  • Great looper pedal
Fantastic Looper for the Price!I’ve been using the Donner Looper Pedal for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed. It offers 90 minutes of total recording time across three tracks, which makes it super easy to layer different parts and experiment creatively. The sound quality is clean with no noticeable loss or noise, and the unlimited overdubs plus undo/redo options make recording mistakes no big deal. Switching between tracks is seamless, and it feels sturdy and well-built for something at this price point.Whether you’re a beginner practicing timing or a performer building full live loops, this pedal delivers way more than you’d expect. Highly recommend it!
  • A fantastic surprise
I took a chance on this because I have had good luck with Donner products in the past. I have owned other noise suppressors including Boss and the fabled (and very expensive) Decimator G string let me just say that this is hands-down the best one I’ve ever owned. It absolutely eliminates the noise and has no noticeable effect on your tone. It does the job and it takes up minimal space on your pedal board. I still can’t believe it was so inexpensive. What can I say? Highly recommended. Very highly.
  • Exactly what I was hoping for at a price point that didn’t break the bank!
This sturdy little pedal came in a nice magnetically closable box with a quick but useful owner’s guide and a couple cute Donner stickers (I believe all Rock ‘n Roll goodies should come with a cool sticker! ;-).I play mostly hard rock and metal (a lot of that drop tuned D, Db, C and B). I was tired of getting almost instant feedback (in my setting – a small 12×14 room with a 40watt all tube Marshall DSL40). I don’t like using the amp in Triode mode (reducing and cutting the output power in half). Needless to say, there was a lot of unwanted noise (and feedback) coming out constantly and almost instantly. Most of my ‘effects’ pedal plug straight into the front of the amp (first – last: Tremonti Dying Machine Way, Joyo Compressor, Tube Screamer Mini, and a Fulltone OCD distortion). I’ve patched this Donner Noise Killer along with my EarthQuacker Dispatch Master Delay/Reverb and volume attenuator pedals through the back FX Loop of the amp to get the most noise reduction without affecting the tone or the effects of the other pedals (besides which, this is a True Bypass pedal). As mentioned above, I use a JHS Little Black Amp Box ‘Passive amp Attenuator’ to cut back the overall volume output of the Marshall amp so I can turn up the Volumes to get into the sweet-spot of the amp itself without blowing my head or the roof off! Combined with the Donner Noise Killer pedal, these work perfectly to manage volumes and unwanted noises! The pedal has both a potentiometer Dial (ranges between -60 and +10db) and a Loud / Soft switch. I find it’s happy place is switched into Soft mode (which Donner recommends for most playing styles in the leaflet/manual) and the Dial set just a tad below -40db. I had to play with this a bit to find the sweet spot where I still get sweet sustain and I’m able to kill the unwanted noises. As Donner designed, it’s easy to adjust and I was jamming within a couple of minutes. There’s just a little “pop” when stomping the the ON/OFF button that is audible through the amp. It’s not terrible however. Besides, it on all the time now anyway. Not a concern…The difference in my setup/setting is like night and day concerning the ambient noise that’s “killed” as well as the amount of feedback I cut out with this little guy! With it turned off, there’s a definite buzzing noise coming out of the the amp. With it on, it’s completely gone! With this on and set as described above, the amount of unwanted feedback is pretty much cut out while playing as well. Now there’s plenty of time to palm-mute and turn down the guitar volume between songs. There maybe a better Noise Killer on the market. You might have a buy a few to find it. You’ll probably be paying 3x the price as well and it’ll be, more than likely, more cumbersome to dial it in.What’s left to say? I’m satisfied with this well built Donner Noise Killer.Buy it! I bet it works for you they way it working for me.
  • Performs as expected and budget friendly
Performs as expected and budget friendly. Sure, there are other products that have more options for greater expression, but this meets my needs perfectly with its compact size, range of settings and thus far its reliability.
  • It just works.
