This is a two CD disc with a short biography of the band. There are 36 of their best songs. A few a live versions, but all of them have great sound quality. This is a wonderful CD and the price is great for what you get.

Usually I do a 5 star rating on products: The main issues I have are with the company that made the CDs and the way the CDs were packed. Instead of keeping the CDs apart from each other in separate sleeves or another different way; they were stored on top of each other in the middle section of the case and a clear plastic separator with 4 round circles (2 1/4 inches) was used and because of this the two CDs were touching (inside the round circles) on the backsides of each other (3/4 inches of the circle was left open from the edge of the CDs). The middle piece to keep the CDs in place were tight and getting the CDs took a bit more time to remove and because the CDs touched each other within the opened circles the CDs had to be separated from each other VERY CAREFULLY. As far as the CDs themselves, they are in DECENT to GOOD condition. Numerous songs (total of 6) – out of the 36 had some issues with temporary blackout -BUT- after stopping and replaying those songs (some songs once and others numerous times), the songs played without issues.As far as FLEETWOOD MAC, SONGS and MUSIC – I RATE THEM a 5.!! I first listened to FLEETWOOD MAC on the radio when they first started in 1967 and have ENJOYED their music ever since. Their music is soothing, comforting, and Sing-a-Long music.

According to the 125-page book in this excellent box set, Bob Dylan cut his first known record on Christmas eve 1956. That recording is included in this box set! To me, the title of that song (Let The Good Times Roll) would have been a better title for this entire set.Another great feature in the book is when a song is discussed the author includes in red ink the exact disc and track number. An example is Blowin In The Wind (Newport Folk Festival, 1963) is on disc 6, track 10. House Of The Rising Sun (NYC)- disc 5, track 18.The photos (over 100 are rare) included in the book are also excellent.And the most important part of the box set is 139 tracks (59 have never before been released).So, Let The Good Times Roll!

I’ve collected early Dylan material from bootleg vinyl to torrent downloads over the years. While this collection is far from complete, it includes some material I did not have and in many instances better quality than what I did have. I was hoping Sony would release the entire Freewheelin’ outtakes, which I have most (or all) electronically, however this set is still a worthwhile addition for those who appreciate the energy, talent and innovation that young Bob Dylan displayed. The collection also provides a summary of his evolution from a unique song interpreter to a stylistic song creator.

To be honest I haven’t listened to it at all. But as someone who buys the bootleg series often I am sure that part will be 5 stars as well. What really struck me initially is the design of the whole set. Really impressive and very fitting for the beginning of the story of an era and an artist. Well done. And the photos are amazing. Yes it’s expensive and some of the bootleg volumes are not as good as others but I am sure this will be at or near the top of the list.

Another exceptional collection from the Bob Dylan vault. If you are a Dylan fan you will already have ordered this set. This collection chronicles the genesis of Dylan that the world now knows back to a time where he was a complete unknown.

As a Dylan collector, I am glad to add this set of very early recordings. It’s great to hear him progress through the years and these old songs help me imagine the young Bob Dylan.

This is a wonderful collection and a great package. But the title of Through The Open Window is not a very good title. The original title of “The Villager”, named after the famous bootleg, was the obvious better choice.

After 40+ years, got to add a new copy to my collection!!! Buckingham Nicks is finally back on vinyl! This album is pure magic — Lindsey and Stevie at the very beginning, with harmonies and songwriting that still give me chills. The pressing sounds warm and alive, and hearing Crying in the Night and Frozen Love on vinyl again is unreal. An absolute must-have for any fan — so worth the wait! If you don’t have it add you must add it to your collection ????

I have an original pressing from the 70s. It’s in reasonable shape for its age. However, this pressing is superior. It has crisper highs and mids, as well as solid bass. Compared to some of the other remastered vinyl albums I’ve purchased in recent times, this one has cleaner grooves and less background noise. It’s an impressive remake and comes in a quality inner liner.The one flaw, and it’s a minor one, is the packaging. The graphics are excellent, as good or better than the original. However, the cover material is a lighter grade of cardboard than the original. It flops around easily and isn’t going to hold up as well over time.Still, great job by Rhino.

It is just amazing how much these songs reflect what would soon become Fleetwood Mac. This reissue is very well Mastered and the Pressing is top quality. The light blue vinyl adds a nice Aesthetic touch. The Gatefold Cover is also excellent quality.

