This is a fun cd, love it!

This vinyl is absolutely beautiful—the color is gorgeous, and it plays flawlessly on my record player. Sabrina has been one of my favorite artists for over a decade, and Short n’ Sweet does not disappoint.The album is filled with amazing lyrics that are so relatable, making it easy to connect with every song. I’ve had it on repeat for days, and I can’t get enough! If you’re a fan of her work, this is a must-have for your collection. Highly recommend!

Excellent CD music

Okay, first of all, this color is not like the mockup at all. HOWEVER, once I looked past that, I realized that this is one of the best looking Coke Bottle Clear pressings I’ve ever seen.If you’re looking for a blue pressing of this album, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a beautiful Coke Bottle Clear pressing, then definitely get this.

I’ve never quite gotten the whole Radiohead hype. I always felt they were a solid band when then veered off into electro-land five years after everyone else did but that they had a sense of melody and arrangement that saved them from being trite.But kudos to Radiohead for their ‘pay what you please’ arrangement with this album. I certainly wouldn’t have paid any mind to the fact they had a new album out but if you could download for free, well why not! Surprise! RH have created an incredibly mature, progressive, and listenable album.Most of what has made this a heavy-rotation disc (yes I bought the CD eventually) has to do with their keen sense of arrangement and production. From updated DNB sounds on the first track to taught rockers the band knows how to capture your attention, hold it, then change direction right before you get bored. There’s plenty of ear candy thanks to their extensive synth collection and producer Nigel Godrich and I have to give credit – it doesn’t get stale or gimmicky on repeated listens. But their well-honed sense of melody married to seemingly oblique vocal lines and lyrics is probbaly the clincher.Vocalists get heaps (too much?) praise but in case of Yorke, he really gives a great band depth and dimension. I really love the tension between longing and alienation that permeates virtually every track. Even in the seductive “House of Cards” there is a sense of cherishing the relationship in all it’s impermanent beauty. We feel like voyeurs, compelled to watch the drama from start to finish.I went back and checked out other RH albums and in context this makes sense. Moving out of the electro-experimentation of KidA/Amnesiac to the more straight-ahead Hail to the Thief, this album pulls together the exploration of earlier works into a cohesive whole with nothing to prove, save creating another great albums.

Nice music

Not sure why others have complained about sound quality; it sounds pristine on my setup, which is a Technics SL-100C turntable with a Ortofon Quintet Blue MC cartridge. Connected to a Schiit Skoll preamp. Sounds clean. As far as volume, it might be a tad low compared to other albums but the difference is barely noticeable. The record has a slight warp, but again is negligible; no different from records I’ve bought at the local shop or online from Discogs. It arrived in a massively oversized box with no damage. If you want some Bob Marley in your collection but don’t want his entire discography, this is a great album to own. I’d recommend it.

One of the best albums ever

If you collect vinyl, you know the quality of the print is just as important as the quality of the music. This is one of the best in my collection!

Marley was a unique talent, introducing the world at large to the Jamaican sound but redefining it to such an extent that the label “Reggae” was used to associate Bob Marley and his style of Jamaican influenced music to the very word. This collection of Marley hits spans the gamut of his success and creativity and shows us the mindset of the man, who believed in peaceful co-existence for all, and most poignantly that individual rights as defined by the political structure must be understood by each person and that it is our responsibility to “stand up” for our rights, not roll over and let ourselves be taken advantage by greedy and power-hungry types that abound in our midst. A man of significant political influence, he is respected by a great many people who see him as a leader of men, a teacher to those who pay attention to his advice through the lyrics of his songs. Dying too young from health issues, his life had meaning and success and has become “iconic”, earning respect and admiration by millions.

Amazing album!! So many pretty photos, posters, and PC’s. This is honestly one of the best quality k-pop albums I’ve ever purchased!

So I’m sure this review will get lost in the jumble of reviews, both positive and negative im sure, how could this not be mixed? But I’ve spent quite a bit of time with this now, so while late, I’ve listened to it more than a few times.So first impressions were that this was too candy coated musically but dark in an understandable way lyrically. The ‘beats’ that we have seen prior are back in full form. The music is ‘less heavy’ in general compared to eden. The oddity of it is that while in general this may seem a softer album, when they go heavy on it, it is skull crushing.So here is my general impression. It radiates the tension, that dark mysterious sound sleep token created with eden…mostly. The softer side of the album sets the mood and the tension for when it goes all out metal core, but this is sprinkled in very sparingly.The melodies are catchy…very catchy but even though this is less metal, the music has substance, nuances…and the climaxes completely knock it out of the park.The dark mysterious sound i spoke of worked its way through the entire eden album…they don’t quite hit that here. I think it gets lost a bit in provider and damocles. Both songs are excellent, don’t me wrong, but they are a bit ‘outside the flow’ if you will. That sound begins to resurface at the beginning of Gethsemane and is back in full force by the end, and continues into the heaviest riff sleep token have ever produced in infinite baths.End game is, I have listened to this over and over, and my big concern was whether it would hold up in the long run as their other albums have…it does. If you want a gage on the ‘heaviness factor’, to me it is close in general to this place will become your tomb, but also showcases some of the most bone crushing riffs in their career. Sometimes one must be patient and you will be rewarded!!

My friend is a big fan of sleep token and I wanted to see what the big deal was… I don’t really get it but I like the melody of the songs and the mythology of the band, would definitely recommend if your looking for something new.

If you are new to Sleep Token, start with their earlier works as this album is the continuation of those. They bend genre’s as a matter of fact. Does take a minute to re-calibrate the wetware to start to get a grip on it. Add in the lyrics and call backs to not only the songs in this album but also to previous tracks released and if you know, you know. All I can say is Worship.

I’ve been playing this on repeat over and over since it was released Thursday night. This album is all good. Not a bad song on the thing. My favorites are Look to Windward, Emergence, Past Self, Caramel, and Gethsemane. This album is so interesting to hear with the musical breakdowns and change ups. Different styles; hip hop, rap, jazz, electric, pop, metal it’s got it all. Every musician is fantastic and they do the deity known as Sleep a reverential ritual every song. This feels like a very emotionally revealing album for the band and it works brilliantly. I bought the CD form which is great except I wish the lyrics were posted but they are not. Very bare bones slip with band name and record label. This goes with the Sleep Token aesthetic or lore so I get it. Just something I like to have to learn the lyrics of songs. Anyway, fantastic album. Like the title says, just buy it!

Absolutely beautiful music and album. Her voice is gorgeous and it sounds so crisp and clear on record. The physical record itself is a lovely blue, and it comes packaged with a whimsical board game. An album you will want to play repeatedly and regularly.

Absolutely delectable, BUT why would you not make it clear to set the speed at 45? Only reason I’m rating at a 4; it was frustrating though (I even started to change the weight guage, but my partner stopped me.)
