I was in the market for a new electric tea kettle and was tired of the cheap Walmart products we typically buy in my household. I researched several products and settled on this one. It is attractive on the kitchen counter, heats water fast, is well constructed, and is easy to refill. All of these attributes add up to a quality product. I can heat my water in just a couple of minutes, the blue LED lights make for an attractive tea kettle, and the pase is usable in any position. The base is round so I can put the kettle back onto its base quickly and know that it will be ready for the next use.The glass is easily cleaned and it comes with maintenance instructions on how to use and clean it, so I anticipate many years of dependable service from this product. This is my first kettle. It boils so fast and looks pretty on the counter. Definitely stays hot/warm for a number of hours after boiling. Love that it auto shuts off when it reaches boiling, and even though there are no presets for different temperature settings, you can easily turn it off when you think it’s hot enough. The handle is ergonomic and doesn’t get hot at all.Great for pre-boiling water for stove items.

Heats up water very fast and is easy to use, very handy to have. My only issue is because it is made of glass, it does not keep the water hot for very long after it is done heating it up. Maybe an insulated pitcher would be better.

I drink tea every evening and this is a really easy way to do it. Although I love to hear the whistles of a traditional pot, I also love how quickly I can get instant boiling water. The kettle itself is sturdy and of great quality. It has an auto shut off once it reaches a boiling point. I love the led blue light indicator. This Chefman electric kettle has been great so far. It heats up water really quickly, and the glass body makes it easy to see when it’s boiling. I also like that the lid comes off completely and it makes cleaning a lot less annoying. The auto shut-off works every time, so I don’t have to worry about it running dry. Replaced my Ovente that decided not to turn on one day. I love the simplicity of this kettle, love that you can see the water level and love the speed at which it heats water to boiling. A generous 1.7L, a sleek stainless steel look, and fast boiling (I always fill it to capacity, but it is still quick). If you don’t want a lot of bells and whistles (it does have auto shut off) – this is a good kettle at a good price.

My first kettle purchase! Recently started drinking morning & evening tea and was getting tired of boiling the water on the stove each time. This kettle works quickly to boil water, love the alert beeps, and the visible water level. Straight forward to use and appreciate the auto shutoff. The stainless steel looks great and there is no added flavor to the water at all.

i deducted 1 star (would have been a half or quarter star if available) only because you cant see the water level from the outside and the lid cant open straight up for filling, but this is a great unit. boils fast and stays cool to the touch on the outside. also, the contact point to the base is in the center so it swivels to any position. this is a great unit. i bought this one because my other one (not this brand) that i bought 14 years ago gave out. if this one lasts as long, that would be great.

Excellent — does everything you want from an Electric Kettle — stylish. It is large, like I wanted, so for some it may be too heavy but for me, no problem, I get lots of hot, hot, hot water. Love this pot and having used it for several months it has never failed me. Fast, boil .. love it

i cannot say enough positive things about this water tea boiler. It just works wonderfully and the perfect size. We are a family who loves to brew oolong and thai tea from leaves, and this has definitely made our life a lot easier. if we just need hot water, this heats fast it to the set temperature. But where is shines for us is brewing tea, the mesh container in the center, we fill with tea leaves, hook onto the cover, fill with water, and place the tea infuser cover on. Power on and set the temperature you want, and it does its thing. After 10 minutes with steep time, we have perfect tea, that is not bitter and ready to serve or cool to mix with some boba. The opening is big enough for your hand to clean the interior, made of glass to view the water or tea brewing. Excellent item and our second chefman product this has been quality made.

I bought this for my Husband who makes a pitcher of Iced Tea daily. Normally I would purchase the standard style Iced tea maker with pitcher but after having to throw them out because they kept breaking I went looking for a different solution. I didn’t know if this would work- neither did he as he didn’t want to try it lol. He did try it and it makes great Tea! It is faster than the old way and the Tea is stronger. He puts the family size Tea bags in the Cylinder, adds Filtered water from the Fridge and in Minutes he has a pot of fresh brewed Tea! He adds sweetener and pours it over a glass of ice. I purchased this a a while ago and it has already outlasted all the other Ice Tea Makers I have purchased. I also purchased the smaller 1.2l size that I use to brew Hot tea with flavored tea leaves. I am so happy I found this product and gave it a try! Works every time and cleanup is easy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a Hot Tea or an Iced Tea Maker!!