An unparalleled masterpiece. If you like anything by Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks or Lindsey Buckingham, unless you bought this LP in 1973, you need to own this record, now. Two of the best-selling recording artists in the history of best-selling recording artists, and one of the best examples of how whack the recording industry has always been: that Polydor dropped (!) them after this superb record (not unlike Decca rejecting the Beatles) and that is took over half a century for an official reissue. So nice to hear without the wear and tear on the original vinyl, or any of the bootleg versions made from the same. I have always maintained that this record is at least as good as any of their Fleetwood Mac or solo output (and yes, that includes Rumors – no offense to the other three members who were/are just as superb). And Mick Fleetwood must have agreed all those years ago.

A record that failed to connect upon original release , now a resonant reminder of how perception is relative. A wonderful record that sounds like a time when life was very different and our pop music was an organic beauty without synthetic processing and auto tune . Fine singing , fine writing and fine musicianship showing the DNA of what would blossom a few years later in Fleetwood Mac. Those unmistakable Buckingham guitar figures , Stevie’s distinctive beauty of a voice and a who’s who of great studio players lending a hand. Also very well remastered by Chris Bellman.

Sounds as good today as the record did when it first came out. The music holds up, after all these years, and should be the first thing Fleetwood Mac fans would want to get – essentially, Stevie and Lindsey’s ticket to join the band, and take it with them to the top. You’ll note some recognizable names as the session players. But you won’t get any extra bonus tracks, here. No coffee warehouse tapes, LA shows, etc. Might have been a nice nod to us for waiting all these years to get this LP on CD.

I’ve always been a huge Fleetwood Mac fan, especially Lindsey Buckingham. His mastery of guitar (self-taught) is a thing to behold. His arrangements and production helped propel the band into superstardom, and his very public drama with ex-flame Stevie Nicks has provided the inspiration for some incredible music. Nicks writes ethereal lyrics and has a distinct voice and persona that are instantly recognizable.Here are Lindsey and Stevie, pre-FM, pre-breakup. It’s almost as if you can hear their love for each other. Their harmonies are gorgeous. Buckingham, as always, finger-picks his guitar to artistic perfection. “Stephanie,” an instrumental ode to Ms. Nicks, is mesmerizing. “Frozen Love” is a masterpiece and should have been a hit when it was first released. All of the songs are good and with the right support, Buckingham Nicks could (and should) have made it big. It’s an amazing peek into the history of two artists who have left an indelible mark on music.

Sounds fantastic! I had this in vinyl in 1974 and was never able to replace it when I switched to CDs. The music holds up after 50+ years. The remaster is superb!

From The Kingston Trio to Peter Paul & Mary; from The Beatles to The Beach Boys; from Bob Dylan to Leonard Cohen, etc…etc…AND AND AND I’ve got most of BOB DYLAN’s records which I love….some more than others…..BUT there’s something very special about EARLY BOB DYLAN. Sure, I’ve seen the movie “A Complete Unknown” focusing on Dylan’s early Columbia recordings: THE FREEWHEELIN’ BOB DYLAN (1962) + THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGIN’ (1963) – which are 2 of my Prized Possessions !!! The movie follows BOB DYLAN until he goes ELECTRIC at the Newport Folk Festival (1965). But getting back to EARLY BOB DYLAN….this Box Set (2 LPs or 8-CDs) is a MUST. If you ask me it’s BOB DYLAN at his all time best: Youthful (starting out at 19 in Greenwich Village)…..Bob singing with his guitar in hand and harmonica in mouth. Yes, and his unique “high voice” is so suited for his songs. This awesome Box Set includes EARLY BOB DYLAN singing at parties and coffee houses and even includes the elusive BOB DYLAN AT CARNEGIE HALL album (1963) which never got released in all its glory. Columbia Records TEASED US with partial “promo” CDs of this glorious concert….but we never got to hear BOB DYLAN’S entire “live” performance until NOW !!! Sure, BOB DYLAN recorded lots of fine albums for Columbia Records and Bob is the #1 BEST SONGWRITER IN AMERICA bar none. But nothing compares to the EARLY BOB DYLAN who was inspired by his then girlfriend SUZE ROTOLO (seen on LP cover THE FREEWHEELIN’ BOB DYLAN). I’m very surprised. I never bought a vinyl off of Amazon, but I’m surprised how high quality it is. It arrived in much better condition than some of the vinyls I’ve bought from official artist stores. Not only that but it arrived super fast. Good pick up here.

The vinyl arrived in perfect condition and sounds great. I love this album by twenty one pilots so I had to get it in vinyl. My setup has good bass so songs like “jumpsuit” sound great. But by far I think “my blood” sounds the best in this format. I will play this vinyl until it’s degraded and buy a new one.

