIGA plunger appears to be the same shape as the Clorox plunger but has a better suction and clears the clog with just 2-3 pumps. In terms of value for the money, the MR. SIGA plunger was twice the cost of the Clorox plunger, but sometimes you get what you pay for, and this seemed to be one of those cases. I have only used this plunger once so far, so if necessary, I will update my review if my opinion changes. I did not have any issues with the toilet water splashing like I did with the Clorox plunger and the design for the MR.SIGA brand seemed fancier. After my experience with the Clorox brand plunger, I decided to search for a heavy duty plunger, and this one showed up. I did not have any issues with the rubber leaving marks on my bright white toilet as some others mentioned. It created a nice seal and got the job done quickly. The caddy functions well. I have attached a photo of my toilet so that others are able to see the shape of the hole I used this plunger for. Again, the Clorox brand did not work well for me, but the MR. SIGA plunger was great the one time I used it. The plunger and caddy conveniently fits next to the toilet so that it is right there when you need it but is discreet and doesn’t leave you feeling gross with the plunger tucked away in the bathroom. I tucked mine away on the side of the toilet behind my Clorox toilet cleaner wand. It seems to have a nice weight, not heavy but doesn’t feel flimsy. I’ll see how it holds up over time.

    I am fond of every MR. SIGA product I’ve tried. This plunger is full sized, not some small thing that doesn’t work. I appreciate that it stays open while you use it and closes automatically when you put the plunger back in. The rubber is thick and strong. It’s stable on the floor and doesn’t shift around. The white makes it look clean.

    At first I was skeptical of the fancy little holder with the auto-open/close cover. Alas, it’s delightful. (And it’s a toilet plunger- so calling it a delight is something.) Made quick work of whatever issue was further down the pipe (knock wood)- great shape and solid fit in my american standard bowl. Handle was a little lightweight- but held fine. Hoping this gets as little use as my old one it replaced. Might be a little more expensive than the cheapest- but the little auto-cover on the holder is, in fact, nice if you keep this in the rood and within eyeshot of visitors. Would buy again if I needed another.

And when you have this plunger on your side, there’s no way you’re gonna destroy another one of your mother-in-law’s toilets.I’ve tried other plungers in the past, but they only mushed up the loaf into brown elegant streaks, the toilet very difficult and unrewarding to clean afterwards. But this plunger is a pro at creating the perfect amount of suction along the inner walls of the toilet canal to be able to really really shoot my loaf into the toilet pipe, and likely far beyond, with tremendous kinetic energy. I just know that if I didn’t have this trusty plunger by my side, that loaf would still be sitting there, mocking me, repeating my name in that guttural voice it knows i don’t like. That I can’t get out of my head to this day. Let me just put it this way, you don’t want to eat a Snickers bars out of the cup after writing mystic runes on the handle. That’s actually in the instruction manual but it’s in very small font so many people will miss it, let alone be able to decipher it.Also the caddy works wonderfully, It can withstand some vigorous thrusting. I probably could have thrust it even harder but I had the phone in one hand, and i learned my lesson the last time i had to go elbow-deep to fish my phone out, only to drop it back in once i realized it wasn’t going to turn back on. this plunger is built to last, and the perfect for thrusting on the go. Because when you’re packing that kind of brown bread, the last thing you wanna do is use the cheese knife to cut it into portions so it will go down easier. Those days are over. now you have this work of modern day ingenuity to shoot those hot brown snakes down into the sewers like a knife through a butter hole. and speaking of knives, looks like i don’t have to go out and buy a new set after all. I can just scrape off the ones that we had been using to slice loaves up into manageable pieces. Looks like we’ll be serving cheeseballs at this weekends’ party after all! And if anyone happens to fall ill from some unknown and completely unexplained foodborne illness, we’ve got this trusty succubus with its magnificent caddy ready to go. Pun intended.

    I love this plunger, it works great, and I flush toilet a couple more times to give plunger a good rinse to keep the container clean. I keep it in a corner that is discret, and it is not bad looking. I had my last one for 12 years, and the container finaly split , making sense due to the age of it.