We love it. It is a little smaller than our old one, but we never filled it up anyway.Nice quality, it heats up as fast as the old one which is fine. It’s very easy to use and we love the pull up lid. We don’t use the tea bag holder.The light is just bright enough. The parts that come into contact with water are glass or stainless steel. The plastics don’t come into contact with the water.

Lasted me about one year before it started building up limescale. Then after two years it started doing small leaks from the bottom. But overall I can’t complain it did its job. It was worth the money spent, time to repurchase a new one.

I can’t recommend this enough, it’s so simple and effective. Boiling is fast and I’m steeping my tea in no time. I don’t use the infuser because I have my own infuser made by Rishi that is just like the one a tea shop I went to uses. Love this kettle and use it daily. You can set this kettle to a few different set temperatures, in addition to a standard function to boil. It works fast and is well insulated so you can’t feel the heat unless you’re up close to the glass. It’s compact so it fits well in my small kitchen.

This Electric Kettle is really easy to handle and the colors that define the temperature are also super cute and give it a different vibe. With that being said, it heats up really fast and really good! Just make sure to not fill it up to high as when it starts to boil it will start to leak from the top since the water is jumping and rising. Also, don’t put anything in here that isn’t water. I had a friend but milk in it once and the stains were hard to take off but eventually worked. The size of this kettle is appropriate and very durable. the safety of this item is understandable for an adult. Just ensure to not have a child touch the glass as it is hot, but the handle is very cool and you don’t have to worry about burning yourself, and it is also really good to have the temp buttons on the same handle as you can change it while it’s hot and you won’t get burned. The on and off button is also very convenient, big enough that you can’t miss it and very easy to switch. There are watermarks afterwards but the usage of the kettle is at 100%.

One of the reviews I read mentioned that it was difficult to put the kettle on it’s base – that has not been not my experience. This kettle works exactly as other similar ones, you just set it over the base and it goes right on easily and with zero problems.One thing that is not too important (for me at least) but FYI – it is not an infinite selection of temperatures. The rotating dial might lead you to think this… The options are (in F°): 104°, 113°, 122°, 131°, 140°, 149°, 158°, 167°, 176°, 185°, 194°, 203°, 212° (using the dial) or 195°, 200°, and 205° using the preset temp button.In practice, here is how I use it: Press power on and the set temperature is always at the default 212°. Press the preset button and then turn the knob to select between 195°, 200°, or 205°. After you have selected one of these three preset temperatures, that is the default preset the next time and every time thereafter that you push this button unless you change it. So, after you have picked your preset temperature, you can just hit power on, hit preset once, then power again to start the kettle and away you go.Cool having the base show both the current temp and the set temp displayed at the same time so you can see status at a glance. There is also a little completion bar along the bottom that grows as it gets closer to full temp.Copper color / buttons are a bit bright/shiny but that is pure personal preference. I bought this “cordless” electric kettle for camping. It’s well constructed and quite sturdy it hold 1 liter of water and heats pretty fast, but its not really cordless. While the kettle itself is cordless, the base must be plugged in which defeats the purpose I bought it for. Still its a great kettle and very affordable. I can use it in my office. 1 star deducted for not being cordless.

I can’t say enough good things about this kettle! I tossed my old stove top tea kettle and modernized with this electric kettle and am really pleased. It heats up very quickly and automatically shuts off. If I don’t get to it right away, the water stays hot inside the stainless steel interior. It looks lovely on my countertop. Make sure you like red, because this is a very vivid shade of red. My daughter has this in white and it blends into her kitchen nicely. Because the boils water so fast, I often use it to bring water to a boil for other cooking. Very convenient. I use mine for water only.

This electric kettle arrived couple of days ago and I’m very happy with it. It is very attractive and doesn’t take up much counter space. I use it to boil water for my single cup French press pot. The water boils at about 60 secs. Very fast. I especially like that it has automatic shut off. The two main reasons I purchased it is to get rid of my stove top kettle from always being on the stove and to save energy. This pot saves me almost 12 to 15 minutes of heating a stove top kettle up. I’m a happy camper. It that changes I’ll update review.