Bought this to give it a try. I have to say I’m actually impressed with this pedal. I’m one of those who buys more expensive models but again decided to try it. It works as it should with no issues and tames the noise from my rats and and my fuzzface. I have a boss noise suppressor on my large board but didn’t need that for my small board. I would recommend it for an inexpensive option that gets the job done and done well!

  • Classic sound that never fails
The Boss DS-1 is a timeless distortion pedal that delivers every time. It’s super easy to use, built like a tank, and gives that perfect crunchy tone for rock, metal, or punk. The tone control is very responsive, and it sounds great with any amp. For the price, this pedal is unbeatable — a must-have for every guitarist!
  • Perfect
PERFECTThis is the perfect distortion pedal at the most perfect price. Looks great, sounds great, settings are accurate, top tier in quality.
  • Great price and fantastic sound effects.
Great pedal for that classic rock sound.
  • Perfect product, wrong description
This is the classic distortion pedal. Anyone playing anything but jazz or unplugged styles will want this. Works beautifully. Cheap and effective. HOWEVER, the product description on the Amazon.com product page at the time I purchased this item was incorrect and provided specs for something else. Funny. It should be noted that a quick skim of the description (if you are not paying close attention) may lead you to believe this item includes an A/C adapter–it does NOT. I ordered it thinking this was the case and I was annoyed when it did not include one. I contacted the seller and they initially refused to send me an adapter. I put up a fuss however, and insisted they do so, as the description of the product I ordered indicated an A/C adapter was included. They eventually caved and shipped it to me, but they were not happy about it. Nor should they be–I think this is Amazon’s fault. They need to correct the description. At the time I published this, the description for the BOSS DS-1 distortion pedal (http://www.amazon.com/BOSS-DS-1-Boss-Distortion-Pedal/dp/B0002CZV82)reads as follows:—Product DescriptionThe classic DS-1 Distortion pedal provides a harder distortion effect for guitar and keyboard sounds. • GREAT
    Great time, sound, and grit
  • It Rocks!
Boss effect pedals are simply the best in terms of engineering and build quality. I have a fairly large collection of effect pedals, and at least half of them are overdrive or distortion. This one is REALLY good.A couple of considerations if you buy this one:This one is a different breed of cat. It has digital circuitry that gives it some special qualities:1. Take the time to experiment with adjustments. It’s different. It’s very bright, and has very high gain, so the best sounds won’t look like settings on a typical distortion like a DS-1.2. Playing a Stratocaster, I’m getting the best sounds as follows:Gain: 10:00-12:00 (maybe lower with Humbuckers)Low: ~2:00 (boosted)High: ~9:30 (reduced)3. This pedal has very high gain; If I get past 2:00, I hear a lot of digital noise. Gain of 10:00 – 12:00 is great. I get a few feedback squeals at this level.Hope this helps The results you get with all gain type effects (overdrive and distortion) will depend entirely on your guitar and amp. The DS-1X has the tones – just be patient and dial them in 🙂
  • Excellent

  • An Incredible Pedal!