    This is probably a good plunger, but it did not work with my toilet. The description does give the dimensions, but I didn’t think to measure the drain opening of my toilet. The plunger is smaller than the drain opening in my toilet, so it wouldn’t create a seal. Without a seal it doesn’t work.The caddy it goes in is great.Update: After a number of more tries at different angles, I hit on one that worked. The sound of the toilet flushing was like music to my ears.

    The hideaway quality of the housing is very handy and easy to use. One never needs to touch the housing.     I usually receive my Amazon purchases and use them without ever feeling the need to leave a review.However within two minutes of using this product I was talking out loud to myself how I’m not sure the reviews could even describe how amazing the Drain Weasel is.My shower was very, very clogged. It had been draining slowly but when I looked in after my last shower the next day, standing water.It took two min to understand the directions and assemble the tool, it worked within the first 10 seconds of use when a giant hair clog came out, which was both amazing and made me wonder if I was starting to go bald.This was a stubborn clog, I had to work at it for 30 min but the tool kept going. It was easy to use and kept pulling things out of the drain that both impressed me and made me me queasy.The only complaint I have is cleaning the end of the tool is a little difficult once the hair starts to stick to it, making it less “grippy” over time. The literature says you can sterilize and reuse the that part but after seeing what was attach to it there was no way I was going to do that. I also don’t fault the tool too much on this point, I needed up eventually pulling out a rat sized hairball from the back of my shower drain, so there was a TON of hair in there.I would happily buy this tool again and am already planning on using it on a problem sink this week. It is well worth the money.

  • It is easy and works amazingly well
    This is the best drain opening tool I have ever used. I’ve been really lousy at using proper plumbing snakes in the past, but this one is easy to use, gets around bends easily, and pulls up incredible gobs of hair from my bathroom sink. The first time I used it, the sight of the huge nasty ball of stuff emerging from the drain caught me off guard and I felt lightheaded, even though I’m not usually that squeamish. Whenever my bathroom drain starts to get slow I just pull out one of these and in about five minutes it’s back to draining freely. The only drawback is that I try to avoid single use plastics, so I feel a little bad about using something so disposable.

    I don’t usually leave reviews for products, but WOW, does this work!! My bathtub had recently started backing up during showers, which is what sent me searching. I knew something needed to be done, but I didn’t want to go the chemical route if I could help it, and wanted to try fixing it myself before calling my apartment’s maintenance team. I wasn’t 100% convinced even with seeing others’ reviews, but figured it’d be worth a try.Y’all, I had the clog removed in MAYBE all of five minutes. I only used two of the five removal wands, so now I have extras for the future! Value is great for the money in that regard, and my tub drain is completely clear now. Super simple to use & really does its job. I highly recommend!!

    Its like velcro. Yeah, it gets deep down the drain, but it doesnt grab much at a time and you cant get all the hair and gunk off so it stays dirty in between uses. ????

    What they said! I won’t post yet another photo of a gross hair clog, (they basically all look the same.) This set definitely works! I had a lot of trouble with the second shower drain, as the clog was huge and it got tightly wrapped around the part you can’t see under the stopper. I remembered using my needle-nosed pliers to get a clog out of a sink years ago. It worked once again. You have to shake the slimy soap off into the water in order to get a good grip on the hair clog. It took a few good yanks, but I finally got the entire clog of hair out. It kind of rips off in chunks at first.Only thing I hated was you can’t reuse the snakes. There should be someway to clean off some of the junk that sticks to it no matter what, for re-use. It’s a pretty expensive set for only five wands. But with the cost of liquid drano-type bottles of clog remover, it’s a matter of switching one disposable plastic for another. Also, the ad description does NOT state that each snake is for one-time use only. I hope they sell refills!