I’ve been following twenty one pilots since February 2016, and I’ve seen the boys live in concert on their Bandito Tour for this album twice. This album is a masterpiece as vocalist Tyler Joseph continues to refine his style with a mixture of rap (Levitate), ukulele (Nico and the Niners), piano, synthesizers, and percussion/trumpet by his bandmate Josh Dun. The band took a one-year hiatus, gone from social media, to create this album and with it, a whole new world, of DEMA and Clancy and the bishops. Similar to what the band did on their album Blurryface, there are layers upon layers beyond the surface of the songs that add to an already impressive album (head onto Google). It’s really stunning, and each individual track has a distinctive and unique sound and story that contribute to the narrative Tyler’s created. Music by twenty one pilots is uplifting, energetic, hopeful, inspiring, beautiful, and ridiculously easy to tap your toe to. Should they come to your city, I would highly recommend seeing them live (they put on quite a show, and are so charismatic and down-to-earth that you feel like you’re at home amongst the other fans).My favorites off this album are Leave the City, The Hype, Chlorine, My Blood, Nico and the Niners… is it too late to say “every track?” The music is friendly for children, teenagers, and adults to listen to (no curse words or mature themes: quality music that deserves to be blasted from the rooftops).

A great beginning for Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks’ solo career. I first got this on vinyl in the early eighties but with this deluxe reissue on CD it’s even more enjoyable along with alternate versions of the featured songs from Stevie’s maiden voyage as well as outtakes and an entire disc of live material taken from the final night of a two-week tour which was the exact concert I witnessed on HBO while visiting my maternal grandparents in Union, NJ during my senior year of high school.To start with-The first disc is the main album itself. Even while Stevie Nicks was still in the Fleetwood Mac line-up, she kicked off her solo career into high gear with the help of producer Jimmy Iovine[Whom Stevie was involved with at the time and later the founder of Interscope Records]and other great musicians assembled under his direction. One of whom was E-Street Band keyboardist Roy Bittan(Iovine also engineered Bruce Springsteen’s albums by the way). Other keyboardists include Benmont Tench[of The Heartbreakers]; David Adelstein(who plays synthesizer on the title track);Bill Elliot(piano on the title track)and Billy Payne(piano on “Think About It”). Bassists include Bob Glaub; Duck Dunn(on “Stop Dragging My Heart Around”);Tom Moncrieff(on “Outside The Rain”)and Richard Bowden(on “The Highwayman”). Drummers include Russ Kunkel(who previously played with James Taylor and later engaged to Taylor’s ex-wife Carly Simon); Stan Lynch(on “Stop Dragging My Heart Around” and “Outside The Rain”)and Don Henley(on “The Highwayman”). Percussion is handled by Bobbye Hall[Who appeared on Bob Dylan’s Street Legal album and world tour in 1978] and Phil Jones(on “Stop Dragging My Heart Around” and “Outside The Rain”). Dan Dugmore adds some unique pedal steel guitar to “After The Glitter Fades”. My main favs here “Stop Dragging My Heart”, “Glitter”, “Edge Of Seventeen” and “Leather And Lace”[Stevie’s duet with Don Henley].Of the eleven tracks on Disc Two, six are alternate versions/or demos, three are unreleased songs[“Gold And Braid”, “If You Were My Love” and “The Dealer”] and two songs are soundtrack cuts-“Blue Lamp”(from Heavy Metal) and “Sleeping Angel”(from Fast Times At Ridgemont High).Finally, Disc Three is the audio version of the Fox Wilshire Theatre show in L.A. in full length-no less which previously aired on HBO and later released as In Concert on VHS and LaserDisc save for the songs “Angel”, “Leather And Lace”, “Bella Donna” and “How Still My Love”, which were previously unissued in viewing form. Personally I wished they released this show on DVD but I viewed it two months back on Youtube to refresh myself of what I saw back in “82. The musicians are mainly the same ones featured on Bella Donna here-Bittan, Wachtel, Tench, Glaub, Kunkel and Hall. Adding to the live line-up are vocalists Sharon Celani and Lori Perry[Now Stevie’s sister-in-law], who still sing with her to this day. She is introduced by her father Christopher Nicks, then kicks off with “Gold Dust Woman”[The first of four Fleetwood Mac songs in this set]. Stevie also covers Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers’ “I Need To Know” but despite the presence of Heartbreakers keyboardist Benmont Tench, Petty’s vocals are substituted by Waddy Wachtel. The same could be said likewise for the place of Don Henley’s vocals for “Leather And Lace”. Other Mac songs featured here are “Dreams” , “Sara” and “Rhiannon”[The closing song of this show]. Being that it was such a great concert, it would also be a rather sad ending to a short two-week tour since Stevie was still committed to Fleetwood Mac and would be very shortly due to rejoin them in France for the next venture-The Mirage album. You can definitely hear it in Stevie’s voice after concluding “Rhiannon”. I hear you, Stevie. I’d be crushed, too, after doing a short solo tour before going to my other band to work with them again. I’ve witnessed her both with Mac and solo[Where she toured with Don Henley] in ’04 and ’05, respectively with my girlfriend/bandmate Terri.Such a treasure to have this expanded version of Bella Donna. If you already have or had this album on vinyl, I wouldn’t hesitate to get this edition. Don’t delay!

