Great, clean ingredients. It’s incredibly hard to find a D3 without soy and silicon dioxide (I’ve looked many places), but they did it! High dose, but in-expensive. I wasn’t sure if it worked since my PCP was concerned w/me taking a high dose: a mental therapist prescribed 10,000IU PER DAY for depression, but my PCP wanted me to take maximum 5,000IU PER WEEK. I took the lower dose and nothing much noticeable happened. Eventually, I worked up to 10,000 daily (since even 5,000 daily didn’t have a noticeable effect) and I discovered my horrible intrusive thoughts went away. Also, and as a bonus, I discovered it has been helping with menstrual pain issues (this discovery happens when I am not taking the pills regularly and then suddenly find myself in major pain). Additionally, overtime, I noticed it has affected my circadian rhythm: as it gets darker outside, I can feel myself wind down and simply want to get ready for bed. This has been increasingly leading me to setting boundaries with people (a work in progress given our culture, but I’m increasingly more stearn and cranky about it now).That said, this is not a cure-all for me since I have many issues going on and there are many elements involved in reaching and maintaining good health (though I suppose maybe I need more D3?). I do treat this like medication, though, since the longer I go without taking it as prescribed, the worse my mental and physical issues get.NOTE: My doctors have tested me 2x since I’ve been taking the higher dosage of D3. So far, even at the dose I’m taking, I’m comfortably within normal D3 levels–no remote risk of overdose. The photo in my bedroom was taken yesterday, and I styled my hair the exact same way with the same products, you can even see the broken section that was right next to my eye in the train pic that has now grown out past my cheek. My hair is thicker, smoother, and you cant see it from the photo, but my pony tail is thicker, and my hair hasn’t gone through a shed or falling out period since I started taking it. That hasn’t happened since I was 19 and I’m 35 now.I can’t speak for everyone, but this works for me and I have a serious autoimmune illness that is working against it. I would recommend waiting to judge it because hair and nail cells are rapidly dividing cells that take at least 4-6 weeks to go from birth to death (i.e. they take a while to input new nutrients and output them at new growth time). You need to give it time, take two scoops a day, and get through the period where you break out a bit as your skin adjusts to the new product and increase in collagen.I can’t really see a difference in lines since my face naturally doesn’t line easily, but it certainly isn’t making it any worse!I can also say that my knees and joints are affected by Lupus and are degenerating as I age, and the collagen has helped with creakiness and pain. I can tell a difference if I stop taking it for sure.It tastes like nothing, dissolves well and can be mixed in cold or hot. I use it in my tea and there is no difference in taste or texture.This is a great product, worth the money, and you will see a difference if you keep with it. So I wanted to wait a while to write a review, this way I could speak about this products benefits.I’ve been using this product for 3 months now – I started with the smaller sized container to get a good test run first. I do a lot of research on the products I put into my body, and this company checked out okay with what I had originially read. So quality, check.My first opinion with this product was the taste – when added to tea, if taken as suggested (2 scoops) you can definitely tell there is a taste. It is a mild taste, but a taste nonetheless. But it dissolved right into the hot liquid without any problems, did not change the color of the tea at all.So I decided to change my doseage – I put 1 scoop into coffee (no taste/no color change as I drink my coffee black) and then 1 scoop at night when I drink my post-workout (from another company). No further taste issues.What changes have I experienced:My hair is definitely growing quicker than before, but not incredibly speedy – so don’t set yourself up for that expectation. I received an email from Sports Research asking if this product met my expectations. My answer is.. not even close!! I started taking this about 3 months ago. I was having some skin trouble and after some research found that collagen might help so I went searching for something and came across this product on Amazon. I really dislike these powder supplements and only chose this one after reading a review from someone who mentioned she put it in her morning coffee and I thought “I can do that!”. Worst case scenario would be it wouldn’t help with the skin issue but I would have great hair and nails, no harm no foul. What I completely ignored were all the reviews about the joints. I have had osteoarthritis since I was 16 and have tried every product known to man and nothing ever helped. At 32 my orthopedic surgeon was going to replace both my knees and I not so politely declined. I am 47 now and for almost 2 decades I have been taking 800 – 8000 mgs of ibuprofen daily just to be able to move.Less than 2 weeks after I started taking this once a day in my morning coffee (thank you fellow reviewer!) I realized I hadn’t taken a single ibuprofen in over a week. I hadn’t been able to bend my knees past a 90 degree angle for I couldn’t even tell you how long and now they move and work like normal knees with not even the slightest discomfort. I’ve been using collagen peptides for 7 months, and this product for 3 of those months. Before i get into my review, here’s some backstory so you know where I’m coming from. I’m a 45 year old male, 6ft, 205 lbs. I never drink, smoke, or take any drugs or pharma, and avoid artificial preservatives in my diet. I love to lift weights (6 hours per week, mix of light and heavy), and do 1 to 2 hours of cardio and yoga per week. I don’t go hard on cardio or stretching, just what’s needed to keep my heart and mobility healthy. I also get outside and hike for about an hour a day. I’m fortunate to have a job that involves talking by phone and have close access to a gym and trails, which is what makes all this possible. I limit my sitting time to no more than 5 hours per day. This is because 6 or more hours of sitting per day is shown to damage testosterone and vascular health in men.I started out with two mild problems: recurring inflammation and slow recovery in my right patellar tendon (the big one that goes over the knee), and above-optimal systolic blood pressure (around 135 to 145, while 110 to 120 would be better).I started taking collagen to improve recovery in my knee, and reduce the number of breaks I had to take from lifting. I tried several different ways of mixing it, including mixing with water, juice, and ice cream. This, and the other products I tried, mixed just fine. Ultimately I started mixing it into the oily fish I’ve been every morning for breakfast. It dissolves easily in just an ounce or two of room temperature water. The consistency goes from straight liquid water to a gel, about the consistency of hand sanitizer. This is true of every collagen product I tried.I noticed after about a month of taking collagen that my knee and elbow joints recover faster from heavy lifting sessions. Instead of needing 3 to 5 days for full joint recovery, I only need 2 to 3. I also noticed that the usual slight tendon soreness I had after a yoga session would be gone in a couple hours instead of lasting the rest of the day. As a result I can do more and harder workouts. I had previously gotten my blood pressure down from the upper 140s to upper 130s. Since making collagen part of my daily routine It’s come down another 10 points, into the 125 to 130 range. It could also be the added omega-3s from the fish, or effects from cutting out artificial preservatives. At this point of time I’m on my 4th container of the vanilla collagen powder and still on my 1st of the chocolate collagen powder and they’re absolutely fantastic in terms of ingredients, taste, and general valueI personally prefer the taste of the vanilla powder significantly more even as a chocolate lover (and the vanilla has 10 less calories per scoop if you care), but do note in the picture I’ve attached that the chocolate version is actually bigger than the vanilla for some reason (by several ounces) so the chocolate will technically be the better bang for your buckIn terms of benefits and how well it works; I started taking this to help support my joints since I lift and it seems to help with my recovery (I usually have a scoop of the vanilla with my coffee in the morning and a scoop of the chocolate powder with my whey protein). As a guy I have no clue if it’s helping my skin or hair, but for the women I will say it’s made my nails ridiculously strong. I’ve always had healthy nails but they’re absurdly strong now, the pics I included are after growing them out for exactly one month and averaging about 1.4 scoops of collagen powder a day (I have also been using this for about half a year now too).It doesn’t have added sugar or dairy which makes it a healthy alternative to creamers and as someone lactose intolerant it won’t mess with your stomach at all. Technically if you want the most collagen per dollar spent (outside of getting it from eating foods that contain it) there are collagen supplements pills but I really enjoy the powder for my coffee and protein shakes and prefer them over supplements I’ve triedOverall 10/10, I’ve bought at least 5 containers now and even started trying their microgreens powder which was a smidge pricey but is also a 10/10 product