    This product is actually quite nice. The seller was very helpful when I needed an adapter. Quick response and got the part I needed.NOTE: if you have a faucet with a “hidden” aerator, one that needs a special key to remove, this device, as is delivered, likely won’t fit and you need an adapter. I needed the “Junior” adapter. Don’t give up on it, just know that it is going to be needed. In the photo attached, the manufacturer aerator is to the right of the faucet extener, on the surface. It’s small.I think the manufacturer my faucet, their aerator is just precise, is plastic, and can form into the receptacle. Where the adapter I needed is a bit more flexible and not a precise fit. Still, though, worth it.HOWEVER, I still rate this as five stars because it is nice, does what it says, looks fantastic, and has a very nice, solid “feel” to it. I worked for a week to get it on, and not leak, and just couldn’t do it. I felt like I was going to over tighten the adaptor and damage the faucet. Then, I realized that it drips like 5 times while use it to wash my hands, and that’s not a huge dealbreaker for me. It doesn’t spray, it just drips, just slowly. I love I can flip it up and take a sip, or flip it to wash hands, or rinse off the sink.Know that the seller of this extender provides a number of options for different sizes. When I first saw it, I was impressed with their design. One adapter with inside threads, AND outside threads, same adapter, multiple washers, and even teflon tape to make it fit just right. As i write this, i realize I didn’t put teflon tape one the Junior adapter (not the one that came with my faucet, but the adapter that goes in where the manufacturer aerator was) and will try that this week. Faucet manuracture doesn’t specify so to use teflon tape, so I didn’t try with the adapter I needed, or think of it until just now.I feel this was designed for a faucet with a visible aerator that you can remove with your fingers, or a pair of pliers. So keep that in mind. I think if that’s what you got, it’ll work like a charm. I don’t have that type, but I’ve had it in now for just over a week, and have *no* regrets.So, while this leaks, its not horrible, not that noticeable, and drips into the sink. I do not exclude the fact that it could be my incompetence to do it right. But, it’s not that much of a loss of water at all to get the flexibility that this little gadget can bring.It aerates the heck out of the water, which i like. Takes a second to get the use of it to extend, or drink from, or just adjust where it is. I have a smallish sink, with a narrow “throw” of the faucet, so this helped a ton.My only “complaint” which is I admit is minor, there was not a brushed nickel option, so I got the shiney one, and I actually looks nice with the rest of the brushed nickel look.This is the first time I have given a five star for someting that didn’t just go in with no issues.   • You can inexpensively add a sprayer to a faucet that never had one, in only a couple of minutes.
    This device converts from a normal water stream to a spray and back again with a twist of the ring at the end of aerator. I bought it because I used the sprayer hole in my granite counter top for a reverse osmosis nozzle and did not want to risk drilling another hole in the granite. With its ability to rotate on three axis, its a nice hands-free sprayer. It worked so well for the kitchen, that I bought one for our each our three bathroom sinks, also. It’s nice to be able to raise the height when filling a tall jar or lower it to reduce splashing when spraying dishes.Installation takes only a couple of minutes, and everything needed is included, such as thread tape, three sizes of gaskets, and a wrench to tighten the device when installing. It works so well and is so inexpensive that I gave several to family members.

    My wife asked me to purchase an extension for our Kitchen Sink. I bought this one.- The Oil Rubbed Bronze option is there, and looks good.- The kit comes mostly complete, with all the parts.- There is good Customer Service, in case all parts do not fit your sink.All in all, I am 4-Star happy with this product. It arrived jumbled, but most of the goods were there.The kit happened to fit my Kitchen Sink perfectly, which I thought was lucky.- It does leak (in places where you cannot put the included thread tape.There are two settings for the nozzle (Full, and Spray). I like this feature.All in all, this product is mostly complete (includes a wrench and an Allen tool), has semi-adequate instructions (which you may or may not use), and works pretty well (it does leak, and internally, not where you put the plumbers tape).

    It works exactly as advertised. It comes with 6-7 additional filters, I’m not sure how much they filter but it’s pretty nice that they have that. Installation is a piece of cake, it takes under five minutes, and it comes with all the tools you might need. It looks good and isn’t spilling right now.It does increase the water pressure, so be aware of that if you’re used to opening the faucet all the way instantly, it will make a mess. I have it on the regular water flow setting rather than the spray, because I’m used to just hitting the faucet open all the way, and with the spray, the water splashes outside a bit.