I wanted a ‘Fuzz-Box” When i was young I bought a Univox “Super Fuzz” not knowing it was the preferred EFX pedal to most major Rock guitarists. I’ve watch videos of The Who on stage and I can see Townshend has the pedal no ton the floor, but up high and easy to adjust. I bought it because I could get the sounds of Black Sabbath with it and it worked great on my Bass. It could growl or it could buzz and do anything inbetween. I sold my pedal two years ago and got $550.00 for it. I think I paid $45 back in 1976So there I was regretting not having that pedal and finding out that nothing else sounded like it no matter how much the listing said it did. I bought an expensive unit to a friend as a gift and it claimed to be identical to the Super Fuzz and to even have more tonel adjustments. It didn’t sound anything like the Univox. Now keep in mind I am talking about a “Fuzz” and not distortion or overdrive. Those EFX sound different than a Fuzz Box. Two weeks ago I cam across this on Amazon and after thinking about it bought something else that was actually a little bit more money. I never buy the cheapest product even when broke. Somehow it never arrived and Amazon sent me a refund very promptly. Then I went back to this one. I switched over to “Dogpile” my search engine and read about the pedal and listened to several videos of people demonstrating it. So I went back to Amazon and bought it for a very low price. – Thank you Amazon. It arrived the next day – thank you Amazon Prime – and after popping in a battery I tried it out. I have a new Les Paul copy I am about to upgrade so I plugged it in and played. I messed with the settings a lot and it sounded like crap. Then I turned the last knob almost all the way to the left and it sounded great! From there I tuned the over knobs to get a sound I loved. I ran it through a compressor and delay and this thing blew my freakin’ mind. It was every adjective I can think of in a superlative vein. It was fantastic, magnificent, awesome, incredible and on and on. I couldn’t put the guitar down. I was amazed to know that what I was hearing from my amp/cabinet was me. I sounded as if I could play. I was playing runs from Deep Purple and I sounded like the records. I was playing Who and Zeppelin, I suck at Page so i went back to Deep Purple and even played some Humble Pie. The sounds were all there! All of my favorite British guitarists were inside my amplifier. Then I began to play “Good bye to Jane” and discovered how much fun it is to blaze through my favorite Slade songs. I can’t remember having so much fun. It sounds sweet when playing light solos or leads without changing settings, I simply changed how i played the notes and the box did the rest. Some boxes have one sound and you get it louder or softer but you still get the same sound. Not with this little purple wonder. The variations in tone are never ending between changing the pedal settings and changing the pick up positions and tone knobs on the guitar. In fact I think they ought to sell this pedal with every LP copy and they’d never have a complaint. It is nice that this pedal is so inexpensive. It appears to me made well. The off gives a completely quiet pedal by-pass. I believe it could take some rough handling at practice or packing up after a gig. The tag on it says “British” and it certainly earns the right to than name. It enabled me to sound just like all my favorite 60-s to 70’s British rock guitarists.I can’t recommend this pedal enough if that is the sound you want. maybe in 40 years people will be paying absurd amounts to buy one of these original pedals. You never can tell.
  • Joyo British Sound
Great pedal, for the money (I paid $39 on Amazon), to get a nice “Marshall” crunch/gain. I play hard rock in a band and hard rock is the reason I actually play guitar. I wanted a small form-factor pedal as backup to my current “direct” rig; a Nux Cerberus.I really like the sound I have dialed-in on the Cerberus and believe I can also achieve a similar sound with the Joyo British Sound pedal (without effects, though). I’ve compared recordings of both and they are really close tone-wise….close enough, for the money, for me to have a decent backup or a portable “Marshall”.Apparently, you can dial in various Marshall-type tones; I really only like the one, medium to heavy gain for rhythm and leads. I would’ve sent it back if it did not sound good enough; it sounds great. I’ve been playing for over 40 years and know what tone I like. The knobs feel sturdy, though they are plastic. The chassis is metal and very sturdy feeling.I have not/would not use a battery with it, so I can’t speak to battery life; just my preference to use the proper power supply (9v) as I’ve always done with pedals. Having said that, there’s no power supply with the version of the pedal I bought, but you can get a “bundle” with a power supply (so I’ve seen). It’s a good sized pedal. It’s slightly bigger than a normal Boss or TC Electronic “non-mini” pedal. I really like all of the various knobs for tone shaping, so I’m assuming that’s why the size is slightly bigger, etc.The cool thing which really sold me (outside of the price) was this pedal, like the rest of this series of pedals (AC Tone, American Sound, etc.) has a built-in cabinet simulator. Since my current rig is “direct” that makes it an easy set up to just plug this pedal “direct” into a DI and I can immediately start playing. It’s easy to keep in my gig-bag and I could totally see it being put on a separate board at some point for simplicity’s sake. I could easily record with it too; just go direct into the DAW/Interface and it sounds great.