I have a really fancy, ergobomic smart kettle and this one is just a powerhouse and does what it’s supposed to when it’s supposed to. My mom uses this multiple times a day, every single day; my boss has one and uses it with his coffee press; my aunt has had one for years and it still works without issue. Would i purchase this one rather than my smart kettle if I could turn back time? No, because with the tea I drink it’s not supposed to be mixed with boiling water. This is the product anyone could use easily. If you want to have hot water on a daily basis then go for it it holds the heat for a more than 2 hours. It boils quickly and it is not changing the taste of the water which I should say. The stainless steel quality is good and would not have any break easily as it is strong even if you are using it with little care and it is easy to wash. Speaking about the auto shut off it will give a sound that would say to us that it is done and the length of the wire is small and if you are planning to use it in a small space go for this. The functionality is really good and it takes 8 minutes – 10 minutes to boil. When I boil it is the stove the vessel will be hot if the handle is not according but here if you are careful in holding this you can easily use it. But immediately after boiling it you can use it but if handled with care if not it is very safe to use after some time if you want to use it easily. Also when compare to the glass this is ok even if it falls down. It is a good option if you are looking something for an auto shut off

I have purchased a few mug warmers that did not work. This one works and is AMAZING!! It is very easy to use, does not feel cheap and keeps my mug and contents hot for hours. I have to adjust the temperature down as my mug empties or it is too hot to drink. The base is larger than any I have purchased in the past so it holds all my mugs and could probably hold a soup mug. I bought the black one, but wish I would have ordered the pink one for my craft room. Maybe next time the budget allows, although the price is low and definitely worth it!

I bought this for my husband because his coffee was always getting cold. He absolutely loves it. He doesn’t have to drink cold coffee anymore. You can set the temperature – there’s four choices: 131, 145, 167, or 185 degrees. There’s also a timer you can set. He’s been using it for close to a year now, and it’s working just fine. He uses it every day for about five hours a day – even on the weekends. It’s about 1-1/4 inches high and 6-1/2″ (front to back) x 5-1/4″ side to side. It’s a sleek, black, and looks nice on his desk. This is great for anyone that wants to keep their hot beverage hot. It’s also makes a great gift.Update: adding 2 photos. I was asked to answer a few questions, but my responses don’t get attached to the review, so I’m adding that here as follows:1) The warmer does not appear to be UL certified. There is no sticker or label on the warmer or cord indicating UL certification (or listing, as per the question).2) Unsure if product contains PTFE or Teflon. There is nothing on it indicating a yes or a no to either, and I no longer have the box to look at.3) Unsure of where it’s made. Nothing on the warmer mentions it, and as stated above, I no longer have the box.4) Yes, it makes a great gift for any occasion.5) It came in a box which made it easy to wrap for Christmas.6) This question disappeared while I was answering another question, so I’ll put the question and the answer: “How do I turn it off? So far, so good. Instead of buying one function diffuser I purchased two of these as a multipurpose diffuser for essential oils and keeping my beverage hot. The buttons are somewhat confusing as they don’t light up when you press them or for that matter light up at all minus the temperature light. I do wish that timer would have a count down to how much time is left, otherwise the auto timer ok. I like the fact that it can reach a temperature of 185. Only time will tell how long it will last.

Have only used for a week. This unit is awesome. Keeps my hot beverage at perfect temperature for as long as it takes me to finish it. Love the timer feature. The only thing I would change is the power button should pe a push button not just touch because it is easier to accidentally turn on.

Absolutely the very best ! Granted, I’ve only had this beautiful device for a few days, yet loving it ! I barely have to brush the settings with my finger and it works – no harsh pressing needed! Available in colors ( I have the white one). Another great setting is the timer – shuts off as programmed ! Four temperature settings 131,145 (this one is recommended and ideal), 167 & 185. It does get a bit warm on the bottom – no damage to the desk yet ! The coaster that was sent with the device is a great and useful addition as well. Pay addition to the type of cup to use – makes a difference with heating. Placing cool drinks on the warmer is not advised. Insulated cups cannot be used.