Stevie is the Queen of Rock and she proved it with Bella Donna. The original album is remastered exquisitely! The bonus CD did not have the surprises that were provided on the Wild Heart bonus disc but still give us great sounding versions of some of the songs that were worked on during the Bella Donna sessions that hardcore fans were already familiar with. The stripped down Bella Donna piano demo must have been very well hidden because I had never heard any of her hardcore fans mention it before. Blue Lamp is a great song from the Bella Donna sessions but it did not really fit the album style very well and was given up to the Heavy Metal soundtrack early on (the soundtrack was comprised of mainly non “heavy metal” like songs). Sleeping Angel would have fit perfectly with the style concept of Bella Donna but given the space limitations of the LP, this song was also left off and given away to another movie soundtrack. This disc includes the released version and an alternate version as well. The Dealer, Gold and Braid and If You Were My Love were just a few of the many song gems that actually got worked on during the BD sessions. Not only did she have a huge back log of songs from even before joining Fleetwood Mac but by 1978, she had a good idea this solo album would one day happen and started cranking out song like crazy. Many of those piano demos made it through the studio door and on tape to some degree. So why did Stevie skimp on the bonus disc? Yes, the bonus disc is great but us fans know what’s out there and how much a CD nowadays can hold (close to 80 minutes worth of music). So why did Stevie gives us less than 50 minutes worth of bonus stuff when we know she could have easily filled up over 2 CDs of Bella Donna bonus material? There were finished or nearly finished takes of Gypsy (the song originally meant for Bella Donna but ended up on the FMac album Mirage), Julia, Starshine, 24 Karat Gold, Baby Doll, Belle Fleur, Love You Enough, Lady of the Mountains, All the Kings Horses and the list goes on. A disc could have easily just been dedicated to Stevie’s piano demos-those bare bone piano demos are just as moving if not at times more moving than the studio product.I know, I’m whining. I can’t expect Stevie to release a box set at the level of Fleetwood Macs Tusk but I can dream.Well since I’m whining, let me whine some more.Stevie’s short but legendary Bella Donna-White Winged Dove Tour is also included on this package. The tour was significantly edited down, cutting out nearly 50% of the concert when it was released later on in 1983 on VHS. A great audio of that concert was provided in this package release and it restored 5 extra tracks from the tour that were left off of the VHS. Two songs from this tour still remain officially unreleased – “Blue Lamp” and “Think About It”. We can only hope that maybe one day Ms. Nicks will decide to release the entire concert on DVD with a companion CD. But for the moment, thanks Stevie.

Really nice album. Probably my top three favorite albums of all time. The record is in perfect condition. No jumps or scratches or warps.

Sounds very good, great separation, For some reason though , Atlantic has issues with warped LPS, 180 gram, 50 gram, 10 gram, whatever, it doesn’t matter,l if the LP is warped. It needs to be flat to play correctly, and track best. I see a lot of new, and old Atlantic LPS, that are warped , to various degrees ( eg..AC DC “HIghway to Hell” pressings ) So if you can get one that is not warped, its a good deal.

Great CD for AC/DC fans

This one often gets underrated, but I don’t really understand why. It has some harder, grittier vibes with some ZZ Top thrown in. This is great bar material for its fans, and there aren’t too many subpar songs on it.Obviously, Thunderstruck and Moneytalks are gigantic anthems, that still are as good as the day they were cooked up, but Razors also includes Are You Ready, Shot of Love, Fire Your Guns, and others that perfectly encapsulate the mood here. It’s definitely a lot of boozey, hard luck lyrics mixed with absolutely great riffs and consistent melodies. Nothing lacks on this album, and it’s a pretty easy listen all the way through. A few songs won’t appeal to everyone, but there is hardly anything seriously lacking here, so it’s up there with their best albums for me. The last hurray before the decline in other words.The remastering is on point with great dynamics and EQ to my ears. The digipacks are pretty decent with an included booklet and good art. Solid stuff.