  • Great amp for the price
Let me start by saying I just needed a small, light weight practice amp and this one fit the bill for the price. I have been playing bass for about 58 years and have a large rig 210-115 GK set up but didn’t want to break that out every time I wanted to play on the porch, office or a buddy’s house. The little Fender Rumble 25 is super light and the right size to move around. After unpacking the amp I noticed the workmanship was first rate so I plugged it in and hooked up a bass. Sounded OK but not what I expected. Pulled the removable grill off and noticed a very cheap speaker and a 3″ port in the front that wasn’t tuned, but for 99$ what the heck. Played some more and It just sounded cheap which it is. I wasn’t expecting GK or SVT sound. I immediately went to ebay and bought a Celestion NEO 8″ driver with a 2″ voice coil for 55$ and it arrived today. I took the grill off and removed the Fender speaker and noticed how cheap is was and noticed too that the cabinet was hollow, no damping material so the insides of and old fiber filed pillow was sacrificed and the cabinet stuffed, also I cut a piece of round hard foam to fill the port. Put it all back together and now we have an amp. Real nice lows and great tone all through the different ranges. That did the trick.I know what you’re thinking, this guy bought a 99$ amp and spent 55$ more to make it work when he could have just bought the 40 with the 10″ speaker, but I would have had the same, but larger, cheap speaker for 199$. This now sounds great with a modest upgrade and the Celestion NEO is a MUCH better speaker that makes a small amp sound really good. 160$ total, light weight, nice controls, and that great Fender styling.Sorry I’m a purist and keep can’t leave well enough alone and this was a small price to pay for a now great sounding amp, and by the way the pillow is pleased it went to good use. I gave it five stars for 99$ but now it’s 6 stars.
  • Rumble 25 Does The Job For Me
In this article from the New Yorker, January 28, 2013 “Music To Your Ears.” Daniel Levitin (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Levitin) “pointed out that most of the lowest notes on most pianos are actually inferred rather than heard. The soundboard on most pianos isn’t long enough to produce the bottom octave, but the brain hears the right overtones, which the piano can produce, and neurons in the brain begin to fire at the frequency of the missing bass note.”In days of yore (1950s – 1960s) this psycho-acoustic quirk was used in the design of “hi-fi” consoles to produce a semblance of deep bass without actually having an extended low frequency response. And so it is with the Rumble 25. I measured the response of this combo as shown in the graph. The red curve is with all controls set to 12 o’clock. The blue curve shows it can actually produce a reasonably flat response from 90 Hz to 2.5 kHz, +/-3 dB with the controls set as follows: Bass @ 12 o’clock, Mid @ 9 o’clock, High @ fully ccw. This means that it can only reproduce the 2nd harmonic of the lower bass octave (40 Hz to 80 Hz). Because of the normal 18 dB/octave roll-off for a vented enclosure, the 10 dB down point is about 70 Hz. As to the 2.5 kHz frequency, note that the 12th harmonic of a high A (220 Hz) on a bass is 2.64 kHz. The driver is low compliance and the box appears tuned to about 100 Hz, both of which are consistent with the measurements. These curves are smoothed with a 1/3 octave cepstral algorithm to remove insignificant non-audible variations in the measurements. There is a large resonant peak just over 3 kHz = 1/2 the driver diameter. This is tamed pretty well with the High control fully ccw, but still sits almost 7 dB above the average level. Given that the paper cone is quite stiff with no attempt in its design to damp sound waves travelling through the cone material, this resonant peak is not at all surprising. This peak corresponds to the 16th harmonic of the 220 Hz high A on the bass. This peak is probably a good “feature” for the attacks of slap bass (which I don’t do). Otherwise it is actually of little consequence. All this said, the Rumble 25 works well for me. It was low cost, is small, lightweight, and, in spite of lacking any usable output much below 100 Hz, it nonetheless “sounds” like a decent bass loudspeaker. With the controls set as noted for the flattest response, it works well for both my electric and acoustic basses, both of which sound best through a flat response system. The former is an all-original, ’63 Fender Jazz and the latter uses an NS Design “Copperhead” pick-up, a prototype kindly given to me by Ned as a present for mentoring one of his sons on bass. For acoustic gigs, even those using a PA for rooms sized for around 75 -100 audience, the Rumble 25 does the job in terms of sound quality and loudness. For larger rooms and louder gigs that’s why I have my “big” rig. This is custom set-up with a ruler flat response from 40 Hz to 2.5 kHz. However, It consists of a separate EQ, amplifier, and loudspeaker = much more to set up, is five times heavier, and it cost over 20 times more than the Rumble 25. That is what prompted me to try the Rumble 25 for smaller gigs. For what it’s worth I play most all genres of music from classical to rock. One feature I like is Fender’s built-in, non-adjustable, “Delta-Comp” limiter. This seems to work really well, holding things in check when the amplifier is over driven a bit. Push it hard over the limit point and some high frequency artifacts do appear. However, when running the amplifier near its limits it is virtually unnoticeable except for subtlly limiting the loudness. In spite of its measured performance, I’m giving the Rumble 25 five stars because its doing just what I need it to do.