This mug warmer is easy to use and heats up quickly. There are 3 heat settings, but I use the middle setting and it keeps my tea at just the right temperature. You can program it to shut off after one and a half hours, shut it off manually, or it will shut off after 8 hours if you forget to shut it off. Good value for the money, looks good and the touch control is nice, too.

Love, love, love this coffee mug warmer. When I pour a cup of coffee, I usually had to warm it up 3 times before the cup was finished. Now I set my warmer for 2 hours and it keeps my coffee cup hot. As I said before I LOVE THIS MUG WARMER!!!! I highly recommend this for you or for someone you know loves to keep their coffee cup hot.I had read in a previous review that someone recommends a trivet to put under the mug warmer if it is put on a wood table/desk as the bottom gets on the bottom hot. So, I took their advice and bought the “4 Packed Colorful Silicone Trivet Mats” and they work great and look good. I have had no problem from the heat from the bottom of the mug warmer. So happy with all of my purchases.

This pot is amazing,simple to use, esthetic to watch boil, sturdy and safe and yes. Its not an exaggeration to say this pot can go from cold water to a rolling boil in under the time it takes for you to pick a mug. Its fast. And watching the calm blue light and the water is such a pleasant moment of peace especially if you’re a night worker and its dark. Be absolutely careful of trying to place this too close to other things. It can radiate heat!

Heats up quickly, so easy to use. There is a small amount of noise while heating but like it as then we know it has shut off and water is ready. Have noticed the beginning of a brown ring on inside bottom, not sure what is causing this. Have tried cleaning with no effect. Anyone know what this could be? Fantastic little kettle. I’ve owned 3 of these (lost two to moves and now broke the third). The capacity is great, it heats up in under 10 minutes, it’s a noisy little thing but a stove kettle is noisier. It’s a little on the heavy side (hence why it got dropped when the handle was wet), but easy to use and pick up with the “swivel” base. Ultimately, sad I accidentally dropped and broke it 2 DAYS after I got it lol.

Some reviewers (including product description) say “heats up fast.” I don’t think they had an electric kettle that actually heated up fast. This boils a cup of water (let’s define “cup” as an average coffe mug) in 2 minutes 50 seconds. That is nearly 3 minutes!!! I have an EU kettle (different make) which heats up the same amount in 1 minute 20 seconds. So this one takes over TWICE as long. I was somewhat shocked. I mean, it’s still ok. Not like I can’t wait an extra 1.5 miutes but still.However, if you were trying to boil a full 1.5L, then you better make sure you have enough vacation days left because it will literally test your patience!The other thing I don’t like about it is when I remove it from the base (while it is still ON) it will not switch automatically off. So if you put it back on the base it will still operate. A good kettle will switch OFF once you remove it from the base.However, for the price, it works good. You just need a little more patience for the boil.

This new kettle was just what I wanted. Small, efficient and cute! It doesn’t take up a lot of room on my counter and it looks great. Heats water very quickly but it is a bit noisier than my old kettle. I also like the cord which wraps around the bottom out of sight but you can make it longer if needed. I would buy this kettle again.

I like it! I’m taking away one star because the little window that lets you see the water level is completely out of sight for me. (I’m left-handed) So that is a bummer. Otherwise I’m glad I bought this kettle. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the OXO kettle I had (and still have just in case) except that it was bigger and therefore heavier. My hands don’t have the strength they once did and this smaller kettle is so much easier to lift and pour even when it is full. Put a viewing window on MY side – and I’ll give you back that last star! I recommend this kettle. Boils fast. Cuts off when it boils. Nice!

I bought this on a whim but I use it several times a day. As a person who always forgets I have water on the stove, the auto shut off is a blessing. I can’t speak to long term durability but it’s been great so far.

I will choose Amazon basic all the time. This kettle heats up so fast that I rely on it every time I have a need for hot water. It’s quicker to use then boiling water for romen or a bunch of hot chocolate.

This electric kettle cooks so fast. It makes a few cups of boiling water at a time. My husband thought it would use to much electricity. It’s around 3 cents a cup. Putting on the gas kettle takes two to three times longer to boil. This electric kettle shuts off automatically. The kettle on the stove just keeps whistling and can run out of water and burn the house down. My husband loves it too. He makes me tea every morning and can’t believe it’s so quick..