    It’s very easy to install, works great, and almost fun to play with. Plus, it’s sturdy. I was using a less expensive (cheaper) and limited swivel faucet kit in one of my sinks and it broke off inside the faucet forcing me to replace the entire faucet. There was no way to get it out. Not only is the CECEFIN model much heavier, far more sturdy and malleable, I have NO FEAR of it breaking off as did the less expensive and far less flexible one I’d used before. The fact that it swivels in every direction possible, you can actually move completely out of the way, which is great for shaving or even washing your face.
  • Great product if it fits your existing faucet.
    If you have a faucet with non removable aerator this will not work. I had to replace my 35 year old faucet in order to use this. Now that I have done it I’m very happy with this product. It’s easy to flush debris out of the sink anywhere, you can rinse your mouth without wet hands or cups, and many other uses. Definitely recommend it. Young kids may destroy it though, it’s not made for rough handling since you have a lot of leverage when forcing it. It has spray mode and bubble mode. The instructions are sufficient and there is a template to measure your faucet. It was no trouble to install it but if your existing aerator does not come off, and you force it it may be a 400$ plumber bill, or a day of crawling around under your vanity, and repeated trips to Home Depot for tools and supplies.

    Worked like a champ. Easy to install and dial in without a youtube video even lol.Saw another reviewer mentioning the flapper didn’t fit because he bought a 3” and needed a 2” but didn’t know where to measure. Well, logic would dictate it being the hole it’s plugging, right? Perhaps? Just maybe? Just lift the flapper, eyeball the opening it was plugging. If it’s the size of an Oreo, you got a 2”. A baseball, you got a 3”. If your toilet was made after 2000, it could be a 3”. But before 2000, more than likely a 2”. If you’re uncertain, they make versions of this item without the flapper and you can purchase that part separately or as needed. As for measuring it? Use the ruler app on your phone to estimate without sticking a tape measure in your refill container. (Wink).That said, the flush is much stronger now, there were no leaking after install. The build quality seems fine, and these are inexpensive enough to not expect decades of use. My only complaint is the plastic or rubber tube to connect the water was a bit shorter than my previous one and interfered with the flush lever, so I had to use my previous one which was fine. I mentioned that specifically because some users described having to cut the included tube to make it shorter. In my case the reverse was true and mine was too short. Pause.All in all, a simple, inexpensive fix and I think I’ll replace the others in my house as well so they can race to see which lasts longest. Lol.10/10 would recommend.
  • Easy fix. Adjustable valve does leak a little
    I’ve had a toilet in the guest bathroom that has had issues with the old fill valve since I moved in 5 years ago and I finally got around to realizing what a cheap and easy fix it was to just put a new valve in myself. I also changed my old rigid supply line to a braided line, got this installed and adjusted easily. Only complaint is the little dial that controls the bowl water tube drips a little when refilling, and at certain adjustment levels it sprays tiny stream of water up out of the top of it, thought I do appreciate the ability to adjust it I’m not sure if it’s supposed to leak at that valve or not, though it luckily doesn’t cause an issue.

    The product works great it has a Turning switch to adjust the water level coming into the tank and when is turned all the way up the tank fills up super fast. The only problem with it is I bought one for 2 inch flapper and I needed a 3 inch flapper so I had to buy a new replacement blabber separately other than that I would recommend.