  • Very impressive!
I have owned a lot of high end amps and cabinets and this inexpensive combo sounds so good I think it might be my favorite. Plenty of volume and punch and the tone is perfect with very little knob-turning. My only complaints are the lack of mute switch and the bright and contour voicings are pretty terrible to my ears. The overdrive channel is ok but I would prefer to get rid of all of the voicing buttons and give me a mute switch instead. Overall though, I love this combo and I would definitely recommend it.

  • Pedal is crazy good
Price….10/10Function 10/10Durability 8/10 (plastic but durable)Preset effects 10/10 (and can easily tweak and customize each more)Drum loops 7/10 (can tweak bmn)Tuner 10/10 (by clicking both bottombuttons)This thing is easy to use and amazing when paired with a great guitar ive had it for 6 months and it never fails me in any way
  • Amazing versatility that is easily good enough for the price
This multi-effects pedal is very versatile with an amazing number of effects and features. It certainly doesn’t have the quality of construction and sound that the high priced multi-effects pedals do, but it is amazing for the price and easily good enough for learning, practice, and even amateur level gigs. For people who make their living playing guitar, this is not up to the task of most performances. This goes well with a small, inexpensive practice amp and that seems to be its niche. But inexpensive guitars, amps, and effects pedals get used by most electric guitarists on some occasions regardless of their skill levels. It’s why the Taylor GS Mini has been their biggest seller, even with professional guitarists. Big bang for the buck. This is a great buy!
  • Does a LOT for what it costs, but not pro-level equipment
This thing is far from professional quality but if you are one of those people who just hacks around and plays for their own enjoyment, it’s a fun toy with lots of functionality. Especially if you manage to catch it selling for a LOT less than the regular price. The main advantage of this gadget is a does a LOT. Aside from all the different guitar sounds, which are infintely customizable, it’s also a drum machine (40 patterns), metronome, 3-minute looper with infinite overdub, wah pedal, volume pedal and electronic tuner. You could easily spend more than $100 just on a simple looper so this is quite a bargain given all that it does.As with most multi-effects guitar pedals at this price point, most of the pre-set sound effects (80 in this case) are pretty worthless. Goofy distortion combos that no guitarist has ever used in my experience. Some just don’t sound that great. But there are a few good ones in there and you can create your own if you have the patience. The interface can be quite challenging because there are so many options and only a few buttons or switches to control them. It is difficult to keep track of everything when programming new sounds. As others have mentioned, there are massive volume differences depending on which pre-set sound effects are selected be prepared to balace those out with guitar or amp volume controls. It would have been nice if Mooer had spent a bit more time getting volume levels more uniform.Overall sound quality is OK but not great — a bit harsh and raspy sometimes. Not very clean or tight. Professionals would find lacking I think, but fine for just fooling around. About what you would expect from a device that costs so little. So if you want to have some fun, experiement with different sounds, see what a wah pedal can really do, create your own backing tracks, this is a great little device. It gets the job done, at the hobbyist level anyone, and does not cost a lot.