If you are an ACDC fan might want to pick this up. For me I enjoyed this album i remember when it came out and watching the Money Talks Video then ACDC Live came out from this tour. I think the record sounds just fine and it’s on 180g which I like unless I’m dying to find a 1st pressing of something. i think on here is the best price for it too. Pretty Sure

AC/DC The Razor’s Edge album rocks.

A strong album, featuring some of the best material from the Brian Johnson era of AC/DC, The Razors Edge gets off to a strong start, with the well known crowd pleaser “Thunderstruck,” which also had the privilege of opening 1992’s Live. “Fire Your Guns” follows, and is really some of the better “filler” in recent memory, which a lot of attitude and power behind the music. “Moneytalks” concludes a great trio of tracks to start the album, with some killer, bluesy guitar work courtesy of the brothers Young.Title track “The Razors Edge” is a gritty, dark piece, very different from most of what AC/DC has done on past albums, and is a welcome addition that helps to shake things up from the typical Acca Dacca formula. A number of solid, hard rockin’ tracks follow, giving the album a solid middle, though not so chock full of classics as 1980’s Back in Black.Not their best, but very solid!

This is a great album all the way, though I do not regard it as highly as the Phil Rudd albums, which is just 1 opinion. If it weren’t for amazon’s generous return policy, which benefits vinyl buyers a whole lot, I prob. would never have had this wonderful album. The first copy was flawed right away with skips and cracks and it repeated words like 10 times before moving on. I returned it for refund and after a week or two, decided to try again. The second copy had a scratch deep and noticeable and really was awful to try to listen to it with a bunch of skips right in the first song, and this was right out of the package and noticed right away on first inspection. So, I had no choice but to return this one too and I don’t like having to do that, but I asked them to send another copy (3rd try). On the third copy, I noticed it was flawless and after it played all the way through without any problem whatsoever, I rejoiced. Thank You, Amazon for making it right with this album. I love this album and now it’s even better and more personal on vinyl!

For those Fleetwood Mac lovers who can really get into the progression of, not only the band itself, but also the work of the artists who joined the band in later stages. Whether it be getting into Christine Perfect’s pre Mac solo work, or this pre Mac album of songs by these 2 other latter day Mac members, during the 1973-1974 period.

The music holds up, after all these years, and should be the first thing Fleetwood Mac fans would want to get – essentially, Stevie and Lindsey’s ticket to join the band, and take it with them to the top. You’ll note some recognizable names as the session players. But you won’t get any extra bonus tracks, here. No coffee warehouse tapes, LA shows, etc. Might have been a nice nod to us for waiting all these years to get this LP on CD.

I have an original pressing from the 70s. It’s in reasonable shape for its age. However, this pressing is superior. It has crisper highs and mids, as well as solid bass. Compared to some of the other remastered vinyl albums I’ve purchased in recent times, this one has cleaner grooves and less background noise. It’s an impressive remake and comes in a quality inner liner.The one flaw, and it’s a minor one, is the packaging. The graphics are excellent, as good or better than the original. However, the cover material is a lighter grade of cardboard than the original. It flops around easily and isn’t going to hold up as well over time.Still, great job by Rhino.

It was a long time coming to digital (officially) and this reissue of the album that convinced Mick Fleetwood to offer Buckingham and Nicks to join Fleetwood Mac sounds exceptional. Both the vinyl and the CD sound terrific. Sadly, there are no bonus tracks or outtakes (unlike the digital versions floating out there unofficially).It’s clear what both brought to the band. They were the magic sauce with Christine McVie that created a terrific rock band. The material is strong, too though they hadn’t developed the strength that would be on display (yet) on the white album (“Fleetwood Mac”) and “Rumours”.The expanded version of the vinyl includes the single mixes of the 45 from the time on an additional 45 and a small booklet with information on the album. The CD comes in a gatefold sleeve with just the credits but replicates the artwork of the original album.This is an essential addition to any FM fan’s collection.

I have been waiting for years on this to be re-issued and am very happy with the remaster. I have had the pleasure of listening to the original release and I feel this one is much better.

from the 1st song to the last, a classic sound with undeniable harmonies throughout. Mick Fleetwood knew what he heard that day in the studio and gave Lindsay a call to join Fleetwood Mac! The rest, as they say, is history!

Nice to have an official release of this album. Nicks and Buckingham had an intensity and it is so captured on this release. It is the fire that lit Fleetwood Mac into orbit. And Fleetwood Mac fan will enjoy this first ever release for Nicks and Buckingham.