    Man, do I feel like a big dummy! Why haven’t I been enjoying using a Waste Maid garbage disposer instead of the crap made by ISE all these years? I installed this Waste Maid today and I couldn’t be happier. Like going from a beat up, rusted Cavalier to a brand new Cadillac. It is that much better!For the last 25 or more years I have been fooled into thinking I needed a garbage disposal from ISE. I guess because they spend so much money on advertising and they are the ones you see in the display at Lowes. It is the brand my parents used. However, in 25 years, it seems like their quality has done nothing but go downhill and all I have done is replace them over and over and over. As I write this, I just replaced my last ISE Badger 5 with this Waste Maid.It seems silly that I could be this excited about a garbage disposal but listen… After 25 years of using ISE brand disposals every single day, this really is like moving from a rusted, beat up Cavalier to a brand new Cadillac. It really is that different. Like, it’s hard to explain how different these two models are.For starters, the size will shock you. My old ISE Badger 5 was big under the sink. It was wide, it hung low and it was HEAVY. Now, it had some metal, but only where the heavy induction motor was located. The grinding chamber was plastic. This Waste Maid uses a polymer body everywhere. And, because it uses a permanent magnet motor, it is small and lightweight.You might think it would be less powerful, but the opposite is true. The induction motor used by ISE is big, heavy noisy and SLOW. The permanent magnet motor used in this is a modern motor. It is small, lightweight, quiet and FAST. So quiet in fact, I had to peek in to make sure it was running. And this is for the base model disposer without the sound insulation. I cannot believe how much quieter it is than my old ISE. If you think you need that big old heavy induction motor like ISE uses, you don’t. Permanent magnet motors are used in things like Tesla car motors and small, powerful motors like the starter motor in your car.This motor runs so fast too (about twice the speed of the ISE) that food is pulverized almost instantly.Also, notice in the picture I posted a few things I circled. In my former ISE Badger 5, the turntable was flat, aside from the two impellers. So, as it turned more slowly compared to this high-speed Waste Maid, you really had to rely on centrifugal force to throw the food against the grinding ring and the impellers. More often than not, if I put in half a potato, half an orange or something like that, it would just run around in circles. I’d have to shut it off then back on or add something else to get it to grind.Now, when you look at what Waste Maid did, they have added a couple “knives” on their turntable, as well as some distinct bumps. Today I tested this new model. I threw in a half a potato and it was pulverized instantly. Again, I had to check to make sure it was running and not jammed because I could not hear it. The “knife” helps to make rough cuts of the food you are dropping in and the bumps make the food unstable on the turntable so it is tossed around and against the impellers and grinding ring. The knife below ensures that anything that could slip by like onion skin or other items below the turntable continue to get cut up and flushed down the drain.Waste Maid really did think of everything too. The rubber splash guard on ISE disposers is permanently attached to the disposer. That means trapped food can stink and smell and it is almost impossible to clean. Accidently cut it with a knife or damage it and you are out of luck. Waste Maid, on the other hand, uses a REMOVABLE splash guard.If it gets dirty you can wash it or throw it in the dishwasher. Such a small thing that makes a HUGE difference in quality of life and satisfaction. Like, why didn’t everyone think of that? Because of it’s shape too, more of the disposal opening is closed so it makes the running unit even quieter and nothing splashes back, like it can on the ISE with their wide opening.Lastly, and saving the best for last, I told you I did not previously own a Waste Maid. I owned an ISE Badger 5. It used their 3-bolt mounting system with the “twist-to-lock” feature that makes replacing ISE with more ISE units easy. However, this Waste Maid USES THE SAME “twist-to-lock” ring and feature. Even better, the output tube is in the same position and distance as my Badger 5.What does this mean? It means I removed my old ISE Badger 5 and replaced it with this new Waste Maid, IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES UNDER THE SINK! No lie! Less than 10 minutes! Everything lined up perfectly. I literally twisted the collar on this new one to my old ISE mount, hooked up my dishwasher hose, tighten the plumbing connection on the waste tube, plugged it in, and I was done.The fact that Waste Maid has enabled direct replacement of an ISE unit without having to mess with the sink flange, change your plumbing, etc. is worth the cost.I know this review was long but listen… I have become so frustrated with the crap put out by ISE anymore that I was willing to take a chance on another brand. When I discovered the features that Waste Maid had and found out it was a direct replacement for an ISE unit AT LESS THAN HALF THE COST, I was sold.I’m really glad I made this choice. I can’t believe how quick and fast it is getting rid of food compared to my old ISE units. I’ll never go back to them. I am a Waste Maid customer from now on.