  • Large screen helps you select from a variety of outstanding sounds.
The main reason I chose the GE100 over other comparable pedals was the large screen. I don’t like to squint at small screens. The price of $67 made it an excellent value. As with most multi-effect pedals, some of the pre-sets were over the top. If you take some time to tweak the pre-sets,. you should be able to get the sounds that you want.So far, I’ve used it for practice. It’s fun to try out the various sounds. The learning curve is reasonable. The main box is made of metal, while the expression pedal is made of plastic. It does not have a port for connection to a computer, but this is not a big deal to me.The 180-second looper is a nice tool to have. There also are some music references such as chords and scales.
  • Great quality for the price! Highly recommended for budget musicians!
This lil pedal is actually quite amazing for the price and quality! It’s super easy to use, has a plethora of effects and they sound decent! The volume control pedal works well and is responsive. I’m not sure how long batteries last in this product, as I bought a power supply and that works great! I’ve tried playing this pedal through an amp and headphones and both sound awesome! I mainly got this pedal for the loop function and it works very well. Overall, I am happy with this product. I was considering trying out their table top processor in the near future. Highly recommended for musicians on a budget looking for something cool!
  • MOOCR GE 100 foot pedal
This is a looper pedal that I can understand and work with and it has many other functions so I would say yes buy it for this price. It’s worth it….(now it’s a few weeks later.) I’m adding to this review that this pedal is easier than I thought to use and I’ve gone through many looper petals this one’s great.

  • Great tuner
Accurate. What else is there to say? It’s BOSS so the quality of the pedal is gonna be great. Couldn’t recommend enough.
  • Good pedal
I like this pedal, makes life a lot more easier/reliable to see intonation and tuning. Thank you Boss.
  • Works great, but….
First of all, consider how you want to power it before purchasing. It comes with a 9 volt battery which they say is not for heavy duty use and therefor not made to last long. One reviewer said it eats batteries.Within 2 weeks of light usage the battery died unexpectedly when I went to use it.I considered getting replacement batteries but decided to purchase the Boss power adapter and not have to worry about the battery dying.Secondly, I was playing a gig immediately after tuning my electric bass. One of the band members told me my E string sounded out of tune. I showed him with the tuner that it showed it was in tune.At home I decided to compare the tuning using the pedal tuner with my tuning app.I discovered the tuning was the same, EXCEPT the tuning app registered my E string as a half step different than the pedal tuner. I trust the tuner app and also checked the tuning manually to confirm.A Google search found other musicians having the same issues with the pedal tuner. The solution I discovered was to do a reset of the pedal tuner which resolved the issue, but I will be checking the tuning periodically against other methods to confirm it is working properly.I played upright bass for 30 years before electronic tuning was popular. I had to tune by ear.My advice is to use the electronic tuners but also learn to listen for accuracy of pitches and trust your gut if something doesn’t sound right.

  • Great mini amp
Powerful amp with a great sound that is big enough to carry quite far. Would perform well in a big room.HzS
  • Winner!!
This review may be premature. I opened up the box and didn’t even charge the amp. I just plugged it into my guitar and started playing, so I don’t know how long it will last on a charge. But as for the sound, I was immediately hooked. It gives you just enough volume to play an intimate living room concert without blowing everybody away. Imagine electric guitar sound qualities with acoustic volume. This gadget has three sound levels – clean, kind of grungy, and super grungy. It’s great for practicing. Not having to slog any amps or hook up any cords is a plus. Given the size and convenience, the sound is incredible. And since it’s small enough to fit inside your case with the guitar, if you have multiple guitars, at this price it’s worth it to buy more than one. Part 2 : One problem with the mini amp – eventually, it will need to be recharged. I got about an hour’s play out of mine before the red light started blinking. It recharges pretty quickly but at this price why wait? Buy two. Trust me, it’s worth it.Update: I went to bed and forgot to turn the mini amp off. 9 hours later I noticed the lights are still on. I picked up the guitar and just started playing! Winner!