I am satisfied with collagen options available from Amazon. I could not accomplish this another way. I tried adding plain collagen to my diet but did not enjoy planning portions. I needed something high quality, economical, tasty, and convenient. To get a consistent amount of daily collagen, I started using a very tasty but expensive coffee collagen additive. I liked it but decided $8 an ounce was too high a cost. Their small scoop did not provide enough grams of collagen. Adding more made my coffee too sweet and increased the cost. I decided to make my own recipe. I ordered Vital Proteins Chocolate and Vanilla collagens. Also ordered 5 lbs. of unflavored Fernes. All high quality at a lower cost per ounce. I mix plain, chocolate and vanilla together and add a dash of cinnamon per portion. Adding plain collagen makes the portion less sweet. Adjust proportions to your taste. Mine is about equal portions of all three collagens (not including cinnamon). Once I got the combination to my liking, I made a batch of pre mix to avoid multiple containers. I froth the half and half and pour in a mug. Then froth about 30g of pre mix collagen with hot coffee. Warmed cream and collagen coffee mix seamlessly. I add a little Manuka honey to mask the taste of the artificial sweetener in the collagen. The result is a barista like cup of coffee with $3 an ounce collagen that tastes exactly like the more expensive brand. I lost a little weight by replacing white sugar with artificially sweetened collagen. Honey is better for the glycemic index. I found an easy and tasty way to incorporate collagen in my diet at lower cost.

I wish this wasnt limited edition. If I had the money to stock up on this I would. After all consistency is key with it. I put it in my coffee instead of normal Carmel and it tasted pretty good. I like that its more collagen per scope then the normal unfavorable one is. I hate vanilla so I really really hope they make this a permanent flavor and if so every month I would be a casual buyer. Besides flavor I wanted it for all the health benefits but if your reading this you dont need me to tell you what all that is. Its good for you period.

It is beyond delicious! 4 tablespoons in a blender that can crush ice,1 cup of ice and 1 glass of almond milk. I have a ninja blender with an ice crush cycle. It stops when its appropriately crushed, giving that famous frozen hot chocolate from Serendipity that is so darn delicious! My Dr told me to try it as I am having bad side effects from Mounjaro for diabetes. I was stick thin to begin with, but lost15 pounds in 2 months and now size 0 clothes are too big for me. I only weighed 115 at 5″4″ before starting mounjaro!! My hair has been shedding, which is freaking me out and its a side effect of rapid weight-loss which I did NOT need to even lose! My A1c was the problem and it has dropped to prediabetic level from 8.8, so the Mounjaro does work well to lower A1c but my Dr said I needed collagen to build back muscle and get more protein. He did recommend this brand and flavor, and I am so glad I tried it. Its DELICIOUS- LIKE A MAJOR TREAT! Hopefully it will counter affect the side effects of the Mounjaro but if not, it sure is delicious, healty and satisfies sweets cravings! It builds muscle and is good for hair, skin and nails, as well!

I bought the unflavored, which dissolves easily into my coffee in the morning. I just put it in the bottom of the mug, and then pour in the beverage. I started taking it shortly before I broke my right wrist and my left elbow. I continued taking the collagen at a slightly increased rate (three scoops instead of one or two), and in a few weeks the doctor was amazed at the amount of healing in my injured arms. Also, my nails are now super strong. They have to get fairly long before they start breaking or chipping. Very happy with the product.