    This seems to be POWERFUL and QUIET… Easy to install.. I had to cut away part of the plastic housing in order to fit the drain pipe.. Check my pictures… If anyone from the manufacturer see this… You should maybe check and see if anyone else had this problem… I do highly recommend this garbage disposal.. It works really well..
  • 1.25hp disposal
    Purchased the 1.25hp model to replace a broken 10 year old 0.5hp disposal. It came with some damage, a small crack to the outside plastic shell, but it was just cosmetic. Annoying nonetheless. it seems these days a lot of products have horrible packaging and bad quality control, companies don’t care so more and more products come with issues. There was top and bottom foam, but no side protection in the box so it probably got crushed. Installation was moderately difficult for me. I’m 64 and have a few disabilities, but I was still able to get most of it done myself, and only needed a little assistance at the end lifting it into place under the sink and locking it in. It runs well, it’s does have an audible loud click when first turned on caused by free spinning blades snapping from the centrifugal force, it’s not a problem but can sound a bit off. It’s runs fairly quietly for its size, and so far functions without issue. I gave it 4/5 for moderate installation difficulties for me, the blade click on start, and the small crack in the plastic shell. I don’t recommend products or goods, I’m no expert. I feel people can make their own decisions. But that said, so far I am satisfied with the purchase other then the cosmetic damage.

    I’ve had this disposal for a couple of months now. Easy to install and very quiet when in use. You can tell that it was made with durable materials. As of now there have been no leaks and it keeps getting the job done. The only issue I have is with the rubber stopper. The way it’s made makes drainage slow.

    Did exactly what I needed it to do! My pool water was just too bad. I shocked it several times took the water store and just could not get it right so decided to empty it since I hadn’t refilled the water for three years figured it was time. This pump worked great for my 12,000 gallon pool. Took all night and one full day. I started with a garden hose and pressure was low but then my husband connected a standard hose and the water came out twice as fast!Regardless of how long the cord is you need an extension cord so the previous comment giving them 4 stars is Bull! The product is effective and works as advertised. Some people are just not prepared. A cord any longer would make it harder to store it. Imagine how much space a 25ft cord takes? lol sorry that comment bothered me

    This pump worked great. I have a 23,000 gallon pool we are taking out and it did the job in less than 17 hrs. Price was fair and the pump worked with a Superior flat hose and its connection. I gave this pump 4 stars for one reason. The power cord is TOO SHORT! Ten foot cord is not long enough for a inground pool. If your promoting for use on inground pools the power cord should be 25 feet. See photo. I attached a pull string or you can use a rope to the power cord and tied it off so the extension plug could not hit the water. This was a safety issue because I was not looking to get BBQed. If you buy this pump which worked great be prepared to tie off a safety string and then you adjust the string tension as you lower the pump deeper in the pool. And shut off the pump when your adjusting it to go deeper to the center just in case it slips before you tie off the power cord. Don’t mess with the electric. Also I used a superior flat hose from Amazon. The superior connectors worked side ways and not up. but they did fit. Also order the 100ft flat hose if you get one. The 25 foot just barely made it to the fence. Pending your yard and where your letting the water run will determine which size. I DO NOT recommend you use a garden hose because your probably looking at 2 1/2 days or more to drain pending your pool size. Just remember to tie off the power cord to protect yourself and from shorting out. see the photos. Otherwise this was a great pump and strong.

    Strong pump, it easily pumps up an dover an 11 foot tall wall. Excellent support. My first pump worked great, but failed and Aquastrong promptly replied to my inquiry. They asked for a video demonstrating its failure and the next day replied with the option for full refund or replacement. I Asked for a replacement, which I received 2 days later and it works great. The pump comes with plumbers tape and adapters for most hoses you may connect. It automatically stops/starts but there is no start/stop nor on/off button.

    Absolutely Love this pump! I have a pond with a small waterfall. Works GREAT in it! Wish I had one years ago! The fountain is not only beautiful but the sound is just Lovely, so calming. Adds oxygen to the water. The filters grab all that muck from the water and are easy to clean. And then the light inside helps control the algae.I bought a second unit for a large pot that I have.Unit just snaps together,easy to use, easy to clean,comes together just have to connect the fountain, comes with 2 different sprayer patterns.

    I purchased the pump to drain my hot tub. I put some rubber “feet” on it so the hard plastic case wouldn’t scratch the bottom of my fiberglass tub. I cut some small pieces of small rubber hose (automotive vacuum hose) and then slit it lengthwise and slipped it over the feet on the case. It worked great! Pump is quiet and pulled the water level down to about a 1/4″. I’m very happy with this pump.