  • Excellent for the price!
The Lekato mini electric guitar amp is really nice to have for practicing when you don’t have time to get out all your gear and hook it all up. It is surprisingly loud for a small speaker and can fill a room easily. There are 3 sounds: clean, overdrive and distortion. The press and hold Reverb effect for each of the 3 sounds makes a noticeable difference., too. I recommend this if you’re looking for something to practice with on the go, or needing a quick guitar fix!
  • Overall good
For the money you pay this is pretty good. It’s small and can’t compete with a bigger amp but it does the job of being very portable and able to carry it just about anywhere. The sound is ok for fooling around. It does what I thought it would.
  • It Fits A Squier Stratocaster
It works really well with a Strat because of the angle of the input jack but will work well with any electric guitar. It has decent enough tone for heavy music . It’s plenty loud for me . It has built delay that can be turned off. It’s well worth the money . I haven’t used the Bluetooth function because I would rather have music coming from another source to play along with .
  • Ok for the price
Has a tinney sound. OK for practice so you don’t have to plug in your amp. Wouldn’t want to perform with it. Not too bad for the price. It kinda falls under you get what you pay for
  • Perfect for practices in small spaces.
I was surprised by the quality and volume of this amp, considering the small size and low price. Super functional and convenient.
  • Definitely worth the money and it sounds pretty good too.
Great little speaker I use it for tuning my electric guitar my bass and my electric 12 string. not super loud, loud enough, great price I have three different plugins on my instruments it fits all of them comfortably. No buzz I like that and no crackle of the speakers it’s a good little speaker.

  • Great great great!
    Great product!!Awesome
  • Great Build Quality and Value
Fender product is great. The Amp works well for a beginner and the build quality is very good. I recommend.
  • No reverb but great practice amp.
Very simple amp. I think I should have spent a few bucks more to get reverb. Other than that it sounds great. Just be aware that the over drive has a separate volume control which is normal. Output is about 6 or so watts RMS but perfect as a practice amp. I’m happy for the money.

What Customers Say:

  • Does exactly what it says for $30! No more no less.
I just got it an hour ago, and right out of the box I plugged it into my Ibanez 6 string. and it works beautifully. The sound is wonderful (For what it is) If you compare this to a more expensive amp you are cheating yourself out of a good product, because you will think it is not as good. For $30 this is a great travel/practice amp. You can get great clean/overdrive/crunchy tone out of it. It connects with my phone and I was able to play some backing tracks on Spotify from my phone to jam to.I personally love it! Will it replace my main amp? NO! But it is not supposed to, this can be bought for pennies and works straight out of the box with no setup. This is great for your 8 year old’s first practice amp. Even at full volume, while the sound was clear and nice to me, my wife was able to watch television in the next room, without problem. You can use it while charging, so during long jam/practice sessions, when the battery eventually dies. You can just plug it in and continue playing. I have not had it long enough to comment on the battery life, but every other aspect of it I love so far, and I give it that 5 star rating honestly. My two criticisms are small ones. First of all, it rolls around in the output port of the guitar, as you move or shift its weight, it does not stay still. I worry about breaking it on something as it sticks out from the guitar very far. But even still it is only $30 to replace it if it does. It would be nice to have a mounting bracket (Sell it separately to not increase the price of the unit) But a simple 3d printed bracket to clip it to the body of the guitar better would be something I would buy.The additional 6.5mm adapter that came with it makes no sense, and I am not sure what it is for, and it is not mentioned in the owners manual at all. I thought it would attach to give some more space between the unit and the guitar if you wanted that. But it does not.The unit also comes with Bluetooth functionality, very cool as I said you can plug it into the guitar, connect it to your phone, and then play music or a backing track from your phone to play guitar along to. Or if you just want a small portable speaker to play music from your phone with, it will do that. The owners manual, shows you just propping the amp up on the connection adapter, like a kick-stand. However Guitar people will not want to do that as it can damage that adapter and cause an unwanted buzz or other unwanted sounds. So you could 3d print a small plastic cover to clip onto it, so when you use it as a kick-stand the metal of the adapter is protected from scratches.Do those things and I would give it 10 stars. I would buy three or four more of them to keep in various places like my gig bag, or my friends house where I jam and practice a lot. This is a good product, that is worth the 5 stars and the $30 already. Those two additions would make it way better.
