Michael S.The creme of the crop of dash cams, baby!This item is the Cadillac of dash cams. I came across one that was heavily discounted during prime day for a hundred bucks, and after much research I pulled the trigger and glad I did. Its a very premium product. It comes tightly wrapped in plastic inside a well designed box that reminded me of a case the best Cuban cigars would come in. When you flip open the lid, everything is laid out perfectly and includes every little thing you need to properly install the cameras. It took me roughly 20 minutes to get everything set up, Including the app. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand-no broken English like other inferior cameras. The set up guide is over 50 pages and is incredibly detailed and well put together. For turning on and setting up the device for the first time the guide is laid out step by step in order even the order of menu settings are the same in the guide. The camera produces a excellent image quality, and I was surprised to find that it is capable of embedding your speed and GPS coordinates into the video itself and also displays on thr screen as your driving. Lets see what else-oh, the syncing to my phone was seamless-it connects via wifi which was unique in its own way and works very well. You can view the camera live on your phone screen when connected to wifi and you can easily download files from the camera to your phone over the app. I also love the rear facing camera, and its really useful as you can use it as a digital rearview mirror as your driving which i found pretty neat and useful. you’re looking for a affordable high quality device id highly recommend this product!

De HaanNice Camera, Excellent Value, Great Reliability- Included Cable Slightly Too Short for MeI had a little bit of a problem as I needed a slightly longer USB-A to USB-C cord that’s included with this Rove camera, so I bought a USB-A to USB-A extension cord. Unfortunately, that didn’t end up working and after a lot of troubleshooting, the unit would not stay powered with the extension cable being used. It was getting power, but wouldn’t turn the Rove unit on when the car started. After weeks of troubleshooting, I purchased a new USB-C to USB-C cord which ended up working. This unit is nice and reliable, easy to set up, and I like the addition of the rear camera which was pretty easy to install. Overall, this took me about 30-60 minutes to pull off interior body trim, but with plenty of storage, the app also uses Wifi, its pretty easy to use and the camera angle is very wide and perfect! I would reccomend this unit for its front AND rear camera, but if you need a longer cord, go with a USB-C to USB-C cord to avoid the mistake I made!

Initial set up was very easy and the video quality is excellent. Well worth the purchase, I am very happy with my purchase. I had a problem logging into the iPhone app. I texted customer service on a Sunday afternoon and received a reply from Alcris ( a customer service rep ) in less than ten minutes. Fifteen minutes later, problem solved. Good customer service is hard to find these days, this was GREAT customer service.

H.L.Solid Quality. All Items Included For All Setup Variations.First thing that struck me was the quality of the packaging, not to outshine the content. The front camera body feels solid. Connections to power and rear camera are well located. Lengths of wires was more than enough for connecting the front and rear cams.Opted for the suction cup for the front. It is easily re-attachable.Caution: if you attach the rear cam to the glass on an SUV or a hatchback, or any hatch that swings upward, make sure you give it enough wire to account for the hatch’s movement. I opted for a simpler mount: right on the non-moving plastic part on the inside behind the glass. The included adhesive patch seems to hold well.Both cams are pivot-able to maximize the important field of vision.Thorough instructions for all mounting options. Good quality booklet to boot.The user interface menu is quite intuitive. Although the booklet covers all, I did not need to go past few pages. Simple, and very well thought out product end to end.This product has the right balance of features and thoughtful design.