  • Update on this little speaker.
This little amp, at first I hated it. Because it didn’t sound like my big cab. But then I took it on vacation with me and realized what it’s supposed to be for. I am happy to say I am very happy with this. I get to jam anywhere in the house, a park, on vacation. It’s not going to sound like your cab, but it sounds great. One last thing, the sound does change due to the pickups on your guitar, so if you have a hot pickups guitar versus a vintage low output, you will notice the difference on the output. The Bluetooth works great with backing tracks from YouTube or wherever good sound quality. I still recommend this.
  • Sounds great. No tuner. Easy plug and play.
This little amp is really easy to plug and play. Love the Bluetooth on there and it is loud enough for practice. I give it 4 stars only because I wish it had a built in tuner. They could have easily implemented that since it has 2 LEDs and top can be sharp and bottom could be flat and both green would be spot on. I hope Joyo reads this for their mark II.
  • As expected and good sound quality!
When I tested it out on my electric guitar and electric bass, the volume was good, especially for the size. The effects are pretty easy to understand and switch between too. I like the distortion a lot too. It was pretty easy to connect my phone with it as well, and I’m able to practice and play along with sounds in real time by ear.
  • It’s ok, but a few odd decisions
For $24, you can’t expect too much. The sound works, It’s portable, and has a rechargeable battery. The sound is ok. It lacks low end and distorts easily when overdriven, but again, it’s $24. The clean+reverb and overdrive+reverb really aren’t bad, but the distortion setting is ugly. The reverb really helps out the first two sounds. But does this work for noodling around on the couch with out dealing with wires, or maybe even playing along with another quiet instrument like a digital piano? Yes, and it’s worth it.However, there are real issues if you’re fine with a lackluster sound. Something unavoidable is if you turn the speaker towards you, it’s then playing straight into the pickups. This causes tons of feedback on the distortion setting and makes it near unplayable. If you’re a metal head wanting to dirty tones, this isn’t for you.The other issues are just poor design decisions that wouldn’t impact price. First, as another reviewer pointed out, the fit in a strat style guitar is bad. I have a G&L Comanche with a strat like body, and the plug just barely fits in the front facing jack on the guitar. They could have extended the jack just a few mm and it would have been so much better. I took away a star for thatMy biggest issue is that when the amp is turned on and NOT connected to blutooth, the blue LED blinks. Why??? It’s so annoying. I’m trying to play and there’s this small blinking light in the corner of my eye. It’s distracting and such a stupid design. The blinking supposedly stops if you connect it to a blutooth device, but I don’t want to do that. I just want to plug it into the guitar and play and not have to connect anything else, but now there’s a blinking light. Can they update the firmware with this somehow???I was about to send it back but then I covered the LED with electrical tape. It’s mostly hidden the blinking, but I know it’s there.Ultimately I’ll keep this thing because it’s cheap and I’ll actually use it. It even sounds pretty good with my Fender Acoustasonic! Yes, a $24 amp plug sounds good with a $2000 guitar. But why does the LED need to blink at all??? just change the color when connected to blutooth instead.
  • Good little amp
The sound on this small amp is decent enough for practicing solo. It’s often a struggle to run a cable and turn on and adjust a full-sized amp, so having something small and portable that sounds decent is great. It’s rechargeable so I don’t need to get batteries, and the toggle between different modes means I don’t have to fiddle around with different knobs to get the right sound. Overall a nice little gadget for an electric guitar.
